This agency treated me like a king. From getting the best insurance rates for personal vehicles, to help in getting a commercial policy for our work truck, they bent over backwards to find us the best discounts possible. I can not say enough about Maria Ramos, my personal agent. From yesterday mornings first text, to email’s keeping me informed of the whole process, she was professional, witty, and a pleasure to be dealing with. Keep up the great work. I deal with a lot of other small business owners, and will be sure to recommend Josiah Hartley Insurance agency to them.

The agency has been great doing business with. Everyone in the office gets back to me on a timely manner. Very polite staff.

Worst....agent.....ever! I have been with Allstate for over 25 years. Long enough to have my policies sold twice. First two ladies were awesome, and their staff were also great. I have had questions and needed to add things to my policy. This guy, and his staff, are terrible. He wont call me, ever. I left messages, was given his email, and he wont respond. Even threatened to take my business elsewhere; no response. He has instructed his staff to not give out his cell phone. Can you imagine not being able to talk to the guy who is getting paid to provide the service for your account? Transfered the care of ALL of my policies to Brian Garner. I talked to him personally the first time I called. Imagine that! Have talked to him and his son more in two weeks than Josiah in the 3 to 5 years hes been making money from my account. I understand that its the way the business works, but I cant stand that he makes money from me and doesnt care to talk with his customers. Take your business anywhere but here. Allstate is great, just not this guy and his staff.

My family and I have been with Allstate for many, many years. Years ago, I purchased a life insurance policy for myself. I decided a few months back that I’d like to supplement my insurance with a term life policy. I called and made an appointment. That is when I realized Debbie Potter no longer ran this office. Ok no biggie. I showed up and discussed my needs with an agent. I believe his name was Joe...can’t remember. He was older, slightly overweight. Anyway, I told him that I already had a whole life policy and wanted to supplement with a term life...making my kids sole beneficiaries since my husband was on the other policy. Long story short...he said he could only process the paperwork if I have my husband as the beneficiary because he is “the breadwinner”, and that once the policy is processed I could change the beneficiaries to my kids. When I questioned them about this, I was told that many people take out policies and may do unfortunate things like “hurt” the other person etc. I told them that didn’t make any sense. I was literally taking out a policy on myself...no one else. I couldn’t understand why I got up to walk away and that’s when he said...”Ok we’ll go ahead and add the kids.”I felt incredibly uncomfortable and discriminated because I’m a homemaker. My husband was livid! We have our homeowners, auto, flood, etc with these people.Then I get a phone call from a woman there, claiming she would make things right. She never got back with me. My advice? Find another insurance agent.

Worst agent in history. Does not return calls, or emails. Allstate sucks overall too,
