We used Thunderbird to build our pool in an unusual back yard. The largest area we had was off more on our side yard. We also used them to add pavers, a fire pit, and a tortoise area, and are extremely pleased with the results. Now, when I look out the sliding glass doors to my side yard, I feel like I am at a resort. The pool is fantastic, the quality is superb, and we also use them for maintenance. Highly recommended!

We reached out to Thunderbird Pools & Spas in the beginning of August of this year and arranged for a salesman or consultant to come to our home. This was done after visiting the company website and viewing the gallery of pool designs and receiving a pricing guide. My husband and I came up with a general idea of design, which by the way is nothing over the top, just a free form pool with a spa, and agreed upon a budget of $50-60,000. This fell in line with the category of pools on their website. The first consultant Mort came out to our home, sat down with us and discussed our vision for our pool design. My husband and I were very clear on want vs needs and very clear that our top $$ was no higher than 60,000 even if that meant tweaking things a little to fit budget. He took measurements of the yard and stated that he would come up with a design and quote and have to us in a couple days, further stating it would be no problem to get us what we wanted within our budget. It took longer than a couple of days, but the quote came back.....and it came back at $76,000. We were left to figure out the invoicing on our own because multiple (more than 3 times) attempts to contact Mort over the next week went unanswered. No return calls, no return emails. We simply wanted to do a second review, discuss what needed to be cut. We finally reached Mort and he agreed to re-work the plans, but was going on a 2 week vacation and was not returning until after 9/2. Everyone deserves a vacation, so we were fine with that. After 9/2, again no return calls and no return emails after 1 week of trying to make contact. I was so frustrated at being ignored that I finally called the company and asked to speak to a sales manager. I was told there was no such thing. I asked to speak to the owner and the male receptionist put me on hold and advised me that the owner said they would send out another rep. I was a little put off that the owner refused to speak to me, (I was told her name was Lisa and she was too busy - but told the receptionist just send out another rep). With that said, I was grateful for another rep. The second rep Chris came out within days, so I was hopeful that things were on the right track and our experience was changing for the better. Chris once again sat with us, listened to our needs vs wants and the need to stay within our budget of $50-60,000. Chris seemed to be more invested in listening to us and did a thorough measurement of our yard and spent an hour or more discussing design with my husband and myself. He further stated that he felt he could re design, stay within our budget and would definitely have a design to us within 7 days. THAT WAS 3 WEEKS ago and we have not heard a another word from Chris OR Thunderbird Pools and Spas. Because this is the second rep with no follow through, we have decided that we shouldnt have to waste our time and chase the business and make numerous phone calls to find out what is happening. My husband and I decided to visit Presidential Pools and have had an incredible experience thus far. They have been attentive, communicative, and came up with a beautiful design within our budget. We are making the choice to continue with Presidential because it has become very clear that Thunderbird Pools and Spas is not interested in our business, much less even having the decency to communicate that to us. I have never had a more disappointing customer service experience in my life. You all look like you do good work, its too bad, it seems as though you arent interested in everyones business.

Thunderbird Pools did a great job in my backyard. The entire crew and staff was professional and helpful. From the office and admin staff, Mort the design specialist, to Joe and his crews were all top notch. I would highly recommend this business to anyone in need of a pool in the Phoenix area.

Wanted to give a shout out to Mike P. He has been so kind, patient, helpful and knowledgeable. We got quotes from over 8 different pool companies and Mike won us over. We did our homework before signing a contract and so far we are very happy and pleased with Thunderbird! Thank you! :) excited to see our final product.

We interviewed 5 companies before settling in Thunderbird. There are so many pool build horror stories, and it is sooo much money. Its important to get it right. We did. These folks are great. That doesnt mean there werent hiccups along the way, but each time they handled the issues that arose with integrity and respect.We changed some of our plans early on in the process. That created the hiccups along the way. Each time we noticed a difference, we reached out and the corrected the issue perfectly. No complaining, hedging, or delay. They fixed the issue, sometimes even going past what I felt they needed to do to make it right. They had higher standards than me, and I appreciated that because I dont know enough about pools to have a realistic and high standard.They werent the cheapest bid we got, but they were not the highest either. In fact, our highest bid stressed their high quality parts so much that it came down to a comparison of parts and specs to make our final decision. Thunderbird used the same quality, high spec, equipment but never stressed it to us. Our 2 inexpensive bidders definitely used a lower level of equipment, so beware of the lowest bidders, if you plan to live with your pool for a long time.

