I brought my car here for for steering fluid leak and check engine light. I told them I would be traveling to Texas and were honest if i should fix the car or not. They were straight up honest whether or not it was worth fixing it up based on my cars condition. I would recommend. The staff is super friendly especially Mr. Shane. He went above and beyond with helping me out. I would recommend to anyone that comes to this location that he is the one to ask for. He is the best and I couldn’t have gotten better care than him! 15/10!

Quick and accurate Auto Repairs done by skilled mechanics. I love bringing my car to this particular Midas. I always get a reasonably costing repair done right the first time. The mechanics keep you informed every step of the way and definitely give you the option to go ahead with the work or not rather than just diving in. Everything is well explained. Very neat and clean garage area. Very professional staff.

Overall, the gentleman was personable, but he tried to talk me into a cat converter replacement when I didnt need it (giving no other options). Ended up going to Mavis because I couldnt afford that, and they said the problem was the muffler as I had previously thought, and they passed my inspection at 1/10 of the price. Left a sour taste in my mouth, seemed like they didnt want to work with me.

EXCELLENT SERVICE. Shane, the manager, and the staff were very professional and courteous. I came in for general maintenance. Shane was very helpful and provided great service in a timely manner. The prices are fair and honest. They gave great advice to a non-Syracuse local like me. The shop and waiting area is clean and well maintained. Everything met COVID guidelines. All employees wore their masks. I plan to come back for any and all car services in the future. I will definitely recommend this location to my friends.

I took my truck in to get a quote for my exhaust and the employee that was responsible for pulling my truck in not only whipped it backwards out of its parking spot but aggressively proceeded forward to the bay where when parked...revved my engine 3 times. No excuse for that. Lost my business. The assistant manager Shane was very helpful though otherwise

I absolutely love this Midas location! As a young woman who really doesn’t know much about cars, it can be intimidating bringing my car to the shop and hoping I’m not getting taken advantage of. The folks at this Midas have been incredibly honest and reasonable with me time and time again. I appreciate them tremendously, and I trust them to not exaggerate or misrepresent the problems in my car to get more money out of me.

My go to place for oil change. Quick and friendly staff.

I went to Midas with a muffler problem. To have the entire thing replaced he said it could be possibly over $1600. I said no thank you. They ended up welding the brake in the pipe. Which cost considerably less. I truly believe I was OVERCHARGED for the labor as labor charge is a little over $100 an hour. I was charged 3 hours of labor. I’m pretty sure a welding job would take less than an hour. I gave the 2 stars instead of 1 because they were extremely nice and informative. They made you feel comfortable and confident that you came to the right place. I truly like the staff. But not the overcharge. I doubt I will return.

Went here to see if they could fix my front cowling that came loose during the storm as I was leaving on a trip. Even with no appt they got it right in, fixed AND topped off the air in my tires. I would definitely go here again. The guys were so nice!

I only went here because of the rave reviews. Instead, I only got swindled. Luckily, I got a second opinion.1. I took the car into get a flat fixed. They completely missed the screw in my tire and charged me to reseal the tire instead. I then had it fixed elsewhere.2. They also tried to charge $1000+ to replace my shocks, which Mavis told me didnt need to be done right now.3. They completely missed what was actually causing trouble with my car - the bearing and side bar.4. Told me they wouldnt validate a coupon i found on their website for their location.I dont normally write reviews, but felt that this was either blatant thievery or just plain incompetence. Having worked in an automotive shop in this past, you need to trust your mechanic. There is nothing to trust here.

I didnt get any work done there exactly but I was broken down 3 hours from home in the parking lot next door and the man I called on the phone was going to come over and help me get my car started just out of kindness. I appreciated it immensely. Got it started on my own but still...

Stopped in close to closing time with no appointment because I found a nail in my tire. The guys there put my spare on so I’d have a way to get home and called the next morning to tell me they could patch the tire. Extremely helpful and friendly staff!!

I had a great experience at this Midas. I booked my appointment online and for some reason it did not appear on their books. They fit me in right away, despite the mixup. The staff was kind, helpful, and professional.

