Someone suggested this location to me, in particular to see Cindy. I was very pleased! She listened to my concerns and recommended the service best for my nails. Full set in less than 30 minutes and no blood! She is very personable and they practice social distancing and masking. Highly recommend!

Go to #1 nails Instead!! I went here simply because they were open on a holiday thinking it would be fine. The women who did my nails said she was doing the dip powder and charged me over 50 for this. Mind you she did not take my old set off she simply filed them down( it was UV gel before)I did tell her I wanted them taken off and a new set but she insisted that her using the”dip powder” will look natural and good. I trusted her and it came out pretty bad. I went to my normal salon #1 nails and my girl fixed them for me. I was also Pointed out that this lady at idol used acrylic not dip powder!! Then charged me for dip . Will never go back here. #1 nails right down the road from here has awesome friendly service. They listen to everything you ask and do amazing work I would highly recommend them over Idol.

Not my best nail experience.. They smudged two nails when they were putting my sandals on and fixed the polish but did not put a top coat on those nails. Then they used the wrong color gel nails. Then I asked for a design and they polished the entire nail a different color. Whey cut my toe using that grater. And they painted the design upside down.

Cindy was amazing! She asked questions to make sure I was comfortable and paid attention to details of what I wanted. Really did an amazing job, so glad I checked this place out. I will definitely be back.

I went there after calling for an appointment at 12. I got there and she was double booking people while it was busy knowing they would have to wait longer. As for the nails, I got a fill in and a pedicure and it was very rushed. It came out sloppy both on the feet and nails. I had her do a custom design which she attempted. I wasnt expecting much. I wouldnt recommend this place for anyone who wants a clean neat job done.

Love the service and the product! Comes out perfect every time. They make sure to learn what you like so you’re happy every time and the rare chance you aren’t they fix it right away with no complaint! They really want their customers to be happy.

The salon was very friendly and followed the cdc guidelines, which I appreciated.However, I kept repeating that I did not want a gel pedicure, just regular polish, and they did a gel anyway. I was insisting this because I only had enough cash on me to get a gel pedicure. Luckily I found an extra $10 in my purse.My nail polish is not the color I asked for. Being that I got a dip powder manicure, I couldn’t tell till the very end that the color was incorrect. At that point I felt too bad to say anything.Perhaps what’s really got me unhappy is I can still see my nail polish from before they took my nail polish off on the sides of my nails and some of my nails have a yellow tint to them (see picture).

I LOVED this place!! if you ever need to get your nails done while in syracuse then you MUST come here. The lady paid special attention to my nails and did not cut any corners. The nails were done perfectly and I will definitely be coming back again. There are not enough words to describe how much I love this place. i 13/10 recommend. BEST. NAILS. EVER!!!!

Such a terrible experience! The acrylics done on both my sister and myself were absolutly awful!! The lady who did them did not take her time or seem to care about the work she was doing. All the nails are varying shapes and lengths... absolutly hideous and for the price you pay!! Definitely look elsewhere for nail work. Will be going somewhere else to get them fixed.

Nothing like their pictures online, the lady filed my acrylics after painting them which rubbed the nail polish off in spots. said I wanted medium but closer to longer, cost an extra 5$ and the walmart nails ive gotten were longer

I came here for the first time yesterday. I am so happy I tried this place. I made the appointment for 5:30 and I showed up about 10 minutes early. They got me right in...I got short, coffin shape, ombre nails. First time ever trying ombre. I dont know her name but whoever I had was very focused on doing my nails and sweet. She did an amazing job on my nails...exactly what I asked for..I will definitely be going back.

As stated on previous reviewers, my guilty pleasure is getting my nails done. I feel polished (see what I did there?) with at least my fingernails looking spiffy. Since moving to the Syracuse area, Ive sought out my new home nail salon and Idol Nails & Spa is definitely it.Im always greeted warmly and have never had to wait (but I work weird hours, so Im there at off times). I like to get gel for my finger nails since normal manicures just dont stick with me that long and I refuse to pay for someone paint my nails with regular polish when its just going to start chipping off the next day. Im not sure what it is about Idol and their gel nail procedure, but they always seem to last without chipping for at least 3 weeks. What the what, right?! Ive even had a gel manicure last almost 4 weeks. That, my nail salon loving Google friends, is a good deal.As always, cleanliness is vital for a nail salon and Ive never seen a more sanitized salon than Idol.

This is my new favorite nail salon! I got my nails done here yesterday & I loved the finished product. They have tons of colors & styles to choose from and everyone was super friendly. Tech did an amazing job & I even got a free drink while she worked her magic. I will definitely be going back. If youre looking for quality & style in a nail salon, this is your place!

Thank god I found Idol Nails & Spa, it is the best nail salon in Syracuse! Ive tried 4 salons and hands down got the best results from Idol Nails & Spa. The salon is so cute and everyone that works there is so nice and professional. Technician shapes my nails perfectly and every time I go she does an incredible job. I highly recommend making an appointment since this salon can get really busy.

