They have been very respectful even riding with them, tonight cody picked us up and was very friendly and funny. He took us where we needed and made sure we had a ride home. Towed my car from my own apartment complex. Had the correct stickers and everything. Tried to charge me $195 for incorrectly towing my vehicle. Apparently don’t have the mental capacity to look for the sticker that was in the correct place. Complete waste of my time.

Our car was one of many towed from a mostly empty lot late at night. The signage for the lot was not very clear, so we thought we were safe to park in one section of it, where other cars were parked. Apparently not. We were gone less than an hour, and were towed. We caught an Uber to the tow lot immediately, and went to the window at the tow lot. Had to wait quite a while for the guy to get up from his desk and get to the window, and were told that it would be $200 to get our car that had been there for maybe 30 minutes. Even though their sign says $150.

Disclaimer: I talked to a very sweet and understanding lady about what happened and she handled the situation very well. She mentioned that she would talk to the man tonight. (It is good to know there is at least one respectful person that works for this company.) I am leaving this review in hopes that this company and others know how their employees and treating people.This evening at Bear Village, I witnessed a VERY rude gentlemen (young, over 6 white male with cowboy boots and a hat) tow a car and did not explain anything that was going on to the family questioning why they were towed. When I stepped in to let the family know where theyre not supposed to park and questioned the mans actions, he ran over and yelled, I do not know why youre here, because this is not your car or any of your business. First of all, no one (no matter the issue) should ever be addressed in this manner. I was blatantly disrespectful. Second, communication is important, especially when someone is asking a question respectively. If you cannot do these simple tasks, you should not be directly working with people.

The girl that I spoke to on the phone was super nice and tried to help me best she could. My sons vehicle was towed when he ran into a restaurant to grab food as a GH driver. He was in the business for less than 10 minutes. It is like they prey on the square for someone not familiar with the area to mess up. $150 later he was able to get his car back. They are crooks. Did not even take his car off the tow truck, had it less than 20 minutes and still cost that much. There was no way to see the sign in the dark that you cant park there. Ridiculous and terrible for a company to do that.

Wanted them to unlock my door. Im a disabled veteran, and asked if they could come down on price just a little. They tried impounding my car for asking for help. Luckily a good Samaritan off duty cop was watching and made them drop my vehicle.

Dont hire RPM recovery and towing as a business representimg your apartment complex unless you want your tenants to hate you. RPM will charge almost $200 to tow and keep your car in the yard for a day. Opt for another business, like Henrys Towing

Parked in a tow away zone, Didnt see the 2 tall sign because of outhers parking in front of it, Stranded here for 4 hrs because office was only open from 7pm to midnight,Cost 195.00 to get my jeep back plus cab to get here from the benift at tie and timber on Cherry st, Springfield.

Their own drivers cant even give half decent directions, or even an address to their own employer? How is this place even still in business? Oh yeah, parasitic business practices by signing contracts with places thatll give them consistent business by towing vehicles with next to no signage or illumination for said signage.

This company towed my vehicle under Mpark LLCs direction. I had a parking permit to be where I was. RPM used a wheel lift truck and drug my car creating a flat spot on my tire effectively ruining the tire completely. RPM does not verify why they are towing the vehicle they just tow it (Came from an employees mouth named David)They illegally towed my vehicle from my lofts and caused damage. Both companies, RPM and MPark refuse responsibility blaming each other.They accepted they messed up in towing my vehicle and released it with no charge, but are refusing the fix the damage that they caused.

Saw one of their trucks driving down Chestnut tonight on my way home from work. They were driving very aggressively, windows down and obnoxious music blaring. Truck was going at least 20 mph over the speed limit and seemed bothered they had to stop behind other cars at a red light - I thought they were going to rear-end someone. RPM driver switched lanes several times abruptly trying to get around me and the car in the other lane (who was being completely appropriate and driving the speed limit). RPM driver then started tailgating me with his brights on right behind me for at least a mile trying to pass. His driving was very dangerous.Ive never had to do business with this company and based on this driver and other reviews here I absolutely never will. Find a company with an ounce of professionalism to do business with.

Worst company Ive ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They towed my car and broke the clutch. Had to pay nearly $800 to get it fixed. If you dislike this company as much as i do get a hold of me. I know a few people and were ready to demand the city to shut them down.

