The cox store was ok, just turned in tv receiver because of the outrageous cost of being a loyal customer you would think they would treat us as a loyal customer.
Completely ridiculous place to go. Worse that the post office! Mail your equipment back. This place is a joke. I went in there and there was 30 people in front of me. All I needed to do was return a modem... and I would have had to wait just to return your equipment that I will be charged hundreds for if I dont return it.
Very pleased with what we have which is, internet and cable for a great introductory price. I am giving them a 4 out of 5 as weve only had them for 4 months. So far, no issues.

They take care of your problems quite well, and their customer service is awesome! I only gave 4 stars because they need more staff there. Because as hard as the few people who are there work, there are empty staff areas just waiting to be filled while people are just waiting for service.

Tre has never let me down and when I was relocating to my new residence the move was smooth and easy.
My boyfriend and I went in to add cable to our internet plan (I want to watch food network lol) I think we were helped by Adrianna? We get home and can’t connect our cable. Why? Because she never activated it or added it to our plan. She gave us equipment and we open it and it’s busted inside, clearly used prior. So now we have to wait days for a technician to come out and hook up our cable for us. We go in there to spend money and add more to our plan and they can’t even do that. Thanks for nothing, Adrianna.
I only stopped in at this Cox store to take a look at it since I was in the area for other reasons. There was no line of people waiting. In fact, Tre was at the door ready to greet me. He was very friendly and answered a few questions for me. The store is much bigger than it appears from the parking lot. I currently have Cox Communications for my internet service, but Ive only communicated with them online. When I need more services, I will go to this store for their help. This is the store on Bell Road near the Home Depot in Surprise.

Do not use this service if you value your money. Did not solve issue at all. Suggested new equipment when it’s less than 6 months old, also said service has been out roughly every other day for the last year and wanted me to pay $100 for a tech to come to my house and “MAYBE” fix it, but that could also cost more... No chance. Switching from this horrible service immediately. Waste of money and horrible customer relations.

Great customer care and very informative regarding all my questions I had today.
I changed out a modem and asked about the new contour, took 3 home, easy installation. The downside was that my husbands medical situation prevents him from learning a new remote, which under normal circumstances would be great. Two days 2,I packed them up and took them back, no questions asked. I reinstalled our original boxes and my husband is more calm and enjoying TV in the TV room and bedroom.
Great customer service and easy stop in to get your initial setup after calling and setting your account up. In and out in 5mins. Cant say how good the internet is just yet...time will tell.

Organized as many electronics outlets are, as a clone of the big shiny fruit on your phone place. You sign in and sit around until they call your name. Staff was helpful and efficient. No complaints.
Cox getting bad when you return fie exchange. You end up with nothing.
Went in to cancel our cable service but keep our internet service. Arrived about 15 minutes before the store opened and about 30 people were already in line. Just before the doors opened, the manager came out and thanked everyone for their business and even offered free bottles of water while we waited. Seven service reps were working today. Store opened at 10 AM and I was done with my business and walking out of the store at 10:15. Everyone was very courteous and friendly.

I closed out my Cox account because it got hugely expensive. I opted to return equipment to the store rather than send it back. Service at the store was great. I was greeted at the door and signed in. My turn was within 5 minutes. I was taken back to a counter where a clerk put my information into a computer. The staff was solicitous and very nice to me. No one tried to sell me or make any deals with me to continue service with Cox. Good experience. Very efficient and pleasant.
Im always super impressed by the service at the Surprise Cox location. Employees are always super friendly and take the time to understand what I want. Only thing they could probably improve on is the wait time sometimes gets a little long but they cant really control when people decide to all come into the store at the same time and I guess its good that they are willing to take their time with each customer to make sure their needs are being met
They need a few more customer service reps. There were 20 people waiting in line to return items, get some kind of service. This was my 2nd time back to try to get waited on in a timely manner.

Low priority speed. Maybe its the clientele it has to work with most of the time (age 60+). Every location I have been to has the walls lined up with more than the fire marshal would probably allow. Be prepared to spend at least an hour here once you step inside.
Out of all my home services and utilities, Cox is by far the worst. Overpriced, frequent internet outages, and TERRIBLE customer service. I will be leaving soon. Stay away!

