Adam O. is hands down the most friendly and knowledgeable technician I have ever come across and will be signing up for their yearly A/C maintenance. Adam was extremely professional and I found myself learning about the HVAC system as he was explaining how the mechanics worked.. I had a 4 year old A/C unit start short cycling no less than 24 hours ago that had a Nest Learning Thermostat connected that was the culprit. Being in FL and in 93 degree heat, not having the AC working properly was a big issue. They understood the urgency and came earlier than expected and switched out my Nest and tested everything. Im back to normal all thanks to Adam and Keith Lawson Co.
I had active leak under kitchen sink. Jacob arrived within an hour and was polite and professional. I have only lived in this house for a week and he was kind enough to explain how some of the plumbing worked and answered all my questions. Very good experience. Price was as I expected.

Spoke with Donnie in the Office. VERY RUDE, claiming all I wanted was money out of them. Who talked over me and would not listen to my grievance. I was told there was no one else to whom l can speak, no one is his supervisor.My complaint is Lawson takes advantage of seniors. After the plumber made a 15 min assessment, 15 min trip to Ace hardware, actually working on the plumbing 10-15 min it took him 15 min to write the bill. Running theclock to an hour. Charge is $85.00 just to come out and $100.00 an hour. Not even 1 hour work is $185.00. No matter what you are told over the phone.
I had a guy cone out to look and give me an estimate. He was very nice. But he never sent the email with the estimate. I called a week or so later the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. She theyd have him send over the estimate, never happened. I called a few weeks later and again,very friendly staff but they couldnt find any record of the guy coming out to even see the place. So now Im waiting for a call back.
Technician was prompt, professional and efficient. He was also able to answer my questions about my AC system and possible changes. I’ve always been pleased with Keith Lawson services.Joshua was able to come to do some plumbing work the same day I called. He was professional, courteous and even handled a little unexpected work with no problem.

5 stars for the service tech (John) who performed the service on my HVAC unit. He confirmed the blower module was bad and replaced the blower motor in the air handler in short order. He arrived at 12:10 pm and I received the invoice and the debit card receipt by email after completion at 1:20 pm. An hour and 10 minutes later! That was awesome!However, Im not so generous with with the appointment process and their billing practices. I was told when making the appointment there would be an $85 diagnosis fee, but if the service was performed there would be an hourly labor charge of $85.00 and the diagnosis fee would be waived.So when the invoice charge was $330.00 I called the office and was told their hourly labor charge was $165.00. She looked up the invoice and confirmed I was charged for 2 hours labor. I asked her why the man I made the appointment with said their labor charge was $85.00 an hour and all I got was thats not right. Where I come from you take people at their word, but then again...Im not from Tallahassee. Oh, and do you think its fair to charge for another hour of labor...for 10 minutes work?Thanks John for the quality work.
I hired Keith Lawson for a shower renovation. While the quality of the work is fine, the communication is extremely frustrating. They do not let you call and speak with the plumber directly, which results in miscommunication. If you call, you can only leave a message to the receptionist to be passed along to the plumber when back from the field. That leaves all communication to happen over email, which did not work well. For example, I tried several times to confirm with the plumber the correct fixtures, and he showed up to install the wrong ones. It was also really hard to get him to answer all my questions over email (many were ignored). Even just establishing a date and time to finish installing the trim was a convoluted and trying process.Also they will just install everything standard even if it makes no sense, so you need to be there to walk them through how high to install the shower head, etc. Maybe this is the norm for plumbers but it seemed like something that should have been confirmed with me prior to installation so I wouldnt have had to have them redo it. Same thing with the fixtures; I only found out they had bought the wrong ones because I asked to see them during the installation process. The work order they drew up for me was very vague and if you use them I recommend you make them be very explicit (model number, etc).I wont be using them for my next plumbing job.
Josh is highly professional. Replacing a hot water heater and shower controls in a 1950s house is not the easiest job. Worked hard all day, cleaned everything up, got it done!
Bruce went the distance to provide excellent service, not only determining the system problem which was covered under warranty but also by explaining in detail what the problem was determined to be. Have paid this company nearly $20,000 over the years for HVAC units, including regular costly inspections to maintain warranties. Had new upstairs unit installed this week and it did not take 24 hours before was getting dunning phone call demanding immediate payment. I cant recall any local company so poorly behaved, including electricians, plumbers, lawn care people, etc. It is perfectly routine to be billed and then send payment. Very shabby operation.
AC would stop working or room temperature was significantly higher than thermostat. First service rep immediately decided it was the compressor capacitor and replaced. Assured me that he had completely checked the system. Stopped again that night. Friday night of course. Called next day told would be almost double rate if it could not be proved that it was a defective part. Sweated through the weekend. Next service rep decided that it was the connector board. $285 for a $ 40 part. Stopped again that same night. Assured that he thoroughly checked the entire system including freon, fan, air leaks, etc.Was underwhelmed with the thoroughness, demonstrated knowledge and apparent honesty of either of the two service personnel. Both young and seemed inexperienced. Was dissapointed with the customer service by the company to resolve the issue.Finally resolved after a similar experience with a second company by a third contractor.

