Unfortunately, my senior citizen mother signed a contract and paid $435.29 for four visits with Lind Pest Control to address a small mouse problem in my home. Upon the first visit and inspection, she found the technician to be rushed, saying three different times that he was late and had to get to the next appointment. He was brash and rude to her. He quickly pointed out what she needed to address, set a seven traps, and left.He returned one week later and retrieved one of the traps with a dead mouse and promptly left, saying that he was late for another appointment.Due to bad, rude, and highly unprofessional service by the Lind Pest Control technician, she contacted Lind Pest Control and explained her concerns to the office manager. She asked for a partial prorated refund, to stop the service as allowed per contract, and to talk with the owner. She was informed that the owner would not talk with her and she could have a refund of $50, plus a $15 senior discount which she had requested. She demanded to talk with the owner. The owner called her the next morning and angrily informed her that she was in the wrong. The owner of Lind Pest Control was just as rude and unprofessional on the telephone as his technician was in person. He was on a tirade. When she was telling him about her concerns about the service she had received, he kept interrupting her. At one point, he said, Im done and HUNG UP ON HER. Shortly thereafter, another technician came to retrieve the remaining mouse traps and left. He was there for just a few moments and did not perform another inspection or full service. She then received just $65 by mail. Per their own contract, she is owed another $98.23 which they have refused to pay.This company should not treat people so badly, especially seniors. When I contacted the company on my moms behalf, I gave them a chance to do what was right by their own contract or that I would be forced to seek other remedy through social media. I let them know consequences for their ugly actions. They responded in a Yelp review that the felt it was extortion. They wrote a lot in their online Yelp response, but never addressed the base issues: extremely poor customer service, extremely rude to customer, anger issue of owner, and non-compliance of their own contract. These are the base facts and they stand for themselves.

I have used Lind Pest Control for 7 years now. They come out quarterly to spray the perimeter of my house, eaves, etc. for spiders, ants and other insects, and perform inspections of my crawl space when required. Their customer service is great. Keith was the technician who performed the service this time and has been out quite frequently in the past. He is excellent: always on time, knowledgeable, very personable, respectful and efficient. Other technicians have also done a very good job. I highly recommend Lind Pest Control.

Lind Pest control continually provides exceptional service with a smile. I had a recurring problem with the little odiferous ants that I was unable to resolve myself and Lind Pest Control worked with me over the summer months to resolve and I’m now on a quarterly plan. During the most recent visit from their technician, Keith had to crawl under the house for full inspection and despite the difficulty of accessing the space he maintained a sense of humor while quickly and efficiently getting the job done while also dealing with a dead rodent. Lind Pest Control has come out on a regular basis because of ant problems, and at this time that their visits are keeping the ants under control. Lately I have had them out to solve a mouse problem, and they have seemed to get most of the mice out of the house, but I need to follow up by providing screening for some of the foundation vents.Im pleased with their work.

These guys are the best. Always courteous and kind. Keith was great and very flexible as we had to speak through my Ring doorbell to coordinate entrance into my home at a different time. Its nice having someone work WITH me on scheduling.

The company is responsive and has great customer service. The pest tech Ronnie is at the top of his field with an innate ability to get the job done effectively, efficiently and knowledgeably. He is fearless, brave and manages to access very tiny, dark, “scary” places to find the worst of pests. I have complete confidence that my home is better off with Lind’s services thanks to Ronnie’s extra efforts in my older house.

Justin did an awesome job when he came to do our winter service. He gave us suggestions on how to improve our surroundings to keep the rodents out. He also gave us details on the bait stations (how much was left, etc.). He was very pleasant and we appreciated him taking the time to give us the details, etc.

I watched the technician who performed my service on the cameras around our house. He really hustled, and he seemed to be very thorough, professional and well-trained. The technician even read my note asking him not to kill a spider that had been in a particular spot in our patio all summer, and he wrote on the door hanger that he didnt spray him. (The spiders gone now - dont know if he died anyway or moved on to a spot with more bugs.) Im still seeing a few ants, but, hopefully, theyll all be gone soon. BTW, my spider was back last night before I posted this. I think he even waved at me when he saw me.

