Servicemen were professional and knowledgeable. They were on time and made sure the work area was clean when they left. They repaired an oven we were sure wed have to replace.
We called Sears Appliance Repair to repair our Kenmore dishwasher that was getting an error mid-cycle. The technician was very nice, but after diagnosing the issue as a control board, having to wait for the replacement control board to come in and them to come back to install it, the dishwasher stopped working during the first use. Now I cant even get it to start again. Its worse than before we had it fixed. Now Im out almost $500 and waiting for them to come out and try to fix it again. Im regretting trying to fix it and wish I would have just bought a new one.
Arrived at good time and was very professional and informative.
We had a water valve go bad on our Kenmore Elite Front-Loading Washer. The repair person just happen to be the same repair person who repaired our Kenmore Elite Dry for $346.65 two years earlier. The repair person came in found the problem had the part and repaired it just 45 minutes and at the cost of $317.39. So we are back in operation now.In 2013 we purchased these two Kenmore Elite appliances for just at $2,000 and we have already spent so far over $660 in repairs. The Washer and Dryer set that these Kenmore Elite replaced we had for just over 20 years and still were able to sell them as working appliances. These are the last Kenmore appliances we will own they are unreliable and just too expensive to purchase and maintain.
On time and excellent service. Appreciate the technical knowledge the technician had and the service was quick and efficient!
Tech came and did not order replacement parts. Got runaround from sears and the 3rd party company. Ice maker still making a lot of noise. Will need to have them out again.
Six visits that spans 2months and the air conditioner is still not working. First technician added Freon and cleaned the inside coil which left a toxic odor for a few days. He wouldn’t listen to me when I told him the return wasn’t pulling in air the way it was before he cleaned the coil. He said call them back if it iced over again. Second visit; he replaced the capacitor and said the blower motor was bad. Third visit; he and another technician couldn’t replace the motor because the truss was in the way and we needed to remove it before they come back out. They refused to cut loose the duct to slide the unit back to get clear access to the panel, which is what the previous technician did a few years ago. Fourth visit; they replaced the motor but still refused to listen that the air return wasn’t pulling correctly. Visit number five; the previous technicians wire the motor wrong. When this technician finished the rewire he didn’t position the drip pan correctly. The unit froze over and defrosted when we shut it off and the float switch didn’t trigger when the pan filled with water, and now there’s a huge 5 foot by 2 foot water stain on the ceiling and the air still isn’t working correctly. Visit six; now they are saying the A coil is the problem and needs to be replaced but the fin plate is rusted thru and the warranty doesn’t cover the cost. The estimate he gave was $1,500 to $3,000 and he said the leak stain isn’t his department. He said to call them back. He actually didn’t fix the pan because the stain is now even larger. I would not recommend Sears AC technicians to repair anything on an air handler or condenser. We are not renewing the warranty service and will look for a different AC company to install a new unit and service it when the time comes.
BEWARE...Our Kenmore refrigerator stopped making ice. We called Sears for service. We were told that the service charge would be $119 plus parts & labor but if we purchased a service contract for all our appliances we would receive $150 discount on this repair. The tech arrived the very next day & diagnosed the problem as a broken ice maker. However, during his diagnosis he broke the flapper that holds the ice back when the door is open. He said that the flapper was already broken, it wasnt but it cost US an extra $35 for a new one. He ordered the new ice maker & flapper but the earliest appointment for installation would be October 22 which is another 12 days even though the parts arrived at our house on the 15th. A different tech arrived on the 22nd, installed the parts & told us we would have to wait until the refrigerator reached a certain temperature before it would start making ice. He left. We placed a thermometer right beside the ice maker & in 3 hours it was reading 15 degrees below zero which is gracious aplenty temperature to make ice but after 24 hours we still did not have ice. We called Sears back to report the failure to make ice. They said they would send someone out to diagnose the problem but the earliest appointment would be November 4, which is a month since we first called for repair & to date we have spent $350 after the $150 discount for buying the annual warantee and we still dont have ice with now another delay in service and the very real probability that it wasnt the ice maker causing our problem but another part with yet additional costs for parts & labor. We asked to speak to a supervisor, they promised to have one call us...he didnt. They also said someone would call about getting a tech out sooner...they didnt. Needless to say, we are extremely unhappy & dissatisfied with Sears Appliance Repair & upset that we didnt take the time to read the many revealing & dissatisfied reviews before we called them for service. Although we are financially invested in seeing this particular repair completed, we are definitely cancelling the service contract as we do not anticipate any substantial improvements in the way they take care of business. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THESE PEOPLE.!!
