Took my Jeep Wrangler that had a nail in the rear tire, the guys greeted me at my Jeep and took my vehicle straight into a bay. Not even 15 minutes later they were finished and I was good to go! Best part was they didnt even charge me! Wow Ill definitely be back when its time to replace my 37s.

Kris and crew took excellent care of me and my car. I was told Id be waiting about an hour and 15 minutes, and it was done a little sooner than that. The customer area is clean and comfortable and the service area was neat and tidy. All the employees seemed to be happy and that equates to good performance. I wont go anywhere else for tires.

I usually dont write reviews, but this one is warranted. The staff was prompt, professional and extremely friendly. I have never been to a Discount Tire and merely came in for a tire rotation and they went above and beyond with extra inspections at no cost. As a result, I am now a life long customer and will go out of my way to ensure they perform whatever services are offered on both mine and my wifes vehicle.

Excellent service!I typically dread bringing my car anywhere. I dont like pushy salesman.These employees were very nice. He met me outside as I was walking in. They knew who I was and that I had called and made an appointment.The store was clean and I watched them cleaning up between other customers. Noone tried to sell me things I didnt understand. They told me I needed to rotate my tires and keep my air pressure up. Turns out that was work they do for free! 30 minutes later I was heading home.Ill be back when its time to buy tires.

I went here because the tire place I usually go to was super crowded. I am glad I came here. I was treated nice when I walked in until I left. They explained everything in full details to me where I can understand it. I will be back again and I recommend this tire place for awesome and courteous service!!

This was my first time at Discount tire. While their tire line up is pretty good, they have a lot of cheap Chinese tire brands, so I would recommend doing you research and finding a legitimate brand. I ended up paying a bit more for a South Korean tire.I had an appointment at 9 am, but still had to wait. Dont expect being able to get in directly at your appointment time. Having an appointment.i found to be basically a minor placeholder guaranteeing you a spot in line.I arrived a couple min before 9, but wasnt seen at the counter until about 9:10ish. My car didnt go back until 9:35/9:40. Once back it took 45/50 min to get the new tires on. I wasnt done until 10:30.My second minri complaint was that they dont do allignments at the store. They directed me to a different shop. While I appreciate the honesty, that is a second appointment I have to make and more time out of my work day I have to take. Other companies will carry the same tires, for around the same prices, and do alignments.In all, it was like every other tire buying experience, but dont expect your appointment to help and expect to have to set up another appointment at another shop for an alignment.

Had a family emergency and was getting ready to drive 12 hours; of course I had a nail in my tire. Called and was told it wouldnt be a problem, showed up got checked in and all seemed good. Tech called me about 30 minutes later and asked if I had the lugnut key; I told him it was in the glove box. He said he looked 3 times and it definitely wasnt in there. So I picked the truck back up with the nail still in the tire, got home to look for the key, opened my glove box and it was right there staring me in the face. The only thing in my glove box is the manual, the registration and insurance, and the lugnut key, so not sure how it was missed 3 times.Friendly staff - but my trust in the competence level of the technicians isnt there.

Just got new tires put on a few weeks ago and then ran over some screws last night which caused a puncture. Showed up the next day without an appointment expecting them to just patch the tire. They got me in immediately and ended up just replacing the tire without question. Have not been a big fan in the past of paying for a road hazard warranty but I am sure glad I did this time. I was in and out in less than 30 min. These guys have been awesome every time I have been in. No need to go anywhere else in my opinion

I have a Tesla and as most know there are no Tesla dealerships in South Carolina. I had a slow leak in one of my tires and my husband recommended that I try taking it to Discount Tire. From the time I called and spoke to Jose over the phone to the time I picked up my car after every thing was done my experience was amazing.When I called to make the appointment I spoke to Jose and his customer service was superior. Very polite, personable and professional. So much so I thought I had called a call center and not the actual location. To my surprise when I showed up for my appointment Jose was there to help me in person. The team there is very well groomed and looks very professional. Everyone’s name stitched in to their shirt and tucked in looking neat and clean. The whole experience surpassed my expectations.I was fortunate in that I did not need to get my tire replaced at the time because they were able to fix it(for free!) However, whenever the time comes that I do need a new tire I will definitely be going there.

