Absolutely loved this charter! All I wanted was to do a charter for my birthday. 6 of us went out with Capt Josh and First Mate, Trent. They could not have been better to us. We laughed, they matched our humor, they just were the perfect combo for our group.They set us up for perfect fishing. Lots of snapper & king fish. Couple trigger. We hooked a sailfish. The excitement as we were catching fish topped the whole experience. Not only were we excited for fish, they were too. Came home with a cooler of cut/cleaned fish.We didn’t even get off the deck before my husband and best friend’s husband were wanting to book another trip with them.5 stars isn’t enough for the experience we had with Capt Josh and Trent. They definitely deserve way more than 5. Not at any point could I say, I was unhappy with our experience.

You can definitely tell the difference between someone that cares and someone that is just doing this as a job. We were very fortunate to have a team of Captain Josh and first mate dustin. When the day started out as the mate that was supposed to go with us not showing up, I said uh oh. Josh did everything he could and more to make sure that the kids stayed engaged and had a great time. We went out and caught some bait and then caught a shark, a beautiful mahi which we ate for dinner and went one for two on sailfish. My son called his first selfish which was definitely awesome to see. I highly recommend Captain Josh and if are you I would request him personally.

I had an awesome day with Captain Josh and First Mate Trent. My family had a quick vacation to Hutchinson Island in August 2021 and Catch of the Day had a day open in our schedule. Great guys. Easy going but serious charter fishermen. The weather was good and we caught fish. A big deal for a guy from Ohio. I highly recommend this outfit and will call again when I get to Hutchinson Island.

Had a blast with Captain Josh and His First Mate!! Caught a snapper and a half because of a shark. Then got the opportunity to hook two sailfish and actually catch one of them! If you have a party of three or 5 this is the perfect way to go! 8hrs of fun!

Josh and Chad set up a great day of fishing for us as we visited from out of town. Catching fish was incredible. We seemed to catch ever variety including Mahi-mahi, Kingfish, and Cobia. Five of us fit comfortably on deck as Josh and Chad shared knowledge and stories all while working very hard to keep the bite very active and organized. Captain Josh is awesome and puts you on the fish! Not just that, but is willing to teach you how if you are willing to learn! Hooked up with a monster Mahi, Sailfish, and Bonita. Even though it was a little rough, turned out to be a great day. Planning my next trip now.

Another adventurous day on the water with Captain Josh. Yellowtail Snapper were the fish of the day. I pulled in a 3lb. Yellowtail which is quite large for this area and it was a blast with it shaking its head the whole way to the boat. We also pulled in two Nurse Sharks and a 3ft Bull Shark. If you are looking for a great time of fishing, Captain Josh is your guy. Keep up the great work!!!

Awesome Capt and crew! Want to catch fish?! We limited on V. Snapper and caught lane snapper, mutton, banded rudderfish and plenty of Black Sea Bass. Had so much fun, we booked a second day and repeated, and then added mackerel to the list!

Had a great time with Catch of the Day fishing charter! We missed Captain Josh, but Captain Alex and first mate Ashley did a great job. This was our first experience with deep sea fishing and we caught some once in a lifetime fish! A Sailfish that was close to 5’ and a giant Goliath Grouper estimates at 300lbs were the highlights of the day! They were very active in trying to keep us on fish which was great! Would definitely recommend this group for your fishing adventure!!!

My review is for captain Josh himself. Captain Josh unfortunately was not able to accommodate my group for the day I had to have. I was surprising my husband for his 50th birthday and was looking for a charter for a specific day as we had people flying in to surprise him as well from other States. Captain Josh went above and beyond to help me find another charter that could accommodate us. Even though we are not able to fish with captain Josh, his integrity rings true. Not many people would take their time to help somebody knew that they were not going to make any money off. Thank you again captain Josh for finding us a charter.

Was fortunate enough to fish the Treasure Coast Bonito Blast on the Catch of the Day this past Saturday and had a great time. Captain and crew were easy going and personable. Chartered for a day with my family with 4 kids ages 16, 14, 11, and 8. Could not have been more pleased. They catered to our desires to get the kids into fish, and to catch fish they could eat. We came home with a huge haul. I will definitely be back with friends for a trip to catch bigger fish because I believe it would also be a great trip. Josh was easy to contact. Alex was a great captain. Could not be more pleased. We will be back.