Tech came to fix tv 4 months ago he said tv wasn’t fixable and we would be contacted by Sears in 2-7 days. We waited two weeks and started calling. On over 10 attempts to reach sears the phone wait time was between 1 1/2 hrs to 4 hrs which I did Each person told me they were looking for a part. That took 2 1/2 months. Then I was passed on to the office that decides weather they will replace as per my Sears warranty. This woman was VERY rude and lied about everything. Finally after waiting. We were told they would pay us $500 for our high end $2500 Tv. I tried working with this woman for many weeks with no success we decided to accept $500. It is Oct 5 and still haven’t received check. I have purchased this Sears protection agreement for 30 yrs. I am disappointed frustrated and angry. SEARS DO ThE RIGHT THING. PAY ME
At the beginning of August, we contacted Sears Repair for our refrigerator the ice maker stopped making ice. A repair appointment was placed, and a tech was sent. It was determined that the icemaker was broken and needed to be replaced. The tech replaced the icemaker however the ice hopper/ dispenser had a crack. We decided to replace it he ordered a new unit for us. The old unit still worked we should not have any issue with making ice while we waited for the new unit, which by policy had to be installed by a tech. The old unit was use however we could not get ice the maker was not dropping ice into the hopper. I asked for a tech to come by and check the icemaker or the settings. The person that answered my call informed me that I had to wait for the scheduled time the tech was to come install the icemaker that was on order. I explained that the tech replaced the icemaker and checked that water was flowing to the icemaker. Once the water froze, I should get ice and since the original part still worked, I would have ice while I waited for the new part and installation. That did not happen we could not get ice. I was told by the person on the phone that I had to wait until the date scheduled for the tech to install the hopper which was weeks away. She insisted that he had to come replace the icemaker, which was already installed, and I have made payment for. We had to buy ice for more than a month and when the tech came and loaded the hopper, he was able to get the unit dropped ice that was in the system while he was here. That was the only time ice was produced we still must buy ice while I wait for another scheduled appointment which is still weeks away. I have used Sears service many times in the past it was my go-to if I had a broken appliance and the garage door for years. The service was prompt and if there was a need to make a return trip it was within a matter of days. This is highly unlike the previous service and not what I expected. I renewed the service contract paid for service and even had to pay for the service tech to put in the ice hopper, yet I have been without ice for months. Customer Service is not understanding, nor do they try to work with you. The customer service does not have a brain and cannot make common sense connections such as if the old hopper works and icemaker was repaired then there is a problem. Since I have paid for service and in two repair trips and another on the21th, I still have to buy ice, there is a need to make me a happy cuctomer…
The servicemen were very nice and my oven is finally fixed, but the time to get my oven fixed was intolerably long. The first visit was done on 10/25/19, and the replacement circuit board was ordered at that time. After about a month of not receiving the part due to it being back ordered, I requested that the monies I paid be refunded. Sure enough, the part was received within the next week. However, it turned out to be the wrong part, and did not fix the problem. So another different circuit board was ordered, but the part delivered at week later, was not a circuit board at all: It was a trim set for the oven. So we ordered the second circuit board again, and after about another 21 days of non-receipt, I was notified it was on back order and might not be available until Jan 9, 2020. When I called to complain again, and had to request an expedited delivery of the circuit board. It was finally received within a week of that call and finally installed on December 16th. I was told that it was delivered by a local vendor rather than the Sears warehouse, but they only looked for outside vendors when customers complained of problems with excessive delays. I think that more that 2 1/2 months waiting for my oven to be repaired during holiday season was intolerable. This is no way to run an appliance repair service and maintain customer loyalty.
