I dropped off my car and they told me it would take two days to be done. The best part was that they were sending me videos and pictures of the process. I highly recommend this shop! Theyre located in Tampa Florida. So, the customer service is very good. The owner John and his brother in law and all other guys who work are friendly. Theyll let you know all the details and try to explain what work needs to be done and why. Service and Labor prices they offer are good. I moved to Florida couple of months back and havw been going here for any service or repair since I went there first. The only thing they can improve in is the timing. Try to stay open a little late on weekdays maybe even 6-6.30pm would do. Also, Id only suggest stay open at least half day on Saturday. Might help your business guys. Otherwise, everything is good to go.

My fiance took my car on Tuesday they found a oil leak which they recorded so that I could visually see it myself which i loved... It was 130 to fix not bad at all.. I went there using a Groupon for an oil change. I felt safe, place was clean, the gentlemen were courteous, and I didn’t feel out of place like I do when I feel when I’m out of my element. I went by myself and as a Black female you can either be met 3 ways: disregard, contempt, or appreciated. Glad to know it was the latter. They thanked me for coming in, thanked me for choosing them, and made the process quick and easy as I went on my lunch break.

I took my car to John and his shop. They greeted me with a smile. Everyone was exceedingly nice. John told me about my radiator and how I needed to get a new one. I told him about my money struggles as a student and he definitely worked with me. I have never been taken care of at a car shop like this before. The mechanic knows what he is doing too. I went to another shop to get my radiator fixed and they priced it at $800. I paid a quarter of that. I have an infinity. This was over 3 weeks ago and my car is still working great!! Thanks John!

About a week ago, my Lincoln breaks down at red light. Had car towed to Transamerica. Staff was very polite and concise. After a small wait, was told that my timing belt had snapped. Car was fixed same day at a reasonable price. No issues since. Definitely recommending and going to this shop in the future.

These guys are the real deal. I had 4 different quotes all telling me I had to replace my bumper over a little ding. I brought my car to these guys after I was referred to them and they FIXED my bumper with out using the replacement bumper that I was able to return. They told me 2 days for the repairs it was finished in a little over a day. When I arrived to pick up my car not only did he repair the damage done to my bumper but I also had a little nic on my handle that they went out of their way to repair as well at no additional charge. They also followed up with me and sent me photos through the entire process and then after the deal was done and over they followed up with me 2 days after I picked up my car to ask what I thought and get my honest opinion about the work. FLAWLESS WORK. Nobody can even tell where the damage was. I recommend these guys to anyone with auto issues and I have already sent multiple people to them in the past few days. Thank you again guys, great work. Super friendly too which is always a plus.

I took my car in for new heads and head gaskets and costed me way too much. About to 100 miles later I started overheating, so I pulled apart the engine myself to notices there’s STILL head gasket leaks and STILL sludge in my car. With all the repairs, towing and everything, I’m out almost $3,000 and still have a car with the same issue. I should also add on the fact it took 3 months for the car to even be finished

This is definitely the place you want to take your car for any repairs, issues or general maintenance. The prices are very reasonable but more importantly, you’re going to get the best care from honest, hardworking individuals. They always get me in right away for an appointment and go out of their way to make sure all of my needs are taken care of. They exceed expectations where most repair shops will disappoint and overcharge. I will never go anywhere else!

All I can say is WOW! The master mechanic and the staff here is amazing! This place is a hidden gem in our area. My 2012 Jag XF needed a very costly repair. My local dealer wanted to charge way more money to repair my out of warranty car. The staff here purchased genuine parts and repaired my vehicle. It runs so well now. They also performed my annual maintenance for less money. I am so glad I found a place to service and care for my cars. This family owned business will never let you down. Skip the fancy service centers at the dealerships and go to a place that has an owner on site at all times. They’ll treat you like family!

A very professional environment with great customer service. They helped me in time of need when I needed to get my transmission fixed after it was blown. Other places told me $1,200 but John did it for $700. I had a very bad car in the past and him and his mechanic kept that car alive for FOUR years!! Especially when everyone else told me to just ditch the car because there is no use for it anymore. Ever since, I go to john for everything. It is a clean environment and well-organized. I recommend it to all my friends and family and co-workers. Of course like every other place, there will be a down fall that someone will try to find but in the end, theyre the best in town. Theyre mechanic is excellent and so is management. It is a MUST GO-TO place. These big time dealers are all about the money, John and his crew is all about customer service and to make sure his clients are happy, regardless of what other reviews say. This Auto repair shop is the only place I trust with my coyote when ever I wanted to install stuff on my car or repair. Both Orlando and Johny will provide the best and the lowest price services in the whole area no body can beat them. I had some issues with mu vehicle ford dealership couldn’t repair but they figured it out and fixed it for me. The only thing I didn’t like is sometime they will take more time than promised to either fix or install but I think it would worth it if it is done by them professionals.

