I have been living here at these apartments for over a year now. The front office staff have been very communicative, friendly, and responsive if any issues were to arise. The Office Manager, Barry, has always been present throughout this apartment community and makes the area stay safe and family oriented. As I have read some of these reviews from the past, the maintenance men here do respond to maintenance requests quickly. I enjoy my spacious two-bedroom, 1-bath apartment and the community overall.

Honest Review:The Management has been trying to upgrade for the longest now, but its a slow process. People jump the pool all the time in large groups of people from who knows where.There have been shots fired.Cockroaches...we collect so many carcases of roaches its disturbing.There are deputies called out to clear up noise complaints on many nights. The Gym has not been open, Im not even sure if the pool is open?The neighborhood is a solid NO.We pay so much and all in all...were looking for a way out...sigh.Management tries but you cant upgrade the people with paint and stucco.I Give a 3 because they try if not a 2 because at least the deputies come out and youre not homeless...then again you may have a better experience being so.The people though... the noise...not worth the living experience...NOT the best place to raise a family.Its sad to say but we live in the ghetto where peoples inconsiderate ways truly affect your livelihood and violates your human rights.Theres got to be a better way to life and this here is not it!TRUST ME...READY TO MOVE OUT RIGHT NOW...lease hurry up and finish.I Dont care if we have to pay more as soon as its possible we are out of here!

I have been here two years. I love the staff! They have been nothing but helpful and accommodating. Even maintenance are friendly. Im glad to be here with all of the renovations and changing of the name. I love the new taller and efficient toilets that were put in! I had roaches try to come in with a new neighbor, but we have free pest control and just have to let them know. I hope they can turn a spot in the back into a neighborhood garden with all of the upgrades. The new playground and tennis court looks great! Only problem is the pools. I love in the rear of the complex and for it safety its not been open due to renovations needed. But people dont care and sneak in instead of using the beautiful pool in the front. Now they have to wait for repairs for that because again, instead of respecting the fact that a hurricane was coming, they broke in the pool and tore it up Im excited with the Hub to receive packages now. Just cant wait until the gates are finished. This place allows you to pay rent online. They also email us with updates and important news. My only regret is that I have to move when my lease is up to something closer to my job because the commute is tiring. Id renew if I could! There is more that I didnt even get to like the clubhouse and cute laundry rooms! This updated complex is a definite plus for the plans and changes for the University area.

Hey my name is Octavia and I lived here at The Bahia for 2 years. I just moved out March 31st. Honestly it’s a great place to live and the only reason I moved is because of my neighbors which is out of the office control. It’s a personal thing. The maintenance always showed up when I put in work requests and the ladies in the front office were always respectful to me and super friendly, THE BEST I’ve ever experienced at any complex and that’s not for show! They do their job WELL. The manager Barry is great as well, I can honestly say I’ve also never met a manager as friendly and hands on as he is. Maybe it’s because he’s not from Florida lol. He SHOWS concern with the property, people and making things as comfortable as possible for residents.I’ve only had an issue once with plumbing and that was taken care of right away and the issue never happened again. I lived in a 2/2 which is a great size and very affordable. My reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is because of the remodeling. Which caused the pools to be closed and the gym. That sucked. Other than that I’d recommend The Bahia to anyone that’s looking for a new place to call home. Don’t hesitate to apply.

Please find other arrangements.I scheduled a tour for 11AM on a Saturday and when I got there, no one was in the office. After waiting around for about 20 minutes to see if anyone would show up, I left. At about 11:55, I decided to call back to see if anyone had shown up, and to my surprise, someone actually answered the phone. Im not sure who I spoke with but she gave some ridiculous excuse about stepping out to pass out notices to tenants. I asked, Why would you leave the office if you know you have an appointment coming in? Anyway, we ended up rescheduling for 1PM.I returned at 1PM to tour an available unit and was immediately disappointed with the viewing. I dont know how they do it but the photographer they use must also moonlight as a magician. The unit I was allowed to view was a tragedy in and of itself. Some things were just my own personal preference. But I do think that a paint job that doesnt look like it was done by the staffs family and even floors are a bare minimum requirement.The property doesnt look anything like the pictures on the website nor the pictures I received via email. So if you can, Id highly recommend taking a drive through the property yourself.I was also able to talk to a really nice couple who were also there for an 11AM tour and I hope they found another place.

I just moved in with my roommate about 4 months ago and The Bahia Team has been nothing but kind and accommodating for us! Although it does make it difficult (due to Covid) to get in contact with them sometimes there has never been an issue that lasted longer than a day or two. They have done nothing but make us feel comfortable. I love the neighborhood and how family oriented it feels!

