Twisted hook picked up a job on Urgently to get my vehicle to take it to Caliber Collision. The vehicle is at another tow yard and Twisted Hook would not wait for Urgently to get payment info to them to pay the other tow yard lot fees. They canceled the job after 10 minutes. Urgently said it takes them about 15 minutes to get the info together between working with Caliber and Liberty Mutual. They said Twisted Hook is not dinged for these secondary jobs yet Twisted Hook told me they were. Payment info is all setup with Urgently now but Twisted Hook will not take the job.Update: Ive changed my previous review from 1 star to 4 because the owner did call me to tell me what was going on, although I still dont believe I have the entire truth. It was still very frustrating to not have my car towed by Twisted Hook who was supposed to be a provider of Urgently. If you are not going to abide by their terms of payment, etc. then why take on the job.

Put a call into AAA they told me it would be approximately an hour and a half took 45 minutes Joshua was very professional explained the process and eased my anxiety throughout. I highly recommend that you use their services. I will definitely keep them in mind for next time!! I was especially impressed with the cleanliness of the equipment and the interior of Joshuas truck.

These people are awesome! I got my truck stuck in a really messy situation. They showed up on time, super kind and went above and beyond service. Owner even showed up personally really good people and I would give them more stars if I could. If you need a tow no need to look any further just give Twisted Hook towing a call!!!

I called several other towing places before I came across Twisted Hook and all of them told me it would be at least an hour to get to my location, not Twisted Hook though! The tow truck was pulling in 15 minutes after I called, my vehicle was on its way to the shop 10 minutes after that. It was a cold January night when a friend of mine found herself in a ditch. She had gotten turned around in a neighborhood and was paying more attention to GPS than her surroundings and got surprised by a truck. Swerving to miss it, she entered the ditch. Twisted Hook wasnt the first call. Or second. Number one gave an hour and a half ETA, number two gave three hours. A friend suggested Twisted Hook, a company Id never heard of (hence not calling them first). I called and was given a forty-five minute ETA.Thirty minutes later, they arrived on scene. The driver got out and surveyed the scene. My friend had not managed to just insert her vehicle into a ditch, but she managed to get stuck on a sewer access point. Pulling the car would be sure to cause immense damage to the vehicle. So, the driver called his boss.About fifteen minutes later, the Boss arrived. He surveyed the scene for about ten seconds.Now, there was a truck available that could lift the car straight up, like a crane, and set it down on the road surface. That runs about three grand. $3000.00. Shes a good friend, but that was a little steep.So, back to Twisted Hook. The Boss directs the other driver to lift the rear of the car, clearing the manhole,, while he pulled it laterally from the front. The result was a vehicle that sustained no additional damage in the removal. NONE. And the plan was formulated in about ten seconds. That is what we call SKILL.They charged $250.00 for two trucks to perform a physics miracle.Long story short, if I ever need ANY form of tow, this is the company Im calling.

Towed my Tesla from Charleston to new york YESSSS new york. Very fair pricing and some top notch equipment, David was extremely experienced loaded my tesla with a self loader and secured it very well for our journey and also had some good conversations on are journey to new york thanks again David you rock !!!!

James showed up in 20 mins that was enough for a 5 star review . He attempted to change my tire until we couldn’t find the locking key . after james called the office and spoke with the owner he told james to get me off of the highway and to a safe haven . the next morning i scheduled a tow once again james showed up early and towed me to the tire shop thanks again twisted hook y’all ROCK .....

I’ve used Twisted Hook Towing more than once, anytime you call them, they are more than willing to drop what they are doing and get right to you! When they give you a time that they’ll be there, you can set your watch to it!! Customer service is a 10/10, Performance and aptitude is 100/10. I’ve had my father broke down on I-26 and could get ahold of any one, but When we called Twisted Hook they were Johnny on the spot!!! These guys GET IT! Never have I ever heard of someone or met someone with a bad experience with them!! Call them for any and all your towing needs and GET TWISTED BABY!!!

I called to have a car towed out of my assigned spot at my apartment complex, which the complex duty officer told me to do. Twisted hook left all my personal info on the tow slip, apt number, phone number, name etc. Now I’m getting threatening notes on my front door & calls from the owner of the car about it. I called to ask what happened and the receptionist said oh that was a mistake, that’s not supposed to happen. Neither the receptionist nor anyone else could even be bothered to say sorry about giving out all your personal info. We were also told “oh stop, they would have found out where you live anyway.” Maybe, but you fine people made it a whole lot easier. Thanks for the fine customer service. Hopefully the complex will change tow companies so nobody else has to deal with something like this.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Despite many good reviews, I had a huge issue with this towing company and them not keeping personal information private. The have no professionalism when it comes to privacy. When I told them my concerns, I was laughed at and told “it woulda happened anyways at some point” when my private information was given to a stranger by them. If you use them, just hope nothing goes wrong, because if you do need them to rectify something, they will hang up on you and laugh about their mistake. Look elsewhere for towing. Unprofessional and crass with ZERO customer service skills. BEWARE.

Amazing service!! 45 minutes into our 4 hour trip home, our car broke down (water pump) on the side of 26 ON SUNDAY, EASTER MORNING and David picked us up within 30 minutes. That was enough to get 5 stars right there but David also drove us around until we found an auto shop that was open and able to do the repair. If it wasnt for David, we would not have made it home that day. Thank you David! You rock!

Im not sure if there is more than one guy running the trucks for Twisted Hook, but the guy that helped me tow my car was spot on. He was quiet but respectful (I hate people) and he didnt price gauge me. If anything happens again, Ill definitely be calling them!!!

They towed my motorcycle and broke the handlebars. When I told them about it they came to inspect the damage and basically called me a liar. Theyre probably great at towing cars but dont call them for a motorcycle.
