Terrible customer service, completely rude, high priced, rude.There are plenty of other places to go. Highly recommend not spending a dime there. Bought a bike, after that called up and the guy clearly has fallen off his bike a few to many times, why else would he be rude to a customer asking questions.When I bought the bike they were rude as well, I try to support local business that’s why I bought there. Not what it used to be, I have bought 4 bikes from this dealer over a 25 year span and Im sorry to say that the attitude has changed. They no longer sell Trec and have replaced that line with Giant, my first Trec from them was in 1996 and now the Trec store is on US 1. What Happened?

I blew out a tire on my bike a couple of weeks ago. I bought 2 new tires and tubes which my husband planned on installing. After he gouged his hand trying to get the old tire off, we took the weels to the Bike Shop to let them do it. We thought their price to install was well worth it. I had the wheels with the new tires back the next day, as expected. When I went to check the pressure in the tires before riding, a few days later, I found that one of the valves didnt work well so I returned with the wheel. They replaced the tube, on the spot, at no charge. I couldnt be happier.

I am in Stuart for three months on vacation and had a blowout on my trek bicycle, decided to take it to the bike shop to have the tire rear tire replaced and thought I would get a tuneup and rear light also. The quoted price was sounded reasonable, but I’m bringing the bike home noticed the gears slipping in the mid range and also noticed the chain didn’t appear to be cleaned or lubed, I called the shop back talk to Luke who did the work and he didn’t sound very interested in my problem.I don’t have another week to leave the bike there so I’ll use it the way it is and have it looked at when I get home from this vacation.

Worst shop on the Treasure Coast. Dont trust these people, they are snake oil salespeople. I took a bike there today for a flat tire and a chain replacement and without even looking at my bike or placing a chain space gauge or ANYTHING on my bike some bimbo at the counter there said I have to put new chain and derailleurs together on the bike because they match as they wear? OMG how false, and technically if you know bikes its imperative to say crank or cassette sprockets that identify the parts she thought she knew about. Its not even derailleurs we are discussing here. I instructed her its common to replace chains as service item and doing so KEEPS the sprockets from wearing and getting sharp. She started arguing how she had 30 years experience and knew what she was doing. I told her even the manual states that changing chains to avoid wear is required and she repeated louder that she has 30 years experience and that you have to replace them together. As she said it louder, the male partner came over and I asked her if she thought she knew more than the manufacturing engineers at Giant bicycles and they both got hostile and stated I was being condescending. At this point I graciously said Im not comfortable leaving the bike at all even for the flat and as I was leaving they said yea, go find another bike shop. This is exactly what happened and what is astounding is I have bought bikes here in the past and sent others there to buy bikes. Shame on these fools. We have a tight knit community and when you get the feeling like ewww, these people dont belong here, go back to wherever you came from, thats sad. The proof of their character will be in their reply to this, watch them dodge the facts, say things not relevant, deny, and or change the story with their reply. The proper thing to do is to apologize not to me but to our community, because if you want to be part of us, listen to people, at least look at their concern before you pipe off about things you dont know about and for gods sake, dont rip the public off for parts they dont need. Be a bike shop, like the old days. AND ANOTHER THING, update your address in yellow pages, even your pictures show your old shop. Get a grip and put new photos too showing the new place. If you think 30 years has you knowing everything you have ordained yourself a fool. The market is changing fast with ebikes and new technology, the 30 years may be working against you, think about that.

Super great customer service, I purchased a tube for the tire that I decide to put together and I finished the tube and create another hole in there and they took the tire and replaced the tube at no charge. This is how you get customers to come back. Thank you

I got my daughters bike serviced at Bike Shop Inc. a couple of days ago, and we are happy we chose them. I did not feel unwelcome. Our needs were heard clearly and received warmly. I was greatly surprised by their quick and efficient work. The charges were not astronomical. I was not hustled to purchase unneeded products or services. They got straight to the matter without being abrupt or discourteous.

