I had one of the best experiences at this dentist office, I was suggested to visit this office after having a not so good of experience on another office, they have been so helpful, very friendly, attentive to details which is what I appreciate coming from a customer service career, they explained what I need to get done in baby steps so I wont get lost during the process, took a picture of the front because Dr Sorroza has been really helpful. came here for a root canal and while waiting for the permanent one to get ready I had a temporary one install and a week later it fell off, they right away moved me up to come in and get another temp install. this is the kind of service customers look for and how they build relationships with businesses, strongly recommend this place, this review is as of 7/25/21

Melany Barrios the front desk supervisor is a fresh of breath air, when it comes to patient, need/customer service. She listened to my concern and my needs in solving a front desk issue and she executed the final outcome, without an ounce of stress on my part. She was professional, kept in communication with me outside the office, in regards to my issue and made me extremely happy, with a concrete solution! She Rocks! I think she is strong and an important asset to TLC. She should be promoted to Head Manager!!!

I certainly never thought I would be writing a review of a dental firm!! However, my recent experiences demand me to do so. TLC Dental has numerous locations in South Florida and I was referred by a friend. As I lived in Tamarac, I naturally chose their office in that city. I knew I needed work that might require a crown, an implant or possibility a bridge.From the beginning, the entire staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. As I continued my visits, I would meet with and get to know my dentist, Dr. Sorroza and Dr. Fisher, my oral surgeon. Both were amazing and again, like the staff, they were friendly, knowledgeable and in addition, pleasantly professional.As the health profession nationwide still requires, masks and temperature checks are necessary at check-in. It is my opinion that it is still the proper and correct things to do during a global pandemic. Through my numerous visits, I got to know some of the office staff…like Laura and Melany quite well. Laura is the office manager while Melany is the office supervisor. Both are excellent in their positions, always friendly and always looking to be helpful. Clearly TLC Dental chooses their staff members wisely!Simply put, I could not have had a better experience and I will gladly now become a “seasoned subject” willingly more than happy to refer others to TLC Dental and the success I had there.

I love TLC Dental! My son, my boyfriend and I all go to them. From the front desk staff to the dentist themselves, they are all so nice. Kristyn is who I always ask to see for my cleanings, she is an amazing hygienist! She is very gentle and sweet and has taken great care of my family and I for years. I came into this office in excruciating pain, hoping to get some answers or help, not only was I given wrong information, my insurance covers 100% of wisdom tooth extractions yet they wanted to charge me 712.00 for meds associated with extracting the tooth, after calling my insurance I found out that was a huge over charge.. I did not need to be put to sleep, local anesthesia is fine yet the nurse (male) made me scared half to death to do it. This is definitely a very shady atmosphere and I would not recommend to ANYONE.. I ended up going to Dr. Carlo E Guevara I must say, not only was he thorough with the explanations and i only paid a whopping $230.00 for 2 extractions with my laughing gas and regular anesthesia ( all I needed) and the office was definitely more comfortable and 100% clean opposed to when I was quoted 712.00 by Dr. Fisher and his team at TLC and going into their dirty dental rooms... I’ve never seen anything like this and I will be ensuring NO ONE I KNOW ever sets foot inside this office not any of their locations!!!

I saw Kristyn, RDH for my deep cleaning. She removed my tea and coffee stains on my 2 front teeth and became my best friend (we’ve never met before)! I’m so thankful. But here’s the thing, she was gentle, efficient, and she relaxed me multiple times by informing me that her tools were not needles lol.A little background info, I haven’t had a cleaning since 2016. That’s about 5 years. I am the biggest chicken when it comes to the dentist.Thank you new best friend Kristyn, see you again in a few short months. 🎉

Dantal care was ok but they had no way to make a payment for services online. we are in the 21st century. maybe their webste should catch up with the rest of the world. there is also no way to change your address online so bills go to old addresses

I had my first visit here today and may I say I was beyond nervous and scared. Everything from the call to the office visit was AMAZING. They made me so comfortable. To be honest Im am so happy I found these people... it was a no judgment zone and I really appreciate them for that. I have been going to this office since the original practice was there. It was bought out by TLC and my experience has always been positive. Unlike other places that over treat they tell you exactly what it is that you need and treat accordingly. I feel that they are honest in their business dealings and they do a good job. This is why I will stick to them for many years to come.

I have been a regular patient at this office since 2009. I just had a Deep cleaning job yesterday and my Dental Hygienist did an amazing cleaning job on my teeth. Elizabeth Guevara! Is her name. She was very professional and friendly and i did not feel any pain through the procedure. I was very relaxed. I love the staff and they are all great. They treat you like family. They have been my family since 2009. Elizabeth and Victoria Torres are awesome. Victoria is the Office manager. I highly recommend them to anyone in search of a dental home.

This place is a complete RIP-OFF. They will attempt to charge you unnecessary fees. They are scammers at best. They refused to send pre-treatment fees to me. Only after I completed the first part of my treatment they attempted to overcharge me. Thankfully, I was aware of all my copays and had my documents on hand. However, for the unassuming they will surely take advantage.

There was a time when people made jokes about going to the dentist and they werent funny. However, our trip(s) to TLC are ALWAYS great! When someone cleans your teeth who is relaxed and happy it is hard to not, should I say, enjoy it? People entering and leaving seem relaxed and healthy. A wonderful atmosphere, terrific people who really seem to enjoy their jobs and do it well, and the benefit of a clean and healthy mouth. Caring is easy when those administering the care really care. Dr.Jacobson and his staff exceeded my expectations. The professional consultation and explanation of future dental procedure by Dr.Jacobson made me very comfortable. From the minute I walked in to TLC Dental, I felt so welcomed and appreciated that I felt as if I was walking in to my own home greeting my family. Really really love this place. Pleasant environment, great, friendly staff that take customer concerns very seriously. I had a very minor issue and was contacted within an hour to get it resolved. Id say the best dental office I’ve been to, and I’ve been to multiple dentists throughout the years!