Set arrived a few days later, went in after work to have them put on, they had me in, and out, fully ready to go in less than 20 min! So I went in to get my TPMS out of my previous tires to put in my new ones so my code would clear. They even torqued my wheel adapters down to spec (I didn’t ask them too they offered). Marlon was very professional and is phenomenal in customer service. Got me all fixed up and out I went.Going down the road I felt something as if my tires were off balance and I didn’t feel this prior to showing up. Thought they were off balance due to the weight of 4 sensors being in them so I thought nothing of it. I Went to a drive thru and waited on our food. While we were waiting, I felt something pop. Like a tire had settled on the bead. Got out and did a quick inspection and didn’t see anything right off the bat. Started driving home and I felt what seemed to be a flat spot in the tire. Got home and took a look and the rim was sticking about a 1/4” out of the tire in a 6” long strand around the tire. This could’ve been catastrophic for me and my family on the drive home. It was a wonder it did not just peel off.I called the next morning infuriated due to having to find another vehicle to get a ride to work in the middle of working on my little brothers truck all at the same time. Anyway, Marlon answered and listened to my frustration without interruption. He apologized over and over about the incident and assured me it would be taken care of.He, himself, drove to my house in Jedburg and took my tire to the shop, fixed it, and brought it back and installed it. At this point I was just astounded at the professionalism he portrayed. Told him he really was good at what he does. They offered me a partial refund along with a free balancing of the other 3 tires. Just incredible.I have shopped discount tire for years and was worried I would never be doing it again. Thanks to Marlon and his team, they won me back over. I can’t say enough about him. Comforting to know I will be taken care of when I go there and I’m sure he will always remember me.Excellent work guys.

I was so impressed with Discount Tire on Dorchester Rd. I thought all tire places were probably the same, but they changed my mind. I had a challenging situation and worked with Christopher who helped me find what I needed within my budget. No upselling, or guilting me into more than I needed. He worked patiently and professionally to find a set of tires that would work for my vehicle while staying around my budget. The whole team was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. They earned my loyalty today.

Went to this location not long after they opened. They were quick to get me vehicle in for tires with very short notice. While getting the old tires unmounted, one of the techs seemed to be struggling. Two of my wheels ended up getting damaged due to this. The supervisor Jose, was super pleasant and willing to work with me to make right on the issue. He ended up giving me a credit to use on a future purchase after we discussed options. I ended up going back a few months later to get tire out on another vehicle. They did not have any in the store that were the size I needed, but ended up tracking some down from a local supplier. They quickly sent a guy out to get these before the warehouse closed to ensure I would have tires on the vehicle same day. I was leaving the next morning, so they were very helpful with making this possible. The tech doing the work was very nice, he took his time and my wheels were kept in good condition throughout the process, I had a bent false bead lock ring and when the tech saw this, he pointed it out before touching it. I told him I was aware but appreciated him pointing it out. Anyway, they got the tires on quick and had me on my way in no time at all. The location is very friendly and will do what they can to get you tires if they have the power to do so. My only complaint is that the techs are sometimes so focused on getting you in and out quickly, that they overlook some small details. Ideally, wheels should never get damaged when getting new tires. If the proper precautions are taken and the tech knows how to work his machinery, they should never leave scuffs or scrapes on wheels. And second, while my other wheels were not damaged during my visit, the tech overlooked tightening the bead lock retaining bolts, (these must get removed to remove and mount new tires) due to this, the next day when I left in the morning, two of the bolts on the same wheel flew off. I ended up removing the ring so it also wouldn’t fly off and get damaged or lost, but found the other wheels had loose hardware as well. A simple double check by the tech could’ve prevented this. The bolts are $0.50 each so it’s not a huge issue, but had I not realized they came off, the entire ring could fly off and hit another vehicle and get damaged or lost and that would be a major issue. Overall, they do good enough work that I wouldn’t hesitate to return if I needed tires, I would just double check any and all hardware as soon as I left. I’d also do a walk around and note and wheel existing damage before they touch the vehicle, just as a precaution. They did take responsibility for their first mistake and made up for it. That alone earns my respect from a shop, but seeing them go out of their way to track down tires and work with me also showed that they care about their customers and meeting their needs.

