I just love going to this accounting firm for my taxes! David and Matt are truly great accountants! They are always welcoming and have a good sense of humor. Davids been doing my taxes for 4 years now and I have been very impressed by him. Hes also very sweet and professional.

I personally engaged with Matt France at Matrix accounting and my experience was nothing short of fraud. Mr. France a CPA at Matrix paid for a watch that I owned by credit card in late 2015 and asked that it be shipped to him at Matrix Accounting. He then placed a chargeback on the watch and told me he was returning the watch and returned an empty box. I called several times to the firm and was told he was unavailable for months. When I shared my concern with support staff...he would write me an email with the details of my conversation noting all conversations by phone to Matrix were recorded which I found odd, but not bothersome. I filed a fraud report and discussed the matter with the local police department in St Louis and was told this was a he said he said scenario...which is unfortunate but, was also told this was not the first time this concern had been brought up involving Mr. France. This was of course over 2 years ago and I have utilized other agencies to document my experience with Mr. France. His shipping address continues to be Matrix Accounting and I would encourage anyone to be cautious when dealing with this individual...as I have all the profanity laced emails, exchanges and unethical tactics he used to keep a $1200 watch and fraudulently steal it from me and pretend to return it in an empty box. Be careful...I am not a vindictive person...just trying to protect others from making an unfortunate business decision.FOLLOW UP...I called the firm today and inquired regarding ownership to respond to the response here and did not leave my name and 5 minutes later the owner Mr. France returns my call and knows exactly who I am and asks for me by name. How interesting. His RESPONSE said he had no clue who I was. WHAT A JOKE. He then tells me he has 18 businesses and does not have time to deal with this while using profanity and hangs up with me. I then collaborate with a former law enforcement colleague helping me with this case and he tells me How did Mr. France know to call you back and know your situation when his follow up said he does not know who you are? So I call Mr. France back today in August and ask him just that...and he just wants to threaten me with his attorney. Well...No one has time to write a review like this. Certainly not me...but, I make the time when someone as unethical as Mr. France steals a watch and then sends back an empty box with tracking to chargeback a purchase and keep a $1200 watch, then lies and then lies again. My reason to write this review...is to just encourage all that deal with Mr. France to be careful. My experience was costly and unfortunate filled with threats and profanity. You will see his long winded silly follow up response here and anyone with common sense can read between the lines. I have only been stolen from twice in 130,000 sales on my site and Mr. France is one of them. I sell millions of dollars a year online and do not need the money...but want to warn others as no one wants to be stolen from for any amount. As you can see by his response...it is not a normal response for anyone in this situation. Most would be concerned, genuine and try and resolve. Each phone call I had with him today was a 30 second shouting match littered with profanity where I did not get one word in...and he did not want to listen as he knows what he did. Again use your better judgement as you will see I rarely do a review...Be careful. You can look at my rating on Ebay with over 130,000 sales and 100% rating and realize quickly what happened here. Mr. France will sacrifice his ethics and do the unthinkable for $1200 and return an empty box and his account is documented and law enforcement is aware of this happening more than once. Do I want a thing or penny from Mr. France...nope. I would like my watch back he stole...but, besides that...not a thing but, if you are thinking of using this company for any reason and sharing personal information...be aware this is a risk. Maybe someday Mr. France will grow a conscience and return the watch.