Don’t trust these people

Rudest staff ever! I have worked in customer service for over 40 years and I am appalled at their attitudes. I will never set foot in there again. I make it a point not to post bad reviews. On the contrary, I make it a point to post only good reviews, and if I have a problem with a vendor I take it up with them and dont go public. However, in this case I make an exception. They are appallingly rude! Just one example--during a phone call when I asked them how late they were open so that I could pick up my bike, the owner responded our hours are on the internet. I had to ask him 3 times. It only got worse from there... I was warned not to go there but I was in a hurry and didnt have time to go all the way down to my usual place in Hobe Sound. Live and learn I guess. I wont make that mistake again. I will add that 10 years ago I always went in there with my boys bikes. Purchased bikes from them, always took them them for repair, never had a problem. Over the last few years Ive heard nothing but bad things about them but I decided to give them a chance. Ugh... there are better places in town that will appreciate your business! Steer clear of this one.

On a Wednesday, I dropped off my bike to have them check the front tire, because I was having to pump it up every couple of weeks, and to also give it a tune up. Steve, the owner, said that you have to pump up every once in a while when not using it often. I asked, then why did the back tire go flat? He is such an idiot. I should have walked out with the bike right then and there.I asked if it would be ready by the following Tuesday because I was going out of town with it. They said definitely it would be. I called the following Monday morning to see if it was ready and they said they have not looked at it yet. I reminded them I needed it by Tuesday. Thirty minutes later they called me to say it’s ready. I was skeptical that they even did anything. I asked about the tire and how can I be sure the air won’t leak out again. Steve said “It’s fixed”. I suggested maybe I should leave it there overnight to make sure. Thinking about that suggestion was pretty silly considering they said it was fixed. However, my friend had to pick it up for me that day so leaving it overnight was not an option after all. Why should it be? They claimed they fixed it. Two days later while I am out of town with my bicycle, went to use it, and the tire was flat. I called and spoke to Susanna. She asked ME what THEY did. I thought she was talking to her husband Steve because I would think THEY know what THEY did. But she was actually asking me! I stated “How the heck should I know what you did”? I said good bye. Steve calls me right back and says, “Didn’t we discuss you leaving it here overnight to make sure the tire is fixed”? I said, “Didn’t WE? It was ME that suggested it and why in the world would that even have been necessary in the first place if you supposedly fixed the tire”?I ended up having to buy a new tire and putting it on elsewhere. When I went back to ask for a refund, they refused and asked me to leave the store. These people do not know what customer service is.

I dont even know where to start! These people are the best! They have gone above and beyond for me. I visited other bike shops before I found this one and will never go anywhere else. Great place to purchase a bike and they do great repair work which they stand behind.

I was incredibly impressed with my experience at the Bike Shop. Steve helped me out, and did a spectacular job doing so. I was able to test-drive bikes, and Steve very kindly explained how gears worked- he actually took me behind the counter and showed me. I ended up purchasing a beautiful Raughleigh Eva 29. They also helped me choose a new seat. Worth every penny. Steve and his employees were so kind and helpful. One satisfied customer here, ladies and gents!

The Bike Shop staff went as far as to stop what they were doing and assembled several bikes for me to test ride before my purchase. In the end, I wasn’t upsold something I didn’t need. What I liked and was ultimately suggested was in the lower end of my budget.....5 stars isn’t enough..... JHH.

This is my bike shop for life. If someone told me to imagine a bike shop and staff it with quality individuals to my liking, i still couldnt match the stelar folks at The Bike Shop. As a member of the community who works first hand with people and customer service, my expectations, in that regard, are rarely met much less exceeded. However, the wealth of knowledge and level of customer service is surprisingly fresh. I would recommend this bike shop to anyone anywhere. Well worth the drive if your arent close. Walk through the door and youre instantly greeted by smiles and attention to your needs. The men and women who work there truly love what they do and it shows. I feel like family when im there.

