Really kind and attentive. When I called they would explain things well for me so I wouldn’t worry, I ended up having to rent a car for 3 weeks and they made it an easy experience.
Dont take their word for it! They are very friendly, but beware behind their smile they have no ethical reservations selling you an insurance policy you dont need through instilling fear. After an accident my insurance rented a car from them for me. The guy was very friendly, while instilling fear, saying that since I didnt rent the car under my card, I am somehow exposed. Per my insurance I was fully ensured. When I called to complain, the story changed. He advised me to have because of my deducible. Thanks for the advise had the car almost a month which added up to $475 out of pocket that I will not get back from insurance, because it was superfluous. Thanks for the advise and your customer care....beware dont trust a word they are saying, always double check.

Overall A+ experience mainly due to the Summit manager Kevin. Great customer service and communication. When we rented due to auto body work being performed nearby Kevin had limited inventory but he arrange the rental payment directly with the insurance company and a few days later called us to provide an upgrade exchange. We were able to use the larger/nicer vehicle to drop off both sons at college so the upgrade was much appreciated. With each car Keven cleaned them and Covid-19 prepped them personally. Overall a great experience thanks to Kevin.

Excellent experience. Very friendly, no complaints. I booked a weekend special at the last minute, they had the car ready and prepared for me. 5 STARS!! I will be coming back in the future! Car was extremely clean and it was non-smoking which was a plus. I am allergic to smoke. They do not ALLOW smoking in their vehicles.
ENTERPRISE bot/rep asked me to send information back to which there has been NO reply yet.BOGUS DAMAGE CHARGES. Got charged for a dent that I didnt absolutely cause. Its their word against yours. Make sure you take plenty of pictures/videos before renting. Maybe even avoid them.If you cant spot the dent in the attached picture, you are toast.Also the text you sign under on the tablet is totally different from the text in the printout. The manager was trying to convince me that in her opinion the two documents had the same meaning. The tablet text says signing doesnt mean accepting responsibility while the text in the printout says that by signing you acknowledge that you caused the damage.Because of the shortcomings in software you can never go back and see the text that you signed on the tablet, per local manager.
Dealing with this Enterprise was a very pleasant experience. They called me right away after I set up the date with Geico to drop off my car for body work. They were at the auto body at the promised time to drive me back to their office to pick out a rental. Everything was quick and seamless and I was on my way. It was a pleasure dealing with them.

This location and their employees are top rate. Ive gone to them for over 5 years, renting for corporate business as well as personal. I have other Enterprise locations that are closer in location, but I truly get great service here. The cars are always cleaned and up to date, employees go above and beyond to accommodate the customer.Always great renting a car from this local.

I have used this particular Enterprise office several times over the past few years. Their pick-up service is very prompt, and the office staff has consistently been courteous and efficient. Being a small office, their selection of cars is limited, but Ive always been placed in a suitable vehicle. My only complaint is that theyre closed Saturday afternoon & Sunday, which sometimes poses an inconvenience for me.
People are very helpful. Considerate. It is the only one in Summit, NJ. YOu have no choice but to go to them. But I am glad the are not jerks.I rented a car which was slightly dirty on the inside, but they admitted their fault and gave me discount on my fuel. I did not have to refuel the tank. saved me 30 dollars. Gave me a ride back to the train station for free. Over all just really nice people.Very Satisfied.

The team that works at this Enterprise is awesome!! I’ve never had a bad experience here. However the last car I rented was a Nissan Versa. When they gave it to me, the car smelled like cigarettes and then it seemed that they tried to mask the smell of cigarettes with some deodorizer. In addition, the seat high lever seemed to be jammed. Sadly this experience hindered my 5 star review. Again the staff were super awesome!!!

This is the second time i rented from Summit Enterprise. Everything was great until the vehicle started making a noise and starting having mechanical issues. I called the Summit office for someone to pick up the vehicle. But they said i was too far away from their office and to call other enterprise offices near by and try to get them to pick up the vehicle. I spent my entire day on the phone with multiple Enterprise offices and finally had to call corporate to have the vehicle towed. I am extremely dissatisfied with the customer service at Summit Enterprise.
Easy transition rented full size car. thought I was going to get a Camry or Altima but was given a Ford Fusion.This car was adequate and served my family well.
My only concern was that the interior windows were dirty. Overall a very good experience. Customer Service at the location is fantastic. Staff is friendly.

I have literally never dealt with a company more unorganized than enterprise. This was the 4th enterprise I called within 10 minutes of arriving to see if they had any sedans available, all of which said yes. I get there, literally only 1 guy there who tells me he doesn’t know who i talked to (remind you he’s the only one here, with a very distinguishable voice) and that he has no sedans. What a joke.
Very bad costumer service at the summit morris ave location in NJ. First was given a car on an empty gas tank so I had to drive the car will a blinking gas tank to put $45 in the gas tank. Then when I returned the car I was greeted with an agree tone from an representative which I think was the branch manager who stated, there is ash on the floor and car door and I need to get it detailed now so you need to give me $150.00 now. Never felt so bullled in my life .First was never given a policy on smoking and was never asked what was the ash. I could have told them the ash was encents that I light due to anxiety driving after my accident but I didnt say anything cause the bulling was way to much and I felt like I got $150.00 stolen from me so they can get a car cleaned for free on me .
Excellent location for Summit customers, top weekend deals, superb customer service, they even pick you up or give you a ride home.
They trick you by giving you a car with no ez pass and then charge $12 processing fee when you forget that you dont have one in a state where you cant drive anywhere without hitting a toll road. Great revenue grab on suckers like me who are conditioned to drive through expass lanes.

In general, the staff at Enterprise Rent-a-car Summit will do what the company says they will do. The one time they failed in this area, they made it up to me with a discount.They deliver vacuum-clean cars. Everything works. They subscribe to all applicable content services (SiriusXM, etc.). They explain clearly their refueling and pre-payment policies.The best part: they pick you up, and even shuttle you back home after you return the car (so long as you do it during normal business hours). No other renter does that.I would suggest one area of improvement. They should make sure to provide drivers manuals with any car they rent. Failing that, they should develop quick-reference guides to the cars features--so that a driver like me, who spent a lifetime driving 1985-1990 models, can learn quickly how to use the features in a modern, Bluetooth/satellite/Internet-connected car. (And how to manage the headlamps, the wipers, the automatic speed or cruise control, etc.. These differ from make to make and model to model.) Again, I dont know any other renter who does that. So if theyre looking for another way to distinguish themselves, they could do little better than to adopt this one.Overall, Ive had nothing but good experiences with them, including twice I had to rent a car as a replacement while mine was in the shop. They truly are the best car renter in America today.

The manager accused me of doing damage to the car I rented, she said the front bumper of the car pushed in and caused damage on both sides of the bumperI had to come back to the rental office to specifically clarify with the agent I rented the car worst is there was not even an apology given by this person she was rude

Beware!!!I rented a car in Raritan and tried to drop it off in Summit. The guy found a dent in the quarter board and refused to let me return it unless he filed an insurance claim. He told me I would have to pay the deductible. Was this because I had insured the rental with Amex? Is this some kind of scam they have going? Did he just not want to take a car from another area? Was it because I was a single woman? I had the car for 5 hours. In the end, I had to drive back to Raritan. I am furious because I was so inconvenienced. I usually rent from Hertz and will do so in the future. Pay the extra money to rent a car from a reputable company, it will save you money in the long run.Bedminster, NJ
