Needed a hair cut for summer. They got me right in!! More than Im use to paying but it was beyond worth it!! Definitely my new place to go get my haircut!!

We usually have Joe cut our sons hair, he was out sick so we agreed for another barber to cut his hair. We arrived on time for our appointment. Barber excused her sled said would be right back, left after waiting for 10 min. Called back today to schedule with Joe, the owner was very rude and said I would have to talk to Joe since we walked out on the last appointment. I explained to him the situation he became even more rude and hung up on me. I have seen them treat other people this way. Not sure how people that are so unprofessional stay in business.

My son needed a haircut and we are new to the area so I did a quick search for Barber shops on the area. I saw all the other great reviews and selected DB1. The online portal made it super easy to schedule a same day appointment. The first name is escaping me but her last name was Avilla. She did such an amazing job with my son. She was able to work with his many positions and request lol. When he told her there was hair on his tablet she quickly wiped it off for him. That is just a small bit of everything we enjoyed about her. The environment was clean, comfortable, and felt homey. We will 100% be back for all of little guys haircuts!

Owners name is Randall Pryor, goes by Doc Very good service. I lucked out and got to do a walk in. He is efficient but not hasty. Took his time and the overall experience is definitely worth a second trip. I never take the time to primp and Im not use to it but definitely worth a second trip.

When you think of an old school barbershop you dont think of a bunch of woman cutting hair (AKA Salon). It saddens me to say thats the experience I received at Downtown Barbershop. Sure the atmosphere/decor says barbershop but the multiple times Ive been there the haircuts/shaves/and conversations doesnt live up to the barbershop standards we all grew up with and love. I should walk out of that shop feeling like a brand new man and proud to say I got my haircut at the Downtown Barbershop. Instead I felt like I was just another quick $20 so they can move on to the next sucker in line. The hours of the shop are very inconstant. Seems like they change their hours monthly and close up shop whenever they feel like going home. I cant count the times I tried to go get a cut at 3, 4, 5, in the afternoon or they are just randomly closed on a weekday. Very bad for returning business if you ask me. I would love to see this shop become more what I would except out of a barbershop. I dont even mind paying a little more for that to happen. If I wanted a salon cut I would stick to the $10 haircuts at Pro-Cuts. Please step up your game and be proud of your pastime.

I moved here about a month ago and have been searching for a good barbershop that provides more than the *crap* cookie cutter cut that chain places offer. And the search is over, got a fantastic cut and trim, from a fantastic barber. He was able to look at my hair and cut it without me having to tell him what I wanted. Just finished getting a cut by Amber. Never had an actual paid for haircut outside of the service, so telling the barber what I wanted I was like a deer in the headlights. All I said was make me look presentable and she went above and beyond. $21 for a haircut and straight razor is not bad at all. Worth every penny and I will defiantly go back.

Love this place! I went here for the entirety of my graduate studies at Oklahoma State University. Make an appointment if you dont want to wait. My last haircut for my job interview in Texas last week definitely had something to do with me getting the job. I always look sharp and put together after I leave here.Randall Pryor, the owner, his huge friendly dog, and his staff of well trained barbers are all awesome will take the best care of you (except for his dog, he doesnt cut hair but will keep you company while you wait). This is the only choice in Payne County if you are looking for an old school precise barber haircut with an inviting atmosphere at a fair price.This is a mens barber shop so dont come in here expecting to get a womens salon haircut or some weird modern trendy haircut, it wont happen. Had my hair cut today by Kesley Burnette, it was great and all around a good time. Usually after leaving from a cut i feel awkward and felt unsure on how good the cut was, but here i have never felt that way. The staff are welcoming and great to talk with, service was great as well. If you never have been to Downtown Barbershop i highly recommend you go.

As a person who has tried most of the barbershops in Stillwater (not all), I easily say that this place is far better than the other barbershops I have been to in the town. The others might be cheaper, but its worth every penny you spend here when it comes to the quality of service and respecting customers.