When I initially reached out to Thunderbird pools for a consultation, the response time was pretty quick. Some one contacted me and set up a time for a sales person to come out and go over what my project would be. Unfortunately that is where this company fell flat. The sales person who came out to my house was not very professional, at all, gave off the impression that he was not concerned about what we wanted for our pool and backyard project, but more concerned about the longevity of the company and how theyre going to be in business regardless of what we do with our space. It was a little off-putting to say the least, but I thought maybe well get a good design from them and at least see where they come in price wise. I texted my email to the sales person so that he could come up with a design of what we want and a price and havent heard anything since. I know for me personally, with a project this big, I dont want to feel like Im not important and definitely do not want to have to hunt anyone down for a response for anything.Needless to say, I was a little bummed with the whole ordeal because from the looks of things, they potentially do some pretty cool work....that is if you can get that far.Maybe youll have better luck than I did.

We chose Thunderbird Pools because they built pools for two of our friends and they were highly satisfied. Chris G. was great to work with on the design. When construction began the superintendent, Teddy, was there almost every day. He kept us informed of what was happening and the schedule. Communication with this company is great! We were kept informed every step of the way. The office responded to our inquiries quickly. Everyone was easy to work with, friendly and professional. We know we made the right decision for Thunderbird to design and build our pool.

Amazing company owners and build went smooth. Warranty repairs have been so easy and painless for some minor stuff. Highly recommend.

Breach of Contract: Pool Service contract signed for 6 months of pool cleaning and chemicals at $119 per month. We were given one month free for having built our pool with them and another month free for writing a review. They serviced the pool for 8 weeks, during which time, we felt that the cleaner was rushing through the job (usually at home for about 7 minutes) and not completing all items thoroughly. One time he even had to return to our home after he left because he was rushing so much, he left some of his equipment. We asked for a more experienced cleaner or someone to come to the home to show him how to do it. Thunderbird insisted that E (supervisor) was out on December 18, however, I have a text that shows that he was not. When we continued to ask for supervision, they just stopped service and refused to complete the 6 month contract they signed. We have filed complaints with Arizona ROC and BBB.edit:response to Thunderbird Pools comment:As you can see by the attached email screenshot (may not viewable on mobile devices) from your maintenance coordinator, and as I stated in the review above, the two free months were part of the 6 month contract. No check has been cashed at this time. Check with your accountant. And we never said you were a terrible company. We just said that we asked for accountability and you refused to provide it.

All I need to say about Thunderbird Pools is WOW. However, I want to give everyone a better understanding of what choosing Thunderbird is like and why it is the best decision we made in 2020. From the beginning, the design of our pool was immaculate, Chris outperformed with a beautiful layout that made our dream home even dreamer. Once construction started the office and Joe were top notch. If you love communication, be prepared to be communicated with through every step of the way. I could not be happier with the finished product it is everything we wanted. We are also doing their service plan because we know they will take care of their work. Thank you Thunderbird Pools my wife and I are beyond grateful.

I called these guys because they were suppose to have this fantastic rep. After filling out the email form requesting a designer contact us and explaining we were looking to get a basic pool installed with just a couple of minor extras as we have a smaller yard. I received a response from a sales rep explaining that they were currently not interested in jobs that didnt have at least a 40k dollar minimum budget! How rude. We are an older couple close to retirement and dont need all the bells and whistles (or payment) but bottom line is if your not going to spend a ton of money these guys arent interested in your business. So sad a company places the importance of a customer on the amount they spend. What they dont realize is I know lots of people that will be asking me who did my pool and many of my friends think nothing of spending money on something like this because they DO have children and bigger yards. I will be referring those people to the company that doesnt mind building a small pool. Times are changing and the economy IS going to turn for the worse. Our home is paid for and we are paying cash for our pool. These guys will be looking for work while Im drinking margaritas pool side.My response to yours would be that you change your website, remove the low end pool builds and state boldly that you are a custom pool builder and do not construct basic pools. My feeling is QUALITY means more than just your product. A quality pool builder would deal with each and every customer as important and not judge someone by the size of their (yard) in this case. Fortunately we have found another major player in the Phoenix area with a great rep that has no problem about basic pools and no excuses about supply and labor shortages. They did a fantastic remodel for us years ago at another home, should have called them first but (word of mouth) a friend said call Thunderbird. So clean up your image and if your going to be a money grubber at least be honest about it.