The repair service is excellent. The time to get an appointment varies but at times is long. Most recently I was able to get two appliances repaired on one visit when all of the parts were on hand.Update: Latest repair service to a water softener went extremely well. Parts were ordered on the first visit. Parts were promptly delivered to the home and the repair completed a little over a week (holiday weekend included) later. Additionally called in for a washer repair and the initial wait is a much improved 3 working days.
I was doing my taxes
Our refrigerator stopped cooling and after some research we figured out it was probably the start relay. I tried to find it online, and they were very cheap, around $35. But I couldn’t get it faster than a week and I couldn’t go without a refrigerator for that long with kids. So we called Sears since that’s where it was from. They told me it would be $89 for a repair man to come out and that if we decided to go ahead with his suggested repair, the fee would go towards the cost. So the guy came and was very friendly. He looked at it for a couple minutes and determined that it might be the start relay as I had. He went to the truck and got a new one, then installed it on the unit. He confirmed that was it and it was cooling now. After that was done (took a total of 7 minutes) he asked me if I wanted to go ahead with the repair and that it would be $367. He said he felt bad about charging me that amount for how cheap the part was and that my handy husband could do it himself. But didn’t offer a different solution or discount on the $250 labor line item on the bill. And the repair was already done. Had I said no, would he have taken the part off of my refrigerator and not charged me for any labor (though there wasn’t much labor involved)? Feeling pressured because it was already done, I paid the amount. My husband was not happy when he got home. He called to see what Sears could do given how cheap the part was and how easy and fast the repair was, and they basically told him,”Oh well.” I definitely got taken advantage of and will never use Sears again. I suggest you don’t either unless you want to be ripped off.
Technician call before coming and arrived promptly at the scheduled time. I informed him that an electrician checked the breaker box, as recommended by the previous technician, and found no problems. After his assessment, it was determined that the timer knob wasnt working. He found one and tried it out and the dryer worked. He will have a permanent knob sent to me. I am satisfied with his findings.
I had a technician that was very courteous but told me a part was not covered under the extended warranty. This part had previously been replaced under the same warranty. After two days of calls to several Sears departments I found a person who said these parts were in fact covered. She assured me they would be shipped to me soon . The techs need to be full trained on item the extended warranty cover that people purchase. Ive been a sears customer for many years and own a good portion of items sears sells now or did in the past.
Good and quick service. Great prices on tires, friendly and informative staff always trying to help. Will come back
Experienced a water leak with a 40 gallon hot water tank from Kenmore. The number for warranty service on the tank takes you to Sears Appliance Repair. My tank was installed Oct 2013 approximately 2 years after a previous Kenmore tank failed.I was told I had to pay $99.0 for a service Rep to come out and approve the claim for a tank replacement .Rep came out and examined my tank, made a few calls to his office with my tanks serial number and model number. After maybe 20 minutes the service rep told me that I was covered and I would be contacted later in the day or first thing in the morning from another department on how to pick up a new tank for self install or a cost for them to install a new tank.Paid my $99.00 and waited for a call that never came in. Called back the service number and talked to an operator that said she would escalate my call to another department. I waited another day to find an 8 second message to call another number that I did.I was told the claim was denied .They baited me telling me my tank was covered then took my $99.00 then two days latter switched there story.Very disappointed with this company and will never use them again.
Call centers do not listen to you, just go through their questions, do not speak English well enough to understand, and are not trained so do not know enough to answer questions.Sears Home Service was fabulous, but money saving outsourcing to call centers just hastens their demise.
Your technician did a wrong diagnosis. He just opened the back cover and said there was sulfur. He said he called his supervisor and he did authorized him to do any thing. He just go and charged me for a quantity of $96.00. The day after I contacted an independent refrigerator repair technician and he tested the system and found that it simply that the compressor was broken. He changed the compressor and the refrigerator now is working.
