Shady buisiness. They rent other companies machines, which they never pay for. Then put thier stickers on them to rent out to thier customers. Shadiest place Ive ever seen.

Bobcat has helped me rent heavy equipment three times now. All three times I have given them zero notice, but they always have what I need. I am not very experienced with excavators and such but they have been very helpful and polite with me. I feel like they keep improving on things as well, the equipment has always been very clean and in good working order and the crew working there acted very professional when they were in my neighborhood dropping off and picking up the equipment. I will definitely be renting other machines from bobcat in the future.

The customer service was on point, I needed a bobcat right away and had no credit card and they worked w me and also had the bobcat right there ready to go w a full tank. Thank you bobcat rentals. Here is the bobcat they rented me.

First of all this isn’t Bobcat.Do yourself a favor before using these guys. Call the credible rental yards around Tacoma and ask about “bobcat of Tacoma” and see what they have to say. Sunbelt- United- Aabergs- Equipment Share. Also, google their address and see what it looks like from the street.

Chris and everyone else who Ive dealt with here have been fantastic. Ive rented various machines from them over the past few years, they have always gone above and beyond any other equipment rental company Ive dealt with. Prices are very competitive, in fact the lowest Ive found for rental, delivery and pick-up out here to where I am at near the base of Mt. Rainier. No matter if its been a new machine or like the last one (an old 743 I requested) all are well maintained with no down time. These are just a few of the reasons this old retired general contractor keeps coming back here! Thanks again to Chris and your crew!

AMAZING and FAST!!!! I was in the middle of redoing my backyard and i needed a bobcat at the drop of hat. I called Bobcat Rentals and asked for a machine. The service over the phone was quick and easy. The machine got to my house very quickly and the driver showed me how to use the machine. I would definitely use this company again.

We rented an excavator from Bobcat rentals in Tacoma. Their customer service and response to my questions deserves a ten out of ten high rating. The office and delivery both.Its hard for me to get out. They did the entire transaction via phone and text. There were some normal hiccups when dealing with the machinery. But they solved those problems BEFORE they delivered the equipment.Having been a small farm owner in King County for more than 30 years and then relocating, I have very few contacts here in pierce county. I took a chance because they offered 24 hour service Best decision. The equipment arrived the night BEFORE I needed it and we woke up to a full day of digging.I will use Bobcat Rentals again for all my tractoring needs.

We needed a propane powered skid steer for a job we had bid. They had one left and we had to give our Credit Card information to reserve it. On the day of the job they texted in the middle of the night that the machine was broken and would not be available. We pushed the job ahead for 2 days because they said it would be fixed. It was not.We did not receive the machine. That was March 12...Now April 8, after many calls and excuses they still have our $2300. Today they assured me it will be back in our account tomorrow...which we have been told many times.

Awesome Company. They went out of their way to help me get what I needed to finish my job. I would highly recommend them to anyone. The picture I uploaded is the Bobcat they delivered to my house. It was like new.

I am giving zero stars and am furious with this company (Just ignore the one star I had to give to post this.)! My husband reserved an excavator for 10:00am on Saturday morning. When the excavator still had not arrived after two hours, he called and asked where it was. About ten phone calls later (using 3-4 different phone numbers because our calls were ignored half the time--the guy just wouldnt pick up the phone when he knew we were calling again), we finally had to accept that we were NOT getting an excavator delivered AT ALL. We were told: 1) Were running late. 2) It will be there. 3) Its getting loaded right now. 4) Were on our way. All were lies.The kicker was when, at 3:00pm, they asked if we needed a thumb for our excavator. We were trying to tear down our garage that had caught fire in May, so of course we needed a thumb, which my husband had specifically reserved. We had neighbors over to help us demo who were also waiting around for six hours, and we are currently paying a daily fee to rent a huge dumpster thats sitting in our driveway. We were told the only thumb they had was in Seattle and they could maybe get it to us in three hours. YA RIGHT!We immediately asked for a refund, which we still have not received. We were told a refund credit confirmation had been texted to my husband, which is another lie. I contacted my bank this morning and plan on contacting the Attorney General. I have NEVER encountered such a disreputable company in my life! You are insane if you read this review and proceed to do business with this place. I NEVER write reviews, but ethically I had to WARN YOU because I would want someone to warn me about a scam artist.

