Deer Park Dental is the best. I’ve been going to Dr. Von Tersch for years and consistently he has been kind, courteous and excellent in dental care. His staff is a beautiful reflection of how he treats his patients . As a patient, I’m always treated as a number one priority. They have guided me through the most difficult situations (in my mouth) to a star patient at my bi-annual cleanings. Since the Covid tide, they have taken every possible precaution in keeping their patients safe. Five stars are not enough…they deserve a ten!

When I first came to Deer Park Dental, I was suffering from a serious gum disease and also needed a root canal w/crown. Dr. Scott coordinated and oversaw all of my treatments and today, my gums are in very good shape. Woo-Hoo! I deeply appreciate her and the entire team because it has been a complete team effort.This includes the Receptionist and other administrative staff and every Hygienist who performed my teeth cleanings. I forgot to mention in my previous review that Deer Park Dental is in a very nice, convenient, clean and peaceful environment. The office is a few blocks from Hwy I-5 and theres always parking available. And when I walk through the courtyard and into the office, its always a peaceful and relaxing feeling. Dental visits can be intimidating, but Ive always had a good experience at Deer Park Dental.

Long term client of Dr. Moreno, he fixed another dentists poor periodontal care, and has kept me stable for 20+ years without aggressive intervention. Dr. Janice fitted two crowns with no issues or problems. Staff is always personable, billing is clear and professional. My hygenist goes the extra mile to ensure comfort and sparkling cleaning.

From my first consultation, through the fitting, adjustments, delivery and insertion of my dentures, the care, chair-side manner and professionalism of Dr. Scott was better than any other dentist by whom I have been treated. I began with Dr. Mike in his office in Sonora 20+ years ago. He sold the office and I moved to Modesto, but continued to see him in Stockton. I still make the commute from either Sonora where I work, or from Modesto. I would NEVER go anywhere else and I highly recommend not only Dr. Mike, but Dr. Janice and now Dr. Von Tersch, who today finished a bonding on my teeth to strengthen them at the gumline. Beautiful job! Everyone in the office is like family: Ida, Perry, Joyce, and Maria is super-fantastic as my hygienist. After having an absolutely terrible ordeal with a different dentist in Stockton; I was fortunate to find Dr. Scott and her team at Deer Park Dental. What a huge difference it is!! They all are super friendly, and truly made me feel comfortable and confident in choosing them. I emailed in a state of panic, and within one business day had a response and an appointment. Thanks Joyce! I was seen by Dr Scott within a two days due to my scheduling. Dr. Scott thoroughly examined my teeth, and went over treatment for the mishap at the other place. I feel 100% better after my visit, whereas the last place I left in tears. All the treatment that the previous dentist required was actually not needed at all. I have been going to Deer park Dental for 15 years. Dr. Janice Scott, Dr. Christopher von Tersch and Dr. Michael Moreno are caring and knowledgeable in their field. They are always patient with my children. I lived in Stockton for 11 years and went to western dental and some other dental office that messed up a filling. Dr. Scott fixed my tooth and set up a cleaning for me. When it was time for my daughter to start getting her teeth cleaned the office made sure she was comfortable she didnt want to sit in the chair so they subjected that she sit in my lap and that worked my daughter let the hygienist and Dr. Scott work in her mouth and when she had a cavity at age 6 I was afraid that she was going to be traumatized because she had to get a Novocaine shot. Ida and Joyce told me not to prepare her before the appointment and to just let Dr. Scott tell her what was going to happen. Dr. Scott explained everything to her in a way that a 6 year old could understand. Dr. Scott gave her the shot with no problems and did the filling.When I moved to Elk Grove I tried different dentists big mistake. I went for a cleaning and they didnt even scrape the teeth just polished them. I took my 2 year old there and he would not sit down for nothing he was crying too. I took him to Dr. Scott a week later she was patient with him. He sat on my lap while the hygienist cleaned his teeth and Dr. Scott looked at his teeth. It was amazing he didnt even cry there is something about this office that made him feel at home. It took 2 years but finally he decided that he didnt need to sit on my lap anymore and he sat there like a big boy. Now my baby is 7 years old and he had his first cavity and I was afraid of how he was going to react so I sent my husband with him to Dr. von Tersch. He explained what was going to happen and what to expect. He was receptive to Dr. von Tersch and didnt even feel she shot he said.I often get asked why I go so far for a dentist. I tell them that this is the best dentist in Stockton and I cant find any office just like it. I go to Deer Park Dental because of the people that work there they are always happy, they know what they are doing from the front office to the back, the hygienists, dental assistants, and all 3 doctors you can not find any one better. Dr. Mike is funny he always has a joke for you. The office staff is very accommodating they always schedule my children and me at the same time and we almost have it down to 2 hours. The office is 40 miles away from my house I would never go anywhere else They are the best office.