We were not at all happy. We pay about $1000 a year for our maintenance contract, and they have always been good about fixing and/or replacing items. Our range hood separated at the seams and Sears said they wouldnt fix or replace it. Not at all happy. We may be looking for another company for our maintenance.
Easy to set up appointment, 4-hour window of time. Technician arrived on time, and was very pleasant, helpful, and did a great job. Technician was very knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Im not sure that the fridge we chose functions all that well (portions of the fridge are either too warm or too cold) but the service was excellent.
Our service technician, Forest was outstanding. He showed up on time, and did an excellent job of fixing our Dishwasher. Would recommend him to anyone... tks. Glenn
It would be 5 stars if the wrong part hadnt been shipped. The service technician was excellent though, and I like the automated updates you can sign up to receive via text and email. Which let you view the eta and location of the technician in real time on the website. Will use again.
My Gas Dryer was hot heating up. I called Sears Appliance Repair at 10am and the technician arrived within 4 hours. He did a diagnostic and explained to me what was wrong with the dryer. It was a bad fuse. It was probably something I could have done myself but Im not a technical person and Id rather have an expert do it. The technician was done in less than an hour. My dryer is now working and heating up much faster. Im very pleased with the service!
Very disappointing. I scheduled repair for a refrigerator. Agreed to the $99 diagnostics fee, as explained by the customer service agent, expecting that the subsequent repair charge would be based upon additional parts and labor. The repair man arrived and quickly determined the problem, a blocked drain plug. The bill, a cool $299. Even with the 20% discount that was circulating online, the charge was $240; for about 1 hours work, and no parts. At that point, I was already saddled with the diagnostics fee, so what else was I to do than accept this grossly inflated charge.I sought-out Sears Repair because I expected them to uphold the same level of ethics and customer service as their retail store. My mistake. Id strongly recommend steering clear of Sears Repair and, instead, look on Angies list for a reasonable contractor.
Frank was prompt (even a little early) and very professional. He explained all of our options. A great repair service.
I paid the extended warranty for my Appliances called Sears because the shelf on my refrigerator door shatter completely, I told them that if they send me the parts I can replace them because it’s not a big deal but they make the tech came to my house on June 19 technician says he was going to order the parts and I should receive them within 10 business days...today is August 26 and I still waiting for it, I have to call Sears home several times And they always say “I ordered the parts for you” but I still haven’t receive anything.
Technicians were prompt, called and assessed repair succinctly. They were able to fix the issue since they had the parts in their truck. It was a very good experience and I was glad to see competent and professional technicians come to my house! Excellent job, Veronica
The technician was very courteous and quick to diagnose the problem, and he clearly explained the work that the unit needed. Once we decided to move forward with the repair, he tackled cleaning out the whole underside of the unit and replacing a couple of parts. He was quick, thorough and left the work area clean. I was very pleased with the service.
Mike did a wonderful job fixing my riding mower. He let me know what was wrong & when he had finished the job. I couldnt have asked for a better service then what he did. Glad to be able to use my mower again. Thanks again Mike. 😊
The tech was fantastic, with a very nice personality. He explained everything he was doing as he went along. He had the dishwasher issue fixed in under an hour. This was my first time using this service and I was very satisfied.
The technician called first, came on time, was very polite and professional. While he had the dryer taken apart he cleaned and lubricated everything so the dryer runs like new. Very satisfied!
Excellent service and outstanding guidance was provided by our service rep. Thank you for making this a seamless and expeditious process. Our A/C was back online and cooler than ever in an hour and a half.Sincerely,Timothy Sills
I was very pleased with the arrival first thing in the morning,8 am. He quickly found the problem and fixed it, explained what was happening so I could take better care of mower. Also, had recommendations for future repairs that will be necessary. Jim was very helpful and competent .Thanks Jim.
This group was on time, fixed my washer and the price was very fair. Same day service.