Initially ground broke last June. 10 months later they are still not done. It is a nice looking pool yet countless problems, 5 different people from Thunderbird including the owner, gave us time table completion dates. Still not done. Having built 3 homes, a business and 2 other pool/spa combos and can say it looks nice and their dragging it out took the customer satisfaction away. They are good people w good intent yet ineffective communicators, they made a number of significant mistakes, they are ambivalent about keeping yard plants alive and they are still not done. If your expectations of communication are moderate to high, consider other companies. I’m embaresed for them: they left construction debris on our front yard for months next to their sign. For us, they didn’t live up to their started reputation. My guess is when the customer isn’t satisfied, they procrastinate rather than set aside new jobs so they can truest finish the old ones.

This company is an A++++. We moved in from another state and had several pool quotes. We weren’t looking so much at price (although they very competitive) as we were who wanted the business. This company turned out to be outstanding. After we chose them after they were aggressive on getting back to us construction began and never stopped. When they say they will be there they will !!! We are very happy with the outcome and decided to use them for weekly cleaning as well. We can only speak from our experience and it was a joy to be able to speak directly to the owners it gives you a piece of mind should something go wrong it will be corrected. Thanks Thunderbird pools from the top all the way down great people. If your looking to install a poolwe highly recommend giving them a call.

I have had Thunderbird Pools take care of my pool for many years now and they are absolutely top notch. They are reliable, responsible, and very fairly priced. Thunderbird Pools does quality work every time. They do what they say they are going to do. They have come through for me when I had a mechanical problem and got right on it! Also, I love my tech, Matthew, as he always has a smile.I also want to say, if you are thinking about a new pool or rebuilding your pool I would highly suggest you consult with and hire Thunderbird Pools for that. I have seen some of the pools they have created over the years and they are gorgeous.

After many months of searching, we decided to build our pool with Thunderbird. We are so happy we did. They did an amazing job and we didnt have to break the bank to get what we wanted! Everything was handled professionally and in a timely manner. We have even continued with them for our monthly service. We would highly recommend Thunderbird Pools to anyone looking to build a custom pool.

Thunderbird and its customer service is second to none. Long story short, there was a mistake made on our project that delayed our end date. Starting from the top down, Thunderbird more than made up for it. Getting a pool is a huge undertaking and a huge investment. From the sales experience, to picking finishes, to corrections on any issues, we were well taken care of. They understand the investment and I really feel they want to build dream pools for their customers.Dont be fooled by competitors who offer lower base prices. Thunderbird is still very competitive and offers a better product and will give you personal attention and answer any questions you may have. Chris, our salesman, spent over 2 hours designing our pool at our kitchen table. Low pressure and very cool to work with.

