Charged $30 to fix a slow leak. Said they found it at the bead and also replaced valve with new to ensure no issues. 50 miles down the road and sensor went off. Low pressure. Will have to have tire checked again by more reputable company. This $30 for off vehicle repair, meaning I carried tire into them. My thoughts it is the valve stem extension, which I mentioned to them and asked if they wanted to keep that with the tire they dais “no”. My thoughts are they did not find anything and did a “repair” to ensure money came in. The reason for 2 stars instead of one, the staff was very friendly and courteous. I know this shouldn’t matter when theirs hands were in my pockets, but hey.Bottom line: there are other places in town to get your tire fixed. I would check with them first.

The staff at Yampa Valley Tire are wonderful!I went in for new tires on my small Rv and they said I just needed them rotated whereas they could have just sold me new tires! The service was very affordable and they even gave me a detailed bill showing pictures of systems and future needs for repair.I would highly recommend using Yampa Valley Tire and repair.

Great reviews but keep your expectations down. I needed two tires for my SUV. Got a quote and an appointment online, confirmed by email that an ‘expert’ would get back to me soon. Never did. Called and left a message. Never heard back. Called and spoke to a live person and they told me to bring the vehicle in so they could have a look. I did. The guy told me he would not sell me 2 tires unless he could get the exact same ones. That would be a week. I’m leaving town in 2 days.

I found myself with a flat tire as I rolled into town and found these guys. They were super nice and super quick. I highly recommend these guys if you have any issue.

Liz at the front desk was efficient, cordial and showed no reticence in grabbing the flat tire and rolling it to a bay. She provided a realistic time frame for determining the problem, called when known the next morning and offered options. Not only did she properly air the donut, but patched the puncture in the damaged tire. She aired it and got us back on the road with NO charge, as we were out-of-staters and on the road for our next destination. Who could ask for more?

I called ahead to ask the price of an oil change for a 2016 F250 diesel. They told me on the phone it would be about $120. I verified that the price would be $120 when I checked in for the oil change. Then, upon checkout, they said the price was now $169. They denied telling me the price was $120. Seems like a Bait and Switch. I can get my oil changed at the dealer for $175, and the dealer will make an appointment, whereas Yampa Valley Express Lube does not and requires you to sit in line. Probably won’t recommend them to anyone, and not sure I will go back unless it is an emergency.

We came in with a flat tire in the hope that it could be fixed, but it couldnt because the damage was too severe. The guys at Yampa Valley quickly checked their tire stock but they did not have the appropriate tire for our vehicle for same-day installation (they would have been able to get a tire in the next day).Despite this, they offered to make sure our spare was at an appropriate pressure and installed properly and helped us find another place in town that had what we needed.They were knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly wanted to do what they could to get us back on the road. I highly recommend going to Yampa Valley for any of your tire repair or replacement needs. We will definitely be doing so!

I had a problem with my tires. Needed new tires they priced 4 tires affordable for me. I also had an issue with a tire they fixed it for me it had 2 leaks in it. Im thankful for everyone who helped me I recommend them if you need help. I would do business with them again.

I had a smooth experience getting the oil changed. It was busy and the estimate was an hour wait and that was accurate. I had a cup of coffee and a pleasant read in the waiting room. The staff was very polite and friendly!

These gentlemen were amazing! We were leaving from Colorado to go over 20 hours back home to Indiana and discovered a screw in our tire. I have been doing business with these guys for years and I have always been happy. I had several boat trailer tires replaced and my wife’s snow tires swapped this time. We dropped off my wife’s car in the morning and it was done by 4:00 as promised. My trailer tires were taken care of as requested and we were very satisfied once again. I’m making this post because even though they were extremely busy while we were there everyone working was laid back and very focused on customer service. Made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. They had my truck for a day and a half. Never called me to tell me it was ready or to tell me they recommended additional services. If they had called me and told me I would have given them the green light on the additional services.

Out of Towners with flat tire. They were extremely busy only able to inspect our tire still attached to the car, To give credit they were helpful but in time one Rep said our tire was too dangerous to repair and by Colorado D.O.T we would have to buy 4 new tires since you cannot buy just one tire. With their help we found another Tire shop that repaired this tire in 15 minutes and we were on our way 1000miles home.

I went to Yampa Valley Tire to have them repair a flat. They couldnt fix it, because the puncture was on the side wall, but they helped me find a place in town where I could get some tires quickly, because I had to get home that day. They checked my tires and made sure the spare was on properly, despite the fact that they couldnt help me with fixing my tire or selling one to me in the proper size (didnt have one in stock and the fastest they could get one would be the next day...the same as just about anyone else in town).

Terrible service. Lots of employees hanging around in the garage, mostly talking. It took 1 1/2 hours for an oil change and cost 30% more than I ever pay. I asked them to check tire pressure when I arrived to see if one tire was low. When I checked out I asked if they had done that. The guy responded We filled all the tires to recommend levels. I dont know where the pressure was at the beginning. If you have a tire problem go to the tire store next door. There was nothing friendly or helpful about their service.The next day my radiator light went on. The radiator was empty. I doubt they even checked it.

