Attended Daymaker Charters fishing camp in December. I had recently moved to Florida and needed some help learning to fish offshore here. Captain Price shared years of hard earned knowledge over two days on rigging, bait selection, finding fish, kite fishing and trolling. Advanced technique on leveraging the dredge and hooking up sailfish on light tackle were covered. Capt Price is a hardworking and knowledgable captain who had more billfish tagged in 2020 than any other captain in south Florida! After an hour or so of instruction each day. we learned on the water. We went 5/10 on sails also caught Blackfin Tuna. By the end of the second day we had some skills and confidence and a lot of training to put into practice. South Florida sees quite a bit of fishing pressure so the techniques learned are critical to catch fish here. No need to learn by experimentation and burning gas while wondering if you are fishing correctly. Let Daymaker Charters get you started... you wont regret it!
My son Luca had an epic few days of fishing last weekend with Patrick Price on the DayMaker Charters as part of Pats January fish camp. Two days of fishing from 5am-5pm learning all of the top fishing skills and techniques.Pat is one of the best fisherman I know so it was a no brainer that when he announced his January fishing camp that we wanted Luca to be a part of it.Not only is Pat an awesome fisherman he’s a great guy that does a ton to help out people in need. Raising money and organizing events to help the Bahamians from hurricane disasters as well as helping others who struggle or are sick from terminal illnesses. If you’ve donated to any of the Bahamian hurricane relief work I’ve done in the past Pat is one of the key guys who makes things like that happen.Day 1 ended up with 45 mahi keeping 43 of them and 27 Bonito.Day 2 was kite fishing day landing 5 sailfish, a mahi and a blackfin tuna.Yes, we’ve been eating really good all week long. 😛Best of all is that Capt Luca can now use all of these skills and techniques on our boat and teach us how it’s done.If you’re visiting FL or live here and want to go out with a great guy who puts fish in the boat give him a shout. Pat Price at Daymaker Charters!!!
I would 100% recommend this fishing charter to anyone who is looking for a memorable fishing experience! We caught a Sailfish that we tagged, Amber Jack, and a King Mackerel! We went home with so much meat that Captain Pat helped us fillet at the end of the day. He was so helpful with setting up the rods and teaching us about each of them and how to use them properly.
I just spent two days with Capt Pat Price as part of his Fish Camp, it was exactly what I needed. Ive fished my entire life from Lake Erie in MI as a kid to the last 35 yrs here in FL and I learned a ton. We learned everything from how he likes to rig his baits and why, plus many little simple fishing hacks that make it so much quicker and easier. Ive caught quite a few sailfish before but not very many multiples, we learned how to turn a single bite into multiple bites. In one case we turned a single into a quad hook up, it was a great experience and would do it again!!!
Absolutely the best captain and best fishing boat that we have ever been on. Can’t even explain how awesome and eventful our trip was. Thank you Pat
My husband and I went out with Pat for half a day while we were on our honeymoon. Pat was so knowledgeable and worked his tail off to try and put us on some fish. He was very kind and helped me when I was feeling some motion sickness. We left the boat with great memories and mahi mahi for dinner! Would absolutely book with him again.
Had a great day fishing with capt. Patrick, he worked very hard to make sure we all caught fish, great personality, we all learned a lot about off shore fishing, would highly recommend, we will be back
What a day we had. Patrick is the best in the business. He cares about the customers and the bite. So much fun!
We had a great day. If you love the excitement of catching fish Daymaker should be your choice. We caught a great variety of fish and got to use and learn all kinds of methods. Trolling, live bait, lures, bottom fishing, site fishing you name it. Also the boat has plenty of room and with its weight it takes the seas will. We were in 4-5 ft swells and there was no problem at all. It was a great rip with a great captain.
Captain Patrick is an amazing captain. He has taken a group of veterans out and gave them a day to remember for our organization Courage on All Fronts. He is also taking out another group at the end of May. I cant say enough good things about Captain Patrick. If you are looking for a great day on the water call him.
Another GREAT DAY on the Daymaker. If your on the treasure coast and looking to book a charter you need to call them. I have lived her for 25 years and Pat is off the hook runs an 34 boat with 4 anglers and IS the mate and CAPTAIN. The guy smells fish and will put fish in the box. [Its a big one] .Come prepared to catch fish not drink beer. You Dont have time.... Thanks again Pat. Booked another trip wouldnt consider anyone else. PERIOD.
I special thanks to all the crew members of Day Maker Fishing Charters who make my trip memorable. I became a fan of the whole team, the way they handle, their calm behavior and cooperate with customers. If any one want to go Stuart, I highly recommend them to use Day Maker Fishing Charters services.
Hard working captain that will bust his butt to put you on fish. Honest and wont waste your time if the fishing is off! Goes above and beyond to get his customers on fish.
Very knowledgeable Captain and works his derriere off to make sure everyone catches fish . Very nice riding Sea Vee w top notch equipment
I had a great experience with Daymaker Fishing Charters. We were on the 44 Alakai for a day trip during the month of May. This boat is well maintained and seemed to be recently refurbished inside the cabin. The AC worked extremely well in the cabin, even with people frequently going in and out. The Captain and the Mate were very patient with me and were willing to answer my questions. I am somewhat of a novice when it comes to off-shore fishing. We caught cobia, dolphin (mahi), black fin tuna and several other species. They obviously know what they are doing and they put us on the fish at every stop. The fishing equipment was relatively new and well maintained as well. I have been on other charters where we had to nurse some equipment to get it to work, but the folks at Daymaker provided equipment that was well maintained and everything worked liked it was supposed to. I highly recommend them, and I will use them again in the future.
Pats AWESOME! Enough said.
I have fished with Daymaker Charters twice in the past year. The charter captain is very experienced and knows his stuff. Never had any problem catching fish (sailfish, king mackeral, amberjack, dolphin fish/Mahi Mahi). I highly recommend this charter service. You will not be disappointed.
5 out of 5 starts is an understatement. Pat Price goes out of his way at every turn to make sure that everybody on board has a good time. We recently got back from a overnight tuna trip and the fishing was great the boat performed flawlessly, pat was courteous and super helpful!!! We were provided with fresh bait, electric reels, air conditioning and excellent cottages in the bahamas. We caught yellowfin tuna, blackfin tuna, skipjack tuna, grouper, snapper, almaco jack, etc. We came back with a ton of fish and memories to last a lifetime. If I could rate the experience for more than 5 stars, i would!!
Even though the fishing was tough and the weather was windy our inshore trip was amazing. our guide gave is everything he had to put us on fish and just all around preformed at an exceptionally high standard.
BEST FISHING CHARTERS!!