After several personal friends recommendations and a lot of research, we decided to use Thunderbird Pools for our first consultation, and we reached out to them on 2/113/11, Mike, the designer for Thunderbird Pools came out for our scheduled consultation (1-month initial contact) for a new swimming pool and hot tub build. He listened to what we wanted and answered all our questions. Seemed like there was not going to be any issues with him but never made it far enough to see a design. He followed up with us quickly.This review is not about Mike, it is about Cohl Workman, the owner of Thunderbird Pools. I would give Mike a good review and hope that he finds a better company to design for. What Cohl promises on his website, i never saw and was absolute disappointed.3/12, Mike contacted us and asked if he could bring the owner out to double check the sloping issues in our yard to make sure there were no issues. I said no problem and it was set for 3/15 for any time after 2pm.3/15, Mike asked if we could reschedule to 3/16 at 1pm and I said that was fine.3/16, Mike let me know that the owner was running late, and they would be 10 minutes late and I said thats fine. They assumed I was not home and just went in the backyard which was fine. I went out there and Mike said hey how you are you doing while Cohl, never even acknowledged me and seemed irritated that he was there.I asked them if there were any concerns with the sloping and told Mike not to worry about the backwash hard line as we found another option which quickly got Cohls attention. He asked what do you mean backwash, so I explained. He got defensive and said all of my filters are Cartridge filters and if you dont like it, use someone who does” I asked are you actually serious right now, and he said yes. I said that I wasnt interested in a cartridge filter and he said, Well I guess were done here then and left.The designer asked if I wanted to go any further with the project and I said absolutely not while he just stood there looking like what just happened. I went to the front as Cohl was leaving and I said that was real professional as he asked what, I was just getting a drink from my truck, I wasnt leaving. Right, you just said were done here and left 30 seconds ago.Then he approached me and told me that I was not going to tell him how to build his pools. (um, do you mean my pool?) He said that he was a professional luxury pool builder that has been in business 18 years and has always used cartridge filters for his pools and that he didnt plan on ever changing that. He never said why he doesnt or talk to me more about them to maybe change my mind on it.I had nothing else to say as Cohl was getting back in his truck. I told Mike thanks for bringing Cohl out now instead of half way through our project as he really showed his true colors. I said thanks but you lost an entire build because of a pool filter. Sad, but I am glad that no money was wasted here.***UPDATE*** To Cohls responseIt wasnt necessary only what you put in YOUR pools that was the problem, its mostly how you handled your business when you were here. You acted like a child and as the owner is completely unacceptable.

I will agree with ALL the low ratings given to this company. For starters, a guy walks to house, I say you must be Cole?, replies no I am Chris. Says Cole is on his way, show me the pool, I walk him to the pool. Walks around, looks around, and asks how much you looking to spend? I say 20-30, we want a simple pool, replies are pools start at 30k. I tell him what we want, and I will be removing whats needed, he says, ok well save wherever you can. Looks at my equipment and says if we want to switch to underwater filtration, I say yes, says we will need new equipment. Another guy shows up, no greeting, no name, and speaks with Chris for few minutes, decides to ask me what we want, I had to explain everything once again. They both walk around and take pictures, writes on his paperwork, asks me my name, email and phone number. Says he will email me pool design Im a week, and both start to leave. I say thank you gentlemen, Chris says see you around. Very interesting employees, no rapport whatsoever, no concern for the customer, and no idea who they are with. I am a 22 year ACTIVE DUTY UNITED STATES SERVICEMEMBER RETIREE, and to be be treated as if I were nothing, unfortunately I will not spend 20-30k with this company, I will pay 50k cash with a well known pool builder. I would recommend Thunderbird Pools and Spas to EVERYONE! Their customer service is outstanding, and after getting bids from multiple pool companies, they are well within reason with their pricing!

Ended up going with thunderbird pools after getting several bids. Chris B. did a great job listening to what we wanted and designing it to fit in the yard. it looks almost exactly as we discussed.Cynthia, the construction coordinator was great about communicating what was coming up, once construction started. she was very timely in addressing issues and following up with information. her commitment to her job and customers was greatly appreciated.during the time of build there were a few hiccups but thunderbird was responsive to addressing issues. now complete, there is a warrenty issue which will require a repair. hoping it will go quickly and smoothly so that everything is ready once it gets warm enough. am continuing with them for maintenance to ensure it is properly done and any further issues can be addressed.

The pandemic has set everyone back but I’m very happy with the communication and customer service. Thank you Thunderbird pools

