One of the best barbershops in the area. Online appointment makes it easy to book a barber. The ship is like walking into a photography studio. Peaceful setting with tasteful decor. Barbers are fantastic and highly talented. Really pay attention to detail and take their time and are excellent to talk to.

JD has been cutting my sons hair for almost 2 years and I am so glad to have found him. What a difference a skilled barber like JD can make. His focus is mens cuts (not boys/kids), but my son really enjoys seeing him and loves how well he listens to what style he wants. His space is comfortable, clean, and professional and I love that we can schedule easily online.JD has an impressive artistic talent for mens cuts. Aside from his hair skills, his energy and perspectives always improve my day after visiting him.

If I could rate my experience any better I would. The barber is amazing at what he does he adapts your style to how your hair naturally goes. Great experience! Good price! Makes all the marks. 10 out of 10. I would definitely recommend him.

Yesterday was my first time at J.Elquist but I’ve been going to Gwendolyn for about six months now. She knows exactly the cut I need even when I don’t! She’s also just super fun to talk to—it’s like hanging out with friends. Lady Barbers forever! The space is really nicely decorated while still being very personable and Jay is also just a cool dude. It’s kind of a hidden location downtown in the basement of the old courthouse but it’s a true gem. 11/10 would definitely recommend.