Tonight I was nearly hit head on by one of their tow rigs speeding down Walnut street. As I crest the top of the hill at Fort, heading eastbound on Walnut, one of their tow rigs was westbound in both lanes traveling at a very high rate of speed loaded down with vehicles. Barely missed making contact with him by inches, and had we hit, I would have most likely been killed. I also read below other people have had similar dangerous traffic encounters with them. Tomorrow I will be making a full complaint to the city, something needs to be done before someone does get killed due to their actions.

Had guy sitting across parking lot calling them to let them know when to come get a car. We parked in same lot weve used for 20 years, was there for 35 minutes and car was gone. They also charged 200 bucks to get it out. Theyre taking advantage of people and they are also very rude and unprofessional.

I’ve Used various tow companies in my line of work over the years, but I only trust one to transport my personal vehicles. That’s RPM! The drivers are extremely professional and skilled. They always take the time to make sure your vehicle is secure and makes it where it’s going in top notch condition. Fast dependable service- on time, every time. If you need a tow in southern Missouri, or anywhere for that matter- choose RPM RECOVERY!

Had my car towed because my car broke down and had to park it. Had a medical emergency and was in the hospital for 4 days. Charged 45 bucks per day and the heartless lady who obviously has no morals said, “sir there’s nothings we can do about it.” And hung up. Heartless “company” do not give them your business if you need your car towed. I had my military ID, birth certificate, etc in it and won’t let me get my belongings until I pay them 340 bucks! They don’t care. They’re worse than a timeshare company. Call someone else. Also had VA medication in there which at this point will somehow be missing.

Great experience. I was in a bind and needed a tow. They sent someone to me very quickly. The driver was polite, efficient, and professional. Thanks for all your help! Would recommend to anyone needing towing services.

Never used them. never had a need. that being said, i live by one of their drivers, as evidenced by the RPM towing truck he has as his take home vehicle. for the past few years, this has been the exact same situation. he brings vehicles home on his truck, takes them off the truck, and either he or his wife use them as a personal vehicle for an average of a week at a time. then he loads it up and it is gone.... and replaced with another vehicle, usually the same day. they only own 1 suv, so i guess this is how they get around having 1 car for two people? lets also not forget that whenever he brings home a car with a v8, or any type of sports car, he typically peels out when he leaves the house and does the same at the stop sign at the end of the road. reminds me of the garage attendants in Ferris Buellers Day Off. pretty sure that the owners of said vehicles did not authorize this kind of activity. granted, by seeing the fact that this business doesnt respond to 99% of the negative reviews they have, im SURE they will have a valid and legitimate reason as to why one of their drivers has been doing this consistently for a few years now.based on the actions of this driver, if a need ever arises, i wont contact them. i would suggest the same for everyone else.

Tow Mater is a better towing service

Zero stars not an option or you would have gotten none. I was parked at my daughters apt bldg in resident parking less than a hour, when your thugs hooked up to my leased vehicle. I arrived at my car while it was still on the ground and promptly offered to move it. Your thugs refused. I am a senior citizen who was trying to understand what was happening. Your driver pulled away while I was standing in harms way. Shame on you!

You guys killed me. Quite literally. My car was towed despite there being a sticker. Apparently I was parked in someone else’s spot, but no one told me this, so I was not aware. You guys took my heart medication and wheelchair. I went into cardiac arrest, so, thanks for that.

Bryan came out today to tow my truck. Not only were they way ahead of the estimated ETA, he was also very professional and courteous the entire time.I hope that I will not need another tow anytime in the near future, but if I do I will be contacting them and asking for Bryan again.Thank you so much!!!

If I could give them a negative number I would. This company, using their contract with The Loft Apartments, has someone watch for kids attending Prom to park in a parking garage for tenants and guests. Once the students have left they check to see if they have the guest paper and if not call in their crew to tow them. Giving the students the wrong address to pick up their vehicle and a $200 fee to get it out - charging additional $45 for storage - literally taking off truck and turning over to student. I have no problem with a company doing their job, but preying against high school students is reprehensible. You have someone there, tell the students they cannot park there or they will be towed. But no, they want to make a couple thousand from teenagers who dont have that kind of money. One driver even got out of his truck threatening to fight a student when the driver was yelling at girls in their dresses to get out of his way or he was calling police - which were actually in the way there to stop the drivers. A grown man threatening to fight a teenager - seriously?DO NOT WILLINGLY GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. THEY ARE VULTURES!!!