The Sears Technicians were great and once the parts arrived fixed the freezer, taking very little time to complete the task and get the freezer working again,,,, But I would only give the parts group one star,,, It took way to long for them to get the parts delivered and because of that I lost all my husbands deer meat and many many other items,,,, The loss was significant higher than the allowance Sears provides. There was no sense of urgency to get the parts delivered. You would think for a refrigerator or a freezer they would have attempted to get the parts delivered immediately,,,, I know the Sears technician was ready and willing to complete the repairs the following day if he could have gotten the parts,,
Superb service and attention to detail. The repairmen were competent, courteous and went the extra mile.
Since you want me to rate you on my Service request, i will do so as you had an awesome Service gentleman. He called, arrived on time, very courteous and respectful, patient and took the time to look at my grill and and showed me what the issue was.On the same note i want to acknowledge the Manager at the Branndon Mall (so sorry I do not remember her name) who totally took control of my previous issues (OMFG) the the grill I ordered on-line and totally corrected it for me. I would like to acknowledge them both.
100% satisfied. Technician came within two hours of my call, was clean, polite and professional, had the part on his truck, made the repair quickly and efficiently. An A+ service experience.
This was the fourth or fifth visit for this round (Im not counting previous rounds). The repair tech is nice but the hassle is incredible. After waiting for parts (again), for more than a week (again), the tech didnt even use them! They are sitting here. The washer is working (for the moment) but we must start/stop it two or three times because we get an F1 error code. No wonder Sears is going bankrupt. They should have just given us a new washed a couple of years ago. Saved them money and us a lot of hassle.
Refrigerator repair service - The technician was extremely knowledgeable, efficient and professional. Sears’ customer service and reliable product/work is still true in today’s world. Keep it up!
Not good. Disappointed by Sears deal. Recently Sears appliances Red below per. I have new refrigerator and dishwasher. They are terrible. Dishwasher is worst. Need to replace. Does not work. Water and stains remain. Service is not up to the dtandard.
I called for a routine maintenance work under my protection plan. The technician found that the need called for more than maintenance. He arranged to get a repairman come within hours. Both workers were courteous, timely, knowledgeable and helpful, I will use their service again.May God bless them. As Jesus repairs and saves broken hearts and lost souls (John 3:16), may they and you accept Jesus as their Savior as He is mine.
We are still waiting for our oven to be repaired. First the repairman came out on April 19 and told us that he could not repair our year old Samsung stove and that we needed a new circuit board and cord. He took all the information about our stove including the model and serial number and ordered us a new circuit board and cord. We received our new cord in the mail within 3-4 days but then received a phone call telling us that the circuit board was not available for our stove. We were told that we would be getting a call in 3-4 days with an authorization code to take to Sears to get a new stove. After waiting 5 days we called to find out what was happening concerning our stove, we were then told that she would check into it and call us back but that we would have to wait a minimum of 21 days before we could get that authorization for a new stove . She didnt call us back. Today, we got an email about a service call scheduled for Friday, May 6. when we called we were told that the repairman needed to come back out to get the model & serial number from our stove and basically we were starting from scratch. Meanwhile, it is going on three weeks and we are still without our stove.Ironically, on May 1, I received an email from Sears celebrating my 30 years as a Sears cardholder. In that email, I was told how much Sears appreciated my loyalty, patronage and ongoing support and that they looked forward to sharing many more exciting shopping years. I must say thing is everything! Please repair or replace my stove ASAP.Frank H. Roder, a frustrated longtime Sears customer
Arrived at the earliest expected time frame given. He was courteous, professional and repaired the lawn tractor quickly. Id rate the service as excellent in every way.
Great technicians showed up, very personable and professional. All very knowledgeable and arrived within the time frames suggested for the appointment. Ordered parts locally which allowed repairs to be completed on same day by having them shipped directly to the house.
I have received repair services from Sears on many occasions. Tim is always courteous and professional. He knows his business and I have never had to call him twice for the same problem
John Johnson was excellent.Clearly an expert at his craft and top notch customer care.Best service call in a very long time.
Carl was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you!
The service was great. Called in the morning and before lunch the tech arrived and had me back up and running in less than time than you can say jack rabbit. Great job at a fair price.
