I broke down on I44 at midnight 40 miles east of Springfield. I called Henry’s and they were super friendly and sent someone right out. He got the car loaded and took me to a hotel. Super friendly, quick, and clean service.

Seth the BATTERY GUY came to my rescue. He just did the battery and it wasnt completely dead so we can do an even exchange. I was in a car accident on July 1st & Henry’s Towing Driver #64 - Chris was actually the one who was there first & helped me from the vehicle. I was pretty shaken up from the air bags & the head-on collision. Chris stayed with me as the police took the report. Then Chris moved both vehicles quickly, professionally, and safely off the highway. I was on vacation, not from the area, and didn’t know anyone. Dennis Seay (Driver #107) moved a vintage box truck cargo body (22 x 8 x 7.5) for us from Springfield to the boonies in Douglas County. The spot we wanted it in was next to the woods and on a bit of a slope. He landed the trailer body perfectly and somehow managed to get the truck out of spot it ended up in with maybe a foot left front and back. It was amazing to watch. Dennis was very professional and very talented! Kudos to Henrys for employees like Dennis.

He loaded it on his roll back and was very careful not to scratch or damage it in any way. He even went the extra mile and used straps instead of chains. He was friendly and very professional. CW #97 is the poor guy who got to pick up my parents broken down RV to move it to my sisters place in Springfield. It hadnt been moved in 8 years, so it was a much bigger job and pain in the butt than I thought it would be. He did an awesome job, he kept trying different things and communicating what he was going to try next, and then he was able to move it on its way! Im so happy to have my driveway back! We waited for 3 hours on a different tow service, they kept pushing our ETA out. Its now 11pm at a seedy gas station. I called Henrys just to see if they had anyone available. They were there in 10 minutes and helped me find the best place to get a new tire. Stephen was incredibly kind and got me headed home in just a few minutes.

Called to have a car towed at 3:58 PM. They told me they could pick it up in about an hour and have it delivered to the repair shop by 530-6pm. Received a voicemail at 7:52 PM telling me the car was locked in the park so they wouldnt be able to get to it until 11 am the next day. The car was parked in a public walking trail/parking lot. There is not a gate or chain to lock it in as they claimed it was. Please see attached picture. Returned that phone call only to be greeted by an extremely rude dispatcher, who was most unhelpful and didnt seem too willing to do her job. They called me again at 10:34 am to let me know they would again not be able to get to it. This time it was going to be 3 PM or so before they could get to it. I canceled the tow with Henrys. At 10:39 AM I called RPM Towing. The incredibly nice, helpful gentlemen on the phone said they would get to it within the hour. The car was picked up and delivered to the shop at 11:37 am . The driver even called me to let me know he had driven it on the truck had it hooked up and was seconds from being in route. The were $20 cheaper and so much friendlier. RPM seems to actually WANT your business. Save yourself the extra fees and hassle by not calling Henrys in the first place. If you get in a accident and need a tow please request RPM or another company other than Henrys. You will be much happier and from the reviews I have read youll have more money in your pocket, wont have any hassle getting your vehicle etc.

The driver we had the pleasure of meeting was Dennis S. driver #107We had to move a storage container from some farm land to our property and then we wanted the container put in a covered carport structure. He never complained about what seemed to be an impossible task to me but he took the time to maneuver the container and truck so that he could slide it into the space we wanted. Have never had such a poor experience at a cracker barrel.Waited over 40 min to get breakfast food at 10:45 on a Sat. When it arrived, the eggs were cold and we were missing half of what we ordered. Waitress was non-existent and manager got us fresh eggs but otherwise offered nothing but excuses for our experience (and only OUR experience) was so poor. Everyone around us the staff knew by name.Only nice part of the visit was the super kind and helpful lady behind the cash register.

We used Henrys Towing at Askinosie Chocolate today and they were great - especially our driver Dennis S. He helped us unload a new piece of equipment from a semi trailer by pulling it onto his flat-bed. But - he went above and beyond by suggesting ways we could maneuver the unusually long pallet into our factory. Great service!