My husband and I were at the theatre downtown. We came out to find our vehicle no where in site. We were in the same situation as five other couples. After searching, we realized that all of our vehicles had been towed! There was a gate, but it was not working, there was a sign, but it was very small and the print was very little, and the car garage itself had a sign that said, Even cars need rest”. The parking garage was less than 5 percent full. The sign said that the charge was $150.00. When we got to the lot, the guy told us $196.00! We were shocked that our car had been there less than two hours, and we were charged the entire day storage fee! That itself is so wrong! Then as we were at the lot, three more cars were being towed in. This place is about preying on hard working citizens, and stealing their money so some man can get rich off the backs of citizens! I never felt so sorry for elderly people looking for their cars that had been towed.

This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star. It deserves to be shut down. This is actually a terrible place. Towing kid’s cars while they are at prom.. when the signs are too small to read and they just don’t care about anyone or anything but getting money from kids who don’t have that kind of money. It’s absolutely ridiculous that someone would just sit and wait till the kids are gone in prom having a good time and then call the tow place to come ruin a bunch of seniors and juniors prom night. Like really? All of them were actually being ridiculous about the whole thing. One guy had to wait two hours at the lot because they took his and my car to the wrong place and we still had to pay 195$!!! If I was anyone in Springfield or in the area, I would not park in the loft parking garage at all.. do not even give them your service by staying there. The lady was ridiculous, most of the people towing were ridiculous, and a tow guy even threatened to fight one of the guys because he was trying to move his car.. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE OR THE LOFT YOUR SERVICE AT ALL!!

I understand that this company has a hard job, but with this one experience I have had, I must say this company needs to be shut down. My friend came to my apartment and I didn’t not get him a parking pass (This is my fault). So the vehicle was towed and we went to go get it back during normal business hours. They were closed almost two hours early. I called the business number and the lady on the phone was nothing short of rude and very disrespectful. She told me that even though the business hours were not normal, that we would still be charged for that day of storage. She then lied and told me that she had contacted my friend and told him that they had towed the car. This was a complete lie. When we asked for her name, she hung up the phone. By Missouri law, they cannot charge us for a day that the business hours were not normal, but this lady did not seem to know or care. If the owner of this business is reading this, I hope you will really listen to what I’m saying and hire a staff that actually has respect and can handle a simple phone call. I understand you have a hard job, but this is ridiculous. I’m leaving living in Bear Villiage just because they are associated with this company.

Towing High School Teenagers Cars while enjoying their night at prom... totally ruining everybodys night, a very important memory RUINED! On top of not having a car for prom night and having no way to get home in Down Town Springfield (not the safest place to be stranded at night) Everybody had to pay over $200 to get cars back. High School students... $200... we have no money to pay for that. Made a very iconic night horrible. RPM is an Awful company ran by some dirt bags that care too much about money and not about kids. Really hope you guys are proud of yourself. Oh and, forgot to mention, your drivers threatened to fight high school students and were Cat Calling the young girls in their dresses. Horrible People!

Got into an accident on December 29, 2019. Went the next day to retrieve my apartment keys, eyeglasses (which got knocked off my face when I hit the airbag), and a few other personal items. Was told that in order to get a couple things out of my car, I would have to pay over $300. Getting the apartment keys and the car’s VIN was like pulling teeth. They all act like the simplest task is such an inconvenience.

Extremely unprofessional. They towed our 4x4 lifted truck not on a flatbed. When I asked them about it, the woman working the office said that they can do it. And then proceeded to try and insult me by say have you ever owned a towing company? Extremely unprofessional. Will never use or recommend them to anyone. We were stranded far from home, out of state, on Thanksgiving weekend, and RPM was fast, efficient, kind, cheerful, and so helpful! Our insurance company didnt seem to understand that both the local body shop and the local car rental company they chose were closed on Thanksgiving Saturday, but RPM took care of us and our vehicle until we could get things solved! THANK YOU, RPM!

So everyone has a clear understanding the actual charge is $195. The signs that say 150 is a total lie and it should only say 195. This misrepresentation probably has something to do with them only being allowed a maximum charge, but they want more so they add the lot fee regardless of time picked up. Once your vehicle is on their lot, logic, reasoning and humanity are left at the street and you are only at their mercy. This is a great economic benefit totally in favor of RPM, and they will no doubt enjoy a very prosperous life by taking advantage of those people that they are able to. A normal tow rate ranges from 45-65 dollars.

This place sucks will never use it again

My vehicle was towed and taken to RPM and right before Christmas and New Years Eve of course for having outdated tags, that I was going to take care of that day. So i asked if they6 could work with me with lowering some of the fees so I could make it to Joplin so I could see my family for the holidays, and before I could finish asking the guy on the phone for help he said no and hung up on me. So here it is January 3rd and missed Christmas, and New Years with my family. I just want to say their customer service is terrible.