Old posting would not cancel. The first repairman who came was not helpful and delayed to order the wrong part. The repairman who came a week later was very helpful and re-diagnosed the problem and took care of it very quickly. I was very pleased and am sorry I did not get his name
This is the 3rd time the Sears Repair team has come out to fix our dryers FD80C alert. Each time they claim to fix it and within 6 hrs of their departure the warning is back. Truthfully frustrated in that they charge for each time they come out. The repair people are pleasant and courteous. Just not knowledgeable.
I had my washer serviced, and my dryer fixed. Excellent service tech. Polite, quick, intelligent, a true credit to Sears.
Great service on time, the tech. was very nice. Had to waite 3 weeks for him to get here, not enough techs to work the area. But once it happened it was very well done.!!
My GE Washer has had many problems, techs came out many times and finally I was told I needed to have it replaced (not worth fixing any longer). I had no problems with my previous warranty repairs as the scheduling is professional, they send emails and provide call updates right up to minutes before the tech arrives. LOVE SEARS WARRANTY PROTECTION FOR APPLIANCES!!!SO WORTH IT.
Service was perfect, even explain how to and how to not operate the machine.
Helpful and knowledgeable technician arrived the very next day after my call and had things right in a presto amount of time!
This was a horrible experience. My refrigerator stopped working on Monday and it was not properly fixed until Thursday including waiting twice for repair technicians. I called first thing Monday morning and they were unable to come out until Tuesday between 8 & noon. They arrived at 11:30 and did not have it fixed until 2:30. At 4:55 I realized that it was not cooling, so I spent 45 minutes on the phone trying to get the technician to return. I received no call back as promised that night. On Wednesday morning I called again and was told that no one could come out until Thursday even though they had not done their job properly. Ultimately, the second technician figure out that it was a different part that needed to be replaced. I gave them 2 stars only because the second technician was really good. This was a nightmare and having to go through an offshore call center, waiting on hold and not getting good service made this a very poor experience.
No happy with the handyman they send me to do the work start complain before he seed the work and left and dont may water heater work because is to old and be out of the house. The problem was one of part they replaced last time was not good I went to home Depot bay new one now is good.,that gay need go back take more classes about water heaterThank you for asking
The service was great. He was good and was able to give me information about my the unit. Thanks
Excellent service will use you again, thanks
The contractor fixed the dishwasher, so we thought. It started shutting down after he left. We have been trying to call him for weeks and he wont return our calls. He finally did but we had already spoken to Sears and said we wanted a Sears repairman to come not a contractor. So, today is Jan. 16th 2016 and we have been without a dishwasher since Dec. 13 2015. Christmas was real fun doing all the dishes by hand.Im so horrified by the service we have received. We have been lied to by several Sears employees. Particularly Ebony who promised us more than once she would personally handle the case. She did not. I will never purchase another item at Sears and I will never recommend them to anyone. My grandmother was a corporate secretary for Sears a long time ago. So, my family has always been a Sears customer. No longer!I want to add that we have an extended service contract with Sears so we are at their mercy.Elizabeth S. Wessel
Honest, punctual and professional. tractor running great
Smooth and easy washer and dryer tuneup... They gave me a window for when they would arrive.... They called ahead of time... completed the job... all good!
The service itself was fine. The technician was friendly and worked quickly. Earlier in the day - around noon, I used the website to book the service with a 2-6pm window. The technician arrived around 4:30, just as I had gotten back from picking up my son, plus several neighbor kids from the bus stop. So I had 5 kids running around that I was preparing after school snacks for, plus an infant to care for and in all the craziness, I forgot to give him the coupon that I had printed from the website when I booked the appointment earlier that day.So, I immediately called the 800 number from the website and was told there was nothing they could do, but she could call the technician and see if he would be willing to come back out and do the coupon. At this point, he had been gone MAYBE 10 minutes. No call from the technician. So, I texted the number he called me from to confirm my appt time, with a picture of the coupon. Nothing. I messaged Sears on social media. NOTHING. So, now for me - its less about the actual coupon and more about the complete lack of customer service and zero communication. But, is the coupon really that much of an inconvenience for them to turn around and take care of it real quick? I understand that it was a Friday evening - so maybe thats why the technician decided to completely ignore me and the request....Ive used Sears repair services in the past, and was satisfied with the service and had planned to use them again if I needed it - but this experience has soured me and not only will I not be using them again - but I will discourage others as well.If you dont want customers to use a coupon - then dont place it so prominently on your website....