The technicians were great. The office staff was curt to the point of rudeness and inept far beyond that point. Between saying theyd sent invoices that were never delivered to missing appointments by over 24 hours, Im glad to have finally terminated my service with them.

Lind Pest Control has been providing excellent service to my home for many years. During that time they have been proficient in their services in keeping insects and pests away from my property. If any problems were found, they were taken care of in a safe, and timely manner. I would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone.

The actual pest control is adequate. We have a quarterly service that includes spraying, bait traps, under the house inspection. We dont have any idea how their service and price compare with others offering comparative services. Do your homework and check the several companies offering pest control services.

Great service! I have the quarterly service since I have a very old house and it works like a charm. They are great with scheduling and even remember that I have a dog and to keep him instead when calling. Great customer service and happy to be spider free.

Good Pest Control, not great at the administrative details. Lind provided services to our home for 3 years -- mostly good communication to schedule the service but the billing was always confusing and they never seemed to use the right method to send me a bill -- drop off at the door, mail, e-mail -- all never what I was expecting and then they would bill me a late fee. The office staff is friendly and professional, and we worked through these types of problems several times over the years, but I would prefer better communication.

Our landlord pays for the pest control service. The men that have come in and checked up on our traps have all been very nice.The reason I’m leaving a poor review is the way the scheduling of visits has taken place. They call us the day before simply going “we will be there tomorrow morning at this time”. Me and my roommate do not have consistent schedules for work. And having less than 24 hours to be warned about people needing to come into the home makes it very hard for us to be available, therefore having to reschedule almost every appointment. Every time we have tried to explain that to the receptionist we were met with rudeness and no flexibility. If they were to call us and ask when a good time this week would be to come visit we would be happy to oblige and schedule a time that works with our schedules but we were never given this option.

Have used Lind for 5 years. They always call before coming out to spray. I have been satisfied with the service they provide. I live a long way out of town and the cost is a bit high for that reason but the service is essential and the office staff is knowledgeable and always polite and friendly. The extermination treatments seem to work on the insects that I want to kill to prevent damage to my home. I have not had any negative experiences with this company.

One of the first things was a mouse migration. They were doing construction at the other end of the neighbor and we were apparently the first house without pets, so the horde moved in. Walking around while you were in the same room, without a care in the world. They made them move on or go to the beyond - either way, we have been having them watch over and spray for four, six, and eight legged pests since. - Last big thing was ants that they handled.

They seemed to be nice people, but they didnt accomplish what they agreed to do with the $420 I paid them. Before I contracted with them, I told their technician that my primary concern was to stop the plague of roof rats that was devastating my garden; and that I didnt want to go forward unless they were confident they could do that. .........................................................................One month and $420 later, Theyve caught one rat in the attic and two outdoor bait stations have been barely touched. My entire beet and carrot patch has been eaten. Nearly every apple on my established tree has been eaten. I had twenty tomato plants that had produced ripe fruit by June 30th. Once the rats started in, every tomato was ruined before it could get ripe. My pea crop was decimated. Now theyre eating the tassels of the corn plants (theyve left droppings on the leaves). ..........I just had a candid but pleasant conversation with a manager on the phone. The upshot: Their error in judgment will cost them nothing and me $420 and all the crops Ive been planning and babying since last fall. When I complained earlier that the rat problem outside was as bad as ever, the technician offered an agreement to keep doing what hadnt worked yet for another $350 or so.To be fair, They acted professionally in the house and were courteous. Linds technician did point out a rodent access route to the attic which I have since corrected; but that wasnt what I expressly hired them for. Perhaps the technician was understandably reluctant to lose a job for his firm by responding frankly to my primary concern. I just dont believe I should bear the total cost of that mistake.

Horrible, horrible service. The owner Randy refuses to return phone calls. I got sick after one of the pest treatments at our home. When he didnt return my call to discuss, we called again and CANCELLED SERVICE with LIND PEST CONTROL. (FYI, we had been a long time customer). They continued to deliver services and charge us even after we cancelled service. Instead of talking with us, Randy the owner turned it over to a collection agency. I filed a complaint with the BBB. LIND Pest Control is NOT a BBB member.