Dont honor their contracts! FCC and other agencies have been notified of their practices. Phone is a utility, there are laws in place to protect us customers. Corporation Commission will get their letter as well.
One of the worst internet providers you could possibly service with. You will experience lag during the day up until about 9pm maybe even 10pm and it will start being trouble again around 9am. very lazy. people who work here are actually a joke.
The salesperson helped to figure out what was going on with my internet connection. He was great to work with!!! Solved my problem and off I went. I needed a new modem!

For 6 out of the last 7 days there have been Cox Cable TV and internet outages in Sun City only from the period of 12 a.m. to 5 a.m. I contacted Cox Chat services those 6 times and never got any useful information, constantly being given the standard ‘unplug’ your equipment to boot the system; that hasn’t worked at all. Today, frustrated, I called Cox and was told (for the first time) by the person to whom I talked that he had a report that the system fix would not be completed until June 28th. First time I was told that after 6 chat sessions. My question now is why Cox doesn’t provide that information to subscribers proactively? Also, where’s the rebate for 20% service outage for times on each of the days we cannot use our tv and internet services?

Decent place clean and friendly people. They have a lot of older people that come in and should have a sign telling them and everyone to sign in. They also need to get door covers because the sun kinda makes it hard to see the tablet you use to sign in.
Every time my wife and I visit the Cox Solutions store @ 13754 West Bell Road we find friendly, helpful, polite and expert personnel who help us out. We are always registered quickly and receive help within minutes.However the last time we visited this store we were greeted by Louis who is undoubtedly the most respectful, knowledgeable, and professional Cox associate on the planet.Louis is totally patient with ALL customers, he listens and responds in a way that indicates - you are in good hands and all your concerns will be taken care of in a pleasant and professional manner. I want to do business with this company they have misinformed me and I have not made things right basically I’m paying $30 more a month then I was told I would be an absolutely nobody would do a thing about it nor give me contact information to do anything to remedy the situation. So once my contract is up I will be doing business with DIRECTV as I should’ve in the first place

I went into this store with a serious internet problem. It was running extremely slow and I didnt know what to do. My representative was friendly and knowledgeable. After swapping me to the correct modem my internet became lightning fast. His name was Dave. He is one of the best representatives there in my opinion.
The individual people working there were outstanding.However, a 45 minute wait to talk to someone is not my concept of customer service. It seems anytime you have a monopoly customer service suffers.
The customer service is terrific. They employees do all they can to show quality customer satisfaction. This is a busy store, have some compassion for the community that uses this store, be prepared to wait, sit on a seat, or stand in line after signing in. I think the employees are doing the best they can. It is just a busy store, show some patience, it makes the experience better.

Everybody is so nice that works at the Cox store but the lines are so incredibly long I leave all the time Ill wait the 10 minutes they tell me it takes but it always takes more than 10 minutes. It was easier to mail my remote back to Cox then to actually go to the store.

Always wait too long to get service. Turned my router mid July and asked to pay my final bill, paid it them 2 weeks later received a bill and was told today that I was aware of it..... why would I ask for my Final bill when u dropped off equipment...
Over an hour wait list with people going out to eat coming back just to see if their name is on the tv yet. Cant change or downgrade service online, chat, and tried calling was told were to busy and wouldnt let the call go through for changing service. This business model is unacceptable for customer service. A customer should be able to freely change or cancel service at any given moment online.
No one ever answers the phone here. Their mailbox is full. Poor customer service. All I need is a longer cable & wanted to know what lengths they had available. Not looking forward to visiting the store again and wasting 15-30 mins. of my life for this simple thing.