Have used this barber shop for several years. Good atmosphere and nice people. They are getting extremely busy nowadays so it is a good idea to book an appointment although they do take walkins but you may have to wait a while. Prices are very reasonable and the service is good. Randal runs a good operation!

The barber is awesome, and fast! Great price for what was done and the quality of the work. The man definitely knows how to use a straight razor, and he uses it with skill. I also enjoyed listening to Frank Sinatra in the background.

Messed my hair up more than once. Its a cool shop but after more than one poor experience I took my business else where. Feels like they put making a buck over customer service. I went here for two years.

Great experience, I have been multiple times and every time the work is great and the service is better. I use the doc himself and have got the best fade that I have ever gotten by him, to the person who stated about you left to use the restroom and he seated someone else, why didnt you use the restroom before you were going to be seated, looks like someone was lacking a little common sense. I would recommend making an appointment on there website as the ship fills up quick, if your looking for a 5 minutes haircut half assed done this isnt your place you pay for what you get, theres a reason it takes 20 to 30 minutes and you pay $20 for it, you want cheap you get cheap, you want quality you pay for quality!

Went in at noon so the longer wait was to be expected. I could tell this woman knew what she was doing. She didnt talk a lot but I just took that as her being focused on her job, and she was. One of the best haircuts Ive ever had.

Im sure their cuts are okay, I just dont understand why theyre exclusively male. Didnt like the guys tone when he told me that they didnt do women. The shop seems pretentious, anyway.In response to the stores comment: No, I do not expect all traditional barbershops to cater to all genders if they only specialize in a single gender. Something worth noting is that this is not made clear. But what I do expect is basic decency. I think that a field that doesnt require adequate interpersonal skills would be beneficial to you.

Been having Randle cut my hair for the last couple years. Ive never came out of the shop not satisfied with my experience. They have been extremely busy as of late, so I suggest making an appointment. You also dont have to worry about man talk. Even though women work there, I have never had a problem with the topics that I choose to discuss.I also use the shops shaving and beard products. The shaving cream is good and I keep it in supply at home. I also used the beard oil, and Im happy with that as well.

I don’t get my haircut too often, but when I do I always come here. Randle and his staff always makes me go from Neanderthal to a 10. When it’s really busy, sometimes the wait can be longer but it’s not a big deal because you’re usually treated to some pretty good music. Plus you can’t rush quality!

Disrespectful: I waited around an hour and a half to get seated, so naturally I needed to use the restroom. Theres no sign to the restroom, which as i found out was outside the shop and down a long dimly lit hallway, so I asked just before being seated if I may use it before starting. The barber pointed me in the direction of it, and less then two minutes later I return to see that he has seated someone else. I then find out from a friend that he was talking behind my back after I left. To me this incredibly disrespectful and by far some of the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. In the end I was unable to stay as I didnt expect to need 3 hours for a haircut. I would absolutely not recommend this place.

I just got my first haircut here a few minutes ago. It was one of the longest haircuts I have ever gotten. I am not impressed with the quality. There was obnoxious and annoying girl banter the entire time I was there. Usually when I get my haircut I walk away feeling refreshed; today I felt drained. I will not be returning.

Mixed feelings.. Great haircut, great atmosphere, but a not such a great blade. Associate of mine needed stitches after his shave, and my first visit left my neck cut (not nicked) multiple times with alot of stubble left. No hot towl on the neck prior to shave, and no hot lather. I would return. But not for a shave, the main reason i go to authentic barber shops in the first place :/

First barber I went to as an adult. He really set a standard. I live in Tulsa now and it took me awhile to find a good barber now, when I commute to Stillwater for school and need a haircut I always try to come in.

Quite telling that the downtown barber shop want to stop the craziness... blah blah blah.But it wasnt crazy when you were encouraging with the offer of a free haircut people to go get her.