Unfortunately I cant give a no star review. I reserved a machine about a week in advance for a Wednesday at 8am. My wife and I both took the day off from our jobs to do the work. 8am came and there was no call no show for our machine. So I called them and was told the machine I reserved was broken. Now an hour into my waiting. I was told they might be able to get a different machine to me but dont know what time and are still going to charge me the full price of a days rental. So I drive to there shop to find a person working the office whom had no idea of my situation at all and was the first time hearing of it. Couldnt give me any answers or reach a manager (I use the term loosely) all I got is Ill try and will call you back. so for my $400 dollars I got no machine, loss of vacation day for my spouse and I, and wont be surprised if we have to go to battle to get our money back. Especially since they have no customer service or organization. How people continue to do business in such a way is disgusting and sad. No integrity.Read the one star reviews. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY BEFORE YOU SEE AND ARE READY TO PICK UP YOUR EQUIPMENT, IF YOU ARE DETERMINED TO USE THEM!

So started out with the price of equipment I needed was broke down and was t able to have fixed in time and I lost a day but I got a machine that worked just as well and at a discount for the inconvenience I had the track break and his crew came out next day with new tracks and put them on and gave me more time from that they worked with me where most place wouldn’t have Theu were very nice and helpful with great prices compared to most will def keep using them

I would suggest you do not rent from these folks. They will lie and cheat you out of services they offer. I rented a Bobcat from them and after my one day rental, they arrived at 10:30PM to pick the Bobcat up. Shortly after arriving, they dropped the Bobcat off the flatbed truck. Oil and Hydraulic fluid spilled everywhere on my nicely repaired driveway I was building. They called their Manager and asked for assistance, well at 1:30AM, someone arrived to help. Had a neighbor show up to complain about how noisy they were and I was told that when they come back to pick the Bobcat up, they will repair my driveway and clean up the oil/hydraulic spill. Well it has been OVER a week and none of it is cleaned up, I called three times to ask if they are going to come out and they replied with yes we will. They didnt even try offering a compensation for the issues they caused. Please listen when I tell you its not worth your time to mess with these folks.**I added photos for everyone to see, just scroll through their photos**

Believe what you read about these guys, three weeks after I rented a piece of equipment from them they charged my CC without authorization, for $875!! The charge was for another company I have never even heard of I contacted the owner of the company immediately, he said it was a mistake and he would credit back the money immediately. I continued to follow up for a week and got a ton of excuses and promises that it would get done, never did. Had to finally contact fraud dept at Capital One. Dishonest people. UPDATE- OWNER REPLY SAYS I AM FABRICATING THIS STORY, WHEN I SAY THE CHARGE WAS FROM A COMPANY I NEVER HEARD OF, I MEANT THE RENTER, WHICH IS PROBABLY ONE OF THEIR BUDDIES THEY RUN THIS SCEME WITH AND SPLIT THE MONEY . THE CHARGE WAS MOST DEFINITELY FROM BOBCAT RENTALS COMPANY, AND I MOST DEFINITELY HAD TO CONTACT FRAUD DEPT TO GET IT REMOVED. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY AT ALL!!

Outstanding customer service,delivery was a little late and some equipment we had paid for was unavailable due to other customers deciding to keep it awhile longer,but they made up for this with exceptional customer service and we were able to get other equipment delivered that helped complete the job we needed to do,we had a problem with the tread coming off the excavator and when we called they sent a mechanic out as soon as was possible to get the tread back on. I would highly recommend this company to rent from this to anyone without question and I will be renting the equipment I need for future jobs around my property.

