Theyre busy but they are so because they do good, honest work without bankrupting you. Theyre a little short staffed but the ones working there made up for it with elbow grease

My husband came here to fix his truck. They showed him something that was broken and patched up underneath his car. My husband asked them to fix that while they were inside fixing something else and ORLANDO brushed him off and said its ok....Thousands of dollars later after replacing the transmission...(that they did not even inform us that had a code)...if we had known a transmission code came up we would not have paid them almost a thousand dollars to change a part we had already replaced once.They didnt even give us the choice to say maybe we should buy another car instead of fixing this. So desperate for money they would cheat us like this. When we took the vehicle back because it had the same problems $1000 later ...then Orlando states to me ..the wife....that a transmission code came up.Now we have replaced the transmission somewhere else and our check engine is still on. (the reason for going to guys in the first place was to diagnose the problems with our truck). We have discovered that it may be the exhaust and can cause major issues with our car. This is the part my husband asked Orlando to go ahead and replace while he had the car open. He refused. This is not a place to go to if you really want to resolve any issues with your vehicle. I wouldnt trust them to change my tire.

Impressed! Our car had some front-end damage after getting in a fight with a parking cone. We were provided with a more than fair quote and the job was done before the anticipated completion time, which was only 2 days at that. They not only repaired our main concern with the bumper, but repaired a few other spots on the bumper, too! Our car looks new! We will definitely be back with any of our automotive needs.

Ive been coming here for about 5 Years and this place is absolutely great. They are currently 1 of only 2 mechanics I trust in this whole area. Prices are very fair and they always look for a way to help you save if at all possible without losing quality. Ms Pat (at the front desk) is always super nice and professional. I want to write a Thank You to all the employees at Guys Automotive. They did a fantastic job on my Porsche Boxster. I had some damaged on my front bumper and hood. They repaired the damage and also painted the bumper and hood. It looks Fantastic. They also polished the headlights and applied clearcoat. PLUS, they washed and cleaned my car, tires and wheels and vacuumed the inside. I was very pleased to see my car ! Thank You Pat for all your help. Referred by Danielle. Have a 2002 Toyota Solora, had some transmission problems and other small things wrong with the driver side door. They came and picked up the car from me in Brandon and fixed everything I asked and some! My car sounds, feels, and runs great after the work they did on it! Reasonable price and the car was away for only a few days. Great and easy to work with and reliable to get a hold of. Transmission in my Nissan Crew Cab failed to the point I had no reverse, and it would barely move. Guy, Pat, Al and his experienced staff rebuilt the transmission in a timely manner, and performed the necessary quality checks to make sure the job was done correctly. The fee to rebuild the transmission was extremely fair. In fact, I had the vehicle inspected by four previous shops, and no one could figure out what was wrong with the vehicle. Strongly recommend Guys Automotive for quality and fair priced repairs.

Guys automotive is top notch from the guys outside to the young lady inside I took my car to 3 different places knowing exactly what was wrong with my car just to see who would try to rip me off all of them tried but Guys was the only one that took his time to show me and explain what it would take to get it fixed it and that is what a quality shop should be like .I highly recommend GUYS AUTOMOTIVE

Overpriced they charged me for 3hours of work and they told me my master cylinder was messed up, on a job the took another mechanic less than an hour. I got a second opinion and my master cylinder is fine. I went to T.K. Automotive in Greensboro N.C. they told me that my driver side axle was leaking and the contol arms and sway bar bushings in the front needs to be replaced. I will not be going back to Guys Automotive.

Amazing service my Porsche alternator went out and their technicians were able to take care of it....they also found some vacuum line leaks that were giving me the red light of death brake booster...the dealerships all wanted to charge me $1ks to replace booster and some relay. They said they fixed the leaky hose and wala no more red brake booster red light while driving...you probably need brakes when driving😉...theyre diagnostics were very thorough, the best way to describe it is they had all the tools and software the only issue was waiting for Porsche to deliver the water hoses for the cooler...I cant believe they use water to cool alternator...learn something new everyday! Thanks Al the green pea machine and Guy for an amazing job...vroom....vroom....I can stop on a dime!

Absolutely terrible experience. I usually dont even write reviews but I dont want others to go through what I did.Brought my car in about a month ago now. This is at a time I had a fractured jaw and couldnt really communicate over the phone which I let the lady know ahead of time.Think her name is Pat or something. Im asking questions and giving her information about what happened when my car broke down. She says something about get the car to the shop and they will look at it and proceeds to hang up without warning. I call back to finish asking other questions I have, because Im not car savvy. Throughout both calls its obvious that she has some sort of negative attitude.Finally I get my car towed, had to wait for specific company. I call back in a week or so because I havent heard anything back yet, and I had to get to my doctors appointment soon (45min drive). She answers the phone again and asking about my car she proceeds to hang up again. Another few days go by so I can calm down, and give them time. She said they still didnt know what was wrong it was only running on three cylinders and said they are going to try and figure out the reason and get back to me another week goes by (so Im in my third week total) call again, she says I need a new motor. Went ahead and ordered it three days later cause its a special motor or something and they had to buy it from a dealer they can trust. Near the end of the third week I finally got my car back. While driving back home to visit family only a few days later I realized the hood was smoking.Apparently the oil gasket pan (something like that, again not car savvy) was leaking, which aggravated me even more because A.) She said I needed a new motor so I thought I was getting a good motor. B.) They said It had low miles just like my old motor (91k on the old one) C.) they said they checked for leaks when they got the motor, yet it just miraculously started leaking a few days after, FYI I did not need to drive it much during those days.So after having to talk to the lady even more, which still gave me attitude so I got angry at her she said she would get the mechanic to explain things, though I was still mad cause the customer service has been terrible at this point. This is at 4pm and she calls me back at 4:15pm or so stating he is really busy and will call me first thing the next morning.Wake up at 8a.m. expecting a call shortly, Had meeting from 10:30-12pm, kept my phone on the entire time, still no call. After the meeting I call and get rerouted to the other store where one of the mechanics there was actually friendly (Hillsborough location, I believe) informed me that the other mechanic that was supposed to call was heading to his office and should call me within the next 10-15 minutes. About 2 hours passes when I get called (I was at another doctors appointment so I couldnt answer). Call back right after and literally yell at Pat again cause she is still giving me attitude and false estimates. Finally speak to the mechanic, which we argue about hes running this sham of a business. So I went back to the shop demanded my car back cause I had enough of their games and shoddy business tactics.Few side notes: When I was having them look at why it was smoking I showed up and no one paid attention to me the 20 minutes I was standing there. No sign saying went to lunch or anything like that to give me a heads up.Again at this time Pat told me it shouldnt take too long for them to find out about the smoking that they will look at it right away. Over an hour of me sitting in that lobby goes by with no information no more time frames.She was talking with one of the guys that work there about some costumer in an unprofessional when Im like a few feet away, so I can only imagine what was said when I left.
