My daughter and I like to spend quality time together and getting our nails done is the perfect way to do that. We’ve been a few times, and each time has been excellent. Today, we had Wendy who also did a wonderful job! What’s exceptional about our experience is that we no matter who we have taking care of us, what time or day we choose; the customer service, nail service, and attention to detail remain consistently phenomenal.

I paid $55 for the spa pedicure my techs name is Ann and I highly suggest if you want a good experience dont use her! I have sworn by lavish nails for two years but no more. Ive attached photos that I took while still in the salon. My girlfriend got Itahlia and she was fantastic. I highly recommend her although Ann was equally impatient with her, Im assuming because Itahlia was showing her up!

I had went to a different nail salon previously, but when I came to Lavish…NeNe made my nails look 100 times better! My nails actually have the coffin shape, and just an overall better look. I will be getting them done by her only from now on!

The young lady who did my nails was very nice but I paid 92$ plus a 20$ tip for this, I came in late around 7:15 and they closed at 8, she finished around 8:30. I briefly looked at them because I knew they were closing plus they looked okay with the oil on them but after washing my hands I noticed all the dents and the acrylic on my skin. I went back up to the salon and the guy Jason was EXTREMELY rude, mean and nasty calling me picky and yelling at me saying I wasn’t allowed to come back to the salon. I never once raised my voice and I tried to be nice and talk to him outside of the salon but I could barely even get a word in. I was overcharged and treated unfairly because I wanted my nails fixed.

Best acrylics I’ve ever had, the girl who did them was amazing. I was a walk-in and they were very full but still got me in right away, highly recommend!

This place is absolutely awful!! I got a full set and only a single color. The tech had no idea what she was doing! She cut me 3 times with the electric nail drill and it burns so bad! Secondly, when laying the acrylic powder with the monomer she had to repeatedly do every nail several times. It was literally glooping off the ends and sides of my nails! I also have glue all my nails and skin. She also didn’t put the acrylic powder far enough so it looks like I’ve had my nails on for a whole week! Lastly, she preceded to file the sides of my nails again after they were polished and put in the UV light. So the sides of my nails have scuff marks! At the end she told me that the price was $73!!!!! The freaking audacity of this place. Never again! This place is awful, please go elsewhere!

The employees are so so friendly and are the best nail service I’ve seen in the area! Specifically, I go to Nene, she is very good at her job if not the best! Always leaves my nails looking gorgeous after every visit! I recommend this place, 10/10 FANTASTIC service and make sure you book with Nene!!!

After many failed attempts at finding good local nail tech I found Nene. She took me as walk-in after I had another tech cancel an appointment at another salon. I was a customer here years before but never found a tech who gave me the natural shape I was looking for and could do designs. Nene was very professional, friendly and gave me exactly what I asked for. I highly recommend her for service!

It was my fiance and I first time at this nail salon and the experience was extraordinary. Not only did they called me back when they couldnt pick up the phone to make the appt, but they were able to accommodate us the same day. Our aestheticians Jordan and Daniel did an excellent job on our Spa Pedicure. They really took the time to make our experience incredible. 100% recommend the place and 1000% recommend our 2 aestheticians

Wonderful experience! Went on a Sunday for a little mommy self care based on Google reviews. The staff were super sweet. Checked in on the iPad and only waited a few minutes, despite it being busy.The pedicure restored my faith in humanity. Lol. I got the hot stone and wax services. Staff were wearing masks and gloves. Cleaning of pedicure stations between customers. I love that my pedicurist and manicurist painted to the top of my toenail/fingernail without that weird space that some leave. Will be returning.

Visiting from out of town. Michael, the older gentleman who wore glasses was the absolute best. The pedicure he gave me was perfect and relaxing. The acrylics I received from another employee lasted a few days before the thick nail polish started peeling off.

I was showing houses to a client in Suffolk and I decided to dip into this salon to see if they could help me because I recently tried out a nail salon near my new house and was so disappointed with the results. They got me in quickly and took care of me like I was family!!! My nail technician was incredibly sweet, listened to my concerns, and gave me exactly what I wanted! Cannot recommend them enough!!

I have been using Lavish for a few years now and can honestly say Ive never had a bad experience with their seasoned reps. Im a regular with Megan and she is beyond amazing. Attention to detail, the best foot/leg massage and always great great work! I highly recommend!