All the stuff that you can rent from Bobcat Rentals little Bobcat loaders and excavators and stuff like that the toys are great wonderful. When a piece of Machinery breaks down there their service technicians come out and respond very swiftly get things back to running they do a very good job very thorough people

Will not rent from them again. Will not recommend to anyone.$325 for Bobcat+Delivery+Diesel+Insurance+Tax for 1 day.Renting for Saturday will not get you free Sunday, they work 24/7.Said it will be delivered from 5-8pm but did not show up until 11pm so i had my mother waiting all day and i left work early to wait all night.Finally the 30 minutes heads up for delivery turned out to be 2hrs.Came with flat tire so it came off the rim shortly after. Service guy did not show up for almost 5 hrs after saying 30 minutes.They granted me free day because my day was ruined. Thanks ! Now i have to work both weekends.

Ive rented from this company 3 times. The last 2 were so ridiculous I am astounded they are still in business. I arranged for the trailer to be dropped off late Friday to ensure it was there early Saturday. I got a call from my employees at 11 that the trailer was still not there. I lost the day because I couldnt have them wait around for it. It was finally delivered later that day and when my crew showed up to use it Sunday, the battery for the dump trailer didnt work and there was no cover. Essentially they dropped off a trash can. So I lost most of the days productivity and then was overcharged for dump fees beyond what I would normally pay. The third time (I didnt know what they had charged me the second time when I rented the third time. I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt) after me pointing out the late delivery and issues from the previous rental, still hadnt delivered when I arrive the following morning. No answer on any of their phones (they claim to be 24hr), so I drove there. No one was in the office, so I waited till someone showed up. Then they gave me a trailer that still didnt have a tarp to cover the trailer. The girl working tossed a tarp that she said was definitely big enough to cover it. I was already 3 hours behind schedule so I just hooked the trailer up myself and left. After we loaded the trailer, we open up the tarp and discovered it was less than 1/4 the size of the trailer and had no eyelets to tie it down. Then, the guys at the dump noticed the trailer had expired tabs to boot. I called Bobcat, but they just said sorry. Then they proceeded to charge me in full and still charged me for delivery for the trailer I picked up and dropped off. I spoke with the owner and he blew me off, so Im done with them. Id recommend anyone else look elsewhere if you need equipment or any services this company offers. The funny thing is when I called AMEX to dispute this, the representative also had a problem with them. What are the odds of that. Read the one star reviews on Google. They are probably legit. The 5 stars are probably just paid shills.

Overall,after renting equiptment,and a few attatchments from this business i can honestly say, i enjoyed the experience...being able to transform our backyard ourselves was incredible,! Thank you Bobcat Rentals co.!

The guy delivering our coop needed to rent equipment to get the coop off of the trailer and then turn it around. Was promised delivery in 15 min (2.5 miles away) and took over an hour to get here. Then he high centered it trying to get it off of his truck. What in the heck? Another hour later and they are suprised we no longer required their svcs.

This place is one of the most affordable, coolest, friendliest, welcoming rental companys Ive ever been to since Ive been doing manual labor work. They are open 24/7 so no matter what you can get the right equipment at anytime for your project. Not to mention their super fast and reliable delivery guys. I called & needed a bobcat RTSE at a short notice (2 hrs). Their shop is in Tacoma and Im in Buckley. Not only did they rush out & deliver the machine personally, they even beat every price in all of Pierce county for that same machine. The owner Chris is such a warm hearted, friendly gentlemen. I highly recommend any construction or labor company needing small machinery should definitely go see these guys!!!!!