So yesterday evening, I was going to take my Peterbilt 379 around the block, as its been sitting in the driveway since January (I finally got on at Old Dominion and have my truck for sale). Well, I was trying to get one set of brake shoes to release, and while not paying attention in front of me, I dropped the driver steer off in my culvert. Scott Cross to the rescue! He was prompt to arrive, had a plan to get me back in the driveway, and did so with zero issue. He was friendly, and obviously knew what he was doing....and I paid a fair and reasonable price at the end of the experience. My car wouldnt start so I called Henrys to jump it. The guy arrived in about 20 minutes and jumped the battery. I asked him if the battery was OK and he said it was fine. He told me to leave the car running for awhile after he left to charge it up, which I did.Fast forward 8 hours. Went back out to start my car and it wouldnt start again. Called Henrys again and they came out and jumped the battery again. This time, they told me that I definitely needed a new battery, and that I needed to go as soon as he left to get one. I want to give a BIG shoutout to John Cheek, the man who came and jumped the battery the second time for being honest and telling me I needed a new one. #107 Dennis SeayMy jeep has been sitting in the parking lot of my apartment for well over a month because of just one tiny lugnut that cannot seem to be removed. I had the new tire and everything ready to go, but it just wouldnt budge (otherwise I wouldve changed it myself). But no tire iron or impact wrench can seem to remove it!Dennis tried his best save me from having to have it towed by trying t change my tire for me. I needed my vehicle towed from my brothers old apartment to my house, and driver Tony Gray came and towed it for me. He was very polite and very quick and efficient about it all. It definitely wasnt an easy tow as it was parked against a fence in a tiny parking lot, but he got the job done! If we ever need a tow again, Tony will be the one we call.

I had a friend from out of town with a 3/4 ton diesel issue that needed to be towed to a shop. The city was buried in snow but the driver, CW, showed up quickly, was very polite and extremely competent and helpful with getting the truck towed. The tow was only $75! Ive used Henrys Towings services twice and both times every step of the process was very professional and speedy. Their response time was very quick and they were able to move my car out of my tight parking spot into the shop, then from the shop into an awkward driveway without any trouble. They are even with AAA, so with my friends advice I asked for Henrys specifically and Im so happy I did. If I am ever in a situation with my car not wanting to start again, I plan to use Henrys.

A good amount later than their ETA, seventy dollars to tow my car 2.4 miles, seems a bit outrageous. The only reason they get two stars is because they were careful with my car.

I had been told by Roadside Assistance, which never showed up, so after an hour & half, I made a 2nd call, that I probably needed a tow, because the problem sounded like the alternator & not the battery. I called Henry’s & Dennis said they would have someone to me within the hour. Zac arrived within 40 mins. Before he loaded my car on his truck. He checked the battery & a boost allowed my car to start. I’m so thankful for the courteous & professional service. I will never call Roadside Assistance again. I will call Henry’s !!

Mike, driver #75, certainly was an excellent employee and very professional. I had come out of Furniture Row just before they were to close at 8 pm. Went to get in my car and it wouldnt unlock. I tired the key fob several times but nothing would happen. I used the key pad and got the door to unlock but when I tried to start my car it said no key detected. I tried several times but no lock, looked in the car manual but didnt find any help. The store closed and one by one employees left. I called Henrys explained my problem to the lady who was very helpful as I watched the last two leave and I sat alone thankfully under a nice bright light. Within about 15 minutes Mikeshowed up in his Lil Red Express tow truck, explained the problem and he began to see what he could do. He tried several things, took the fob apart, found the battery, rubbed it hoping to get it to start, but nothing. He then said he knew a guy who knew something about everything. He called him, would come back to the car check it out, go back and talk some more. The man told him every keyless start has a place to put the fob if this happens. He was on the hunt to find it and he did. He got it started and I was on my way home. I thank God he provided a nice man to help me out as it isnt the most comfortable feeling being there by yourself. Thank you Mike.

My spouse and I have been having issues with our car and thought it was the battery. After we replaced it my spouse was driving home from Republic when the car just stopped accelerating. I called Henrys because I have used them one other time after a flat tire and waited over an hour for another tow company to never come. After my frustrations I called Henrys Towing and they came right away so I decided to call them first. They were kind and friendly on the phone and said they would dispatch right away. They came just as fast as it took me to get to my spouse from my home. Mike (driver #75) was professional, efficient, kind, and when he handed me the receipt and talked about the insurance information and such for the tow I told him that I would follow him to the dealership to fill out the night drop he said, oh no worries, I will take care of all of that for you....WAIT.....WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I had ended up in a ditch on the side of a busy stretch of narrow highway, stuck so tightly that I thought my front bumper might be ripped off in the attempt to tow me out. Not only did Randy expertly tow me out of the ditch and back onto the road without further damage to my car (despite the steep embankment Id rammed into), but he made sure that my car was fit to drive and everyone was okay. He was very clear but kind, something that really helped soothe my nerves as a young woman whod never been in this situation.Excellent service, excellent attitude. Hopefully I wont need this service again, but if I do, I know who to call.

Horrible business to deal with. We used to recommend them a lot for our calls in Missouri but after dealing with them directly and as a fellow towing service we will no longer be doing so. Our customer was treated poorly as well as they made it as difficult as possible for us to assist our customer in getting her vehicle home. No professional courtesy at all. We do not like seeing towing services like this giving the rest of us a bad name and I dislike leaving bad reviews, but ample opportunity was given for Henrys to do right and they chose not to.

Called AAA because my car wouldn’t start and Mike Coffman came. He called to verify our exact location and information beforehand which was much appreciated then he offered to give us a ride home and took my car straight to the shop. Very grateful.
