Fabulous experience with Lady Stuart l Deep Sea Fishing. The crew was experienced and attentive to all passengers. Everyone caught fish and had a great time. We went earlier this week and caught 17 fish. We kept three and had for dinner that night. YUM! The crew cleaned our fish too. I would highly recommend this company. Very professional, safe and a ton of fun!
I understand that the current was strong so the Capt move inshore It seem like the people at the back of the boat was fishing for kings and the Capt was setting the boat so they could catch king and the other 24 people that paid to bottom fish wasn’t catching any fish. The should have position the boat so we could catch fish. They catered to the people fishing for kings.
We had a wonderful experience on the Lady Stuart. The mates were very helpful to the members of our party who were less experienced, and they were quite patient with every person on the boat with whom I observed them interact. The boat was PACKED with people (as you can see from all of the fishing poles in the pic!). The helpful crew showed us how to use our fishing poles and bated our hooks. It was a fun and new experience for me. All in all, it was a nice day on the water and the views were amazing. Reservations are not required, but highly recommended...especially during busy times! Get there early, if you try and walk up without reservations you may turned away due to a packed boat.
Didnt catch any fish just one small one but the crew was great! They tried several spots but the fish just werent biting that day. Great day for a boat excursion!
First time deep sea fishing and honestly it was pretty disappointing. If these guys were a bit more professional they would have canceled the trip. They obviously needed that money. The only bait that was provided was squid, and I swear to god no lie they had a pet dolphin. The dolphin would wait until someone was reeling in a fish then lunch time. It was horribly choppy, thats why I said they should have canceled. We caught fish but nothing to take home. Just an awful time. The people I went with said it was their worst experience out deep sea fishing. I gave two stars mainly because they were nice guys and it wasnt all there fault.
Had a great day on this boat. The capt and mate(Jay) were very very friendly people. They would hook a fish with their gear and gave everyone a turn to reel the fish in. Great day. Made my vacation from NY a memorable experience. Would highly recommend fishing on this boat!
Yesterday 3-24-19. My husband and I went deep sea fishing with Captain Pat and Mate John they both did a fabulous job. When fish stoped biting Captain Pat would move us to a different spot to make sure we catch fish, We went to three different spots, I couldn’t even sit down and rest, I got so many fish 🎣. Mate John was extremely knowledgeable and gave great tips about fishing to how to stand on the boat so you won’t get all bruised up . There were several of us and Mate John made it feel as if we had our own personal Mate helping us out. Pat and John enjoyed their work so it made a huge difference in our experience. Thank you both for the great memories can’t wait to board again.
Anchor around reefs with cut-up squid as bait. Had to ask for sardines and they were hesitant to provide even those. This is not a drift boat if thats what you are looking for. Very disappointed. Basically bottom fished for small grunts and snapper. Youd be better off fishing from a pier or bridge.
Very disappointed. This boat must be set up for tourists who don’t have experience with a real drift boat. My family grew up in Florida and knows what it’s supposed to be like. Only bait was cut up pieces of squid and the hooks were ridiculously small for deep sea fishing. You’re not going to catch much, and certainly nothing very good or very big. Can’t advertise that you could catch some decent species, but not on that super light bait & tackle. No amenities on the boat & didn’t even have ice for the fish that were caught! The mates only helped certain people and left the rest of us to fend for ourselves. Ignored our repeated requests for more bait. Then took the biggest fish we caught to “check & see if it was a keeper” & we have never saw it again. Maybe it was put back, maybe it was kept by the crew- who knows? Just a complete disappointment. Wouldn’t spend the money on this again.
Was set up to fish on a Friday lucky I called to check location was told that my friend that made reservations was tried to be contacted but was not reached so they canceled our reservation even though he had called on Wednesday to add my wife to our trip as an observer and was told we would have to pay full price as a fisherman because of covid which we agreed to because we were only in the area for the week But when I called that Friday morning to check location was told because they had no credit card on file they canceled our reservation Never when reservation for 3 was made or when we add my wife did they request any payments For this poor management I would never suggest going on this boatLuckily I called The Safari 1 out of Pirates cove at 7 am after the above mentioned and was welcomed to fish, after a fun day of fishing and talking of are issues with Lady Stuart over 6 other told of problems, guess we were lucky and got on a great boat So if your in the area for a party boat stay away from Lady StuartAn I only paid 1/2 price for my wife to ride and observe on the Safari
Great staff. Friendly. Helped my kids (and me) whenever we needed something. Will be back to go fishing again with Lady Stuart.
