Do not join this gym. Canceled membership due to Covid 19. Owner offered no discounts due to gym closing. Once gym opened, Owner charged for hand sanitizer. The Sanitizer should have been free to members. After cancellation, membership fees are still deducted two months after cancellation.

Theyve got what you need, clean locker room, and equipment. Steel weights. Just wish they would have access to cardio room after hours for calisthenics. Good 24 hour facility.

Its been a long time since I found a gym as well-run as this one.While the selection of machines and weights is only slightly greater than the several nearby, cookie-cutter corporate chains, the clientele and owner/staff are very different, a far better experience.For example, I had first gone to several of the 24 hour fitness sort of places nearby, wanting to buy a FAMILY plan, for myself and my three teenage boys. None of them offer group plans, any more. $20/month sounds reasonable until they tell me its per person, so $80/month for a family of four.But when I came to Body Talk, and found THEY didnt have a family plan either, the owner happened to be nearby and overheard. He came over and worked out a much more reasonable deal with me, which I happily accepted.He was curiously careful to warn me, though, that its a REAL gym. Like people are really working out, including a lot of body builders and other people serious about the effort theyre putting in. If youre some Delicate Snowflake whos reassured by the Planet Fitness no lunks mentality, I think hed agree youd be happier THERE, not here. While signs discourage people screaming with effort or encouragement and slamming weights, you can still tell theres more honest effort going on than in some millennials Safe Space.Most of the people here are in good shape. As someone who did a little body building 25 years ago but is just getting back to working out after a few years of slacking, Im probably the least fit person Ive noticed so far.But, to be clear, I havent gotten a single judgemental glance, everyone either does their own thing or is pleasantly friendly.Especially the owner and staff. They always check in when they see us there, and also encourage my kids to join in the (included in the membership) group workout stuff, if its happening when we arrive.

Lots of equipment and great aerobics classes. Ab class is my favorite!