If I could pick zero stars I would. They completely screwed my grandmother over. Said they replaced parts that they didnt & charged her $200 for 30 minutes of labor (no parts were replaced). Total scam.

Stay away from Keith Lawson Services!!!The worst company I have ever dealt with! I do not ever even write reviews but this experience has led me to write one. Their service is a joke. Cost me $1000 on repairs due to a mistake done by their service person. The service team themselves were pleasant to work with, but the management is horrible. They cant take responsibility for their mistakes. After $1000 in repairs for which I paid, the company wanted an additional $460 in services that were done due to their mistakes. The service manager will deflect any and all mistakes as negligible and that basically the unit is at fault.Do your research and find a company that looks out for your interest as opposed to their profit margins (I understand this is a business and business cant be viable without profit but give me a break). I also asked for a quote to install a new HVAC system which was $800 more than any other companys quote for the same unit plus they wanted an additional $1500 in repairs caused by then to take the old unit out, which all other companies included in their quote essentially asking $2000 over every other companys quote.
Our service man, John, was very knowledgeable. He gave me straight forward answers and did not push services, but laid out my options and let me decide.
We had a clogged pipe that was causing our laundry room to flood. They sent Michael Hayes out and he got there quicker than promised, took care of the problem, talked to me about how to prevent it, and was just overall amazing. I just moved and after dealing with contractors who show up when they want to and do what they want, this was a huge relief and breath of fresh air.No.offense, but to the people complaining about the trip charges and whatnot, remember, these folks are running a business, not a charity.

Where are zero stars when you really need it? Best of Tallahassee on their website LOL!! Who makes that stuff up? This place is a joke, please dont waste your time. They charge $85 to give you an estimate and wont give one over the phone to install a water heater. If you call around MOST places that are legit and not trying to rip you off WILL give you a general idea of how much without charging you to come out and look at it for a fee. In addition to that, they have a very rude woman answering the phone, and when asked questions about the water heater, all she could say was that shes not a plumber, and repeated that statement in a very rude way with any plumbing related questions and to put icing on the cake the woman hung up on me!!! Apparently the RUDE woman has been employed there for a long time according to the reviews below, they kept her on regardless. Shows you how much they care about customers feedback. Avoid at all costs, this is not how you run a business.
I contacted Keith Lawson Company via online chat session. Tristan C., the live specialist took my information about one of my a toilets making an unusual sound and having constant trickle of water into the bowl. He messaged that he would have someone from Keith Lawson give me a call for further assistance. I later received a call from Matt who I again informed of the problem that I was having with my toilet. I asked about fees and was told there was $84.95 fee to have the problem diagnosed and that fee would be applied to the service provided if I proceeded with the repair. Within the next hour(much to my delight) Josh arrived to diagnose the problem with my toilet. He tells me that he thinks there is a problem with the flapper and he would change that out and if that didnt fix the problem he would change out the flush valve. I mentioned to Josh that if the problem was just the flapper that was something I could change myself and I was sorry to waste his time for coming out for something so simple. Josh however, proceeded with replacing the flapper without mentioning the estimate for the cost of the repair. When finished with the repair Josh presented the total cost and I was livid. I didnt mind paying the diagnostic fee but $75 to replace a flapper is ridiculous. I complained to Josh about that fee and he stated the company didnt have a fee for just a flapper repair and because he didnt have to change the flush valve he would take a $1 or 2(?) off the cost of the flapper. He also stated he should have given and estimate for the cost of the repair but he sometimes forgets to do it. He apologized for the miscommunication but I was still on the hook for the additional $75. I paid the service fee and I then contacted Shelby at Keith Lawson and requested to speak with a manager. I was told they were unavailable and she would have the manger return my call. I never received a call so I called again and spoke with Ann. I explained to her my issue and she transferred the call to Matt. I explained the above to Matt. He stated he had a busy day as to why he didnt return my call and he would relay my complaint over to his(Joshs) supervisor. He also informed me that Josh should have given me an estimate before performing any repairs as it was company policy.
Nate is an excellent technician. I hired him to come in an inspect our system after another company had performed questionable, erratic service. Nate detailed multiple problems with that work, shows me the mistakes, then fixed them. The system is cleaner and better functioning than it has been in some time. I signed up for Lawsons Red Carpet Service.