Poor color selection for gel, crayola 16 ct has more colors, they don’t let you sit to enjoy the “spa” aspect of your service, the toe paint jobs are horrible, they never have the same employees, I was not satisfied at all had to get my gel taken off after receiving a horrible pedicure my feet were still dry, the polish was lumpy I was so frustrated I just asked for the guy to take the polish off only to go to another salon to get my toes polished, I will not be returning!today was the FINAL straw! Don’t let the name fool you! Lavish only speaks to the atmosphere! I feel bad for the customers who have never seen better so they think their nails and pedicures look good. I do not get my nails done there and could NEVA! I was only getting pedicures and now that has ended I would rather travel 20 min away vs the convenient 3 min of “lavish spa”. And they only get 2 stars simply for the atmosphere otherwise it would be half of 1 star.

This was my first time visiting. Arrived at 10am on a Thursday. Although they had many people getting pedicures they were able to accommodate me as a walk in. I got the signature pedicure with gel polish. I needed my heels scrubbed well so this was the perfect service. I spent $20 more than the local shop that I normally use but the atmosphere and the quality of the pedicure was worth it. I will be using this place from now on. Oh and they give a 5% discount if you pay in cash.

It’s an ok nail salon. I come here when my primary nail place is booked. So Lavish Nails is like a backup. Every time I come here they are kinda rough with how they handle me. I’m a small girl. It seems as if they are always in a hurry. They’re service is quick and fast. They lack quality. They are like the fast food version of nail salons. It’s not a bad place. They just need to slow it down. No one ever says “hi how are you” when I get my nails done and give them my hard earned money.

I wish I could do like 3.75 lol. The quality of my nails are good, I went from long round grown out pink acrylics to shorter french tip gel on top of my acrylic nails. I am happy with results but the nail tech I had wanted my hands in particular positions which meant sometimes I was uncomfortable with seating position. We both were getting a bit frustrated!! Like I said Im happy with results just not experience.

Ken is the BEST! My step-daughter has Down syndrome and it’s her birthday. She was so excited to get a pedi and gel nails done and he was SO SWEET and patient with her. I loved this place before today, and now it’s totally the best! Thanks Ken for making her feel special on her birthday!!

There was a nice atmosphere and I was welcomed when I entered in the salon. Although there was residue left on my fingers and I got a tiny cut, I am satisfied with the service I received and my nails look very pretty.

I have visited many nail salons and this one not only surprised me but gave me that warm feeling of that special hospitality everyone looks for. First off, when I walked in the automated system with a friendly greeting was pretty awesome. I like it because you detail what you are there for and you feel that special treatment we all want when they call your name and know pretty much what you want. The cleanliness of this establishment is above the bar as well as there customer service. I came in as a walk in with no wait and was welcomed with highly professional staff. Shantee was my nail technician and I recommend her highly. If you havent visited this salon, its a must you will not be disappointed!

Due to an injury on my ankle, I was in a cast for 6 weeks. I was in desperate need of a pedicure as my feet were neglected while wearing the cast. My legs and feet enjoyed the special attention and I was truly pampered. I’m always pleased with the service and quality of my pedicures and I will be back on a regular basis.

I go to see Cherry for my acrylic nails. She does an AMAZING job every time! Worth the price and time in the salon. I definitely recommend her and a handful of other nail artists in this salon!

Cherry is the bomb.com! I love this salon because all the woman are so funny and hold good conversations! But the most important part is that they are all perfectionist so you know you are going to get pretty nails. On top of that they get the job done in a timely manner!

Megan is the best!! Just got a pedicure today as she had done a french manicure for me last week. She noticed two of my fingernails had chipped and she offered to fix them for me. She is courteous, professional and I highly recommend you ask for her by name. Thanks, Megan!!

I just feel like they would make way more money, if they invested in quality nail artists. Instead of charging outrageous prices for simple designs, they need to bring in people with more experience working with acrylic nails! The year is 2021, it’s sad that they are still producing these generic nail designs. SMH. Also let’s talk about nail shaming. It’s literally so embarrassing that’s the “nail techs” associated with Lavish will tell you not get a certain design because its too flashy! Make it make sense!!!!!!!!!

