$420 seems a bit steep for towing my car when it has been stolen. Picked it up the same day it was recovered...Also, a 45 minute wait for someone to show up, when they refuse to make an appointment, and they require that I be at the tow yard before they will even call a driver. You would think that having a big Russian sounding guy living on-site in a trailer would be able to give pretty quick service...The guy was nice, he was careful to make a path so I could drive my car out of the wreckage around it...Nice view of the new round Apple building. Location is in Sunnyvale, near Frys/Lawrence. Not in San Jose like it says on my SC County Sheriff Vehicle Release form.

These guys are operating by ripping off people. I parked my car at my friends apartment on Friday without displaying the placard. The following morning I saw my car was missing and went to pick it up and I was charged me $420 including $90 for storage and $110 for after hours pickup. Honestly the facility was fully operational and they even run auctions on Saturdays so Im not really sure about the after hours. These guys add no value to anyone and just make a living by charging exorbitant fees for something thats not even a mistake. I dont understand why this is legal. Absolutely nasty business and rude people. Please avoid this place at any cost.Im also planning to report these folks to the county. This is blatant thievery.

Charged me 420 to get my car. I was parked at a friends apartment. I was there for less than 15 minutes. My car is gone no notice no nothing. I call police they tell me it was towed. They tell me it ll be an additional 90 if you pick it up tomorrow. I needed it for work even if cost was lower in morning. Complete extortion

Horrible service! One star is too much for them.This guy carries empty (tiny lithium-ion laptop battery sized) jump packs in his truck and then claims that your car is whats broken about the whole thing if it doesnt immediately start. Wouldnt turn the car over. The gas station nearby had a full pack that started the car immediately and the car has actually been fine for weeks since. Perfect, even. Hasnt needed any more help.

Would give zero if I could. The worker is very rude and remember, don’t pay before the vehicle is towed to the place you hope, otherwise the worker will just leave your car at wherever he thinks is the right place and drive away without a word.

I called Sunnyvale towing on last week for a towed away service. The women on the call is the most impatient and unprofessional staff I spoke with. She doesnt want to answer any questions. She even said something bad about me which is unbelievable! I should call her manager! What funny is they said they are here for help but they are lying. They dont listen to your needs and they made me feel I made a mistake and shouldnt have bothered them. The driver doesnt like his job because he kept complaining. I wish I have never called them. This company is teasing customers and giving people a hard time.

These guys are awful. Sneaky drivers get paid commission for every car they tow! $420 for same night pickup. Towed several of my coworkers cars from work and my own too.

I had hazardous light on for less than 10min on my APT complex and they towed my car. I was clearly resident and had issues with my car in the process of calling my insurance company. I got charged $420 to get my car back on that same night. Absolutely nonsense. I will def visit this place soon with my attorney.

Sunnyvale Towing was really helpful to me. Marco, the driver, was very courteous and friendly. It was great to have such a helpful tow truck operator arrive on the scene. His extensive knowledge of vehicles was very helpful. He quickly solved my car problem, saving me an expensive drive to the dealership. Strongly recommended.

Well... If you are not angry from being towed for no reason, this place will make you angry. They are automatically talking down to you even if you are trying to have a normal conversation.My advice: if you need towing as a customer, consider another company that treats people that got towed more humanly, thats the only way we can make a difference.

Horrible! Driver was going to take my car to his tow yard overnight because I couldnt pay the surprise $80 dispatcher fee on top of the $200 I was originally quoted. I get it, hes trying to make money but youre acting like a jerk representing your company.

Terrible service.Very bad cervicio the owner is very arrogant and rude. They just like to take advantage of people and their needs. They pick up cars without leaving any notice of who or where they can communicate to retrieve them. They are only interested in collecting money and do not want to give any proof of payment. Do not use this company.

Towing Sunnyvale truck service was really excellent! We were standed with a dead battery in an unfamiliar area. I only saw what cross streets I was near. The tow guy was able to locate me no problem and rescue me! Thanks so much!

My car was towed, so I called to get information about how to get my car back/how much. The woman on the phone was the most incredibly rude human being I’ve ever spoken to. She refused to help me and responded to every question I had with attitude. I will never recommend this company to anyone if she is a representative of the type of service you get.

