I have been a customer of midas for a few years now. More often than not I have better luck getting my vehicle in for repairs than the dealer. The prices are fair, the repairs are done correctly and the staff is great. Ive yet to gave a bad experience with this location. Keep up the good work!

The location on North Main Street Summerville was superior! The staff was very welcoming! very polite! And kind! I received some of the best customer service ever corresponding with Jeremy Rock. And because of his professionalism, I will definitely be a returning customer! The prices are very reasonable!😊

Service was good, quick.For an oil change. But then they came to me with a list of what they found. Now mind you, it was all accurate, except they said both front CV joints needed replacing, with parts and labor would be close to $900. I told my husband, and he had me call them and have them order the parts. But then I read the reviews from previous customers, that werent favorable, so my husband said to take it to our regular mechanic. So the next day I did just that. And he agreed that everything on the list was correct, except for the CV joints. He asked if I was hearing a clicking noise when I turned the wheel? And I told him no. But when I the brakes the whole front will shake. And he said ( after checking) that the CV joints looked fine, but the shaking was caused by the breaks and rotors. Which only cost, parts and labor around $200. So my mechanic will be replacing our breaks and rotors.

Top notch service! Staff was very responsive to my questions and concerns. Thoroughly appreciated the maintenance suggestions so I was aware of any upcoming needs. Fast and friendly.

Did the job, efficient, decent price for new brakes and rotors

Went to get tune up for my drive to NH in addition to my rear driver light being out. Im paying over $700 for this service only to get to NH and find out my light was never fixed. Thank God I didnt get pulled over and my alignment is off. My steering wheel shakes when I hit over 60 mph when it didnt before. Also the quote ended up being more than originally stated. As nice as the customer service was I am disappointed. I now wonder what was even really done on my car. On top of that the technician wouldnt give me my keys when I passed him out of the door. He said he had to make sure I paid first, walkes passed me to ask the front desk if I paid then gave me my keys.

I was scheduled for 2pm and switched my appointment to 4pm. I asked if i could come in at 4:15 and was told via phone call that it was fine. The front desk representative serviced the lady that was in front of me was very polite to her. He asked me if i had an appointment I let the representative know my scheduled time and phone call I had recently. I was told that it would take 1-2 hours for my car to get an diagnostic check. He asked me it i had a ride back home but I let him know that I am comfortable with waiting 1-2 hours. After that, I was quickly turned away and advised with the only option of coming in on Friday. I think it is best for me to cancel my future appointment due to them not being honest about being able to service my car today and going somewhere where I”ll actually be treated like a customer. It’s crazy how the attitude quickly changed in person.

Few months back I had a full exhaust system done by these guys, they were friendly and convincing, I supplied my own muffler and cat they supplied pipes, I was very respectful to them then and now, the exhaust has leaks everywhere and was about to fall off the car, hangers where very rigged up and nothing was checked, I’ve spent an ABSURD amount of money with these guys when I could’ve gotten it done else where for way better quality and cheaper, wanted to try a new shop because the other shop is always packed and I have another big turbo wagon build needing some custom pipes made for the waste gate and up pipe for a hood application, I don’t recommend going. very disappointed and upset that my car was overlooked every where and wasn’t done properly, I could’ve spent a few hour in my drive way with my welder and put something together way more professionally. Thank you..

They forgot to put the old motor cover back onto my motor we worth over 30 minutes away and my husbands like maybe I should check this out and see if pulled over and he loved it and it was gone we had to turn around and drive over 30 minutes back to their place to go get it and didnt even get an apology will never go back to them

Nice gentleman in front office and fast service

I will never recommend this business to anyone. I went in 2 weeks ago due to my cat converter coming disconnected. They put my car up on the lift and took a picture to show me saying that it couldnt be welded back on then quoted almost$1000 to replace. I called the muffler shop in North Charleston and was quoted $350 to replace the converter. When I arrive at the muffler shop in North Charleston upon inspection Im told that it will only be $80 as my converter is fine it just needed to be welded back up. Now remember Midas showed me a picture stating that my converter had to be replaced because it could NOT be welded. I paid Midas $20 to tell me it was gonna cost me almost$1000 to replace and they also attempted to sell me on their finance plan. Stay far far away from these rip offs.