I do not appreciate the counter clerk Jose.. I was standing there after he put in some of my info into computer... phone rings and he takes the call and COMPLETELY ignores me and my order to take a call in asking for quotes and info.... I was there first. This is absolutely the most rude...unprofessional treatment a customer should have to endure. Rest assured,,,I will NEVER trouble Discount Tire again. To me the customer in front of you that was there first is priority...obviously not to Jose or Discount Tire.

We use D. T. at home in Indianapolis. While driving down south, we picked up a leaky back tire. This shop pulled out the enemy DRILL BIT and fixed it all for free with friendly service. Cant beat that!

The prices are great! At least ½ the price of competitors. The brands are not as exclusive, if that matters to you, but other than that its all good! José was really awesome and has impeccable customer service skills! He & Marlon went above & beyond in assisting me. I also got a great 30- day quote on a rim package, which I will definitely be returning to get!

Good pricing and quality of the tires. They stripped a lug nut, said it was an existing problem, and it was my responsibility to fix it. A replacement lug nut would not fix the problem. The hub needs replaced.

Slow to repair tire but they were real busy

Amazing job. I called last week from Virginia and places an order on the tires I wanted. It took them a day to get them in. When we drove down, on Wednesday, I came in towards the end of the day. They were very prompt and took me in within 20 minutes. They changed my tires out within the hour, even though they were pretty busy. It was a very good experience and I definitely recommend this store to everyone.

I buy all my tires at Discount. I’ve bought them in Texas, Washington and S Carolina. The guys at the Summerville, SC shop were the best yet. Very helpful and respectful of my Covid concerns due to my pre existing health conditions. I highly recommend these guys and appreciate their willingness to go above and beyond to help.

Went in at 330pm for four new tires. Was done by 4pm! This is the fastest I have ever had new tires put on and they did a really awesome job mounting and balancing all four tires. They do not offer a four wheel alignment but I can go somewhere else and have that done.

I have bought several sets of tires from Discount Tire direct on line, for 2 cars in the past 8+ years. The nearest store was almost 2 hours away in Columbia, so I could never take advantage of their services. It is great to have this store at this location in Summerville now. They used Hunter Road Force balancers. Everything is new! Got my tires balanced, and car is driving smooth again! Service was great as well!

You finally they made it to Charleston, S.C.! Hooray! I used this company back in Jacksonville, FL for 10 years when I ran my airport transportation business. I drove 40 to 60k miles per year and Discount Tire Co. took care of my vehicles. They were very knowledgeable & friendly staff was a plus. Great service. Prices are fair. I recently bought their road hazard tire warranty on my new, Jeep ($66), an older BMW & Ford Mustang ($119). Well worth those tire hazard warranties. Most people dont realize you can buy this road hazard warranty for your current vehicle without buying the tires from them. Anything happens, Discount Tire will fix and/or replace. Great staff! Called in advance gave all the specs on vehicle and tire size over the phone to have balancing beads installed. Was told to come on in and it would be 17.00 a tire. Drove all the way from Hanahan just to be told no one there is qualified to do it and have a nice day. Went to Firestone on Trolley Road and they did it for 10.00 a tire took me to my job and dropped the vehicle off to me when finished!!! 43.00 after tax!

I ran over a bunch of screws. Had them in three tires. When there to get them fixed. Great service and learned they fix flats for free. I didnt buy my tires from there and they still fixed for free.

Discount Tire on Dorchester Road in Summerville is a great place to go for all things tires and automotive work. I am impressed with their quality of work and level of customer service as they make everything very easy. Had a low tire pressure alert on my car. I inspected the tires and found a roofing tack in one tire with a pressure of only 10 psi. It was about 3:00 pm and I called the new Discount Tire store in Summerville. They said bring it in before 6:00 and they would take care of me. I was there in about 15 minutes and they took me right in. Fixed the tire in about 30 minutes and I asked how much I owed them. They said no charge! Definitely impressed me. Wanted to leave a good review to express my appreciation. Will return when I need tire care in the future.