Nice boat, friendly knowledgeable staff. We had a good time. Jay is awesome. Capt. Dave was very nice. Caught quite a few fish. Almost everyone on board had at least one. Hard to beat for the money.
Having been on several across the years, this boat uses smaller hooks and slivers of squid to fish with. The result is alot of baitfish hitting but nothing of any size. So if you really are not interested in catching ‘dinner’ and just want to have some fun out on the water....When planning a trip ask the charter what they use for bait before you commit; that way if they are not using whole double hooked sardines, you will be catching sardine size fish.
My husband and I had the most enjoyable time yesterday, on The Lady Stuart. The entire crew were so friendly helpful, and constantly assisted everyone on the boat with all needs throughout the day. The captain brought us to several different spots to find where the fish were biting. We will be back soon, when our friends and family from up north can travel down and join us for another great fishing adventure.
Very kind, professional and great experience!
Booked this trip, upon arrival captain called the trip saying the sea would be to bad. There were only 5 total people. More likely there werent enough people to male it worth his while. Every other charter I called was out doing what they do. Will never recommend or give him a chance.
I keep seeing all of these photos of people holding their fish. When we went we weren’t allowed to remove the fish from the line or touch them. The captain and first mate took the fish and immediately put them in a cooler of some sort. People were harshly scolded if they tried to touch the fish. We weren’t allowed any photos at all. The only photos we got were of the fish still on the line before they came on the boat or before the crew got them off the hook. They made us have them clean the fish and we had to pay “tip” them generously to do so. We would have preferred to just take our fish when we left the boat. However they placed all the fish that everyone caught on the dock and took a photo and started cleaning them. We weren’t given a choice.
Been twice and never really catch much, caught four snapper for the day
We went two morning in a row with this crew. First morning Captain warned us of high seas and offered to allow us to cancel our reservation at no cost however If we chose to go out he would not be turning back. He did not disappoint! Was it rough waters? Yes! Were we warned? Yes! Was it awesome fishing? Yes!! Was the crew amazing? Yes!It was so much fun we chose to go again the next morning and had another amazing trip!Thank you Captain Dave, Matt and Jay for an awesome experience! We will definitely be back again!
What a horrible experience, I cant believe he has his captains license how could he taken a family through a nasty storm knowing that it will never get better. What a greedy old man, lost about 19 customers for life, this family will never book him again.
Be careful when booking this boat captain don’t care about your life is all about the money we booked for a family event and even when We clearly told him that we will bring kids and wanted him to make sure weather will be safe for them so they could have a good time,This was a completely nightmare for them having to go thru almost a 8 foot waves for 4 hrs and half of the group was puking their brain outEven the mates were scares and kept on saying that it wasn’t safe to be out that dayI believe capt is the owner and he thinks that he can do whatever he wants but playing with peoples lifes is not acceptablethink twin about going hereAlso fishing spot socks only guppy size
I’ve been on several charter boats before and this was by far my worst experience, in fact all others were quite good! First I was surprised to see the boat appeared to be built in 1965, and appears to not have been updated at all, but ok we can have fun on a canoe. It began with payment at the pier where I thought it was off for the captain to ask for 20% tip prior to the trip. Typically tips are paid after good service and my family tips well at all times. The tip was for the crew and the crew mates, not the captain were fine so no concerns there!Once we boarded the SS Minnow we started out to sea and then the “captain” informed us the waters were choppy but that if he could not find a smooth area we would fish close to shore. He did nothing of the sort and kept going further and further out to even more choppy seas. We were on the upper deck and it seemed the boat came close to tipping over many times! Two people in our party were puking and my daughter was white as a sheet having a panic attack. One of our members asked to go closer to shore and do what he promised and he ignored that plea and said “sorry I can’t talk I’m focusing on the waters”. I don’t care what he says about he’s never had an issue in 15 years, and he tried to make our party look foolish by demanding to go back, it was unsafe and nobody could fish and he knew that, but he was too far into it and didn’t want to lose a boatload of $$$ by admitting the waters were not suited for offshore fishing that day. This guy was totally unprofessional and if you think about using him you better check the currents and get a strong dose of medicine and bring your own life preserver as the rafts reminded me of an issue they had on the titanic!Do your due diligenceOh and all these new reviews stating the captain warns of choppy waters beforehand and allows you to reschedule must be new business standard or phony reviews!!!