Midas on Old Trolley Road in Summerville has excellent customer service and knows how to take care of your vehicle for basic check ups or more complicated help. The staff here is very professional and knowledgeable and makes sure that you are and your car are well taken care of.

Waiting to get my oil changed. Theres only one or two people there but they were backed up. They made the time go by quickly and actually worked me in in between while waiting on parts. Very nice folks David is the manager and was super kind. Stop by and give them a chance!

I called the Summerville location and spoke to David about my concerns with my brakes. Being a woman, I found it hard to articulate what issues I was having and what questions to ask. He was very patient and willing to help, despite my endless questions and rambling. I had my vehicle towed to the location, and they made contact with me in a prompt manner to discuss their findings, suggestions to fix said issues and what to expect going forward. I couldn’t ask for a more professional, transparent interaction than what I was provided with. Highly recommended!!!

Made an appointment for 5:30. Got there at 5:25 and they said they close at 6 and cant do my oil change. It doesnt take 30 mins to do an oil change. I changed both of my cars in 15 mins without the tools they have.

Came in for an oil change and was told there would be a two hour wait. A TWO HOUR WAIT! They had one car on the lot!! Ridiculous. Left went right beside to jiffy lube who had 3 cars in line was quoted 20-25 minutes and they literally had me in and out in less than 45 minutes! More than happy! The two women Kayla and katt were helpful, engaged in conversation, and most of all gave an A+ experience! Go to jiffy lube!

Went in for a rear brake job and ran into some other issues. David helped me with giving me options on short term and long term fixes, what needed to be fixed immediately etc.. Quick turnaround. Overall good experience. I would recommend this Midas location.

I was driving in town and experienced some shaking in the front of my vehicle decided to stop by Midas on a Saturday when they are completely booked and not only did they squeezed me in to take a look they solved my problem and got me out of the shop in less than an hour. The manager, David, and the crew here are absolutely amazing!! They are always willing to help with a positive attitude when I or a family member of mine comes in! They always fix what is wrong with my car. I highly recommend this car shop.

Today was my first Midas experience and if it wasn’t for Joanne, it would’ve been like any other. She has the sweetest attitude and was so warm and welcoming to me and everyone else in the lobby. I don’t know if she was having a bad day or in pain, but she looks very sad. Midas, please make sure Joanne is well and taken care of. She seems like the biggest asset to y’all. I’m a regular customer at Midas on Trolley RD and came in yesterday and heard the manager talking on the phone ordering brakes I believe, and complaining about someone calling out again and saying that he was sick of it. I stopped in to see if I can get an oil change and said later. When I said I was here yesterday the woman at the front desk said she was out yesterday. When I told the woman what I had heard yesterday she got visibly upset that a customer had heard and knew the situation. She was so pleasant and kind to me I can’t understand why anybody would treat her poorly and negatively like this. I decided not to stay or make an appointment but I truly wanted this person to know that she is in appreciated and she deserves better than this location of your store. I will no longer be a regular customer at Midas on trolley road or any other Midas this is will be receiving my money anymore after seeing how your people are treated. Dear Midas on trolley road one star for you. If there was a way to leave you zero stars I would because your location has turn into complete c r a p!! Dear woman at the front desk you are wonderful and please never change who you are I hope you get out of there soon for your own sake .

I took my 2004 Ford Lightning F150 to Midas for brakes, rotors and calipers replaced. I was very satisfied with the service, the quality of the work and how quickly they got it done. These guys got me right in and took care of my car quick. I was in and out of there very fast. They even brought me into the bay, while my car was up on the racks, to show me what the issue was. They were honest, which means a lot.

Owner of fairly new focus st took it here due to all dealerships being full long story short Ive found my new place to have oil changes done great service and very informative and knowledgeable also they dont mind showing you what is going on so that alone eleminates the shady feeling you get from some places so check them out.

My husband and I are in visiting from out of town. Midas was busy but still managed to help get my husband and I in and taken care of. We are so happy we stumbled across Midas and Ms. Joanne! She has such a positive atmosphere and environment in that shop. She made us both laugh and smile so much and made having to get our breaks down not as bad as we felt when they gave out. My engine coolant light came on, but went back off. I asked them to just double check for me. They kindly verified that everything was okay, and filled up my tires with air. They had me in and out in about 15 min with no charge. Friendly, professional, and quick.