I went looking for the mechanic shop located behind them and ended up going to the wrong place. Even though this was not the initial place I was looking for I liked the way they handled me and their appearance better than the place I was referred to. I gave them a shot and here it is a few weeks later and my car is still going strong. They even showed me the bad parts and explained why they were bad. So its simple as that. You guys get 5 stars. This is your guy with the white charger and I approve this message! Im here now getting work on my ladies car. When you do good business you get all of my work. Not like these swindling mechanics taking your money and not doing the job right or these other places going upside your head

I took my Jeep Wrangler to John because the Jeep dealership wanted to charge me an arm and a leg for a hose. Went to john, he charged me only a finger lol. The job was done in less than 1.5 hours and from now on, Ill be heading to his shop for all my future car repairs. Thanks dude!! One thing I realized is not to pay attention to bad reviews. People have one bad experience and tell all their friends to give that place a bad review. Just because it doesnt go your way it doesnt mean you get to ruin someones business for your pleasure. Dont listen to the bad reviews. Ive already sent three of my friends to John and they are as happy as can be with their wallets still fat.

Had my VW window regulator, headlights replaced here last month.. and also did my oil change for a great deal! my car seems to have no problem at all. john and his dad who owns the business were very nice & helpful too! I would definitely come back here if i have any problems.. why pay more for the same service if you can find a place who can do it cheaper for the same quality?

Being a single mom, let alone a woman, trying to find a honest mechanic is hard to find. I came across Transamercia with a Groupon deal. Even though it was quite a drive from my home, it was the best decision I made. They worked on my 1999 Lexus RX 300 twice and it just turn to 230,000 miles and its running very smoothly. With their help, Im sure I can get another 100,000 miles out of it. After my daughters car was totaled, I asked them to stop on the front end work that they were doing on my 2003 BMW X5 and focus on the Lexus that I gave to my daughter to make sure some outstanding things that I need to be fixed, fixed. They were very accommodating and able to do what I needed in 3 days. They were also able to fix the A/C and for the first time in years the air was coming out of the back! My BMW took a little longer because of the parts that needed to be ordered, but they tripled check my SUV to make sure it was safe for me to drive away. They also were able to restore my headlights too! I really and truly appreciate the honesty of this shop. They have a new customer!!!

My wipers were not working, i brought it to them and they lied about replacing the motor and charged me for it. It took another mechanic to discover it was never replaced. Stay away from this place or at least make sure you stand over them watch do the work. Theyll cut corners to make an extra dollar.

We called and explained the situation, we got the van towed to the shop and they had it ready by the end of business on Monday. Very fair in prices and great work. Totally reliable! Transamerica! One of Tampas shadiest repair shops! You have to know about cars or your own! if you do not want to get taken advantage of. These mechanics will mislead you and tamper with your car so that you have to come back paying more. This establishment needs to be shut down but no one has time to sue these monkeys.

Currently writing this review as I’m stranded on the road once again due to the lack of responsibility and trust from this place. First off this place is a scam, charged me $900 for work that should’ve only been $350. The first time I took it to these guys...my car broke down 2 days after getting it back. I told the guy what the problem was and they didn’t even replace it. 2nd time taking it to this place they advised me it was that which I advised them that was bad to begin with. Ok a month later, my radiator goes out which they said they replaced a hose which was $130. Looking into the radiator on the side of the road(currently) I realized all they did was put some sealer around the leak which eventually busted and left me stranded as I type this.. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME, don’t go here.. they may have made some money off me but hopefully this hits them in the balls and people actually read this. Thanks, stranded customer

I was visiting Tampa for the summer 2014 and had to get a tune-up before driving to Miami. I paid around $300 for a tune-up, oil change (whice I have never paid seperately for), and head lights replaced. I told them them to let me know how much the head lights would be before but they installed them anyways then tried to give me a deal. At the end of the summer I went to get my car serviced and to my surprise my personal mechanic told me that THEY NEVER GAVE ME A TUNE-UP! The tune-up itself was the most expensive! After calling and speaking to John, I was told that he would look into it and let me know if the mechanic that worked on my car did the service. I even sent him pictures of the old spark plugs. AND OF COURSE, I NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN! $300 LOST! Im an unemployed full-time student so that really hurt my pockets! IF YOU SEE THIS REPAIR SHOP IN TAMPA, JUST KEEP DRIVING UNLESS YOU LIKE WASTING MONEY! NEVER AGAIN!

I got a groupon for spark plug change here and when I left, they forgot to connect a hose back together and coolant ended up in my oil. When the car was still driving they admitted to the mistake and reconnected the hose. The damage was already done. The next day the car overheated and resulted in a $1600 repair. NEVER take your business here.

I would give it 0 stars if possible they rebuilt a transmission for my truck and it broke that same day i got it towed and they “fixed” the issue but blamed it on another problem and while in their shop the water pump went bad and they said that was the cause to my transmission failure i have a 6 month warranty and 2 weeks later my transmission busted again and they dont want to man up to their warranty i was stranded on the road and they refused to help and cost had to come out of my pocket its a shame i dont recommend these guys at all huge headache and financial loss
