1st time here. Signed in for a haircut for myself and my son. My son was able to get his haircut but was not pleased with the outcome. I sat and waited while 2 barbers watched a replay of a boxing match but never said a word to me. They were also dropping some loud MFs in front of him. Wont be going back. Prices are cheap though.

The worse haircut experience ever! The picture speaks for itself. The barber forgot to brush his hair before doing the line and here is the result. There was no apology, only excuses.We had to cut his hair super short on the sides to try to somewhat “fix”this disaster. And Yes, it looked even worse than this.

There was a particular barber named Rafy there and he was the worst barber Ive had in my life. I told him to cut sides with a 3 and keep the top longer but what he ended up doing is cutting the top WAY too short knowing that I came in with long hair and probably did not want to opt for super short hair. By the time I got to see the mirror, he was already done chopping the top. The top of my hair was probably around a 5 afterwards and then he says oh I think we should do shorter on the sides. Yeah well obviously because I clearly cant do a 3 since itll just look like a buzzcut so I then opted for a 1 on the sides. Oh and I also told him to fade up the sides but of course he didnt even do that. I tell him that I sweep my fringe to the left (to cover my left temple as it has a bit more hairline recession than my right temple. What does he do? He makes the cut work for sweeping to the RIGHT so now when I sweep it to the left, it looks awful. To top it all off, he nicked me when edging my ears. When it came time to pay, I used a card and low and behold he charges me $21 dollars instead of the actual price its supposed to be, $20. He probably didnt think I would catch it but fortunately for him, I REALLY just wanted to get out of there so I let it slide. If you want to go to an actually good barbershop, go to Moetowns Barber Shop. Its also on cross creek and I have yet to have a problem with them. The only reason why I decided to try King Tut is because it was closer. I will never make that mistake again. Im sure the other barbers there are fine but because of Rafy, Ill never give them a chance.EDIT: In response to the owners comment: I did say the rest of the barbers are probably fine but unfortunately, he is a representative of the shop and such ends up painting the entire shop in a negative light. Also, he never even told me he was going to add the 1 dollar fee. If he told me I probably wouldve agreed but the fact that he deliberately did not tell me makes him seem untrustworthy.Dear readers, feel free to try the other barbers but avoid Rafy at all costs.

Its always a great experience when I go to King Tut. The Barbers are courteous and friendly and cut braid hair and get it done quickly.

My son has been getting his hair cut by Josh since he was 6. Mickey also is a go to. Great service every time! They respect and listen to your request. Even when you aren’t quite sure what you want they manage to execute the look you wanted. The shop is clean, welcoming and family oriented, from the entertainment playing on the front TV to the video game set up they have in the back for the Kiddos.

Theres a nice vibe from the moment you walk in! Its CLEAN and doesnt smell. I wasnt skeptical about sitting down in the common area as I waited. Its super kid and family friendly. The barbers are very skilled. My barber is Josh (the owner) but Ive seen the others work... even let Mikey line me up when Josh was out. I sent my son over there earlier about 5:30pm and when he came back home I was beyond upset. I cannot believe they even allowed him to walk out looking the way he did. I drove right over there and needless to say they were already closed. Tomorrow I hope someone (GiGi) is there to rectify this horrible cut. It will be the first and last time.