I think they should discount people when there product fails their paying customers. I mean if I’m late on a payment they definitely find a way to charge me late fees.
Cox thinks 1 TB is an appropriate data cap for the average family. What they horrendously forget is that everything is streamed from the internet now a days and its incredibly easy to go over 1 TB. They are only installing a data cap because they are trying to cover the cost of everyone cutting cable. I wish there was another internet provider in my area that could provide unlimited data at the same speeds for the same price. I would gladly switch service. Secondly, anytime I had an issue with Cox service I was always talking to someone who would scream over the phone or was just rude. Cox has got to be one of the worst internet providers in the Peoria area. Avoid if you are able too.
The parking is limited but theres handicapped parking and entryway.The staff was very pleasant and spent as much time with you as you needed.The only negative (A BIG ONE) is how very busy they were. I waited over an hour to be called. They call everyone in order and the order is listed where all can see it and keep track. I suggest you call first so what youre needing is already in the system. Once its your turn, this will speed up the process of you being taken care of.
Horrific wait times just to turn in equipment. One bit of good news: there are so many deaf told timers who predate the fixing of amino acids that half the people in front of you are almost sure to miss their callout.So happy to be leaving the giant coffin that is Arizona.

Cox isn’t my friend In the digital age, if I had a friend that treated me like they do I would say goodbye. To bad they have a monopoly in the Phoenix market and my choices are limited. I’ve been a loyal customer for 20 years, I have residential service at 4 locations and 3 three of my businesses, yet they care more about new customers than loyal paying customers. Example: as a new customer I am entitled to $79 per month rate for ultimate Internet service 300/30 but as a loyal 20 year customer the lowest they can go for the exact same service is $90 per month. I have the same $79 rate at two of my other residential locations but they won’t give me that rate at my home in Surprise where I’ve had service for going on 20 years. It’s ridiculous and sad, speaking to supervisors and management is just wasting your breath and time. If I could get comparable speeds from another provider I would change in a heart beat, they are not customer centric and they need a new slogan!
Very helpful associate. I was told the wait time was about 30 minutes. Got to me in 15 minutes. Explained a bundle package that met my needs with many addition additional features and exceeded expectations. Their cost for this package was way less than I expected.
They advertise an easy move but fail to tell you about working around their store hours, then working around the scheduling when it doesn’t work,then billing you for what they advertise as free. As far as I’m concerned they are a necessary evil. I can’t wait for Google free internet, it can’t arrive fast enough.

Busy but good service
I wad with them for a year worst year ever can get no help they wont answer phone and never return calls tried many many timed to contact them finally had to call the national number for what little help I called to cancel my service they argued with me about why and who I was changing to I told them I choose not to tell you. Kept arguing with me, I finally said I wasnt paying $100 a month for nonexistent service, finally had to yell at them to just cancel my service, and basically had to hang up on them to get them to finally turn my service off. Going to take my router back today if I get charged for it Im going to the FCC or who ever I need to i will not put up with any more bull from them. Worst service in my 70 years I have ever had, dont anybody say cox to me ever or Ill blow a fuse.I have had new service for only a couple days and already better speeds and no drop outs or buffering, and I only pay half the price.
A suggestion from current customer who is planning to cancel services. Should you care to Maintain and keep your current customers or get more for the future, consider limiting your 5000+ commercials that continue to play over and over and its the same ones. In a 20 minute show you have over 40 minutes of commercials, really??

Staff are pretty rude and really dont seem to care about customer satisfaction. My husband and I stopped in to ask questions about our internet speed the staff lady simply said we should get a hold of tech support thats what theyre there for. With that snotty comment we were determined to cancel our service. A few weeks later we went there with our equipment after an hour wait, a staff person took are things and simply said goodbye. No thank you, no sorry to see you go, nothing. So glad to be rid of COX!!

Do I have to give them a star? Wow. Really inconsiderate. I was on the phone 27 min.trying to see how much minimum service would be. Told I had to turn on the service to find out!?! I went to the store to return the equip. I had and was told 47 min. just to return it. It actually took over an hour to talk to someone who then took two minutes to take the stuff and give me a receipt. Horrible waste of an afternoon. I think they had all went to eat, as we saw someone bringing in a huge tray of food. I looked at their reviews and all the local internet/cable companies have less than 2 stars. Something needs to change!
All employees and managers need to be fired!! Their lack of communications suck!! I need to be paid for my time waiting on them to get their act together!!! Been waiting for a hook over a week and they have cancelled me out 2 times and never contacted me about the issue. Do not go with cox, find another company!!!!