My Mother was having plumbing problems, Joshua Holden ( the sevice technician that responded) very patiently explained to my Mom (93) what the problem was ( he had to explain several times as shes hard of hearing and forgets in 5 minutes what you just told her!) and had it fixed in no time. I was very pleased with not only the service and price, but very pleased with the understanding this young man showed to an elderly woman! If she has any more problems, I will ask for him specifically to come out! Great job Joshua, and thank you again!!

We have been customers for 19+y Semi-annual inspections have preserved the equipment. Technicians are always friendly and helpful. The dual heat pump system in the home lasted more than 15 years. When it needed to be replaced the newer equipment allowed us to move to a single heat pump so our operating costs and annual maintenance costs have gone down. From design to installation to work site cleanup it has been a great experience. We will be sticking with this company for the long term.

Asked how much to put in a dishwasher. Told us the hourly rate was $89 over the phone but when tech got here, he said hourly rate was $200 and hed charge $400 to put in dishwasher. Way more than phone estimate. Dont trust them. The Google Users below who rated Lawson with 5 stars must work for the Lawson company.

I do not recommend this company. We had an on demand hot water heat installed in our home and were not getting hot water in most of the house. Finally, after three plumbers on separate visits failed to find the problem and told me it was my imagination, the fourth very experienced plumber realized that not one of the previous workers ever noticed that the switch that pumps hot water through the house was not turned on. It was during this fourth visit when I asked for a different plumber to check the system out that the problem was solved. He called the company that made the unit and they told him to turn up the power on the pump. He then realized that no one had turned on the pump.

Called and set an appointment to have our fan motor replaced and was quoted by the person who answered phone that charge would be $85.00 per hour and no diagnostics fee or coming out fee. When he got here is was 12:10 pm, and left at 1:20, we had the fan motor from our old system and we used that. They charged $330.00 for not even an hour. Found out that the $85.00 per hour was a fat lie, as the tech said AFTER he was done and made the bill, it was a charge of $65.00 to come out, and $165.00 per hour! I would NOT recommend this company to anyone needing an A/C service. After the lies and overcharge, they didnt even try to make it right! Oh well it seems they said in so many words, just well whoever was answering phone was wrong. Well, why are they letting this person answer calls???????????????? NO, will NEVER use these people again and Im spreading the word on this all over Facebook and Twitter. I want the public to know what kind of rip off and liars company this is

The guys who answer the phone are rude and cut you off, they dont put in your order correctly, I have been waiting since June for them to come screw a simple piece back on and am waiting again today only to get a call that they not coming until tomorrow. They charged me for the service call and tried to screw me over with an outrageous bill for an AC repair. So I went to my repair man who charged me 250 for what they were trying to charge me 900 dollars for. Make sure you review the AC unit you get from them. They intentionally will install an ac unit that is known to have alot of issues so they can come back and charge you for repairs... Buyer Beware!!! Update, a guy came out this morning with an attitude and tried to charge me 160 to put a clip back on an ac wire. These guys are scammers,I paid them 80 dollars the 1st time and they forgot to do it and now trying to charge me again... I can guarantee that whatever price they quote you it is a scam and you can find someone less expensive to do the same work. Update spoke to a manager named Matt who did not honor them coming back out for free but rather told me they would apply my 80bdollar credit, I took off work again only to have Matt call me when Daniel was on the way to say they were charging me the full amount... buyer beware these people are running a scam operation to make money off of consumers.

