Im here from out of town to visit my son. I brought him and my cousin here Andi have to admit the cuts were very good. My cousin tried them out and his cut was nice. It was 3 barbers there. So fast forward to this morning. I check Google it says they open at 8am.. I get there about 7:45 and I look at the door and it says they open at 9am. So I go to the supermarket across the street and hang out until 8:45. I stood in front of the barbershop until 9:30. Still no one. Im not use to that. Barbers where Im from are early especially on Friday when everyone wants to be fresh for the weekend so alot of folks come early. They should do a much better job of being there at the time they promote. Im just saying. Didnt like the wait.

This is great barbershop. I have been getting my hair cut by Marvin for over 5 years now and I can always depend on him when I want a great cut. I would definitely recommend Upper Cuts.

Ive been there three times with my son. The first barber Blessed did a good job. He cut it low, but there was still some hair on his head. The other two shaved his hair off completely. Who shaves the hair off a 6 year old? Its very hard to communicate with them so they can understand. I only like Blessed the barber there. But even with him, Im not going back. My boy was in tears.

David has been my family barber for 5+ years. We have always paid for services and tip well. Just recently I ran health issues. Suffered a miscarriage and all. Which David knows of because we always chat. We had three appointments scheduled today 7/19/19 for my family and had to cancel due to my doc office calling telling me i need to have surgery and to come to her office asap. My husband tried to call but for some reason he never answer his calls. So he canceled through the app. So David text him dont ever book with him again. Wow. Loyalty means nothing to him. For him to reply saying that under these circumstances shows what kinda person he was this whole time. His sense of judgment in morals is very Inhumane

I understand that u like to take care of your previous customers but dont neglect the new business to the shop. Just a simple Ill be right with u goes a long way verses just having them sit there and wait for 2 hours and not even being acknowledged. Not very professional

Todays being my birthday i decided to get my haircut. I walked into establishment and took a seat, I wasnt greeted by anyone. After sitting for 15 min and still nobody said one thing. When there was an open chair and i was next i was ignored and another guy who just walked in was waved over. I was only white person in place. It felt racial to me. I just left and will not go back.

I was there on Tuesday during closing hours and there was drama with the owner and a lady. Police were called and I was told by one of the guys from outside that the owner hit the lady because shes pregnant with his baby and showed up there to confront him. I do not support businesses or people who commit violence against women. My mother was in an abusive relationship and I do not like men that put their hands on women. I will not be coming back to that place.

WARNING:On June 10th I was really excited to get my haircut. I was on Instagram looking for Tampa Barbers that can cut hair really good. I saw a barber by the name of Supreamthebarber on Instagram because i was coming from out of town and didnt know any barbers. I was excited because I saw the pictures online on IG and knew I was going to get a great haircut. I was at the barbershop at 8:00am and no one was there except a man that came to the door, the open sign was not on. Asked a short Gentleman with a low haircut if I can sit in the shop and wait for the barber since 8 am is when it is suppose to open and he said no because he is cleaning so I waited in my car.. Mind you the shop suppose to open at 8am.... I was in my car for about 10 minutes which was not all that bad.I talked to the barber name David aka Supreamthebarber about the haircut I wanted and even showed him the picture. I asked him the price and the way he explained it to me seemed like it was 40 dollars for the hair and the beared. He explaines it to me in more detail and was very professional in explaining it so I understood that it wasnt 40 dollars. He told me that my ex barber did not do a good job on my haircut and that the reason they charge as much as they do is because they are really good. A guy came in and gave him 10 dollars to sow a seed as they usually say in church  and David aka Supreamthebarber said that he will give me my haircut for 25 dollars and take  off 10 which I would only have to pay 15. Man i was so happy and said wow God is amazing. We had great convo about life and Jesus and this was just an amazing convo and I thought I had a barber for life. After he finished my hair cut i had to remind him that he didnt put a line in my hair like the picture and he did. I kept looking at my line and said in my mind it looked crooked but I was not sure and it did not look like the picture.I gave him 15 dollars and when I went home and looked at the picture and my hair and it was nothing like the picture and the line was crooked.I texted him that i didnt like the haircut and that i really appreciated it but I didnt like it.As a professional customer service associate myself and the good Convo about Jesus that we had, i thought he would respond to me in a nice way of saying hey comeback and Ill fix it or I apologize or something to that effect.Word for word this is what he texted me i copied and paste:Lol...I knew but Man i was rushin to get you out My chair, scariest thing is to meet a cheap & picky client... im a good barber but not everybodys barber, good luck with the next barber...OH!awsome conversation thoWho says that??? I never came at you wrong. This is my actual message to him copied and paste:Hey supreme i wanted to let you know that am not too thrill with my hair cut that i appreciate it but the hair should of bee lower like the guy in the picture it more cut close where i have a little too much hair than he does around that area.This is veeeeeery unprofessional and I will never in my life go to that barbershop again. The haircuts didnt even deserve 15 dollars at all. And you said you KNEW???  All I told him is May God Bless you. Uppercuts i will never have any of my friends that are moving here ever come to your estsblishment. Very unprofessional.