Horrible experience. Show up at the pickup time they gave us to get a dump trailer. They say they dont have one after an hour of them calling around they give us a dump truck and promise to deliver a dump trailer as soon as they get one. The dump truck isnt really convenient for what we needed but we figure we can get by with it for a day or two. After a few phone calls and no dump trailer we drive over and return the dump truck. They charge us for two days and we leave. A week later theres an additional $500+ charge on our card from them... So the two days of rental plus the original week of a dump trailer rental. So not only did we never get the equipment we rented but now weve been over charged. Frustrating.

I was renting a dump truck from Bobcat it was ok i wish i was able talk to the person face to face bcuz everything was done over texting on the phone. You get the truck full of gas n expecting the same back and 100 free miles any miles after that is 50c. Very cool people.

GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!! My experience with having a Bobcat delivered was not only affordable but on time the staff was very friendly and helpful and when I was done they came to pick up the equipment promptly and didn’t leave a big mess in my driveway,thanks Bobcat Rentals.

Ok the second time I try to give theses clowns a try! Every time I try to deal with theses folks, I have issues. This time I made a reservation and cancelled a week ahead as I didnt need the equipment. When i called, they didnt even have my reservation scheduled, but said I was good to go. NOT! they charged my credit card a week later without authorization. I called and was told on 4 different occasions they would handle it, but they didnt! I called my credit card and Im reporting this business to authorities for making unauthorized charges on my card. The money is worth it, this company is sim[ly horrible. DO NOT GIVE THESE GUY MONEY AHEAD OF TIME! YOUR MACHINE MAY NOT SHOW OR IF YOU CANCEL THEY WILL CHARGE YOU ANYWAYS

DO NOT Hire this BOBCAT RENTALS CO- Also known as BOBCAT PLUMBING CO. We used the plumbing service and was SWINDLED out of almost $500 for a JOKE of a plumbing Job. The Owner Christopher Walls, Bryan Whitlock and a Young female assistant make claims at providing more than 22 years of experience and end up stealing from you and leaving you with a worse situation. Please heed the one star warnings and report these folks to the BBB as I have. They will not respond because they do not care.

The owner Chris is nothing but a liar, rents equipment thats broken and knows it is broken and doesnt give it to you on time I waited until 2 p.m. and brought me the wrong machine that was leaking oil. the entire time he kept lying to me about what I was going on and why it wasnt there. do not trust this company!

I needed a Bobcat and they were right on it had it to my home in 30 mins from the time i called. They also showed me how to use the controls i was a little rusty its been so long since i have ran a bobcat thanks again for the Excellent service!

Dont trust this guy Chris this business is a joke, Chris has only one or two people working there who are not tweakers. The guy is a scatter brain who forgets everything except to collect your money the office is a mess with papers scattered everywhere peoples private info for all the world to see. How they keep track of anything is anyones guess. Long story short stay away from this place! Nothing there is legit the guy scams people into letting him rent out their equipment for a split profit only to end up not paying the owners of the equipment! Not only that but they dont take care of the equipment and will send it out with known problems! Just notice as how the inventory they have changes as more often than not people come and take their equipment back from him since he dont pay them their half! Another thing to point out is the 5 star ratings on here are fake. I know for a fact that Robert Whitlock and Tia Johnson were at the time of their review employees or associates if you will of the company so disregard those for sure!!!! WORST customer service ever. Called Chris in the morning asking if he had a 12k CAT Excavator, he said yes. So I got it reserved to be delivered for the evening, gived all the info, also had a time set up so I can pay the driver for the Machinery.2 hours before the delivery time I texted Chris reminding him. Time came no machinery, so called the office a girl answered told her what was going on, she said give me a min to see where the driver is and will call me back. 20 minutes later no phone call. I called Chris he answed, Im asking wheres the machinery, and he says can you refresh my mind what you reserved??? NEVER RENT FROM THESE GUYS. Im a project manager for a construction company. I rent 2 or 3 pieces per month of equipment from Chris and Bobcat rentals. For approximately 6+ months now. I have had zero negative experiences with them. In response to the negative reviews here, I suppose that NO business is going to fit the criteria of everybody.