Awesome bike shop. Needed to get my tires and tubes replaced. I am a novice at this and did this for me. They did charge for the service, but that is to be expected. Plus I would rather have them do it then me.

Went in with two tires that I thought needed tubes. He found 3 spokes that were broken and fixed them for a bit more than I was wanting to spend but he also saved me 10 bucks as I didnt need a tube in one of the tires. Very happy with this shop! I will go back.

Bought my bike here-never again. Long turnaround-inattentive owner diagnosed $40 repair when I needed an adjustment. Wanted to charge $15 for 5 minute installation of a part to be purchased in store. Much more favorable experience in Port St Lucie Rte. 1.

I want to give a big THANK YOU to The Bike Shop for saving my a** on my recent 250 mile ride. I flew into West Palm (from Atlanta) and TSA inspected my bike bag and lost my (unique) SI headset cap for my Cannondale SuperSix. After making numerous calls to other shops to no avail, Steve (the owner) pulled down one of his inventory bikes, removed the cap and installed it on my bike! The ride went off flawlessly. Needless to say I was impressed and extremely appreciative of their time and service. 5 stars!!

After buying 2 bikes from them, I was very disappointed to find out that they would not make good on a mistake that they made. They put the wrong seat on my bike and delivered it but would not bring the correct seat to me, preventing me from riding my bike until I could take time off of work to get to their store. If this is how they treat customer who bought 2 expensive bikes, one can only imagine their overall customer service.

Great experience, Reese is very knowledgable and pressure free. I went in set on a Cannondale and I noticed a Giant around the same price range. He pointed out the differences and encouraged me to test ride the bikes. I was ready to buy one he had on hand, but he convinced me to try the next size up. He built the same model a size up for the perfect fit. Thanks again Reese for the Giant ATX 27.5.

After asking around our neighborhood we were told to take our bikes to the Bike Shop. A month ago I took two used bikes that my husband and I purchased from individuals in our community. They were older bikes his a Schwinn, and mine a Huffy, and they had not been used much but a tire was worn on my husbands bike and they said he needed a part, and mine they said did not need tires just tubes. Its been a few weeks and we have ridden them about six time. My tires started going flat again right away. In fact the first time we rode it outside of our neighborhood I had to stop and wait on the bridge while my husband rode to home depot to get fix a flat. Mind you I just filled it with air before we left thinking I would be ok. So after having to filling the tires ever time I ride the bike with 10-20# of air I decided to take it back in. The guy talks to me like I cant read a gauge. He said youll loose air. I asked I understand that but 10-20# every time, even if it is the next day? So he said Ill change the rear tube and check the front. I told him I just filled both with air before bringing them in. He didnt say this was an extra charge but did say if they find that I ran over something they will save it to show me. So I get a call that my bike is ready and I go pick it up. She said it is $16.91 for the tube. I said he didnt tell me he was charging me. She said we dont guarantee any tube. I asked about the front one. She said the ticket just said change rear tube. I explained the situation again and she said you are going to lose air. I asked her why they talk to people like they are stupid and cant read a gauge on an foot pump. Then she says oh well that is different if you are losing that much every time. Didnt bother to check it either. I will never go back there. All those that recommended this place to us I will tell them of my experience and I will go 100 miles out of my way before I go back there. I dont need to be treated like that. I may not have a custom made bike but they dont know that I wouldnt be coming back as a future customer, but not now or ever.

I purchased a rear-view mirror from the shop. The clerk told me that the merchandise was exchangeable, but not refundable.I found the mirror did not work on my bike and they didnt have any other options that worked for me, so I called and asked if they would make an exception to their policy. I had just purchased the item a few hours earlier, I was visiting the area on vacation, and I had no other bike accessory needs at this time so I didnt want to hold the shop credit.The owner Steve said he would do it, but was quite nasty and condescending. I said, I dont appreciate how you are handling this. He said, Keep the mirror and hung up on me.I would never do business with this shop again, and I would recommend others BEWARE.