When I had to get my car towed out of a parking garage I wasnt sure who to call. Luckily Sunnyvale Towing had a fleet small enough to get inside and get my car. Dont know what I would have done without them.

They illegally towed my car when I had a permit to park where I was. Then I had to pay $310 to get my car back. All this happen within about 2 hours. The driver was extremely rude and even admitted he stole my car but proceeded to curse at me and say there was nothing I could do except pay. I called the police but they told me we had to deal directly with the company on the issue. Its very evident this company is a bunch of crooks. They stole my car while our front door was open. I had been outside in my car minutes before the incident when they snuck in and stole it. Very angry with this company for stealing my car and $310. Please do NOT ever use this company they are SCAM artists!

My car was hit on the highway. I called the service and they came 45 mins later. Whats worse, they charged 230 which is more than what we agree on the phone. Anyway, I rejected the service and called another company.

This was a horrible experience for me. Can’t believe the way i was treated. Had to wait for 30 mins in the midnight for the staff. And the worst part is they are charging extra $100 for late night charges on a weekday.Atleast please try to be polite with the people.

Great Towing service my car was a total loss when a pizza guy crashed into me. I was shaked though. I needed time to figure out what to do, so I called a tow truck to tow my car to my house and wait for further insturctions from my insurance.... The service was good and I was in a panic condition. These people are so horrible they sold me a car that they turned back the miles on it to make it seem low on miles when my friends dad told me about tow companies that do this I did a carfax and showed that my car has 230 thousand miles on it I have a kid on the way and for them to do this is horrible

Worst experience!1. They freaking took my car from My Own Apartments!2. They damaged the battery and alarm so I had to buy a new battery.3. I had to pay 247 dollars just because they took my car from my own house, and yes they still charged me.4. They dont know how to count because when I paid the lady didnt gave me back all my change. When I got home I released she gave me 43 dollars back instead of 53.Worst service ever. They totally suck!They should totally give me ALL MY MONEY BACK!

One star was given to this towing company and I really want to just put 0 star! The worst person is Carrie. She is so rude and always came out some nonsense. We had brought all the documents, insurance and snapshots of DVS to prove that car is mine and yet she still refused to let us pick up the car. And she wrote names wrongly thrice! Linda is more reasonable. Linda and I got to agreement on phone but Carrie just insisted on her own style, which wasted our time and efforts. I never wish to come back again and hope other friends of Yelp never visit this store to avoid more troubles! And if you do, NEVER, NEVER talk with Carrie!

Asked if i could get a 32ft rv towed. Lady said they coudnt do it. I asked why and she said driver said so. And that was that. But in the pictures it shows they have a heavy duty truck thats more than able to tow it.

These people are the worst kind of business youd ever see.They are so unfaithful, shady and theyre a bunch of liars!They write things on their bill which you always wonder are true or not, because they are not true. Their drivers are a bunch of liars who claim false things and try to make you believe in their stupid words.They might be having a deal with the Police Department and they both collectively try to spot a random car and tow it away, producing false statements and charging you extra for things that are simply faked.TERRIBLE BUSINESS! This company does predatory towing: they probably have spotters outside stores like 7-elevens who inform the towing company as soon as a customer steps outside the (private) property, so that the car can be towed away. Then they charge exorbitant amounts (about $400) to release the car back to the owner. They are scamming the citizens of Sunnyvale.

These people are literally the worst business in the city.The lady at the front desk is extremely rude, and keeps looking for a way to rip you off.My car was towed and they asked me ridiculously high fee to get it back.I stopped arguing with her because she was such a disrespectful woman to me.The funny thing is, someone working there internally (mechanic may be?) asked her why shes charging me so much right in front of me. IT was very obvious she was trying to make him stop speaking as she didnt want to make it obvious that theyre cheating(Of course, who wouldnt know they are lol).

Had to squeeze between pieces of rusted metal to access my poor car. Felt uncomfortable amidst the posters of mostly-naked women standing suggestively next to cars. The lady behind the counter complained the whole time about some Russian lady trying not to pay and about how things dont work this way in this country. Xenophobia, yikes!

In California, when a towing company is dismantling the car and the owner arrives and asks the towing company to release the car, the towing company is legally obliged to discard the car and charge freight. Driven away in my car and charged me a $ 250 detention fee. I may be held accountable in a small debt court, but it is not worth it. At least they didnt damage my vehicle.