Friendly staff that are very helpful and honest! I went here recently for a same day appointment for a battery replacement and oil change. They were open about pricing and worked rather quickly. The guy working up front, Shane, was helpful and very nice. I even got a phone call from them later on after my service to thank me for coming in! I moved to the area a couple years ago, and Ive tried a couple different repair shops. In those shops I didnt feel confident in the repairs suggested, so I googled repair shops nearby, and the Midas in DeWitt had very good reviews so I gave them a shot. I am so glad I did that because half the repairs the other shops said I needed were not needed. Jerry went over the car with me and showed me what needed fixing. Him and his staff were very polite and professional, and now you have a customer for life.

Going to a shop as a young woman that doesn’t know much about cars can be intimidating, but the people at Midas make it easy. They give helpful, friendly service and are honest and fair in the prices they give. They don’t pressure or upcharge. I only get work done on my car here. Additionally, their oil change loyalty program is great, especially if you use synthetic.

I had an amazing experience with this team. I made an appointment on relatively short notice that one of my headlights had gone out. Fortunately, I had the correct bulbs in my trunk, but I do not have the knowhow myself to change the bulbs. I checked into my appointment 10 minutes early, but they took me right away, pulled my car into the bay, and were done within 20 minutes! He checked to make sure that the headlight was in fact dead, and then made the swap. The gentleman didnt even charge me for the labor which I am so immensely grateful of. These guys will be my go to any time I have something go wrong with my car while Im at school!

Today going in for a brake estimate the techs Dan, Dan & Cliff showed me how bad my brakes really are, 😱OMG 😱I dont know why I waited until I felt the grinding, and in the process they fix a tire that had a screw in it (for free) & showed me how low the tread on the tires are, no wonder why I hydroplane on the highway when it rains 🤦‍♀️. The Assistant manager, Jeff was great too, he made sure I had a coupon to help me out 🤑. The money spent today makes me feel safe to have my family in the the car. These men know their job & they know our life is in their hands (so to speak), the level of professionalism is a great pleasure to see 😁THANKS GUYS YOU ARE THE BEST!!!

Everything I take my car there, there is a issue, they are seriously overpriced by a few hundred dollars compared to ANYWHERE ELSE! Its like they find something wrong with your car. Only reason I go is for the oil change quick and cheap. But everything I go I know they will try to sell me some BS service. I take whatever they say and go down the block.

Yesterday my step son took his car to Midas on Erie boulevard for an estimate on his exhaust. It needed from the converter back. 08 Subaru impreza. He also wanted an oil change. They came back with a $1600 bill. It took about an hour for him to call me and figure out that we didnt want the work done. They call him and ask if he made a decision and he says were coming to pick it up. We dont want anything done. They tell him that they already started the oil change. So my step son says fine do the oil. We go pick it up and then take it to Cole right down the street. They looked at the estimate and laughed. Midas charged exactly double the price for every single part on the estimate. Cole added it up and they came back with an estimate of $815 including tax. DO NOT GO TO MIDAS EVER. I would like very much if you see this post to share it. I feel that they saw my son and decided he would be a good victim. There is a reason there are no cars being worked on at Midas. Cole was very busy. I have been going to Cole since my first car in 1985. I suggest you use them too. They are the best price for exhaust in town. The manager said he was going to call them and thank them for the business.

Amazing store and staff! Was in town for a wedding and got a nail in my tire and on Saturday at 5pm these guys repaired my tire when sears, mr tire, and firestone wouldn’t do it. Best of all these guys did it in 20 minutes and no charge! I would give them 10 starts out of 5!! Thank you gentlemen!!

They quoted me a price for tire installation on the phone, and then charged me 20% more than the quote. Bait and switch. Stay away from Shane. He is a cheat!

These guys are really nice. Their diagnostics have been right on the money both times this year.They are a bit hard to find as their sign is small, but this makes them a great drop in place.

This was my first visit. I had a very good experience with this location and will occasionally bring my cars here for maintenance.

Went for an inspection, failed it for a tie rod and a wiper blade, wanted $300+ to fix, no thanks, for 40 bucks Ill freeze for a little while and fix myself. Wouldnt recommend this place to anybody. Do yourself a favor and support your local independent shops. Dont let the big chain stores plug you in...

Great place to get a clear explained car repair, show you the car parts that are needed and dont keep you behind the wall which I thought was great.

Went in to get my entire exhaust system put back on cause it fell off my subaru. they at first said i was looking at a 1,400.00 job cause the whole thing needed to be replaced. My car was loud as hell too when i brought it in too. anyhow then they said maybe like 500.00. then they wound up putting it all together for me for 100.00 somehow and my car is quiet again. so ya pretty cool.