Always a good time on the Lady Stuart. Crew is wonderful and Captain Dave is a scholar and a gentleman. I have been on this boat many times and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys deep sea fishing. The crew are very helpful and even fillet the fish on the way back in. Perfect family outing!
We had a great time. Not having to worry about bait, tackle, cleaning, or a license was a huge relief. We did a morning tour and were glad we did. The mates, specifically Jay, were friendly, patient, and professional. We never completely lost sight of land which was comforting, but at the same time you knew it was just the same as the ol fishin hole from when you were a kid. Also the length of time on the water seemed right. 5 hours we just about all we wanted.
We had a great time! The crew was very helpful when you needed them. Thank you!
Let me start by if you look at the latest reviews you should realize that there was a big family on board the boat it was the most horrible experience I had on a charter boat It was so bad I thought we were gonna sink at sea, I dont think this man should not have the title captain more like corsair.
Fished the last 3 mornings on the Lady Stuart (me and 2 sons)....all were excellent. Fantastic crew (Matt and Jason are awesome). Seas were choppy on Monday and Tuesday but the captain advised us of this beforehand and gave us all the option of coming back another day. We chose to go fishing since were only on vacation for the week and were rewarded with full buckets of fish even though it was choppy. On Wednesday we had calm seas and another pile of delicious filets. Caught all kinds of different fish, snapper, porgy, kings, pompano (and of course many grunts).Love the convenience of this boat...call to make a reservation, show up in the morning and can pay with cash or credit (not all party boats take a credit card), including tip for those of us who dont carry much cash. Had such a good time we kept going back! Met many friendly people. Highly recommend!
Had a great time, first time for our grandson, captain let him drive for 2 second. Mates were fantastic, always there to help you.
We went during spring break and all had very good time including kids. Even the family member who is not interested in fishing had nice trip. Crew were friendly and knowledgeable. They provide everything you need for finishing. Limited beverage and snacks choices if they have, which I dont recall. We brought our own. Better to check if they have afternoon ship, its not everyday depending on weather and how many customers I think. Josh is the best!! Were planning next trip already.
We had a great time fising today- seas were a bit rough, but the captain did a great job finding the fish and the mates were very fun, while still managing to keep up with a high catch volume. Our group of 3 will be doing this again. The boat ride alone is worth the cost of the trip.
We had a great time lots of snapper. The captain took us to the reef with fish on the fish finder. If they didnt bite we movemved to next area until people were getting fish.
Even though the keepers were few and far between, we had a great time! The mates, Stan and Matt were great and Dave was a stellar captain! We will definitely be back, were hooked!
I fish this boat often. Along with its sister vessel, The Fort Pierce Lady, they are great bargains for a day of offshore fishing. If you are in the area on vacation and are looking for an inexpensive day offshore with a chance at catching some interesting fish this is for you. If you are retired (like me), live in the area, and want to fish with some great guys this is for you. If you are looking for a 53 Hatteras with champagne and a personal crew of four - this is not for you. - these are fishing boats. It will take a few trips to learn how the regulars improve their chances - but everyone Ive fished with on these boats (including the crew, if you will listen) is very willing to share tips and techniques. Mates work for tips and are terrific (if you will listen) - plan on 20% minimum - they earn it. Introduce yourself to them when you get on board and ask lots of questions - youll have a better experience. This boat is further for me since I live in Sebastian but sometimes the fishing is better further south or it just fits my schedule better that week. Either boat is a great experience and I go as often as I can. See you on-board!
I wish the crew could post bad reviews about customers
What a great experience. Caught a ton of snapper and runners. The crew was amazing and friendly. Thanks again guys, I will be coming back!
It was a nice boat ride . Fishing was lousy caught lots of grunts thats about it . 1 crew member was pretty nice the other didnt want to be bothered by anyone . Seemed like they just wanted to cater to everyone in the back of the boat . Like I said it was a nice boat ride .
I caught a few fish, but the really fun part was the interaction between the crew and the customers. Its so obvious that the mates on the boat love what they do and care about you. I had a really good time with my friend, and we actually caught our own dinner, too! The boat was clean, and the galley/interior was a great place to hang out if you wanted a dry, quiet place to go for a while. The trip wasnt too long or too short. My friends and I want to go again!