RPM Recovery towing came to our rescue in the middle of a snowy night our trailer broke an axle. Thank you Laura for responding and reassuring us and to Preston who handled the challenging tow to the repair shop! Well done.

Great service, i have used them countless times for small things like towing from my house to a shop or from helping me get my truck out of a bad situation. There always professional, and very reasonable on price. Ask for Laura, she is awesome.

These dudes are shady as all get out. The owner uses the lot for his toys, and his shop is full of race cars and toys. Meanwhile he is contracting with local lots in downtown springfield to smash and grab every car he can. They towed 40 cars in one night when wilhoit plaza changed their parking lot rules suddenly without notifying anyone. The trucks are in total disrepair and they will damage your vehicle snatching it. If you have a choice in a tow company, do not use these guys. Unfortunately it wont matter as they have a reputation for doing what ever it takes to snatch a car. It doesnt matter if it is a repossession or a parking violation. If they can, they will snatch it, and charge you 200 dollars for the tow.

Had a friend park for maybe 10 minutes at my apartment only to find his car had been towed with more than enough spots still available for the residents who live there. Not once was there a need for the car to be towed, let alone for $175 after 10 MINUTES (which I imagine is the only reason they can stay in business)

Lost my HHR twice because it wasnt in their computer would never recommend them as a towing service. Sure didnt need the added stress when the insurance company was going to pick up my car and there like weve not had a HHR on the lot since April of 2016. Funny I could walk you right where it was and it was within view of the office window. Never will use them again.

Terrible company! They towed our truck along with several others while we were in a concert. They little gremlin behind the window on the lot was very unprofessional and the company is crooked as can be. Preying on hardworking people to try and make a buck.

I needed my car towed to a shop and these people were very prompt and the cheapest I could find in town. They did a really good job and I definitely recommend them.

Never used service. Drivers parked in a no parking area to grab lunch downtown.They seem to think the rules do not apply to them just because they drive a wrecker. It was a normal size wrecker truck not oversized and there is a parking garage on the same block.Side of the truck says professional, this seems to be unprofessional behavior.

Towed my car with parking permit sticker on windshield. I now have damage to my car from them hitting something, but I found a curb in my lot with my paint on it. Only thing they did good was not charge me to get my car back. Absolutely rude woman at front desk. Since it was towed illegally by neglect they will deal with my lawyer for damage and lost wages.

Very rude, unprofessional and lazy drivers... I called the office to make a complaint about a driver and was basically blew off hung up on very rude company I would recommend spending a few extra dollars and going somewhere else!!!

Broke down outside Jefferson City with 2 AWD cars. Called all around Springfield they were by far the best priced. Driver was friendly and professional. Got both cars home no damages or complants. They have replaced my mindset on Let Henrys Do It RPM Towing will be our first call from now on.

Terrible terrible terrible, leaving prom all of our vehicles were towed & the employees were extremely rude and immature towards a group of high schoolers, one driver attempted to get out of his truck to try and fight one of my friends less than half his size for expressing his opinion on the situation, once they towed our vehicles and we went to the place to pick them up, we had to wait an additional 30 minutes because they “weren’t sure” where our cars were, and ended up taking it to the wrong place. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

Bunch of scam artist. I lived at my apartments for years and these dumb asses have towed 2 of my vehicles claiming because I dont have a parking pass but FYI my apartments font have parking passes. Never have. They have some punk in an illegal non tagged red car drive around and for who knows why picks random cars out of our parking lot to be towed for no parking pass. Then when I confronted them after my neighbor pointed this guy out saying he had the vehicle towed he jumped out his vehicle put his hands on me then pulled a gun on me. But guess where he is on his way to now. Yep gr3ene county jail. Thank god for my awesome neighbor who had it all on video. TThese people are scam artist stealing our hard earned money. And spends the same amount for his medicine each month. This company preys on people who make honest mistakes and thought their van was stolen and it took a good several minutes to figure out where the signs were that said it was Towing. For years they refused to fix the signs that should be in the line of eyesight going against city ordinances. Worst day ever our move cost us over 200.00 call Henrys if u need a tow atleast they are processional1and then ask you money to get it back. This extortion. We are in such Dire Straits because we were told based on the restaurant owners workers and clientele and officee that it was suggested to get a lawyer to get our van back until Monday and had to pray to Saint Michael the Archangel and ask the Essex Mother s interest in and bind uo the evils spirits in order to get someone to answer the phone because my son and I would have been without our medicine for 3 days. This company left three children and parents stranded being 3 hours away with out ride back to branson.My medicine was actually in the van and ended up vomiting most of the night because I didnt have my medicine for diabetes. Go to the hospital is the answer which wld of wracked up hundreds ed ds of more dollars. I really Sadly folks due not li e according to ones owned judgment day. Ever penny we have stolen from another or action we have omitted to do. Not did to help others and punish people for being honest taking their money is abominable. I myself, think they are wonderful.People park in my spot all the time and they take the trash out for me on top of that the drivers are very nice and kind and always there to help..

