Im very thankful to have found a repair shop that provides such honest and reasonably priced service. I randomly stopped by because of the maintenance req light in my car. In the end, not only did they give me a big break on the work they did, but they gave great recommendations for what repairs I should keep up and what needed to be done as soon as I could. Very friendly and kind, Id highly recommend this shop.

Dave and Tim run a first rate shop!I needed a new motor for my van and nobody else wanted to do the job for me so I took a chance and called Davco Dave said bring it in and we’ll look at it so I had it towed to them they diagnosed it had me stop by and they showed me the damage that the old motor had and explained everything thoroughly and WE decided to get a new Blueprint motor.So we decided on what motor to buy and left the van there for the winter and told them to take there time motor came in December and they installed it professionally found some other issues not related to the motor and at the last minute I had Tim change out the rear gears to a more hi way suited gear.I told them I would pick it up at the end of March they called and said it was all set.They never pressured me for anything including $$ and there estimate was right on target.I picked it up today and boy I liked there work!I’m very happy with Davco and would recommend them highly in addition to the workmanship described above I would like to thank Linda and Jill for there pleasant manor and patience while communicating with me throughout this process.

Today was my first day hearing of Davco Performance Automotive. Lets just say I will be a returning customer! Linda was so sweet and helpful! Around 1:20 P.M. I contacted the shop asking if they were able to look at a car because it broke down and was leaking fluid. I told Linda my location, she told me I was around the corner from the shop. She assisted me with putting fluid in the car over the phone so that I could make it to the shop. Once I arrived at the shop the had the car fixed within a few hours. Other places couldnt get me in until next week. The prices are unbelievable! Best prices in town! On top of all of this, they also stayed open past their closing time to install windshield wipers for me at an unbeatable price! I will definetly return and tell all of my friends and family about the wonderful service that I received! Thank you so much!

I was told by other shops that I needed a new transmission. While I was shopping for estimates they took the time to research the issue and offered me an option that was less expensive and as effective (possibly more so) than replacement. I really appreciate the honesty and extra time they spent. I definitely recommend this shop and all of the helpful and friendly people I met there.

Tim went above and beyond to help my son when his muffler fell off a few blocks away. Not only did he leave his shop to rig up the muffler enough to drive it to the shop, he fixed it immediately and had my son on his way in no time. Will definitely go back! Thank you!

I have been bringing my vehicles to Davco for about 2 1/2 years now and I am extremely pleased with the great service I receive. They are honest and upfront about what repairs are necessary and what repairs can wait. They have always found and fixed the issue, whatever the issue may be. And on top of that, they are personable, friendly, and trustworthy. Thankful to have such a great place to bring my cars!

Never take any vehicle here. This is the worst repair place I have ever been to. The fist time I went in it was to repair a power steering fluid leak. The second time was to repair the same leak. The third time was the final chance for this horrible failure of a place to repair it. Every time it was to deal with the hoses that they replaced the first time. When they brought me the keys this time the first thing they said was it wasnt our fault. It was the clamps on the hoses that we replaced were broken. So we did nothing wrong. So you have no reason to be mad at us. They then tried to tell me that I would soon get more problems with my power steering and I should just have them repair it. Making comments like if you continue to drive this car without letting us repair it then you are just putting you and your families life in danger. They are so shady that they tried to guilt trip me into doing more repairs on my van (that they should have fixed the first time they worked on it) just to get more money from me. I will never take anything to this place again. I will repeatedly say to anyone looking for any type of repairs. NEVER EVEN CONSIDER THIS FAILURE OF A REPAIR TECHNICIAN.Update to this review. It has only been two months since they did the last repair on the power steering leaking. The fluid has started leaking again. The excuse for the multiple times it leaked was it was illegal to remove the original parts of the van. I still have to say to anyone even looking at this place is never use this failure at everything they do.

Wanted to bring my car in to get the muffler removed. If you guys werent feel comfortable doing it, just be upfront about it. Instead I was given a bunch of condescending excuses like how its illegal and I wont pass inspection. If you had given me a chance to explain, I wouldve informed you that on my vehicle it NEITHER illegal nor would it fail inspection (with a plethora of evidence). It doesnt even void the original BMW warranty...

Prompt, professional, knowledgeable, caring! I could go on and on. This was my first visit to Davco Performance Automotive. Dave, Linda and the auto technicians were great! They went over and above the call of duty to help me and explained everything in plain language. I was also very surprised by their pricing. Their rates are fair and didnt leave feeling as though I had been ripped off or had work done that was unnecessary. I highly recommend this shop for your automotive needs and will be back for other routine auto maintenance myself.

I own 3 older model vehicles, Davco has all of them running like tops!! They dont try to sell you things you dont need and recommend what you do need. From simple oil changes to more complex drive train repairs and everything else in between. Proficient, honest and done right the first time. I wouldnt go anywhere, but to Davco!