Made my first time deep sea fishing very memorable! Very knowledgeable and fun crew working this boat! If you ever have wanted to try deep sea fishing to cross it off your bucket list, Lady Stuart is who I recommend. We got a bunch of snapper on our trip! Thanks again Capt. Dave and crew for a great time!
My brothers and I had a great time. We happily went on the longer 7 hour trip and were not disappointed. There were 40+ fish caught and brought back to dock, including multiple Mahi. The 3 of us brought back some banded runner and trigger fish. The captain and mates were top notch! The day was beautiful! 5/5 would recommend to everyone!
It was such an amazing morning trip that we ended up signing up for the afternoon trip while on the boat. Josh and Jay were absolutely amazing and Id fish with them anytime. Simply the best crew Ive been fishing with. Captain Brain kept trying to find the bite even after a slow morning. All in all, one of the best fishing experiences Ive had.
Love the crew and vessel. Excellent head boat experience.
Best fishing boat I have been on in awhile. The Captain and crew were great. I will be back
Got there after driving 200 miles with my 15 year old son..Unloaded our gear and received a call that the trip was cancelled at 12:45 for a 1:30 departure..Said sorry we forgot to call you but there werent enough people...Any working parent knows you dont get a chance to make up these times plus this was the last day of our week vacation. They will never be able to make up the look on my sons face..I picked this boat because the reviews were good so I guess if your local to them you can always reschedule but if your from out of town beware that cost me a lot of money and they really dont care....Review 1 out of 20 Im going to post.
Had a awesome time!!!
I go on a boat like this on every vacation, weather permitting, so ~2 per year up and down the East coast. This was my first time on Lady Stuart and I would use them again. The boarding order is dictated by the order in which you arrive. There were 6 gentleman before me when I showed up at 7:05AM. When the captain arrived, we checked in and everyone respected the order of when they arrived. If someone cuts the line...speak up because the captain doesnt show up until 7:30 and expects adults to know their order. The trip cost was $45. We had about a 1-1.5hr ride out to get into 85 water and anchored about 3 times. I laid into two very large fish, assuming they were grouper. Our rigs were not set up for them so I lost two rigs and needed replacements. Others around me were catching bee-liners and there were two *very* nice cobia keepers pulled in; about 3 long each. Also, a gentleman caught a Goliath Grouper but was unable to keep it. The mate was attentive and took care of business when he had to. $3 a head if you want to get in on the fishing pool for the largest fish. They dont serve food or beer so bring your own. They do sell waters for $1 if needed.
The crew was great. They worked very hard to make sure the less experienced people could fish. When going on a half day party boat just go to have fun. Rarely do you catch more than one or two keepers. If you are expecting more you have to pay more and go out all day with a smaller boat charter.
This past weekend I was fortunate enough to go on the Lady Stuart not once, not twice, but three different times. Each trip left me wanting to go right back out for more. The atmosphere on this boat can be summed up in one word, fun. From the moment we pulled out of the slip the fun began. The mates all interacted with everyone on board making sure they knew how to use the equipment provided (rod, reel, and bait) and on the way out cracked jokes to lighten the mood. For those of us that have our own equipment you are allowed to bring it on board along with a cooler. There is a cabin that has three small tables and one long bench. The tables really came in handy for making my sandwich when we moved spots. The rod holders are set a good distance from each other and it was nice not to have my neighbor all in my space. For those that fish the sides of the boat there are benches that you can sit down on and for those fishing the back of the boat there is a ton of room to get around. There is also a top deck for those that smoke or just want an amazing view of being offshore. On the first trip the boat had a decent amount of people on it but didnt feel crowded. We very quickly made friends with an older gentleman named Frank and a group of guys out fishing with a young kid. To hear each of us cheering each other on when someone had a fish on only added to the excitement. By the time we got in from that morning trip we were all fired up from having so much fun that we decided to all go out on the afternoon trip too. There was a 30 min break which gave us just enough time to run to the store and grab a sandwich for ourselves and Mr. Frank. The afternoon trip was just as much fun as the morning trip. The crew did not lose an ounce of excitement and they surely did not disappoint on that second trip. Watching a mutton rig rainbow over and trail down from an experienced fisherman while listening to the ooos and ahhhhs only added to the feel of the boat. Watching as color slowly appeared from 125 of water from that same mutton rig almost put the whole boat on hold while we all we all holding our breath to see him land a beautiful mutton snapper. After we got in and walked Mr Frank to his car it was clear we needed to get back out on this boat asap and at that time a reservation was made for us (myself and my other half) along with our two daughters. The next morning we arrived at the dock all ready to go. Captain Dave prided himself the first day of his boat being a fun boat and on trip three the atmosphere and feel of the boat was exactly that. The mates had the same enthusiasm they had the previous day and the Captain no doubt knows where he fish are. The girls had so much fun on this boat that they both cant wait to get back out. The Captain took the time to interact with everyone on the boat and even let the girls each take a turn driving the boat. If youre looking for a deep sea fishing trip on a fun boat then this is the boat for you. We will definitely be returning to this boat for many more trips to come. Thank you again Captain Dave, mates Tyler, Jay, and Matt (with two ts) for some great memories and many more to be made.
