Ive always had friendly service at this location. Theyre at a distribution hub, so its great to have the option to both pick up and drop off directly when in the area as an alternative to a UPS store. Youll have the peace of mind knowing that your package is going to be handled directly by UPS and will begin moving through the system ASAP.Tip: UPS will sometimes allow packages to be redirected here, but they do handle a lot of volume at this hub, so pickup can take a while longer than a store. Be prepared to wait 10 minutes.As far as COVID precautions are concerned, this location does require masks at the moment and theres a limited area inside to prevent people from congregating. One terminal is available for preparing shipments vs. the usual three.

My package was supposed to be delivered to my apartment but instead on the day of delivery, I was given an update, the apartment number is either missing or incorrect. Called customer service 3 times, confirmed 3 times that the apartment number and address was there and correct. Requested a same day pick up, and no one has called back since.I showed up in person and the employee at office was rude and gave me an attitude and didnt even bother trying to find my package.Dont deliver through UPS if you can, especially if youre going to be serviced by this center.Edit: According to customer service local dispatch not only failed to deliver to my apartment, but also neglected to fulfill the pick up request. Clearly the employees at this UPS are not doing their job.

Came in around 5 to get my package. They explained I had to come back at 8pm. So I did. Package wasnt there. I live in SJ. So it was very inconvenient. I needed my Package for a trip, so Ill be gone Monday. So I wont get it for my trip. A little frustrating driving back and fourth. Ill probably just have them send the package back. The lady felt really bad, but I know its not her fault. Thats what I get for ordering last minute.

Very friendly staff, FUN environment to work in. They believe in going the extra mile to help there employees learn how to do the job as safe and efficiently as possible. There an employer that isnt afraid to give a person a second chance. I work with amazing people within UPS and the TEAMSTERS Union. Extremely blessed and thankful for my job at UPS very happy there.

UPS drivers from this facility REGULARLY LIE claiming that they attempted delivery when they didnt (were home all day, sitting 10 feet away from the front-door so wed have heard a knock, and no paper-notice was left either). This has happened multiple times.

Had a package with a pre printed shipping label to drop off. Entrance isnt immediately obvious, so you may have to ask staff where the customer drop off area is. Dropping off the package was fast and simple, the exchange took no more than 30 seconds.

I needed to pick up a package for the school I am working for. I called the given phone, and was told that I can pick it up with the authorization paper from the school ( it was not my name on the package). I brought the letter, but it was not enough. And now the school Principal who actually leave 50 miles away will drive there to pick up. We will try to avoid UPS delivery in the future.

I have been on with UPS for 9 hours and all I have is LIES LIES LIES. Guaranteed Friday night delivery and never happened. Guaranteed Saturday delivery and a call back to confirm (lie) no call. In addition the Sunnyvail office doesn’t deliver Saturday’s despite me being informed guaranteed Saturday delivery. Shipping COVID testing supplies to a nursing home to test all employees and residents and the response is “I understand”.They are a bunch of low low low lives without any morale compass.

The local Sunnyvale, CA South bay location must be a place to get temporary work before finding a real professional job. The supervisors and drivers there should be embarrassed with how they treat their customers. They obviously dont understand its customers who make their business. UPS is easily the most unprofessional and undependable global shipper in the US.

Failed deliveries, falsified excuses, etc. How do you claim address doesnt exist when you deliveries include one recieved, one declined ( lie), and address doesnt exist. Today your driver simply ignored my delivery instructions. I authorized release without my presence and he ignored and just rescheduled delivery to other day as nobody was present. I called UPS support, they acknowledged this problem but refused to do anything. Just proposed me to visit your office and when I told I cant as you close 5:30 and I work till 6:00 they told they cant help. Your driver or other employee ignored instructions and you cant do anything to help. I tell you what people in my team do if they make mistakes. They spend their personal time to correct and make customers happy. Not about UPS.

