Context: Policy lapsed due to mistaken non-payment. The account was linked to a bank account which was compromised and closed and i forgot to update payment and missed the letter letting me know. Thats my fault......But being told straight out by Tom, our agent of 7+ years, that i cant help you, go find a new agent as his reply when I asked how to fix this... strikes me as just awful form.Told my new agent about this situation, and he said: Why wouldnt he have called you to let you know there were payment problems...? or just helped you get payment straightened out when you brought it up? Good questions, I wondered the same thing.3 Star because as awful as I think the relationship ended, the 7 years we worked with Tom were fine.