Had a blast. Was my first time on a boat, first time on ocean and first time ever fishing. Someone was always right there to help you with any problem before you even had to ask. I never even had to touch fish i caught. Im chicken! Very friendly crew . Im already planning my next trip with them 👍
My wife booked us a trip for Fathers Day. We had an awesome time. Got enough fish for dinner for more than a few nights. The Captain, Brian and mates Josh and Tyler made the trip. They were friendly and always there to help. Definitely want to book another trip with them soon!
Lady Stuart is perfectly located on Hutchinson Island, without a doubt the most beaitiful part of treasure coast. I never had to ask for tackle or a fishing pole and the mates were super helpful. I especially loved the trip out and traveling through the river. Best part of any trip to Stuart.
The most courteous attentive and friendly Captain and crew of any party boat Ive fished on... Im an avid local fisherman and completely understand how fickle fishing can be.. these folks are literally the best of the best of offshore fisherman in this area and deliver a top notch Fishing experience day in and day out...my hats off to them and recommend them highly...all this at such an affordable price is truly a great idea for locals and visitors alike who want to fish our beautiful area
Took my boyfriend for his birthday and it was worth it. Wish the weather and the sea wasnt so bad but it wasnt their fault. Had a great time otherwise. The crew was great. Definitely going to plan another trip.
Not my best fishing trips. I wish I would have read reviews before my husband booked this trip, because I would have probably picked a newer boat. Fish werent biting which sucked. What bothered me the most is something went wrong with the engine (apparently this isnt the first time) and we spent 85% of our time coasting leisurely back. I really wish that time could have been spent fishing, but the captain insisted he had to get to the electrician asap. (Im thinking this problem should have been address BEFORE.)All the other boats were just blowing by us. It was miserable.
Great boat to go on. They make sure you catch some fish. Everyone on the boat were really nice and helpful. The 2 ship mates made the experience perfect for my brother and I. Thank you!
One cannot expect a trophy Marlin on a walk-on fishing boat but you can plan on a great time with these guys.I take family and friends out with this crew every time we have company and sometimes I go by myself. I always come home with dinner, but even more important in my eyes, I always enjoy a day on the water in good company.I have followed first mate Butch from Charter to Charter as he quickly became a friend and guide to all of us. He and his crew are second to none.I can ALWAYS plan on a good time....
Captain and crew top notch. We had a good time I wish I would have gone when it was cooler.
Check in process was painless. The boat was roomy enough for the 30+ people on board. We didnt catch much but that happens in fishing. Overall a nice hassle free experience.
Ive gone out more than a dozen times with Captain Dave, and never failed to catch fish and have a great time. Hes always upfront about conditions and puts safety first. The mates I know--Mike, Jay, and Butch--are companionable and hardworking, and fillet the catch for free. Ive been on headboats in five states, and this trip is the best.
The best crew in Florida! Love going out on that boat.
Ive used these guys a few times when family members are in town and want to fish. We always have a great experience, even if we dont catch any keepers. The crew are great, very helpful and excellent at filleting up our catch. Keep up the great work Lady Stuart!!!
I live in PSL and will definitely be bringing those who stay with me out for a fishing trip on the Lady Stuart. To be honest, I will be going again myself when I feel like fish for dinner! My cousin and I just recently went for a morning trip and could not be more satisfied. You are sure to catch some fish! We reeled in plenty of snapper among many others this time out. The crew made the trip that much more enjoyable. They deserve a lot of credit. Josh and Jay are some of the finest deckhands I have ever met. They were very pleasant and made sure we were taken care of at all times. Not to mention, they can really filet some fish. For a large boat, the individual attention is remarkable. You will be in good hands upon the Lady Stuart 1.
Crew did their best to put us on the right parts of the reef. Always friendly and helpful.