Each time we were very pleased with their response time, the quality of the repair work was great and all the technicians were friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Keith Lawson for your HVAC and plumbing needs. What set this company apart, in my opinion, is no hidden cost, everything is explained and what you pay in the end is what you expected or less.

We hired Keith Lawson to do our water heater and the AC repair. The tech came out and gave an estimate of for the gas water heater which we thought was high but he said it would take them 7-8 hours (since it was in a tight space and needed some rework). We thought the estimate was reasonable for the amount of work. However when the work was actually done, it took them 2 hours so they basically lied about how long it would take and still charged us the full amount. Also they didnt remove the old water heater.Now, the AC tech comes out and says it will cost $400 to refill freon. He does not do any other kind of tune up or cleaning and charges us $85 for the visit. We hired another company and they did tune up and refill for the freon for $200. They also said if we just refill the freon from next time it would only cost us $120.Talk about over charging customers and giving horrible estimates - Kieth Lawson & Co. has that part down to the science. Please, please beware and ask around before you go hire these people.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM! BEWARE!

I would give them 0 stars but I cant. I write this as a warning. This company does not honor their warranties and gives a lot of misdirection to justify why they do so.Good service companies put the customer first.Almost 3 weeks ago, my HVAC unit stopped working on a Saturday. We called Keith Lawson Services tge next day because this unit is under a 10 year labor/parts warranty. Is a brand new system. The dispatcher told me if there was an issue with a part in the unit then I would not incurr a fee. The technician cspent 1hour and change fixing the unit. At the end of that time, he told us that there was nothing wrong with the unit that the fan boards had lost power, and he re-started it and everything should be fine. He charged us the overtime fee because, according to him, he couldnt find anything wrong with the unit (parts) and that he had to charge us. So we gave him a check. Before he left we asked how can we troubleshoot so next time we dont have to call, this tech says, to turn off the unit at the breaker and wait 5 min. The brand new unit took all day to warm up to 69 F. And this tech tells us there is nothing wrong. We did not call them again because We didnt want to get the same tech that was on call. I should mention that my husband did follow this advice a couple of times that night and no dice. That is the quality advice we got from a technician with Keith Lawson Company on how to fix a brand-new HVAC unit. This technician writes on his report that the fan turned on and is pulling normal amps of 1.3.The next day, we called Keith Lawson Company again. We received several apologies and got another tech that has 20plus years of experience to look at the unit. The 2nd tech spends a total of 15 minutes testing the wires and diagnoses the unit with a bad motor not pulling enough amps. He writes on his report “found condenser motor pulling 1.9 amps with fla rating at 1.3 amps”. He gets in his truck finds out where a replacement is. 2 days later we get the unit fixed and working properly. This is the same unit that was working properly according to tech #1 on Sunday but somehow is not working fine on Monday. The unit warmed up to 72 degrees in less than 2 hrs.Do you still wonder why Im writing this review? since so far it looks like they fix their own mistake? Well Im still waiting to get my $259.95 check refunded from them. I finally called them this week and they called me back today (two days later), and the customer service manager tried to convince that in spite not getting a correct diagnosis (that would have voided any labor costs) on Sunday that although it was their mistake I still was responsible to pay so I would only get refunded less than half my money (42% to be exact). They are keeping the rest because, thats right you guessed it, the first technician spent 1 hr. at my house doing everything under the sun but fixing my unit. They rather keep part of my money unjustly, instead of trying to keep the CUSTOMER who considerably spends more on a yearly basis on services/checkups with them. That is fine.Next time I’ll let my HVAC unit know to mind the day it decides to take a break. Does anyone here know how to swindle? Keith Lawson Company in my opinion sure does, and they can swindle their way to 2018! I say cheers to that! Great customer service!
Just today, had one of your Technitions, Tim Colvin, perform a Water Heater flush on our two (2) Rinnais units. I was very impressed by Mr. Colvins Professionalism, Courteousness, and Efficiency.