I’ve been coming here for a few months now and I love them. I’ve seen a few different people and they are all great. Usually I ask for Tammy because she is absolutely incredible. She does the best designs and is always meticulous and careful. I’ve been to many nail salons over the years and usually ended up with my cuticles getting shredded up and my fingers hurting. That’s never happened here with ANY nail tech I’ve had. I recommend this salon to all my friends any any random strangers who compliment my nails. Y’all are great!

My first time going here as I do not live in there area but come here a lot for family and friends. I will be returning service was impeccable from Tammy! I got the gel pedicure and my eyebrows waxed. Bring cash for tips as they do not take them from your card.

Horrible customer service, pedicure was extreme poor quality and overpriced. Nails were a complete joke, had to go to another salon right after and they were completely dismantled by the poor quality done by this salon. My nail tech was extremely rough and rude, made fun of customers and smiled in their face when it came to checking out and expecting a tip. Little did she know I am VERY fluent in her language and could understand every shady comment that was said about me and other customers.These techs need a reality check and more training on basic customer service and nail tech skills. Very toxic environment would never recommend to anyone. Stay Away!!!

Very nice establishment. Was greeted promptly and the wait wasnt a long one. Tech was very kind and patient with me explaining just what I wanted, and adjusted things on the fly for me as needed. Will be visiting again soon.

Really great service! My nail tech Kelly was so kind and did an amazing job fulfilling what I asked for! This was my 2nd time getting an SNS manicure with Kelly. Both times she did phenomenal work and checked in all throughout the process to make sure I liked the shape and color. I asked for something a little different today and it turned out perfect! Definitely recommend!

I expected at 5:30 on a Friday that I would come in and ask if they did powder dip manicure-(which they do! ) and then I would make an appointment to be seen but they saw me as a walk in. The nail tech was so nice and I am so happy with my nail length and color. I will definitely be back and will send friends your way!

Walked in with my sisters to get pedicures. There were 4 of us which I understand can be overwhelming without an appointment and would’ve been understanding if they weren’t able to take us. Instead they handled it very unprofessionally. One of the ladies said “How many pedicures?? 10??” And laughed to the other nail techs. And after that she said to another nail tech “tell the 50 people that just walked in it’s gonna be a 30 minute wait” this is extremely disappointing as I’ve been coming to lavish for a while now. Will not be returning. Please teach your nail techs to be more professional and how to talk to people.

Total disappointment. With a name like Lavish Nails Spa, I would expect lavish quality especially for a piss poor pedicure. The technician wasnt friendly and Quite rude, she cut down my nails lopsided and there was nothing spa quality about the $55 pedicure I received. She also had a nerve to talk about me and other guest unbeknownst to her that I work with foreign clients everyday and can understand and speak most of their language.I do NOT recommend this place. Customer service is a joke and the technicians are quite unpleasant and unprofessional and unskilled.

I tried this place because it was open later on the day I went than my normal nail salon. They were more pricey and less thorough and clean than what Im used to. The space was also very tight. They were also out of the gel color I wanted and almost out of my second pick. Overall I am still happy with my nails and toes. I give it four stars because I took my 10 year old daughter and they put her with a younger lady who spoke really good English and was really good with her. I did appreciate that.

Usually Steve does my nails but I came in today to get a pedicure and Quan did a wonderful job. He was so gentle and detailed when it came to my feet. I love it there ❤️

Horrible customer service. I asked for ombré, he told me after the fact that he couldn’t do that with gel nails—so I had to leave with a color I did not want. Also, was very rude—and felt rushed the experience was horrible. Not to mention I paid 78 for a fill in and polish change on my toes—how?!I’ve been looking for a consistent nail shop since moving to Portsmouth and this was another bust. Need another place to try.

Went there and they are hit or miss. Went 2 weeks ago for a pedicure and my toes looked like a 5 year old painted them Definitely not going back!

