This place is by appointment only .,I had to change rating from 5 to 3 for slow unloading…Not too bad .. 2nd time here, first time was hard to find,, Now it’s easy, stay on Puyallup stKeep an eye on a small green sign the reads REI on your left .Follow the signs to the gate,at the gate you will need to show your face and id out the window from your truck, They will then open gate …After checking they will check and cut your seal .. will assign you a door promptly..( last time unloading was pretty quick …)Well can’t said the same today, arrive before 2:30 p got a door promptly.But unloading didn’t start until 2 hrs later,It’s 6:40 p still working on it .I was told you can park on 45 st, But there’s many signs saying the different..Can’t park overnight on the streets..No Outside 🚽 Potty’s..

Really? A week before an in stock item ships? What happened to “ships within 48 hours”? Why shipping after the date you promised I’d have it?

This needs to be renamed. I searched for REI near me and was surprised to see one close by in Sumner. I was not happy when I got there and found out it was a distribution center and not a retail store.Lesson learned, check the listings more closely before hitting the navigate button and driving to a place.

Rather than drive 1-1/2 hours (back & forth) to a retail out to return $120 pair of shoes bought online(REI sent the wrong item), I sent it back via UPS. Its now been 8 days and Ive ben advised its going to another 6 days before the even get to log-in and process my return. Compare & contrast to Amazon that credits your CC when you drop your return immediately upon drop off to the local UPS store. Lesson learned: if you have ANY doubts, buy AND return only from REIs retail outlets. Or buy online from Amazon.

I ordered a solar panel that was shipped from this distribution center. Some incompetent worker took a returned and used item that was covered in dog hair/ scratches / dirt and tried to repackage it and pass it off as new and unused. Thanks. A . Lot.

REI is the only way to go if you buy outdoor gear and dividends too!