Sorry my review is late. I made a promise to put one in so you all can know how amazing Joann is. My wife and i went in to drop off our vehicle. We were in line and i have to tell you all Joann was working with everyone in the waiting room as well as on the phone. Never once did she let us see her sweat. There was a customer that was giving her a rough time and she kept talking to him until he was calm enough that he apologized and she said no worries. Its good to know that there are still good people in this world.

I just came here and they told me 45 minutes and they had me out in like 20 minutes. Very clean and professional. Fabulous customer service this is a place I will always come back to will always refer anyone to. This could be a place I can take to 🚗 for maintenance anytime.....AWESOME

Ive been looking for a new spot to get an oil change for Sylvia. I dont take her to the dealer because thats a total rip off. I called this location when I was dropping the baby off at daycare down the road. They said they could get me right in and to come on over.When I arrived, they greeted me and made me feel like Id been coming here for years and we were best friends. I discussed the oil change (which kind my vehicle takes, etc). I also brought up that I had a break light out. They told me that was an easy fix (I had the bulb already!) and theyd be more than happy to fix it. They didnt charge an arm and a leg in labor to do so, which was awesome. Some other places wanted close to fifty just to change it... Ridiculous.Their waiting area is small, but it doesnt need to be anything crazy. They offer Keurig coffee and have a TV for you to watch.I definitely recommend this location. It is convenient and they will take good care of you/your vehicle. :)

Wonderful experience this morning at the Midas on Old Trolley Road. The front desk and auto technician were both great--fast, courteous, efficient. They exceeded my expectations and made my day.

Just had to get some pretty extensive brake work done on an older vehicle of mine. The staff at this location was extremely professional and welcoming. While my car was in the shop they called regularly to let me know if something needed to be adjusted cost/part wise and explained to me why the change was needed, which I really appreciate. Will be taking my vehicles here again in the future.

Staff was very friendly! Was looking for a new place to visit after the last place didnt change my oil correctly. I did have to wait an hour to have my oil changed on a (not very busy, as far as I could tell) Saturday. I still plan on going back for my tire rotation next month because I trust them. EDIT: back here 3 years later and the service is still great!The employees at this location have gone above and beyond for me every time Ive trusted them with my car. They serviced my car during the 1000 year flood and even though circumstances were rough, they did the best they could to get my car back to me as quickly as possible. I would highly recommend trusting your vehicles to the employees at this Midas location.

Midas Trolley.... you rocked my world. We were traveling from Pennsylvania to Florida when we made a stop off to visit my old college friends. Went into a construction zone and blew one tire out and had 3 nails in the other. We made our way to this midas location. My husband and i walked in and heard a man being very nasty with the woman behind the counter. He was very rude while she just stood by taking it from him and trying to help him. He walked out with profanities it was horrible. The woman apologized several times even after we said it wasnt her fault. She looked like she would cry. She went out and looked at our tires and told us we needed 2 new tires. We got a price and she immediately ordered them. We left with a friend and were called a few hours later and our car was ready. I have to tell everyone this was the best service and everyone that worked there were so nice and professional. If you are stuck out of town or a local stop in and meet Joanne. Such an amazing woman. She turned our bad day into a memorable time. Midas.... YOU ROCK!!!

Edit: they did a good job on my oil change today. (April 2019)My tires were rotated and they did not screw the bolts back on to my rims lug cap.. they just left them there unscrewed and in the hole... I lost them on the way home. Not very thrilled about that.They used to have coffee, they dont nowNice waiting chairs. Staff are nice enough.Bathroom was clean.Oil was changed and didnt have an issue with that... Im just annoyed at the bolts.

Cannot say enough good things about the customer service from Barron at this location. I typically like to work with the smaller mom and pops and keep it local, but sometimes I go where the best discounts are. Worked me in last minute due to a road trip the next day out of state. I had used a coupon for my wife’s car that wasn’t valid this month for an oil change on my Camaro, then found out the filter in my ragtop was more expensive making the oil change prohibitive. He was able to work out a very fair price overnight I could afford and scheduled me for first thing the next morning. He met me the next morning at my car door and had me in and out in less than 30 minutes. He also said he locked in my oil change price for future visits . His exemplary customer service earned a repeat customer for both of our cars! You rock Barron and your team at Midas.