Cohl Workman promises on his website that his customers will not be disappointed. He is lying. We are VERY DISAPPOINTED. And when we emailed Cohl directly to let him know on January 29, 2021, we were ignored. We spent almost $50,000 on our pool and landscaping with this company and we completely regret it. It all began when our salesperson, Chris (who was mentioned in several other reviews) stopped responding to us. When we finally got a hold of someone, they told us that Chris was no longer with the company. A reputable company would have reached out to his customers to let them know! Then came the delays during our construction…. Our gas permit failed because someone in the office put the wrong permit number on the application with the city. Instead of just admitting their mistake and apologizing, they just denied that it had happened. Once I confirmed with the city that the correct permit number had been put on the application, we passed. Then we failed the pool barrier safety inspection because no one at Thunderbird gave us correct information about what was needed. Lisa did refund us $300 towards the door locks with the caveat that they were not admitting fault. After the Pebblesheen was completed and before the pool was filled, we contacted Lisa about our concerns that there had been so many subcontractors used and that we had concerns about quality control and the mess that several of the crews had left. We took pictures and had to clean it up ourselves. Our supervisor, Joe, said he was no longer involved once it gets to Pebblesheen. We asked that Lisa or Cohl come out to inspect our pool. Lisa responded stating her complete confidence in their process, completely ignoring the fact that I told her outright that I was not satisfied. She just continued to tell me what a great job they do and not acknowledging that I was not at all happy with the work. Once the pool was completed and started up on December 1, Chris, the orientation tech, agreed that the coloring of the pebblesheen did not look right but that we needed to wait until our 30 day inspection on December 28. On this day, Elliot, service manager, agreed again that the color was off and that it would need to be drained, acid washed again and then refilled. When I called the office to try to set this up, I was told that the company they subcontract for the Pebblesheen had to come out to inspect and write a report before this warranty work could be done. This was done and we spoke directly to the subcontractor to set this up for the end of February. We are very disappointed that this company touts themselves as a family business and yet, their response to customer complaints is just to keep saying what a great job they do and not take responsibility for their mistakes. We DO NOT RECOMMEND Thunderbird Pools! We have just reached out to our personal attorney to discuss taking legal action.Response to owner comment:Cohl,Now you are showing your true colors. It is your son who was rude on the phone. Lee was very unprofessional and threatened to fire our pool cleaner and your subcontractor for the Pebblesheen. We have never met you or talked to you, although we did ask to several times. This is the first response we have gotten from you, just sad that we had to post on a public review site to get you to reach out. That is truly poor customer service. We never asked for anything free and we certainly never asked to be paid off. We just wanted the work done properly and fixed when it was not.

In my original phone call I spoke to Allie, she was helpful and chatty, super nice. I got a call back from a salesperson who was nice but never initiated a meeting, even after I asked him if we should meet to discuss pool design a little more. Last email was on July 1 and have never heard back from him. Disappointed in his level of service and hoping this isnt reflective of the entire company.Update-Still have never heard back from Salesperson nor has anyone responded to this review. Disappointing.

Mort came over for a quote and was on time and professional. He listened to all our family’s needs and wants and created an amazing design. Even though we did not end up going with Dolphin Pools I can definitely recommend their business and their professionalism.

From design to construction, everyone at Thunderbird pools has been a pleasure to work with. Their excellent customer service is the reason we ultimately chose to build with them and we were not disappointed. The entire staff is accommodating and attentive, and quick to answer any questions or put any worries at ease. I have to give a big shout out to Kyle for being so attentive, helpful, and available throughout the entire construction process. His knowledge and attention to detail really put our mind at ease. Our pool is stunning, our water is so BEAUTIFULLY blue, and the tile we chose in on point! Thank you Thunderbird Pools, we really couldnt be happier!

Ok, so this will be a lengthy review from a first time pool buyer. After some communication issues in the beginning we had Chris come out and talk about the pool what we wanted and price points. He was fantastic. He answered all of our questions and provided his cell phone to contact him when we were ready to start.Fast forward to when were ready. I called Chris and let him know. He finalized plans and provided the information for financing. Based on the quote financed it and started.Talking price they were extremely reasonable.when compared to others. When changes were made on the fly there were no issues and things were handled quickly.Construction phase: Joe was fantastic and kept me in the loop every step of the way.Once we got to the part of the decking is when some of the issues started. Communication between office staff and me went down hill. As Joe wasn’t as involved at this point. The communication between the crew and the office made it extremely difficult to know when someone was going to be at the house what was supposed to be done etc. now on the flip side man that crew huddled and got stuff done.Now to the pool service. Different Chris comes out to do the 30 day inspection and make sure the chemicals are correct. After the 30 I was moved to Jesse as our pool tech. So far he has been great.After the 30 day inspection we noticed some staining on the pebble surface. At the time of this review they have started the warranty process which is seamless on my end. If we have issues I will update the review.I would hire them again, and would recommend them. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was due to communication issues.Looking forward to summer

I have used this company since 2008 they put pebbletex in my pool they added a salt machine and now they added a hand rail. There people both in office and on job are very professional and they dot mind answering questions you might have. They really work with you. This is the company to go to for all your pool needs.