I live in this apartment for almost 2 years 1/2. I never had any problems with maintenance or anything else they are very an understand staff. They have some complex apartment you can never get in contact with the manager but at Bahia whenever you want to go the office you are always welcome. Whenever you call for any inconveniences the maintenance team always available and friendly. Please guys stop posting bad comments about the Apartment its not fair. Its a good place to live in.

I made an application and lost money. I’ve been trying to contact them for more than ten days, calling at least twice a day. Before I submitted an application they were very communicative but after they got my money I didn’t get one answer. I showed up at the apartment complex twice but both times the office door was locked an no one would answer when I knocked even though there was clearly someone sitting in the front desk. Do not apply for these apartments. It was a giant scam.

Update: My lighting fixture is dripping. Yep. The ceiling is literally dripping with water through an electrical fixture. I live on the first floor and regret this decision. The people above me sound like they are running a meth lab and bowling at the same time. I thought they were moving out or in because it sounded like furniture moving and being dropped at every time of the day.When I addressed the issue with them directly, he said no one cares and I couldnt agree more with his take on the state of things here at the Bahia! Onto the lovely move in process.2) The pictures on the website are deceptive. They dont mention they have Trash Mountain! A truly exciting feature! The website says live like youre on vacation. Well, youre in for a treat. World record for largest trash pile.I was moving remotely but the property managers assured me the apartment would be in excellent condition upon move in. Here are the first things I noticed when I walked in on move in day (3 of which are VIOLATIONS OF TENANT RIGHTS, guess which ones!):1) There was black mold around the bedroom window.2) Bathroom sink drain clogged.3) Both the shower and bathroom sink water was the color of rust. Another feature of the lovely Bahia vacation retreat. I ran the water for 30 minutes until it finally became clear.4) Windows were painted shut.5) No rod to hang my clothes in the closet.6) No towel rod.7) Sloppy, ugly paint job with paint splatter on the windows.This was all after countless assurances that the place would be clean and inhabitable. Well, I have only been here for 5 days and I am already crawling out of my skin with the constant noise, the rude people, and the condition of the apartment. I am scared to take a shower. This is truly a neverending vacation!Do not listen to any reviews that speak well of the property management team. They dont answer their phone, they dont prioritize immediate concerns (I almost wouldnt have had my keys on time if I hadnt called 5 times), they deceived me into thinking I would be safe, comfortable, and at home with repeated verbal assurances, yet the negligence and degradation is all there. Cant wait to find another place and to report them to housing authority. People have a right to live decently.But you know, thanks for taking my 1k a month and putting four walls around me. I guess its better than a cardboard box.Also, property management, if you are reading this, SPARE US THE WRITTEN RESPONSE TO THESE REVIEWS. I know you wrote those 5 star reviews on your own website and youre just trying to save face for your own negligence. How about less image management and more REAL management? So Nicole was a huge helping moving in. The Maintenance staff really has your back here when it comes to repairs an I appreciate that. Some issues with the appliances I had at first move-in is what kept me from giving this place a 5 star rating.

I’ve lived here for about 6 months now. I’ve never had any issues. Maintenance is really fast with fulfilling maintenance requests. Management has also made recent upgrades to the stairs and doors which have made the experience even nicer. I would recommend living here

The buildings are falling apart around us and no one cares unsanitary unsafe conditions for me and my children.

Pros:Cons: destructive mold, roaches/bugs in every room, garbage all over the grass, no valet trash pickup despite the $20/month fee, dumpsters always overflowing and surrounded by vultures, apartment was not cleaned before move-in

Great place to live, moved here in March have no issues. Staff is great and property is under renovations which will make the place even better. Comfortable apartments and peaceful.

It took me 3 weeks to get a smoke detector, garbage disposal, and dish washer fixed when I reported it move in. Garbage area was over flowing into the parking lot for weeks. TheGM had the attitude that I owe them something. Ive been to the office a couple times, because I could never get anyone on the phone (voice mail is always full). The staff ignores the phone

Ive enjoyed living here for the past year. Out neighborhood is very quiet and friendly. The staff is also helpful. When there was a maintenance request, the staff was quick to respond. I look forward to the improvements thst they are done NG especially the new gym.