I was told my car would be ready in an hour and a half. I gave them my email and phone number and they wrote my number down wrong and didn’t contact me when it was done. I waited over two hours. I asked for a tire rotation in addition to my oil change when I arrived and they said they didn’t get that done. I was waiting for my Jeep and they said my car was pulled in for the Tire rotation finally but then told me everyone was on lunch and I would have to wait an hour for it to get started. I said I couldn’t wait and needed to leave so they billed me for 93$!!!! For an oil change !!! Then they brought me with the keys to the wrong vehicle saying They had the wrong Jeep for the tire rotation and mine was parked in the parking lot. After getting my correct vehicle I left.

I have been using Yampa Valley Tire Pros & Express Lube for many years. I have never been disappointed.

Got an oil change and noticed the next day there was an oil leak, (vehicle has never leaked oil.) these guys didn’t even tighten the drain plug all the way. I had to crawl under it and noticed a constant drip... I just can’t believe they wouldn’t check to see if the DRAIN PLUG was tight all the way.

Fast, courteous, efficient and honest. What more could you want?

Scheduling was easy the staff is very friendly . We will go the extra half hour to Craig next time because its $10 cheaper per tire to change them out I couldnt believe how much I was charged to get my tires changed out

They couldnt rotate my tires without an appointment, which most companies can do while changing oil easy enough. Price seemed way too high as well. The quality of work was good but communication was nonexistent. I dropped off a tire to get a screw removed and plugged and was supposed to be done later that day. A whole day and then some had passes and hadn’t heard a thing. I went back and it was done. Was supposed to get a call but never did.

Multiple times, multiple occasions, multiple examples and multiple people have left me with the conclusion that this business is an absolute sham and crooks. Lying to customers, REFUSING to warranty tires that have MANUFACTURE defects that I was able to get warrantied at a different tire place in town ( whom of which I didn’t buy the tires from). Telling a young lady and I quote “ the reason why it is so expensive is because we recommend replacing your break rotors every time you need new break pads”. Even if this place had the best prices in town I would gladly pay more elsewhere that didn’t employee and reward a bunch of thieves. Hopefully it catches up with them

Excellent customer service. Brought my new truck in with just over 3,000 miles for its first oil change and discover the the oil filter was cross threaded on to the oil filter stand pipe (this was done at the factory not express lubes fault). They were about to close but stayed late and even set up a ride for me with alpine taxi that they paid for! And never charged me a cent for the work they did even though they had every right to. Customer for life!

Attempted to make an appointment for a tire swap. The first couple times I couldnt get through - it rang with no answer or landed in a full voicemail box. On the third attempt, someone answered and asked to put me on hold. She left me on hold for 24 minutes listening to messages about respecting my time and keeping it local. When she returned to ask what I needed with no acknowledgement of the wait, I said I called to schedule a tire swap. Without responding, she disconnected the call. After failing to answer, holding for 24 minutes and then disconnecting, they do not respect customers time nor want their business. Keep it local with someone other than YVTP.

I had a very good experience. New tire had a nail in it, very close to the sidewall. They werent sure if they could fix it. But they were able to and this saved me money. Quick service in a busy shop. Very professional all around.

Was traveling from South Carolina through Estes Park with my kids in our rental car, and got a notice that I had a tire with a loss of pressure. Turns out I had a slow leak from a small screw in the tread. Knowing I had a room in Steamboat Springs the next night, we called for an appointment at Yampa Valley Tire first thing the next morning.They saw me at 8am, worked fast and I was out by 8:20. Fantastic job and we made it home safely five days later after enjoying the rest of our vacation!Thank you!

Yampa Valley Tire Pros do an amazing job. I had my oil and filters changed as well as new tires mounted and balanced. What I did not expect was how thorough their own diagnostic process was...I was kind of blown away. They had pictures of everything done and emailed that history to me as well their professional opinion on the current condition of my vehicle. These guys really are pros. I spoke with everyone but Trevor was my main person and he was great to work with. Two thumbs up!

No one wears mask here!! They wear one in the lobby but then take them off to breath/cough all over your car. It’s like that’s not how wearing a mask works. If you have Covid, you just gave my car Covid and now I get Covid, cool thanks!! :/ It also took over an hour and half for an oil change? There was a car in front of mine but damn don’t tell someone it will be thirty minutes, just be up front. Wear your masks all the time!!

I have used Yampa Valley Tire Pros many times for many different reasons. They have always done a solid professional job, however during my last oil change I was very disappointed to see the receptionist not wearing a mask and not instructing other customers to put on a mask. I know that not everyone takes Covid seriously and to each their own, but the bottom line is that the more we ignore the regulations put in place the longer we will have these regulations. All local businesses are required to follow these guidelines and I’m surprised and disappointed to see YVTP is one not protected the health and safety of their staff and customers. I have always been satisfied with the job they do and hope to see them correct this issue.
