I’ve been going to the same person for my haircuts for over 20 years, when I decided to try the Girl Barber. It was closer to home and reasonably priced. It was the best haircut I have gotten in a long time. The facility was clean and comfortable and the haircut was just as I asked. Looks like I have a new place for the next 20 years!!

Been getting my haircut by Reese for 4 years now. From Varsity to her Main Street to her new location she has always been awesome. She does an amazing job practicing social distancing by wearing a mask and keeping waiting patrons out of the room while clients are getting their cut. She thoroughly cleaned the room before inviting me in for my cut. No better place to go for a good cut and great conversation.

I find it difficult to find a barber who specializes in men’s hair as so many hair cutting establishments are focused on selling product, giving perms, and coloring hair. It’s great to have found someone whose focus is men’s and boys hair and knows how to trim a beard. She has been cutting my boys and my hair for quite some time and always provides a great service. If you’re looking for a great new barber I recommend you give her a shot.

We’ve been going to Girl barber/Rese for 2 years and can’t imagine having to go anywhere else for our boys’ haircuts. She does an amazing job with the haircuts plus she also goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. As an extra bonus, she has little treats at the end for the kiddos (which is my boys’ favorite part). As a mom of 3 boys I really love how quick and easy her scheduling is. If you’re looking for a great, personal, barber, she is your lady. I can’t recommend her enough.

Hands down the best barber in the Madison Area, Very personal. Reese takes time to get to know you as a person and not just Money walking in the door. Voted 2 years in row as one of Madison Best by the people and her professionalism shows why she is where she is.

I made an appointment to give this barber a try. Unfortunately upon entering the building I saw that neither her nor either of her customers were wearing masks. I turned around and left. If a business isnt going to follow the state mandate, they should really make that known up front so that people dont waste their time or hers scheduling an appointment. The only reason Im giving 2 stars is because it looked like it was in a newly refurbished space and she did seem nice when she greeted me. Not worth the risk for a haircut though.

Just moved to the area and tried out a few different barbers and finally found one I liked. The shop is very welcoming and taken care of by one of the most professional ladies I’ve ever met. Will be a lifer at this barber!!

Generally, I just head over to sports clips but I decided to be adventurous and I went to The Girl Barber for the first time. It was absolutely worth it! Same price as sports clips for a much more experienced Barber that values her relationships way more. Gave me an amazing hair cut and taught me how to do my hair correctly so it looks just how she did it every day. Highly recommend.

Reese did an awesome Job with cutting my hair - I have a classic Tapered cut (I call it the Don Draper MadMen). It’s not a cut I feel any men’s haircut place can do - You cant just get away with using the buzzer a lot of it has to be (hand cut) using a comb and scissors which just isn’t what the men’s Barber’s of today are taught. Reese on the other hand is defined in her trade, I wouldn’t call myself picky but I am specific, and She was willing to listen to what I wanted and delivered a great result I am very happy with. I love the atmosphere its a single chair BarberShop and you always know your getting Reese to cut your hair. I am no doubt going to keep going back to The GIRL Barber - I would give more than 5 stars if I could. Lastly, if you are thinking of a place to go to get a haircut and you want quality, Go to Reese, no questions and no arguments stop thinking about it and go to The Girl Barber