This place is a scam. Their hours are not clearly posted anywhere. I went out there on a Saturday at 1pm and they were closed. The sign on their building states they’re closed saturdays and sundays, yetthey charge for ever 24 hours your car is on their lot. I arrived on Monday to pick up my car and the woman sweared they were open Saturday and Sunday and that hours are clearly posted online which is false. A total scam and misdirection.

These people towed our vehicle tonight had no clue what happened to my vehicle. Thank god for a great couple who showed up n explained what exactly happened. I was stranded several miles in the heat with two kids. The signs where not visble enough. Never heard of this but since my car was parked by building n not 2 ft away in same area they charged me 175.00 this is hwy robbery down right ridiculous... Worst day ever our move cost us over 200.00 call Henrys if u need a tow atleast they are processional

My wife, I and our three young children went to Branson for the weekend. Friday night, we decided to visit our oldest in Springfield. He invited us to listen to a friend’s band play at a bar down town. We parked in a lot across the street from the bar. We didn’t notice anything unusual about the lot.When we left the bar after the band finished, about 1 am, we went to the parking lot and could not find our van. At first we thought the van was stolen. Then we thought maybe it was towed. Sure enough we found two signed posted. The bottom sign stated tenant parking from Mpark LLC and another from RPM Recovery stating that unauthorized vehicles will be towed. The RPM Recovery sign had a phone number and an address. We called the phone number and no one answered. We went back to the bar and the waitress stated that towing from that lot happens all the time. We drove to the address on the sign and it was wrong. We asked the Springfield police to meet us at our son’s house to file a report and told them that my wife has medication in the van that she desperately needed. When the police arrived, they knew the address was wrong and said there was nothing that could be done. We went from stressed to desperate.We searched the internet and found the RPM Recovery website with a different address. We went to that address and found the van. The business hours were open M-F. We became even more upset because we had to be at work and the children in school on Monday. My wife called again and an employee said that he would be at the shop Saturday 11 t0 2 for other towed vehicles as well and it would cost $195.It was a horrible experience. It is hard to believe that Mpark LLC and RPM Recovery have not coordinated a scam to fleece unknowing people. The Springfield police will do nothing about it. I would not trust RPM Recovery with a plug nickel.

I would literally give zero stars if I could. This company was so disrespectful and the rude lady at the front desk was lying about every part of the situation. She said the car had been taking 2 hours ago when it had actually been 15 minutes. They charged $195 when the sign said $150. They are greedy and deceitful and deserve to go out of business. The worst customer service I’ve ever seen.

Never used this company. However came across them in Houston mo. Waiting to pullout from intersection and the RPM driver behind us did not think we were going fast enough and expressed this by laying on his horn. After we pulled out he came flying by us playing on his phone. Very unprofessional and rude.

Towed my car from a gas station that I was currently inside buying coffee from. I brought in receipt from gas station to prove that I was there and they refused to waive the fees even though I was wrongfully towed. Better Business Bureau complaint filed against both RPM and gas station. Will never go to that gas station again either!

Agreed these people are definetly running a scam downtown. Dont use them for anything went downtown to see a movie with the boy and like most other reviews on them it seems they charged me 170 bucks to get my truck said i had to pay for storage they are not a reputable company for sure. I for pne am reporting them to the BBB and maybe the local news stations this seems close to another viperbite towing case and I believe the owners of rpm are doing the same thing that ripping people off time is done . I got my truck back drove downtown just to see and yep in a matter of a few hrs i see them go from parking lot to parking lot seeing if you have a permit npt only are these guys running a scam they are so into it they are patrolling parking lots looking for any reason to steal money from people you may have got 170.00 dollars from me but will not rest until RPM is proven what it is a scam house.
