I rented a tool from them and when I brought it back, I told them that a small part had broken. I was honest with them and explained what happened. The man at the counter told me that the manager is not there and he needs to look at it and decide if I’m going to be charged extra. He told me they will contact me. I did get the damage insurance when I rented the tool. So a week passed I get a charge on my card for the damage. Nobody called me. They charge outrageous prices for repairs. God forbid you break something expensive. The part that was broken doesn’t nearly cost that much. When I called to inquire about the charge and why I didn’t receive a call about this. The man on the phone was rude. He told me that I was told there was going to be an extra charge. I was actually told that the manager needs to look at it and decide. Basically accused me of lying. I will never rent from them again.
Got an injured dog guarding their establishment. Come take care of your German Shepherd.Update per owners comments:Your German shepherd was limping around your establishment around 9:30am when my husband and I walked by. Your dog is guarding your establishment which makes it an employee and if youre not taking care of your employees then you get a 1-star review. If you have an animal guarding your place then at least have cameras to check and see if the dog is injured, so you can come take care of the poor thing.

Rented a mower. Start cord broke just a few hours in. They were absolutely about doing the right thing.I have definitely moved my business to Bunce. Its nice to find fair and honest.Bob.
The equipment is fairly priced and works well most of the time .However I Worked for this company and was injured on the job but “they have no obligation to take me back” Thanks Mike !! I found out from my L&I vocational counselor instead of the employer. Scared to tell me or just disrespected for me and my family That is so wrong and shows how they feel about there employees..I would recommend Tacoma/Puyallup/South Hill /Pierce county not rent from this company. Just based on my experience as a manager/employee/human .. The management needs some retraining and racial sensitivity training. As blatant racial profiling and stereotype are the norm The way they treat there yard help is appalling thought it when I worked there. The equipment is old but works and they get new stuff in .. they actually have a catogory of customers in the system called “Deadbeat” got various reasons some didn’t pay some the managers just don’t like. Also try renting scaffolding it’s so hard because all the stores except Tacoma rent it w a regular deposit but the Tacoma Manager requires a full month deposit because well “racial sensitivity training needed” he implied (Mexicans) Don’t bring it back. Also Managers in Tacoma have never heard the word Asian ( they refer to Asians as orientals . I brought up the racial issues and well it didn’t do anything no real changes made .I just wanted to let people know my experience and the worst part is I actually enjoyed working for the company till I was injured and then treated like I was Faking my injury till I had a MRI and had to get surgery..

Called got a quote for atachment, verified its settup as for my track machine.called back to settup rental and now they want me to rent there machine,obviously what they say 1 day isnt the same the next and from store to store.

I went in and after patiently waiting while they took down my drivers license and plate number and giving them the rest of my info they tell me they wont take cash, so i go to use my girlfriends card (which is totally fine for me to use) and they wont take it because it doesnt have my name on it. Cool, frustrated but ultimatley i understood. After everything got figured out i go to use the pressure washer and i could not figure out why it wasnt working right? After the time i wasted unhooking and hooking everything back up finally figured out the nozzle they provided was clogged... so i switched nozzles and everything worked fine but after finishing the job traffic was bad and so after calling to mention wed be about 5 minutes late.. they said they wouldnt wait but if we were lucky someone might still be there to take it. Overall iffy customer service they didnt seem like they cared for our business much..
If you need some specialty tools come here there are knowlegdle and friendy. It will cost you but they have what you need.