I hired Thunderbird Pools and Spa in April 2019. My yard is somewhat small. Thunderbird Pools put in a pool, gas fireplace, gas grill and plenty of patio space for my furniture. This was my first pool and I had no knowledge of what the process was. Thunderbird Pools were so knowledgeable and walked me through every step along the way. I could call them anytime with questions and they would answer in less than a day. Even after the pool is finished they will help you with questions or come out to your property to show you what you need to do to maintain your pool. Thank you Thunderbird Pools and Spa!

The success of their company is their values - they always want to do the right thing, they are trustworthy, and they take pride in their pools. Special thanks to James Mallory who is awesome. How many pool companies, after the sale is complete, follows up almost immediately to help you with anything you need, at no cost? From helping with chemicals or the equipment, and knowing that you could have hired them to do the service? I was lucky to have been referred to them by a neighbor. They are the greatest!

Our experience with Thunderbird Pools was great. Our project was just completed last week and our kids are enjoying the pool to the max. The ground crew was nice and Joe was a pleasure to work with. He was always quick to reply to our questions and getting back to us with updates as needed. I definitely recommend going with this company if youre looking to build a pool.

The work was completed on time and the pool looks and performs beautifully. This is the second time I have used Thunderbird Pools to build for me (that speaks for itself). Our pool experience was great from the first day we walked in the showroom door! Carlos was the kind of salesman we like - no pressure. He made us feel more like friends than someone he was selling to. He helped design the exact pool we wanted to fit our needs! The owners also make us feel like friends, not clients. Any time we had a question or problem, they were right there making sure things were made right. All the crews that were constructing the pool were very professional from start to finish. Couldnt of asked for a better experience! Our pool is absolutely beautiful!

We have 2 properties...another company did our other pool and Thunderbird did the house we currently live in. I will recommend Thunderbird to everyone and anyone I meet. They even took care of problems we had at our other house, when I couldnt get the other company to respond. We designed the pool and from start to finish, the communication was absolutely outstanding. Even when it was done, Cole came out and didnt like the looks of a certain part, so they re-did it...free to us. Absolutely amazing. They finished our pool last year before winter, so this is the first year weve gotten to enjoy it all summer. We absolutely LOVE IT!!! Were they the cheapest? NO. Were they the most expensive? NO. We just had some pool plumbing work completed by Thunderbird and were very pleased. This is our second time using Thunderbird - we also used them last year for some other work. We highly recommend them. The work they do is very professional. They explain everything theyre going to do so there are no surprises and no confusion The prices are very fair and they stand behind their work. We would not hesitate to call them again.

Our pool was completed a few weeks ago. What makes this company great is the employees. They are some of the nicest and coolest folks you will ever meet! Great work and thank you for returning all of my texts/calls in a timely manner. With construction, there will always be a few bumps in the road. The very few issues were quickly resolved by the company to our satisfaction. We LOVE our pool and thank you T-Bird for making it happen!

They installed my pool last year and I am extremely pleased with the quality. I had minor tile and grout issues after installation and they were very responsive to getting it done to my satisfaction. A year later I had a pool pump issue that turned out to be a user error and they came out to fix it free of charge. I would highly recommend Thunderbird Pools.

They have a beautiful show room, professional, courteous and a competent staff!Their price was very competitive! I do not hesitate and recommending them, nor would I hesitate in hiring them again if I had another pool to build in the future. The team at Thunderbird started our pool on the first week of Feb and finished at the end of March. We were very impressed with the way things went. Communication was awesome and we were kept in the loop if there was ever a slight schedule change. Cant say enough about the start up process either. James was awesome and took care of any last minute things before wrapping up the build process. We research multiple pool companies and would choose thunderbird again!

