This is the best auto place Ive ever been to. Went to Geralds in Summerville and they told me I needed to fix a bent control arm and it would be close to $500. I took it to Darrells and got a second opinion and they told me that it would totally fine. They did that for free. Highly recommend them to anybody with auto concern. Very helpful and very knowledgeable staff. I cant say enough good things about this place. They do everything from oil changes and tire rotations to major work. Just give him a call and ask him for a quote they will gladly help you for free. My boss takes all his Vehicles here and theyve never done him wrong, five star review. Best auto repair place in Summerville area. I live in Charleston area and drive the 45 minutes to them bc there so good. Matt is the front desk manager he is very professional and very nice. Ask for him and you get a straight answer to your question. There out yo make a good reputation even if they dont make the money off a sale. They care about there customers. Also there are very timely with fixing your car. Best place I have ever taken my car too hands down!

So thankful to these guys. Before finding them. I was always being taken advantage of. Being a woman others always seem to take us for stupid when it comes to our car. But these guys are fair and explain what you need and dont over charge you. Thanks for always being there.

Matt at Darrells Auto and Truck Repair fixed a problem that no one else could after I spent about $800.And it is was a creative workaround so it will never happen to me again for less than $150. Needless to say I am thrilled and I HIGHLY recommend Darrells to anyone.

To be honest, Darrell and Matt are friends of friends and I started taking my cars to Darrells a few years ago because of our mutual friends recommendation. I have 6 cars from 2004 to 2011 so something is always breaking or needing maintenance. Darrell and his son Matt do good work, quickly and they stand behind it. They are a good honest family and will take care of you. I was not asked to do this review, I did it because I am happy with Darrell and his son Matt being my mechanic and I think they will help you as well.

Their customer service is top notch. They were phenomenal today! They made the entire process more than bearable, and extended their kindness to my son (who was quickly becoming hot and grumpy). They dealt with the service plan/warranty company and ended up saving me deductible money! I had never heard of them before my car broke down in the NAPA parking lot this morning, and am incredibly grateful for the NAPA employee who recommended I go speak with Darryl. Darryl personally drove me to Enterprise to get a rental car. Customer service is clearly very important to him. I highly recommend their auto repair services!After receiving such fantastic service today, I am saddened to see that someone wrote such a negative review regarding hear say experience.

DO NOT take your car here. Had my wifes car towed here they told me her transmission needed to be replaced . Costs to repair ranging from 1,200 for used to 2,900 bucks for rebuilt one. I had it towed to Edwards Automotive down the street. They looked at my car and discovered nothing was wrong with my transmission at all. The problem was cv axle broke. Cost to repair 540 bucks. This place is not trustworthy to say the least. Im still in disbelief that were going to rip me off. Unbelievable. DO NOT Take your vehicle here.

Ive heard people having issues with them but it was close to my house and I really needed something fixed on my vehicle. So I took my vehicle in to get fixed and it wound up taking longer than it was supposed to then when I got my vehicle back they had messed up something else on it so I had to take it back in for them to fix what they messed up
