Charlene has been cutting my hair 20 years plus and has ALWAYS been very professional, friendly and spot on to my hair sculpting needs. I am quite picky and wear my hair in many styles. From high and tight to just touching my shoulders.Very friendly staff, clean old school barber shop with a modern twist. She is the only one who cuts my. The older gentleman who has his station one down from the window did not listen to anything I said and how I know is by the way he cut my hair I asked for an inch on the top and he did not even give me finger length and the sides are instead of being a 3 he gave me a 2 on the sides the business is overall good but DO NOT GET HIM

Finally found the barber shop Ive been looking for. Just a haircut without all the fancy bs. The old retired colonel took care of me and did an amazing job. Ive definitely found my permanent barber shop.

Great place! cash only, which is not really a bad thing. I tried two or three other shops for a walk-in only because they were closer to my route, only to be told it would be an hour or two before I could get seated, but most of them were empty besides the person in the chair. walked in seeing 4 or 5 people waiting but still got seated right away since they were waiting for a specific barber. This place reminds me of the ones i would go to as a kid. friendly banter between guest and stylist, accompanied the community feel. a good mix of young and old. Dylan cut my hair and did a great job of what I wanted quickly. got my hair and beard trimmed, and the razor edging was a great touch. price was more than fair, i have paid more at the chain places (ie great clips... etc.) and got a less polished cut without a beard trim. This will most certainly be my go to place for now on, happy the other places were not walk in friendly.

25 years and the same cut. Whether Ray Sr or Charlene and now younger Ray, my hair is over the ears and long in the back.I have just had a heated call with Ray telling me he doesn’t like my tone.Well he cut nothing off my sides but did cut 6 inches off my tail.And he’s yelling at me blaming me for not being clearer.So make sure you give very, very clear instructions each time. Assume a clean slate from last visit.It will be your fault.If I could show a photo of me the first thing is my hair is not around my ears but hanging to my neck. You can’t see the missing tail.Hey. It’s just a haircut! It will grow back. Except if your 66 and no one in the family grows old. I was in control of one aspect, my hair.Now Ray is in control.Be ready. You are warned.

I stopped in while down on holiday vacation. The entire staff greeted me and took me in right away. I recieved an excellent cut while also enjoying a pleasant conversation. I will come back here anytime Im in the area. Thank you!

This place cant be beat. Quick, detailed, and friendly. I always have Ray (the part-owner) or Austin cut my hair, but my husband swears by their other barbers. This is the only place I go and if youre struggling to find a good barber in Tampa (like I did for 6 months), look no more.

Love to come here for my sons haircuts - been coming for 12 years. A staple in Carrollwood and a truly old time feel. Step back into the past (think Floyds Barbershop on Andy Griffith) for a shave and a haircut (although not two bits anymore)!! 🤣

We’ve been customers for more than 20 years (husband and two sons). They effortlessly make you feel comfortable at the shop and we’ve shared many “firsts” with them as our boys got older. My husband has been very ill and now under Hospice care. He needed a haircut desperately and unable to leave the house. He wanted to see how he would look at his funeral. So I called. Without ANY hesitation Charlene arrived at our home with all supplies in hand! She cut his hair, trimmed mustache and eyebrows and gave him a beautiful shave. Very freindly staff. Seem to have a lot of regular customers. I enjoy the decor and the old style barbar chairs. Very good hair cut the gentlemen who cut my hair had very good attention to detail. I would say they have earned a new customer.