DO NOT BELIEVE THE 4 STAR RATING! It got under new management and they posted their own new 5 star reviews, but in reality NOTHING HAS CHANGED! My sister has lived here for a couple of years and has always had issues due to maintenance not fixing anything and management does not care for the health or safety of its residents. One of the many recurring issues she has been having is living with sewer water. Yup. SEWER WATER. For the past 6 months her toilet and bathroom have been leaking and flooding her apartment to the point of getting at least a couple of inches of the sewer water in the bathroom floor all the way to the bedroom beside the bathroom. The office takes days to reply and even acknowledge this issue, doesnt answer the phone, and the emergency maintenance does NOT work! The efforts that the property has taken to resolve these maintenance issues is to just dry the carpet and fix the plumbing which then leaks all over again the next day. I know other properties who have taken more action for less maintenance issues. This property refuses to transfer her to a new apartment, refuses to believe there is an issue, and refuses to put the safety of their residents above their own corporate greed. It is honestly disgusting to think that an apartment complex would even allow an issue like this to go on for more than 1 day because its unsanitary, unhealthy, and unprofessional but here we are 6 months later and now the apartment has mold. If youre reading this, please do not move here and risk your health! Stay far away from this place!

Just moved in today, the apartment is ok . Pictures were bigger than going to the apartment in person .. bedroom is extremely small for a one bedroom .. other than that living room spacey an kitchen is nice..the people who work at the front desk are super communicative if you every have a problem they answer and fix the solution within the hour . But other than that no problem what so ever

I have lived here for a month now and the community is awesome. The apartments are spacious and nice on the inside and out. The neighborhood is quiet and my neighbors are friendly. I filed a maintenance request and it was resolved in 2 hours or less! The amenities look great! I will probably live here until I decide to get a house.

Please do not rent apartments here the management does not care about People Who lives here, I have lived here for 5 years and had never had any kind of problem with neighbors, but for 7 months ago we have had terrible neighbors who have music extremely loud all 8 days of the week, they always have guests who park their cars here (from people who dont live in the complex) and we never have space and we always have to park in another building, they keep the building disgusting and we start to get flies, even them They live on the first floor and are always sitting on the stairs keeping them dirty and leaving food scraps, all the neighbors have complained countless times, but the management doesnt really care, its a very sad situation.

I’ve Been Here Since April & It Has Been Rocky Due To COVID and things got pushed around and I can definitely Say MY APARTMENT MANAGEMENT TEAM Has Been GREAT To Me Thru It All . I Really Appreciate Them ALL I Love The Maintenance I Call Nicole And Put A Request And They Come Right Away And If Any Issue I Could Always Call Back And They’ll Keep Sending Untill It’s Correct. Very Good Nice Quite Apartments To Live In .

Stay away from this apartment. The management sucks. Their washer and dryers never worked. The complex is old, so everything in the apartment is always breaking apart. And when you call for maintenance, they will not pick up. And if they do, it will take them forever to come fix it. Don’t let the great location of the apartment deceive you. Stay away.

I hate to have to move but they raised the units a little too much for my budget. Other wise I would’ve stay longer is close to everything the location is great

[Update]: I actually tried calling the office many times, as well as scheduling appointments but I never got anything more than an automated email reply. So Do Not tell me to call your office. I lived here for about almost two years. I did have some beginning issues, but with every issues I have. They were fixed right away. The staff is very friendly. and easygoing. And the new renovations to the property is really making this place all the more beautiful. Would definitely recommend a friend to live here.

I am a college student and this is a great place in my opinion for anyone looking to get out of the nest and to have their own space. The employees are all helpful and friendly, the space is clean, safe, and easily accessible to all consumer necessities whether it be by foot or by vehicle. Highly recommend.

Just moved in. It is a great place to live. They have two swimming pools, tennis court, playground, laundry facility, clubhouse, and even an amazon hub. Units are renovated and there is barely any road noise even though it’s on a busier road.

They promise in the website functioning amenities such as pool, gym, laundry room, and playground. But truth is we havent been able to use the pool or gym for 7 months of being here. They tell you they are actively working on the closed amenities but arent. We have been here for the last 7 months and its been nothing but a run around scam! They have trash scattered all throughout the complex not to mention the broken glass I had to keep notifying them about on the playground that they didnt want to do anything about. They have gates at the front but people come in all the time bc the gates do not work. They promise the highest quality of living but they just like to use fancy wording to smooth all the problems over. Not to mention they change the price on the lease agreement without notifying you. The only thing good about this place is the location that is it. Dont not rent from here.

The Bahia is a very nice place to live. The people who work in the office all the way to the maintenance people are very kind and helpful. Whenever you have questions they will answer them wether they be simple or complex. This is my first time living away from home and it definitely feels like home. It is also super close to USF Tampa.