Repairs were done the same day! The technicians called around and got the parts they needed and It is working perfectly! Very professional, curteous!
Making repair appointment on phone was quick and easy. Repairman called to let us know when he was on his way. The problem with our refrigerator was found and repaired quickly.
Very satisfied with complicated repair on dishwasher. The technician was courteous and obviously knew what he was doing.
My refriderator was fixed.... The appointment was set up quickly, the tech came out and ordered the part and it took another week to get the part and fix it. The only downside .... the tech wasnt very nice.
Great service guy. He is very professional and explains everything so you can understand whats going on and be at ease with the repairs.
The repair was done thoroughly and professionally. The repairman was timely and extremely informative hroughout his visit.
Justin was very professional and knowledgeable and got to the bottom of the problem and fixed it very fast.
Terrible. Repair guy had to reschedule the day he was supposed to come by. Came late on the second day. Told me my washing machine had a bad motor and it would be $600 to replace. I asked him what model the motor was and he said he couldn’t tell me since he closed the “system” out. Waste of $89.
I was surprisingly impressed with SEARS service. My dishwasher broke and they were able to come out the same day and fix it, and it didnt cost an arm and a leg.
My technician was friendly and professional. He was thorough with the repair. My dishwasher is back to working excellent!
John always does a super job. hope you dont lose him as a service man.
Very happy with the service I received.
The service person was fine but I am extremely disappointed that I am having this trouble with such a new machine in the first place. This is the second time the door lock has had to be replaced and this time the control panel as well. I have come to find out that you are not using new parts on this warranty work either. These replacement parts are refurbished? Give me a break. If anything else goes wrong with this machine, you can bring your truck and take it back. I will never buy another LG product.
This the second tech in 10 years that told me the Sears maintenance agreement does not cover cleaning the coils. I asked that they never send this tech back to my house. My $2000 plus thermostat was snug on the wall and did not move before he came to my house now it shakes when you touch it. I also had to reschedule an appt. to have the maintenance done since he thought he did not have to do that. He did get the air going again. I have an infinity system and would not recommend it to my worse enemy. Breaks done every summer. I feel like Sears is partly to blame went 4 years having supposed maintenance done and no one had cleaned the coils. It was so bad they had to remove the coils to clean them. That tech actually tried to give me a huge bill to do that. I dont think so. I am putting this in writing because if something happens to my thermostat they will replace it even though the tech said they never do that. That is crazy that runs the entire unit. learned my lesson on buying the top of the line product. Wont do it again. The coils are the one of the most important parts of your air conditioner and keeping it running smoothly. So DUH Sears.
Terrible service, terrible treatment. Technician didnt have parts to fix the problem so had to schedule a second day. On the second day the technician arrived well after the 10-2 window. He never apologized for being late. When I called the 1-800 number they did not speak good english to understand my complaint. Once transferred to someone who could speak english, he also never apologized for the poor service. When I completed email review they called and the woman was more interested in justifying why everything happened the way that it did. She only finally apologized once I said I was not interested in excuses. Never use this company! No one cares about you!
Always professional and helpful service from making appointments to the service of our appliances. The technicians sent are professional and highly skilled.
I took my car on 12/04/15 for a long distance drive check, the profession who looked at my car told me I have an oil leak and he is not sure how I made it to SEARS because theres no oil in my engine. I asked the man to show me the leak, him and his co-workers were stocked when I requested to see the leak. I went under the car but they were no signs of any type of holes or cracks in my engine. I also asked him to show me the oil dip stick and when he did the engine had the right amount of oil. When I got home I opened the top of the car, looked inside to see if they may have done anything else to my car, Apparently the professions at sears spilled alot of oil, I wiped the oil took a drive, opened the top of the car again, looked inside and theres NO trace of oil leak. Customers be careful with SEARS mechanic on Fowler Ave Tampa or any mechanics. SEARS profession lied to me, my car is perfectly fine.