Fished quite a few times with Josh the Captain of Catch Of the Day Charters! He is such an experienced and knowledgeable Captain and Fisherman! Our fish box never comes in empty! WOW......incredible and best fishing experience of my life fishing with Josh. We got into monster bull sharks and Goliath grouper. Crazy battles. Had the time of my life battling giant bull sharks. Captain Josh and Ron were really fun to fish with. Both absolutely knew what they were doing. Caught live bait fast and were off to the first spot catching kings, grouper and sea bass. At the first sign of the bite slowing they took us out a little further to drift. Hooked up with more kings and had more fish dip than we could handle the next day. Great experience. Highly recommended!

I went on Catch Of The Day with 3 friends who had never been on a charter before and they had no idea what to expect or to do. The Mate and Captain were wonderful with my guys, they put us on fish fast, taught the green horns what to do in just a few minutes and before we knew it fish were flopping everywhere on fishing rods waiting to be taken off the lines. We caught 6 giant kings, tons of lane snappers, sea bass, mangrove snapper, parrots and even a few sharks. I come to Florida every year at this time of year to fish for a week or two, you can bet that Catch Of The Day will be the boat that I will be hiring. We had such a great time with Captain Josh and Jake. They were very professional and did everything for you (from seating up all the lines, and checking them regularly to flaying our fish). Josh was also extremely helpful in accommodating us at the last minute and fitting us into a rain free window, in an otherwise rain filled week. We will definitely book with Captain Josh the next time we are in FL.

I went out yesterday for a 7 hour Bottom fishing trip. We left at 7am and by 7:30 Josh found the fish by 8:30 we had at least 10 boats around us. Even the other captains know who the best boat is. I caught huge snapper, African Pompano, Cobia, king fish and even had a few sharks on. My arms are aching today!! Great day!! I’m planning an overnight Sword fish trip when I came back. Fish with Josh and you won’t be disappointed. When you go fishing with him, it’s more Catching than fishing!!!

We booked a half day, morning charter with Captain Josh. Walking down the dock and up to the boat, we were surprised how the boat looked even nicer than in the pictures. We headed out and was greeted by a choppy ocean, but was very comfortable in the cabin with bench seating. Fishing was a little slow and Captain Josh and his mate John, were very knowledgeable and accommodating in finally locating us some fish. Just as we were headed in, a nice little storm came in. Once again, the nice ride and oversized cabin played another key role in the enjoyment of our trip. A well earned 5 stars, and cant wait to go again!!!

Josh showed our group a great time. He and mate Chad both worked hard on our all day charter. We fished several different ways and caught sailfish, kingfish, grouper, snapper, bonito, shark, triggerfish, remora and more. The guys are knowledgeable and fun. We have all been on a number of charters and we would rate this one among the best.

Captain Josh did a great job of getting us on a good catch of yellow tail snapper on a very challenging weather day, wind and big waves. He has a very clean and comfortable boat, and was quite knowledgeable, helpful and courteous with us as some of us weren’t as experienced as others.

Went out with Josh Grau on the Catch of the Day last week, very nice operation. Wide boat, plenty of cabin space and clean. Diesel ran clean with no smoke which is a big deal for me and Josh has plenty of local knowledge for what ever you want to do.

Had a great day out with Captain Josh. He kept us on the fish all day. Was a little choppy but we stayed dry and warm in the cabin. His boat takes the rough water and is very quiet. We had a delicious meal that night of our catch of the day.

Went out wish Josh last week. We caught a sail wahoo and cobia. And a lot of bottom fish. First class captain and person. He took some of our catch home and made sushi and brought it back to the dock the next day. Highly recommend. I’ve been on a lot of offshore charters and Josh was without question the best captain I have had.

Had a great time fishing on the Catch of the Day. Even with 5 to 6 feet of waves the boat handled really well. We caught 20 fish, 7 different species. It was a fun experience and Captain Josh was very helpful.

Saved our vacation! Josh saved our vacation! It was the 6th day of vacation and we had to check out the next morning. We had booked and had 4 trips cancelled by other boats. We saw Josh on the dock cleaning his boat and prepping lines for his trip the next day. We talked a little and he offered to take us out RIGHT THEN as it was the last chance we had to go fishing. We got on fish right away, caught a bunch of species and got to bring some fish home in the cooler! Thank you again Josh!