It was a little disrespectful one of the associates got kind of mad because they had a research lot of paperwork that I brought in there of products that were delivered to my apartment complex that was not actually delivered to the complex but wasnt somebody elses name but Im the person that purchase all the products and the emails came directly to me so I think it was a problem with your associate he was very upset and he tried to talk to me like I was some type of junkyard dog raising his voice in front of his supervisor and the supervisor was okay to it because he was telling me that I should listen to it and tell him that he was wrong.. that was a very disrespectful customer service today

Very poor and terrible expirence! First the delivery was delayed because the courier was lazy. I called the customer desk line and they verified that my address was correct and had no sense why it wasnt delivered. I request to pick up from the station because the customer service line said they are correcting an address which didnt need to be corrected in the first place.Next day I pick up the package from the station. I had a product shipped from Amazon, which went via UPS, to my mailing address in San Jose - which is a FedEx store, since my billing address is a PO box. Well, FedEx refused to accept delivery. My $600 phone was in limbo. One call to UPS and the rerouted the package to this facility. When I went to pick it up, I was treated respectfully and professionally. A great staff. From my first call, to my pickup, UPS handled every detail smoothly. Thanks Guys.

Staff is quite helpful here. People are polite. While the location seems to be a bit isolated, this place is an enormous UPS distribution hub.You can also pick up packages from this place if you have missed an attempted delivery. Come earlier in the morning though, since sometimes it can get a bit crowded.

There was an older woman in line in front of me who was clearly on the phone with a scammer. The UPS employee who was working with her picked up on this and kindly explained to her that she was about to be scammed by sending what I presumed to be valuable possessions. Horrible customer service. I was at home awaiting a package that is a gift for a servicemen being deployed and time sensitive. They made no attempt to deliver, said I refused delivery and schedules the package to be returned and nobody has an explanation for my package whereabouts. Good place to go if you need to drop off a package like I did today. When I walked in the door today, there was a UPS worker that was standing at the counter where you drop off your package. I handed him my package and he asked me if I wanted a receipt which I did and he scanned my label on the box, handed me the receipt and off I went! In the past I have had to wait to send off a package but it appears that things have changed and UPS have made customer service a priority!

A very rude man who worked at the front desk yelling at me because I did not write down my name and the tracking number on a piece of paper while I tried to show him the UPS official notice on my phone.First, if someone got in my tracking number, can someone pick up my package by writing down the name and tracking number?Second, there’s a tracking number on my phone with the notification, why can I show you the UPS official number? Why can you scan in your little device and look for the item?Third, you were in the customer service center, when I was standing in line to wait for you talking to a cute girl about lady Gaga, clearly the girl wasn’t interested in you. This place is not customer friendly thats first, and yes the employees can be a little rude but you would be to if you had to deal with customers all day that are miffed and the customers that are there are not there having fun, and the employees are upset because a driver came back with another box unable to be delivered, so in turn another customer that will have to come down and clame. The place is over managed and under staffed, so its not that the employees are rude they just already have to much on their work plate to here the customer that actually is the boss and shareholders. And there are a few really good employees who do try to go the extra step and genuinely are concerned for the customer. You just have to be patient or they will lose your package. Plus UPS will be 90% automated soon that there must likely will be no one to talk to when you have an issue,

Well, I may as well throw my name in the bucket!A free warranty repair shipment somehow turned into $930 and their customer service has turned into an international game of ‘pass the buck’. Really feeling for the UPS reps who are probably underpaid and forced to feed customers scripted lies.Understand that the UPS next day ‘guarantee’ that you pay a premium for has some fine print. Im pretty sure their drivers dont even read townhouse or apartment numbers on envelopes or packages as I frequently receive other peoples UPS packages and last night they delivered my $6,000 I was waiting for to some stranger on the other side of the complex, just leaving it on his front step. When I reached out to customer service they smugly told me they would replace the value of the check - about 25¢ because thats the value of the paper and envelope. I do whatever I can to avoid UPS.

Repeatedly showing In Transit: Destination scan for the past 3 days since its Arrival scan. Its UPS 3 Day Select from Costco. Called the direct support and that guys has no clue other than whats posted on UPS tracking website. Looks like whoever is responsible on their Logistics and Planned Delivery at Sunnyvale is not taking any proper work to make sure that customer gets the package on time (repeatedly changing without any reason). Your UPS website should report on WHY its not delivered? Learn and how to improve your tracking and logistics process to help customers.