Captain knew just where to go to get fish, which is what you are paying for. Captain and crew were great to passengers and know their business.
Booked trip on monday for thursday. No organization so its every man for himself. The mate dropped my sunscreen and bug spray. By time I found it in cabin and put with my cooler i got stuck on bow fishing. Im disabled. Called fish on 3 times. One time mate showed. Had to walk back in ruff water just to get bait. Speaking of bait...used pieces of cut no shrimp squid or mullet, sardines...so over all waste ..of my time.I live here and this boat was the best walk on. Not anymore. One mate was rude to me as well as the other bow fishing people. ....I guess he likes working for free. Bring your own bait . Its cheap as well as the price. So all and all its a nice boat ride. I guess its good for snowbird.
Dont write reviews often but Ive got to answer Mr.Royse review. I fished the Lady Stuart the same day with Mr.Royse and hiswife:. Im a retired boat captain who held a 100 ton masters license for twenty five years. Ive fished from Massachusetts to the Florida keys on private and charter boats. Having experienced dealing with clients on charters, you sometimes get folks that forget that there are other people on board, and thats what these two folks seem to think.Cap.Brian in my experience, is not just someone who can park a large boat, he is a fisherman who can find fish, and you don,t leave fish to find fish.Today Angeles caught three Mutton Snapper weighing 14,16 and 18 pounds plus other reef fish. We stayed on that one spot for about an hour until the bite stopped. thats when we moved. Now Butch. I dont know Butch personally but Ive fish on the boat about 10 times when hes working. Butch is a knowledgeable fisherman who caters to everyone, hes friendly, personable and is always there to help. Mr.Royce is way off base with his comments, the Lady Stuart isnt the best party boat, but the crew and Captain are top notch. For a half day boat you cant beat the price .
Had a great time. Crew was extremely helpful and friendly. Quick to help with all needs from bait to tackle to unhooking fish.
As the previous review before mine, if I could give no stars I would but Google makes you give at least one!! They dont even deserve that, the day started off terrible! A certain mate (not mentioning names..... BUTCH!!!) acted as if he didnt want to be there... no help whatsoever with bait..... Taking fish off the hook.... or any kind of fishing pointers or help! The way my wife was talked to was completely uncalled for and disrespectful!! They made her feel like she didnt know what she was doing, when she has rented the entire boat out before and taken people on private fishing charters with this company. I think she knows what shes doing, I wouldnt ever advise anyone to take this Charter!! So very dissapointed.. Had high hopes for this company! We traveled almost three hours from our home town to do some fishing, the entire boat might have pulled 15 fish ( I understand its called fishing and not catching) we sat in the same spot for almost the entire time until the captain came over the PA and said we will try one more spot we have 30 minutes left. Just wanted to leave an honest review.
Went at the end of Feb. wonderful trip, great great mates capt worked hard to put us on the fish. go go go
Had a great time...good crew.
Bigger boat taking About 40 fishers. Paid a little to much attention to guys on the stern, either buddies or good repeat customers.
AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tried to book for tuesday morning but they were full. Rescheduled for wednesday morning. We got on the boat, and started off. As we were leaving the channel and enterimg open water, you could see waves 7-12 ft high. If the captain had half a brain,he wouldve turned around, BUT NOO!!!!!!! Very rough ride out to our fishing spot. Everything in the cabin was sliding all over the place. People started to get sea sick, including myself. There were at least 15 people who got sick, but the captain and deckmates were hiding from everyone. Rip off, just trying to make a buck off of people, they dont really care about the customer. Do not go on the Lady Stuart!
Been on a few charter boats and this one was the best one . Captain n crew were great . Josh fillet our fish and was very friendly to my kids
Do not recommend this headboat. It is old and dirty and the the boarding process favors those crusty dudes that fish this boat weekly. Probably wont do this again!
Made a reservation days ahead of time, no one called to inform us the boat was having engine trouble and wouldnt be going out, and this left us no time to make other reservations. Very unprofessional!
Reasonable charter rates. Try to go once a year.
Always a fun day...and best when the fish are biting... And today January 1st 2020...they were biting! The boat caught well over a 100 fish and everybody went home with something to put in the frying pan... The best way to start off a New Year is by fishing! Captain Dave kept us on the fish and Matt and J are great mates... Dave is very accommodating...The Lady Stuart is the best bargain for deep sea fishing in the area...i recommend this for a nice outing...everytime i go i bring a buddy or two like i did todayAnd the whole ride home the conversation is about the fishing and when are we going to go again on the lady Stuart... And at the end you can take your fish home whole fileted or gutted...the mates do whatever you need...