Excellent customer service. Very fair pricing. Also, They do not try and run a bill up. I was on a very tight budget with a handful of problems. They let me know what was a priority and what was able to be pushed back. They were up front friendly honest and really let me make all decisions with out trying to pull more money out of me.This is not my first time using them and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I was totally satisfied with both the work that was done on my vehicle and the information and guidance I was given by the owner. The air conditioning repair was excellent. I also requested advice on the overall condition of my high mileage vehicle so as to gather information on whether I can keep the car running and avoid a car payment. Found these guys through a google search. They were nothing short of wonderful. Family owned and operated and they were $200 cheaper for the repairs we needed than anyone else. They were very nice, and didn’t try to upsell us on things they knew we didn’t need. We asked them to take a look at the transmission and to try and diagnose a sound and grinding that was coming from the drivers sode tire area. They did exactly that and told us exactly what it would take to fix it. They got us right in, and even offered to drive us back to the house to get our second vehicle while they worked on the first. What they quoted us for a price before they did the work was exactly what they charged us at the end. No surprise labor charges or random parts that weren’t needed. They also have a buy 5 get the 6th free oil changes. We’ll definitely be coming here from now on!!

I was looking for a new mechanic to give me a second opinion on the van my wife just got. Compared to the other mechanic I went to. Davcos is very well priced and extreamly professional and fast. Very clean and quiet. They run every test possible for you to make sure you know whats going on with your car. They brake every thing done in simpler terms for you to fully understand. They will go over the car from front to back with you and tell you what needs to be done rite away or what can wait a while. I have finally found a family mechanic that I trust and will bring my car back to over and over. I highly recommend them to everyone and especially ones that are planing on buying a new or used car from a privet seller.

Had a great experience at Davco... my car a Cadillac SRX needed a new engine according to the local Cadillac dealer. We took it to Davco for a second opinion they gave us options that were affordable. Thanks to their honesty, integrity and workmanship my engine is back up and running. They know what they are doing at DAVCO.

Great service and very up front about what needs to be done and what it will cost. Ive never had these guys try to slip in a sale for service that I didnt ask for, only make suggestions about what to look out for in the future.

Two occasions with two separate vehicles; one received what turned out to be unneeded repairs, one received repairs that would not have been made if all needed repair had been disclosed up front. Even after all that was still not fixed correctly. Very deceptive business practices. Same issues as other reviews with unprofessional phone staff.I dont recommend this business.

I went to this shop because it had these 5 star reviews. I called up and told them I had my own parts and had the codes pulled from autozone and I needed a o2 sensor. I bought 2 bosch o2 sensors. I also needed the rear brake backing plates replaced and the parking brakes needed fixing. I had all the parts for this. They told me they would look at my parts when i got there. I had the truck towed to there shop. They told me a $99.00 diagnostic would be required even though I already had the trouble codes. They stated their $6000.00 scanner tool was better than autozones $100.00 one. I cant argue with that so I said ok to the scan. They called me up later told me the drivers front hub was bad and all the brakes were RUSTED needed to be replaced. I had all my brakes replaced by midas in 2009-2010 including calipers. They also figured out it needed at least 1 o2 sensor. SHOCKER I knew that before i spent the $99.00 diagnostic fee. They said hub would cost $398.00 . $142.00 for sensor and then informed me they couldnt use any of my parts due to not being able to warranty them. I can believe that also, but Im sure some of that was because they get a huge markup on parts too. But they are a shop and have to pay employees. I told them to do the hub and 1 sensor. Then 10 min later I called back and canceled the hub. They didnt start it yet because their tech called and couldnt find the wheel lock socket. The lady at the desk had it and didnt bother to give it to the tech or tell him she had it. They already had the o2 sensor done. so I called my nephew and he brought me down to pick up the truck. They decided to charge me 1/2 hour labor on brake inspection cost $43.00. ARE YOU KIDDING ME took um 1/2 hour to look at the brakes. The lady then stated she pulled 2 techs off other jobs to get mine done. They didnt even start the hub yet. it was 10 minutes from my calls. Anyway I told um to charge me and Id never be back there. Then the tech argued over brakes failing inspection because of only rust. Then 10 minutes in he says they were outta spec and brakes were spongy. Its an 8000 lb truck its not going to stop on a dime, funny thing was he didnt even mention I had a abs/brake light on in the dash . I took the abs fuse out because the abs sensors screw up in our salty weather . so an easy fix is to take out the abs fuse. So now the lady takes my credit card and then tells me I didnt sign it OMG now shes being ANAL. 5 min argument on that. I show my driver license. everything matches. she keeps at it. finally we leave and I can hear um laughing. total cost to replace 1 o2 sensor 307.00