I think the rating is low because most satisfied experience will not be post.I have an item shipped as 2nd day delivery, however the pickup was late so it was scheduled deliver after I went on a trip. If you live in an apartment complex or any type of structure that wont give them access to your front door (for security measures, like an access code or gate) they wont under any circumstances deliver to you. They wont call when theyre nearby so you can come down, they wont drop it off at your office in your building. They just wont deliver it if they cant literally touch your front door with their hands. They cant come up with any alternative.

First few times I indeed hoped that it might help and they would deliver, call, etc... All those are complete lie. And be prepare that if you have delivery that needs your signature, you would get email saying that they delivered, but you were not at home, even if you were. They just assume that you are not at home and never bother to deliver a package in this case . Absolutely useless and horrible service. Unfortunately I cant prevent sending me packages by UPS, but never would use their service myself.

Went there the first week of December so it was significantly crowded. Took almost an hour to pick up a package. All of that is understandable but there were literally no instructions on which line to get in. Apparently you need to see the cashier before you head over to the pick up area with your tracking code. Wasted a good 15 mins waiting to be told to get in a line that was running all the way out the front door and into the parking lot.

For packages that require a signature, you can pretty much forget about a good experience. UPS usually only tries to deliver during the day while Im at work and their office isnt available for pickup on the weekend. They close relatively early in the evening so I cant pick up the package at their Customer Care center either. Usually 2 in 3 of my packages get sent back to the shipper and I have to arrange for them to resend the package.I avoid UPS as much as I possibly can and when I cant I know Im in for a terrible experience.

I dont like to rant but my experience here was pretty negative.This lady was chewing gum in my face while incorrrectly dismissing my claim that my package was available for pickup. I had spoken to a representative and confirmed that before driving 15 miles. On checking once again she found it, but continued to radiate this air of arrogance onto me. Poor Service, the UPS Driver broke our front screen door while making a delivery last Thursday, 11/9/17, I reported it the next day, its now a week later and after numerous calls to the toll free number with assurances that I will get a call back in an hour, then by the end of the day, still no call back. There is a complete disconnect between the customer service representatives you speak to on the phone, who try hard to provide excellent service, however their hands are tied because all they can do is send a message to the local office and request someone at that location call the customer back to address the issue. Based on both my work and personal negative experiences, I would never elect to use UPS I had a very similar experience at work with an overcharge for shipping an instrument that took over 6 months to resolve. The bottom line is - UPS does not care about their customers.

My package was perishable food and I had to call customer service and reserve the package for pickup the following day.What I dont understand is how can a driver who delivers throughout the area be so inept as to attempt to deliver a package to an apartment complex which he knows is already closed. I arrived just after lunch with one sleeping preschooler and a wild 3 year old. I came in carrying my sleeping child and holding my package to drop off. The staff was super friendly, quickly checked my id and then brought my package right to the door so I could put my sleeping kid back in the van. So one package drop off, one pick up and the kiddo slept through the whole thing. 2nd day air service. Package was shipped on a Monday, and the rest of the team managed to rush it all the way from CT to Sunnyvale, CA in two days, only to let it sit for another 2 days at this hub. Now its Friday, and these lazy people wouldnt do weekend delivery. Its not the only time I have terrible experience with this hub. It seems they are never on time, just sitting on their hands and wait until its late. DO NOT USE UPS, THEY ARE JUST UTTERLY TERRIBLE AND USELESS.

-5 .. firstly they were 5 days late to pick the package from pickup location then there is address and contact details on it. but they couldnt find my place, still they dint try to call me. they had option to put it in residential service room but still they even dint contact them also. n then they are saying it will come by tomorrow. i mean what the hell they were doing with my package.

There are good reasons why this place gets 1.5 stars in average on Yelp.The place is called customer center but it fails miserable at customer service.There is one person (mid-aged latino male) that seems to make giving a hard time to his customers his favorite past time. He doesnt greet customers, shows no courtesy whatsoever, and does things as if customers are a nuisance to him. Bad attitude all around...After hours pick up staff is also marginal in terms of courtesy.FedEx is 10 times better in terms of customer service and extended hour pickup. I wonder how UPS is going to survive as a company and when they are going to go bust...