This is a good time and they catch fish what more do you need
I always have a good time on the lady Stuart out-of- Hutchinson Island
Friendly crew, thoroughly pleasant experience. Would do it again. Bring friends. LOTS of friends.
Horrible customer service, I called to book a reservation and was asking questions about both ft pierce and Stuart locations and the lady on the phone was huffing and puffing like she was frustrated that I had questions. I didn’t even bother, I’ll go with a different company. I can’t believe she would act like that to paying customers, how unprofessional.
Captains and Mates are true fishermen, they are not only knowledgeable and helpful but entertaining as well....these trips never disappoint.
Im not the person that gives a review to trash or complain. In fact i enjoy giving excellent reviews and telling everyone how my family and i enjoyed a business or an experience......but i must say....no . .owe it to others to know our experience. Aweful.....not for the lack of fishing ......and always moving to lengthen the trip...because of shark holes.....but the prompting of the business to tip generously.....was all a scam. The help was no help....not freindly....not helpful or deserving of the 30% we gave at all. I would rather charter privately feom now on at a higher cost than have my family subject to such a disrespectful scam again. Worst experience for my family ever! Not because the lack of fiahing.....thats how it goes.....but the sorry effort for a days tips.... Is a memory we cannot forget. Trip was on Sunday the 5th. for responders review....nothing caught ...extra bait bought....but lastly it was not about catchin, but fishing....which was at a minimum...the crew liked this.... Thanks for nothing but pocketing our money Lady Stuart Crew!
More driving then actual fishing. Worst fishing trip and waste of money. Do not recommend to anyone.
If Pat cogossi is the captain do yourself a favor walk away this guy is a complete trouble maker and will make your trip miserable! If you do go please throw Pat overboard!
No Stars! The system made me give one star or I could not submit my post! Worst fishing charter boat I ever experienced. The boat is old and.crusty, I think it was commissioned when ships & boats were discovered. No running water in the female bathroom and the toilets didnt flush (unsanitary )...Hot and miserable boat ride. They take you to poor fishing holes and spots where no one really caught any fish. They stay entirely too long in one fishing area when fish arent bitting ( I guess that is because the ships anchor has to be manually cranked). The bait is imitation squid, the hooks are garbage and the mono line are old and needs to be replaced. The only good thing, is they have nice fishing poles and reels. The ships Captain does not introduce himself or say anything period. For example: when you get in a fishing area, no one is told when to drop his or her fishing lines, or when to start/stop fishing. Most fishing charters toot their horn or ring the bell to acknowledge when one can or cannot fish, or when to start to fish. This fishing trip was straight garbage and every one on board deserves to have their money or half refunded. I will never ever go on this old decrelped fishing boat. It needs to be docked, cut in half, used for srap metal or rebuilt. I do not recommend this fishing charter and it needs to be reported to the BBB and DOT for inspection and review to ensure passengers safety. Also, they should encorage tipping, not enforce it. Let the passengers decided if and/or & how they want to spend their money.
I cannot speak highly enough of captain brian and the mates (butch, mike zach ) on the lady stuart i have gone out with them several times in the past weeks and even when i didnt catch any keepers i have always had a great time all the mates treat you like family and are extremely helpfull and will do almost anything to accommodate you the first day i went i didnt know about the No braid rule and mike took the time to put my braid on another reel and put some mono line on my reel and then helped me put the braid back on after the fishing day was over they do not hesitate to go out of their way to help customers . I hoghly recommend the lady stuart !!!!!!!!
Very nice crew, amazing experience.
Amazing time caught a lot of fish... They do a great job making sure people catch fish
Great bunch...Cant be beat!
When you get to the boat and before you even see the boat the lady taking the money asks if you want to leave a tip. My wife and I just walked away. This is not a company we want to do business with!
Great time, great fishing, great crew . Had an awesome time .
Not a well run outfit. Bad decisions have repercussions.
One of the worst experiences for our group conditions were grossly misrepresented the tour the day before had a similar experience half of the group was puking the others were hanging on for dear life. Should have been canceled for another day too greedy ship captain.
The boat broke down when we were a hour out.... then we had to wait 30 minutes for our cash back
Great crew and caught a lot of fish
