Dont switch to spectrum mobile its all a scam to get you to add more lines. If you want to use your own phone to replace the one thats broken they will deny you flat out and make excuses as to why they cant switch IMEI # on sim. At this point I wont be surprised if they lose customers at a rapid rate due to their lousy policies just stay with t-mobile or any other carrier for that matter, not worth your number being locked because they are too lazy to lock their phones! Been on hold waiting check the photo dont waste time!

If you want to spend the day sitting here for 4 hours to try to get your business taken care of and then to find out they really didnt take care of it this is the place for you staff is very unprofessional talking about all that personal life and drama while the customer stand it and wait I blame the management and corporate for not keeping an eye on this business that the employees feel so comfortable to do this

This is the second time that I have visited this location and neither experience was very good. They have a check in system that places your name on a board and you can see when you are next for services, this is where the problem is, they call a name and when you go to the desk they don’t verify to whom they are speaking. Today I made an appointment on line, checked in when I got there and almost instantly got a text noting my arrival, the associate called my name and before I could acknowledge, another customer went up to the counter and the associate just started taking care of his situation. When I got a chance to go to another associate (they only had 2 on staff) I mentioned to the other associate that I would be a good idea to verify who they are speaking to. His response was “I called your name, he came up, it’s on him”. Where do they get these people? Nothing like throwing the blame on a customer.

With the pandemic occurring and needing to work from home, wifi became more important. The service was not reliable and did not reach certain areas of my apartment which was not a large space. As a graduate student, this made attending class difficult and being able to communicate during meetings for my assistantship was anxiety-inducing as I was not sure if the internet would be working that day. I also had a jump in my bill from $54.99 to $64.99 that I wasnt aware of. Additionally, I was told over phone I could leave my equipment behind but then I received a bill for unreturned equipment. When I reached out to address this issue, I was told nothing could be done even though I received false information.

This place is very slow, youll likely have faster help if you call but if thats not an option and youre stuck here, Ive definitely been to worse places. Its clean and nice looking at least and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly but I think the company as a whole hinders their abilities. I turned in a router I never asked for and never unboxed but even after returning, they left it on my account and billed me for equipment I explicitly told them not to send me in the first place. Took two more phone calls to fix that which should have been done in the store when I returned it...

Recently had a great experience at Spectrum. Store associate Scott Young went above and beyond to provide the services I needed at the best rate possible with boundless enthusiasm. Enjoyable interaction and total satisfaction. Besides setting up my services, he transferred the contents of my old mobile phone to the newly purchased one so that it was fully functional when I left the store. Kudos to the helpful manager and to the store associate next over who was bragging about the great deal he had just given to a customer! Thanks, you all are awesome!

Returning cable/DVR box to disconnect service because I constantly have problems. Eg: cable service just turns off during a movie. Price just jumped $30.00 No thanks! Thinking about switching to another internet provider too because Spectrum wants $100.00 for the cheapest service. Trust me, they are not the cheapest and quality sucks.

Returned some equipment today at the Syracuse Erie Blvd location and while I waited for assistance, I was able to observe the interaction of staff with customers. Amazing customer Service!!! Have no idea how the staff remain calm and helpful with the variety of interactions they encounter. I would recommend pay increases for all of them!

Do not recommend once so ever. When I had services Internet was slow and tv was glitchy. I was behind, but literally yesterday talked to collections and I had til Friday which is 3 more days away and got a call today from spectrum to pay or pick up my equipment and had a deal to pay Thursday when I get my check and services won’t be interrupted, from collections, and 5 mins after getting off the phone with the today they got shut off. Talked to billing and said otherwise. They’re the same company and no one knows what they’re doing. This is not the first time having problems with them I recommend Verizon

I used to have FiOS but I really love Spectrum. They have friendly and helpful associates in the store, and the best part is the speed you pay for is what you actually get. Verizon ripped me off for months, acting like we were crazy or it was because of our devices that we were getting 10% of the speed we paid for. Well it looks like thats not a problem at all with Spectrum, so I guess its not my devices! Anyway, the only reason I took off a star is that its literally impossible to teach a person at this store over the phone. It goes to the main national spectrum line and they cant tell you anything about equipment availability (I wanted to switch out for a different cable box). However, once I went in the process was very easy.

You know its a scam. I know its a scam. But its also a monopoly, so were both stuck. Who would have thought wed ever wish for the good old days of Time Warner...It has been a real pleasure watching my rate double for no reason over the last 2 years, and also being advised I could pay $10 for faster internet in response to wanting my bill lowered. Ugh. The actions of a company that doesnt care what you think.We need local municipal internet. :(Update: I told them I wanted to cancel... to see if I could get their customer retention people to give me a better deal... they never called... so then I began actually looking around for an alternative, FIOS was available, and its been fantastic. 2/3rds the price, 10X the speed, and the customer service has actually been excellent. They drove away a customer of 15 years with bad prices/policies and customer service and made ZERO effort to try to keep me before, during or after I contacted them. These guys wouldve been out of business a decade ago if more competition existed. In the meantime, check if FIOS is available where you are.

I was here for an interview and was treated respectfully as a possible employee and as a guest. I witnessed the employees were so nice to all of the walk in customers. The greeter was very kind too. For years we had a cable box that was older I brought it back and requested a new box I ended up having to go through two of them before I got one that actually worked and the one thing that bothered me was theres no clock on the front of it and theyre claiming spectrum is that they no longer manufacture them with a clock The more we keep losing in this country the worse it seems to get but as far as spectrum service its very good

Walk in service upon arrival appears to work as you walk in and put your name on a list that shows on a”board” on the wall while you wait for a customer service rep to assist you.What is Not Fun is watching the 4 people whose names are after you on the board walk up to the counter and get the attention of a rep that does not say “Hey ... did you put your name in?? but instead they help them”. That is not fair to the rest of us waiting our turn! Furthermore.. some people require 3 reps to help them? Really? Once in a while look up and see the 26 people waiting!

Since Spectrum acquired Time Warner our quality of service has declined in every aspect. The cost of service has increased considerably, we no longer get channels that we did in the past, key channels in negotiation negotiated and unavailable, and after seven calls to spectrum customer service we finally had to drive to the local office to get the correct TV box, modem and router. The representatives have been friendly and professional, but are very uniformed and have given incorrect and conflicting answers to all of our inquiries. Spectrum is unequivocally the poorest service provider we have ever experienced.One star is too high a rating. We have had only negative experiences - considering our options.

Awesome interior. Great place to do all things SPECTRUM! (But) I went here for a cellphone upgrade. I got the run-around on three different occasions, bc their systems were down or the employee couldnt figure out their system. Or whatever you want to call it. Yet to mention being forced to switch to unlimited data for this 5G service that we dont even have yet in order to even proceed with the device I wanted. I was fed up. I called up customer service and they even said that this location was doing a great job with wasting my time too. So after three strikes your out, I went to another Spectrum location (that does phone upgrades) and went in and out first try lickety split. So thank you Spectrum Syracuse for the brilliant times we spent together. But Im def never going back there again. Not all spectrum locations can do these upgrades either. So def look or prepare yourself very well if you even can bc they do a great job of not letting you call the location too. I would say I appreciate the services given in a nut shell, but Spectrums network to workers knowledge of the network to Spectrums 5G forcefield is one huge Cluster. Oh yeah while on the phone with CS I was given a twenty dollar goodwill credit for everything dealt, but then that disappeared from my account with no reason of where it went. Good times