Love this place! I didnt know if theyd have any availability for a no chip manicure, but called and was able to come in right away. The space at Idol Nails & Spa is clean, nicely decorated and in a great location. Definitely impressed with the quality of the manicure itself, and I cant say enough good things about who made my nails look so great. Ill happily be returning in the future. Service and staff were top notch.

First time here as a recommendation from a friend. I was able to get in without an appointment with no trouble. Its very easy to find. The salon is large and has lots of seats for both manicures and pedicures. Its was clean, tidy and free from toxic odors. The technician did a great job! Looking forward to my next time.

Very cool place! Everyone was so friendly and was patient with us due to not really knowing what we wanted. They helped us coordinate colors with our dresses which was very nice of them! This is our nail spot for now on the owner is awesome as well she does very good work with the fake nails.

First time at Idol Nails & Spa and definitely not my last.I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into to a beautiful little Shop, that looked clean and luxurious.This is the first time Ive ever felt at home at a nail salon. We talked and laughed the entire time and walked out of there feeling like I had hung out with a long time friend. Not only was my experience fun but she did the best nail job Ive ever had! This place is beyond GORGEOUS. They actually CARE about you and youre not just another customer. The gel always stays on for weeks at a time and my roommates and I always leave happy. I wait at least a week before doing a nail art review just to make sure they last at least that long. The owner did my nails using real flowers on 2 of them and made a perfect sharp shape!

Came in to remove acrylic nails and get gel manicure. Was extremely gentle and nice. Did not strip my nails off when removing and great quality colors. Reasonably priced as well!

Everyone there was so attentive and kind! Super sweet and helpful at Idol Nails & Spa. They did great work with my gel manicure and my sisters pedi! The attention to detail on your pediis great. So far Ive only gotten gel manicures and theyve all been amazing and last the standard two weeks. I would totally recommend them!

First time for $ 2.00 and then for 10.00 over the real amount.When I said I wasnt going to pay it he said it was his tip.I sat right there and call my bank and stopped payment. Best neighborhood nail salon! Ive visited twice now with great experiences, both times as a walk in. Everyone has been very friendly and professional. Prices are reasonable. The technicians take their time and care about quality (they do everything from basic mani pedis to SNS). Theyre simply the best. Cant wait to go back!

If I could give zero stars I would. Worst experience ever. Had an appointment for 530, was not seated until after 6, should have taken this as a sign and left- I have been wearing acrylics for over 10 years and I have never ever had my nails look this bad. He argued with me the whole time about my length and the shape and why I wanted the color I wanted. Will buy press on nails before I ever go back to this place.

Worst nail salon I’ve ever been to!!! My nail tech was looking around not even paying attention to what she was doing to my nails . She cut multiple fingers of mine due to not paying attention. She was rushing me to pick a color, which made me have anxiety! Her paint job was HORRIFIC! When putting fill in she missed some of my nail. Very very disappointed. Never again.

Had an acrylic set removed. It was painful and my nails hurt.

Not happy with the quality for the money paid. Person doing my nails hit on me the almost 2 hours I was getting my nails done. Nails are uneven and the gel dip I got is already peeling back the next day. Mostly upset I had to listen to non-stop getting hit on while I just wanted some quiet “me” time to fix my nails.

Excellent service! I have a low blood sugar problem and I almost passed out twice, the whole time the staff was getting me water making sure in had fans on me AND my nails are POPPIN!!! 11/10 if I could give more than 5 stars I easily would.

I have been going with my mom for over a year, and now I still go alone every few weeks and Danny really works miracles. Every design, every color never an issue and hes a pleasure to talk to. I love this crew!!

Got an amazing spa pedicure from Kim. The massage was excellent and I love that she used a cooling gel during the massage before wrapping my legs in warm towels. I was able to easily get a walk-in appointment. The chairs are super comfy and the whole space is extremely clean professional. I am 8 months pregnant and reeeeeally recommend coming here to treat your legs and feet. Kim spent alot of time gently massaging my legs and feet which helped so much to reduce swelling and achiness.

Not only did Cindy rush through my nails after giving me a half-attempt of finding the gel color I wanted, she shortened my thumb shorter than it should be and she cancelled my pedicure appointment “to save me money” because I just got them done the other day. Money is never an issue & I knew that already, hence why I only wanted a polish change. I took my money and business to Nu Nails on Erie Blvd E.

I have tried this place a few times now, but have gotten the same experience each time.Knock off gel nail polish. Looked as if I had painted my nails myself. Chipped two days after getting done, possibly since it seems to be a knock of gel polish. Not happy with the quality. Will not go back and do not recommend.

Awful. Spent 55 dollars on nails, only have 3 of my nails chip within the first day, keeping in mind I was be extremely cautious because I had an event the next day, went back, politely asked them to be fixed, and was given French nails that looked like a child painted them on. with a different base color than the other nails. awful. within hours 7 of my nails are chipped now. waste of money.
