This place has made some great changes lately. Ray is the best! He is friendly, listens to what my son is asking for and checks to make sure hes happy with it. My son says he enjoys talking to him while hes there. I never have an issue calling and getting a same-day appointment for my son. Thanks, Ray!!

Kind of an old school kind of place. Couple of gentlemen running the shop. Very friendly and conversive and offered us a free soda while we waited.

Tony has been cutting my hair for more than 10+ years. Haircuts are always on point. If you got a certain style/look youre wanting hes the best around 💯

Came in for a post pandemic cut. Amber did a great job.

Needed to get a haircut for an event. So I called HoB to setup an appointment. I showed up on time, walked in and saw that they had a sign posted at the door saying to wait in the car until they give us a call to come in (Covid Precautions). I waited an hour until I saw that they started closing up after they finished up with their last customer. So I called them right away and they told me they didnt have any appointments booked for me. They offered to schedule another appointment, but that was of no use since it would be after my event... However I did see some of their work through the window from afar while I was sitting in my car and it seemed pretty good. Maybe one day Ill get to actually get a haircut from here

Wish I went to Sports Clips. Got the same exact cut without a wash or any conversation for more than twice the price. $35 to buzz my head with a run of the mill fade is crazy.

Im from out of town and need a haircut asap for work. I was recommended House of Blades. After a quick phone call to Noe, I made a quick trip down. He cleaned me up for a fair price. The shop is open, clean, and everyone seemed welcoming. Check the place out if your looking for a cut.

Been going here on and off for the last 2 years but I’ll just stick to going to the Argyle League in Montrose instead.“Like a Chinese restaurant come for the food not the service.”The haircuts are good with most of their barbers.They have a new policy for charging late fees for customers but majority of my experiences appointments I’m always waiting on the barber.

Awesome place for a haircut. Tony is the man. Other barbers are super talented too. They will get you looking fresh. Always!! Recommend getting an appointment cause they get packed but sometimes they take walk ins as well.

Best Barber Shop!

Called in last minute to see if any appointments were available, and they were able to squeeze me in. This was my first visit, and I will definitely be going back in the future. Laura was my barber, and after a few quick questions in order to figure out what I was looking for for both my beard and hair, she got to work. Im thoroughly pleased with the results, and would definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a new barber.

Tried a new barber since driving to the heights is pretty far from Katy, so I decided to try this place.Clean establishment, a lot of available appointments and no issues when I showed up late for my appointment.As for the haircut itself, kids haircut was ok. I asked for a little to be cut off the top. They took it down by half. As for my haircut, fade was good but beard uneven after I asked for a light trim to clean it up. $57 for both haircuts seems expensive for what we got. I pay the same go to cutthroat and get a better haircut.If I go back it would have to be with a different barber. But most likely I wont. Ill stick to my original barber.

Excellent experience at Sugar Lands premier barber. Its in a shared salon building, so you have to walk by other small beauty businesses, but dont let that turn you away. Tony is very professional, personal and most importantly, talented.I called him at noon one inconsequential day, and he set me up with a new hairstyle by 1. Great chair talk, hes easy going and understands what you want out of the cut with no issues. Show picture of what youre looking for, hell make some suggestions and youll 100% satisfied.Fairly priced for the outcome. It definitely depends on what you ask of him, but it was definitely the best hair cutbive had, despite the environment, but thats part of House of Blades story. Its fair, easy and legit. Messed me up

I tried to make a 10am appointment for today. However, they told me to wait over half an hour even when I got an appointment for when they opened. Very unprossenial to make a customer wait half an hour for an appointment cause youre not ready to open.

If your looking for a quality cut in the city of Houston, House of Blades is your one stop shop. I’ve been getting my hair cut by Tony for over a decade now and the service and caliber of this establishment has never let me down. Hands down a 5 star cut with 5 star service.

This is probably the best barber shop from Richmond to Bellaire. I’ve been coming for nearly a year now. I wouldn’t ever go anywhere else. And to all the people who say it takes too long, go back to Supercuts. Good quality doesn’t come in 10 minutes.I go with Laura, but every barber in there will give you a quality hair cut that you’ll be happy with.

Super friendly and easy-going guys! They just have a natural talent and eye for style that you cant teach. Cant recommend them highly enough!

This is a place I wanted to like but it fell way short. Haircut took over an hour and while I appreciate the commitment the result fell short. First time I have ever gone to another barber the following day to fix what is arguably the easiest cut possible - short on the sides two fingers on top, blend it in. Lengths on both sides were different - not even sure how that is possible with clippers. Part was half way down side of head that made it look like a comb over. The shop was decent but they had profanity laden music videos on that did nothing for the brand - would never bring kids there. The lone female barber finally asked the owner? to change it. Was hoping for a quality cut and nice atmosphere and received neither. This is a destination location and set way back off the road - they need to do better if they hope to survive in a competitive market. Start with the basics like a quality haircut.

I think I found my stylist! Tony is talented. I got what I EXACTLY wanted. Definitely my favorite haircut since I was born ;-)

Second time here, my hair stylist (Esther) listened to my request and followed them - thats most important. She didnt get into intricate and fine details like looking into hairs sticking out and so; nonetheless, she got the job done. For beard, she had limited experience.Overall, Esther did good job.

Called ahead and booked appointment only to end up waiting in my car for 30 minutes. When I finally got in it felt like it was just a rush to get through my haircut. Rushing to get through it, going through the motions, and not paying much attention to detail. Average haircut- not worth $50 (includes 20% tip).

Well it’s not bad the place but the main issue was the cut some lady cut my hair and I ask for a trim and my hair is spiked she made it short as hell and made my hair style look like a comb over ? Really was I speaking French or something I asked for a trim not a comb over came out the place looking like a chicken