However, today was especially bad when rather than soaking my daughters acrylics for removal, the male tech tore the acrylics off and cut my daughter’s finger in the process. Service was great up until my manicure. My nail tech did a excellent job on my feet. However, she became agitated when I expressed to her that I did not like the way she was painting my natural nails as she was leaving the sides of my nails unpolished. Another nail tech was directed to take over and he too did the same thing. He got agitated as well and removed my polish instead of trying to fix it and told me to wash my hands and walked away from me. I did not feel appreciated as a customer. Extremely unprofessional staff with resolving the issue. Next time I’m in town I will not go here and do not recommend this place to anyone. I went to Nail Time in Suffolk instead to have my nails painted and had a more pleasurable experience as my nails were painted the way I as a customer wanted them.

I have gone to Lavish Nail for the last several months and I have my 2 favorite techs. On and Daniel are the best. The shop is warm and inviting and they are all friendly. I would recommend this place and I have because I took my BFF with me today and she too will be a repeat customer...

Fast service and friendly staff. I only get basic manicures and pedicures w/ a clear coat of polish so I cant speak to the more complex services. But as a man I feel comfortable, respected and appreciated in the establishment.

Nature did my nails and her service was impeccable! I will return because and only because of her. I was extremely surprised to see that the business was not practicing social distancing. It was a cramped space with customers practically piled on top each other. I had to state that I would not come in unless I could practice social distancing to protect myself. Thankfully, they obliged and allowed me to have a row to myself while Nature pampered me.

I came here to get a pedicure and an acrylic manicure with a nail design. The man who did my nails was sloppy and rude. He didn’t engage with me at all like I saw the other nail techs doing with their clients. It was an awful experience and I paid an arm and a leg just to have sloppy nail art not even like the picture I showed. Now I’m getting them redone. Another nail tech even walked by and saw his work, and they laughed at how bad he planned on doing them. Then she turned to me and spoke in English and said “Oh you have the best nail tech in the house,” in a very sarcastic tone. Save your money and go somewhere where they actually give a sh!t about their customers and the work they put out because this is just ridiculous.

This was my first visit to this shop, There were no prices listed, so I told the guy what we wanted and he quoted $63 for sport length ombré nails. I thought it was a tad overpriced but I had already waited for 45 mins. My daughters nails were fine, but when I got ready to pay, I was told it would be $115 for my ombré nails because they were long. The guy who quoted the price had since left, so they called him at home to clarify. He ended up only charging me $95 because of the communication issue. I thought it was a bit unprofessional to not have prices listed in a highly visible area. I had to show my nails to several people so they could determine how much I owed. In the end, I noticed my ombré wasn’t fully blended and you could literally see where the different color polish started and ended. Not the best nails, and way overpriced. I’m new to the area so I’ll be looking for a better salon to call home.

First let me begin by saying I was a loyal customer for a few years. My nail tech moved to another state, instead of being informed so I may choose a good tech, I was just told she wasn’t there for many weeks until I finally found out through another employee. That was a bit aggravating but I continued to go and get my nails done bouncing from tech to tech not being one hundredth percent satisfied. Finally, yesterday on my birthday I had the worst experience I have ever had at a salon. I won’t mention names but I will say that after years I will no longer be visiting this establishment. I went to get a French powder fill when I sat in the chair I asked the gentleman that I did not want the pink to be to much, he agreed and continued. Now I understand each salon is different but Kelly would always show me the pinks they had and to choose the one I liked for my French dip. He proceeded to do my nails all was fine until I noticed all these bubbles inside my nails. When I said I didn’t like it he became aggravated, common I’m paying a lot of money for my nails and he had a nasty attitude, the manager approached said it was the dip powder which I replied I’ve gotten my nails done many times and it never looks like this. His reply was all salons are different lol I know that now because I had only visited them for the years. Since the gentleman was nasty I asked to be moved to another tech. I got assigned a lady when she finished my nails looked the same which at this point I had been at the salón for so long. I payed them for the service left them a tip so they wouldn’t keep going at it in Vietnamese which by the way I understand some of it, and then told the manager I would not be coming ever again.

Very neat salon. They rub the lotion on your hands at the end plus a hot cloth. A little pricey but I guess worth it. Also stays open later than most salons!!

Great place for a pedicure. The only thing I don’t like is that you have to tip in cash only and can’t add it to your bill like just about everywhere else allows. I never ever carry cash. The way they get ya is that they have an ATM in the back. Still very inconvenient to not be able to add a tip onto my bill. They prompted me to tip a couple times.