We werent sure we could fit a decent looking pool in our yard. Les did a great job evaluating our needs and wants, then he drew up a great looking plan. After several changes while we checked out options, we signed the contract and watched the magic begin. Because we had a special event and some scheduling issues for our new home, we were very pushy about getting the pool done by a certain date. Even after being told our deadline might be unrealistic, the gang in the office worked relentlessly to get our pool done a week before my unrealistic deadline.They were constantly in contact with us to make sure we knew what our construction schedule was and to make us feel comfortable about what was going on. Every time we spoke with them on the phone, I felt like I was talking to family. They were so friendly, I actually looked forward to the calls. Then, when the pool was finished, it wasnt just dropping us to figure things out. The service manager has been out twice to teach us about the pool and make sure we knew how everything worked. He also promised to check on us in 30 days.We are also using the monthly service and have the pleasure of our technician Brandon, who stood with me and answered all my dumb questions.about the self cleaning jets. The quality of the workmanship on our tumbled travertine deck is incredible and it remains reasonably cool, even in the 114 degree temperatures we have been having lately.Our home builder has even brought some prospective home buyers by to look at the quality of our pool.I just cant say enough about our Thunderbird experience.

This was our third pool build, two with another well established valley builder. Thunderbird by far was the best experience of all. The timeline for completion was on point, the staff was very personable and all contractors professional and their follow-up service is stellar. It was like building a pool with a friend! Highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

From start to finish, Thunderbird Pools really made us feel like our business was important and appreciated. The owners are super cool people, and their staff is excellent. Cynthia kept us up to date with the timetables, and went above and beyond to get the pool done early. Lee and Trent were both very helpful with onsite questions/concerns. Chris is a very hard worker and even stayed until past 9pm one night to get some work done to make sure inspection would pass. We cant say enough great things. The pool looks awesome, and we would be proud to recommend them to anyone!

We started off by visiting numerous pool companies. Met with Gary our salesman, at Thunderbird Pools and we felt very comfortable. Not pushy, just answered all our questions. When we left we both new that we had chose our pool builder!Every aspect of this build was not only very interesting for us, it was also a fun and exciting experience for us!Meeting every one of our contractors, talking with them, made us feel like we were part of this build.All the employees at Thunderbird treated us with the utmost respect. The stress that Cynthia has to go though scheduling, has to be brutal! We contacted Thunderbird when we were considering putting in a pool. They sent out a designer who took measurements and talked to us about what we wanted. He was going to draw up some estimates and do a rendering, then get back to us...only we never heard back from them? Still havent heard back after over a month. Guess we are going with someone else!

Too much to said I dont want to miss anything .. first I researched for a new pool for about 2 year with so many companies probably minimum of 7 of them . I decided to give a try to the last one that was thunderbird pool . I called the office and they set up an appointment with Steve Morton one of their designer ( he is awesome ) what I loved from him ; he didnt asked me about the money ( like other companies ) and he listened to everything that I wanted he knew right away that I did a lot of research before and I really knew what I want it . Like a good designer he gave me his opinion and suggestions ( which was great ) . I felt so comfortable with him that the next day I went to the office to sign the contract . Regarding the others staff of the company A+ including the owner lisa that called me a lot of time, Trent ( which I drove him crazy but he was really patient with me ) and Cynthia she was the best she went to all the process with me and she is excellent customer service .. Sarah is been great also after the pool was done she called me a couple of time to check If everything was ok .. I dont want to forget Robert ( I think that is his name ) he came to check the chemical of the pool was right and explain with every detail how to take care of the pool . What I can said : I highly recommend this company ... My Dream pool came to life !!!!!! I cant wait for the summer

When Cohl came to my house, he brought his laptop and designed the pool layout, BBQ Island and Fire Pit right on the spot. He incorporated both his ideas and my ideas and from there....Paradise was in the making. Thunderbird pools provided me with a schedule to ensure I knew exactly how and when my backyard would be built. They built my entire back yard quickly, were extremely thorough and they use the highest quality grade materials I have ever seen. We are talking state of the art materials and the best workmanship. Cohl and Lisa live up to the highest wonderful reputation that I have ever seen and this clearly shows in their workmanship, dedication, caring for what they do.