I first called for repair on my dishwasher mid January. It was leaking water. It soaked my cabinetry and flowed in to my family room soaking the carpet. I was told the service techs were really busy and it would be a week until a technician would be at our house. Dakota came to our house and identified the problem. Parts had to be ordered. It would be ten days until there was another tech appt. available. Parts arrived in four days. I tried for an earlier appt. since the parts were available but was told they were really busy and an earlier appt. was unavailable. Dakota came back at the appointed time. He installed the new parts but found a new problem. More parts to order. Another ten days to wait. Dakota returns and supposedly the dishwasher is now fixed. This is just the latest in multiple repairs required of this dishwasher. A month this time to get it corrected. A month of handwashing the dishes for a family of 7. A month of waiting because the technicians are too busy. When I purchased the service agreement I expected TIMELY service. I will not purchase another Sears appliance after my experience with this one. I have to question the quality of a brand of appliances that break so frequently that the technicians stay so busy it takes a month to complete a repair.
Technician did a thorough job and made calls to be sure work was covered under warranty!
Paul the AC tech was on time courteous professional and extremely knowledgeable. Replaced my compressor by himself with in 2 hours I was cool again!
I was out of air conditioner for 9 days at 90 degree heat, the part was odered and I call to get it put on the next day all I got was iam sorry, as far as the technician they all was great. Ive used sears for years and I love their products but when there is a valid emergency they need to respond more quickly.
The technician - Forrest was very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of useful tips. This was a great experience!
The guy who came out did a great job and he was curtious and attentive. But my overall experience with Sears was horrible and I am still dealing with them. It took Sears close to 3 weeks to get our dryer repaired. And I have called 5 times now to have the old parts picked up but no one has come. I even have a large part from a year ago Im still trying to get rid of. These boxes have the old parts post repair. Two 50 dollar gift cards were supposed to be processed and sent to me for all the hassle and stress Sears put me through. They still have not arrived and no one that I talk to can seem to guarantee things will get done or communicate effectively with other departments to get things done! I am beyond frustrated.
The performance of the service was excellent! The only problem was that I received a call from Sears saying the service provider was on the way around 8AM, which was inaccurate, since he was not able to come until around 10:30AM. The Sears communication method was faulty, not the provider.
The repair was completed efficiently however there was a bit of a mix-up with the person that took my request for repair service as to whether I was still under contract. I said I was she said I wasnt and the repair technician said I was. I was charged for the replacement parts and Im still trying to get my money back. Very frustrating.
Mike did a terrific job on the maintenance of our appliances/treadmill and was very professional
Vegetables were freezing. The tech put a new thermostat on the drawer. Now the vegetables are staying fresh.
The service technician was professional and courteous and completed the job in a timely manner.
Sears serviceman was frendly, very knowledgeable and professional. Answered all my questions, Very, very satisfied with repair.
I couldnt have been more pleased with the work that was done. They sent two guys to work on it and both worked really hard to fix the problem. Great job.
Great service man and jobs done well. Many thanks.
Highly skilled and professional Service Technician. On time, successful troubleshooting and he gave a good explanation of the problem. Issue solved in 20 Mins. (MOL).
The repairman was on time, friendly, clean and efficient. Excellent experience!
Very disappointed with the whole process. I made the mistake of purchasing an induction stove. First technician told me you need to re-boot it like a computer. He did nothing. Second technician said the board was burnt up. Ordered the part and had to call again to get someone to come install. Another technician came to install the burnt board, but was unable to stop the stove from turning off at 400 degrees. He told me to call an electrician. electrician found the problem in less than 1 minute. The connection for thr stove at the breaker box was loose. So, many meals over cooked or under cooked were thrown away in a 6 month period. ( this included a Prime Rib Poast that cost almost $95.00). Very frustrated and disappointed.