Dr Sifain has become my go to doctor for any dental treatment I need. He made me so comfortable and explained everything I needed to know before my procedures. TLC dental is the best dentist I have been to in my life... Every procedure is painless and they are remarkably caring. My hygienist, Achura, is amazing. She never missed a chance to educate and entertain, while doing a thorough, and pain free, job. If you need to choose a new dentist, look no further. You just found the best one.

I wish I could take away stars for this review. Making an appointment was such a hassle to start with. Once we finally got in to see the dentist, the experience got worse! I had been visiting the same dentist for almost a decade and have had 2 cavities in that time. We had a change on our insurance and our dentist does not take it, so we came across TLC Dental and really regretted it.On our first visit, both my wife and I were told that we had deep pockets in our gums and would need a deep cleaning to resolve that. I was in the chair and the dentist was naming out numbers from 1-4 when checking my gums. He finished and was shocked that there were no 5s. He went back and changed some 3s to 5s (which are the deep pockets requiring the deep cleaning). I was also told that I have an alarming amount of bone loss and a major cavity. My last visit to the old dentist was 7 months prior for a cleaning and none of this was mentioned to me, so I was suspicious of these new problems that were presented to me.At this point, I was left alone in the room for a solid 30 minutes while a treatment plan was being made (Im still under the impression at this point that a cleaning would be taking place, so I waited patiently). This room also had a flickering light which was causing me quite the headache. Someone walked in with my treatment plan and made a comment about how annoying that light must be. I responded by asking if I could go into another room while waiting for the cleaning because of the headache it was causing and was told no, I would have to deal with it. Meanwhile, the treatment plan presented had an enormous amount of work on it which would require me to pay out of pocket for because the insurance wouldnt cover it all. I had suspected that the problems were not as serious as they made it out to be, so I requested to not have the deep cleaning done, just the regular one covered by my insurance.Again, I was left alone in room with the flickering light for some time before the dentist came back in and insisted that the work was necessary. I again refused it and requested the regular cleaning. He told me he could not give me the regular cleaning as it would do no good and left me alone with the flickering light again.At this point, Ive been in the room for more than 90 minutes total before I was greeted again by a treatment plan. This is when I discovered that even if I were to pay for the deep cleaning, my appointment was only for the exam and not a cleaning. THEY REQUIRED ME TO SIT IN A ROOM WITH A FLICKERING LIGHT WHILE A TREATMENT PLAN WAS BEING MADE, WHEN I COULD HAVE JUST SPENT THE TIME IN THE WAITING ROOM SINCE THERE WAS NO INTENTION FOR A CLEANING TO BE DONE THAT DAY!I walked out of the office and will never set foot in there again. My biggest regret is not getting the name of the only bright spot in the office. She is the person who took me back to the room and took the x-rays. Every other person in that office seemed incompetent, rude and only cared about ways to get more money out of the patients.Since this terrible experience back in December, I have gone to a different dentist, shared my experience with them and had them check for the deep pockets, alarming bone loss and major cavity. I was informed that my teeth are perfectly healthy and had a regular cleaning done.BEWARE OF THESE TRICKSTERS, THIEVES AND FLAT OUT LIARS!

All my years of coming here, I have never had a dental hygienist like Kristyn. She is gentle and still gets my teeth clean as a whistle. Very light hands, did not even know she was working in my mouth.

I went in for an annual cleaning (no charge) only for the doctor to tell me that I need a deep cleaning in only one corner of my mouth and that I couldnt get a regular cleaning and that it was going to cost me almost $200 which I could not afford at the moment. I wasted gas, $40 copay and a few hours of my time. The white lady with red hair at the front was very rude but the black lady that did my xrays was really nice.

Dr. Jacobsohn is an amazing dentist and takes all the time needed for his patients. Also, Tammi, Kristyn, and all other employees are all assets to the company. Stacey explained all the amounts that insurance covers, and for my out of pocket expenses. I would recommend this practice to any friends or family.

Had x-ray, doctor finally came. She looked at my mouth then said to make 2 more appointments. I came in because I needed a broken tooth repaired. I left with the broken tooth and plans to find a new dentist!

When I went in I was in serious pain and the staff made me feel like I was apart of the family. From the front desk, assistants, doctors and the hygienist . This is the most dishonest most horrible DENTAL OFFICE that I have ever gone to... They will charge you for things that are NEVER PROVIDED! I have contacted the BBB to report this practice of over charging. The dental office staff is non caring to costumer concerns, they are condescending and dis respectfully. The dental services received here are a joke. RUN AND NEVER LOOK BACK

They want you to follow a plan. They dont understand that a person may be on disability and get money once a month but want you to pay for dental work. Then they are rude and waste your time with an appointment for nothing to happen. The best part is they say that they cant treat emergencies if you dont follow a plan and have to pay an arm and a leg for services that insurance dosent cover.

I have been scared of the dentist for years and I had to come in due to chronic pain and Dr. Jacobsohn made me more comfortable and when they did my deep cleaning he was extremely gentle giving me novacaine shots. I had to have my wisdoms and an extra tooth pulled and everyone who has helped me was just great.
