I had an esthetician who really knew what she was doing and talked me through my options very carefully so that I made the right decision for my particular requests and skin type. They were lovely people and a nice place, the reason it’s a low star review is bc the results were far from what was promised. I have tattoos on my hands. The lady said they weren’t deep and told me one treatment would get rid of it or nearly clear them up. Well one treatment literally did nothing. If it did anything, it was unnoticeable. I called like a month after and they told me to take pictures bc it’s like watching grass grow, so I did for 6 weeks and literally nothing changed. I called them and they said to do more treatments. I feel like I wasted my money to be honest.

Will show final photos in time (quite a few treatments left).I think the fact that I drive from KC (recently moved) to see Melissa speaks volumes to the client-care I’ve received since I started. I wouldn’t dream of finishing the treatments with anyone else.Thanks for all you do!Pros:*Melissa asked me my pronouns when I started.*Melissa creates a space where I can ask questions about the treatments without fear of judgment. - The answers are in plain language.Cons:*Sometimes doesn’t feel like I belong at the clinic in general.

Arrived for a consultation and cheek fill 15 minutes early. The receptionist didn’t greet me but instead asked what I needed. Given I wasn’t dressed in my normal dressy attire because I coach in the summer and literally left my job to arrive at my appointment. I start filling out papers and the injection nurse came out hugged the other customer and walks up to me to say, “are you injecting today or not because I don’t have time for both?” I’m a new customer and most places consult, observe your face, then inject. They were extremely rude to me. I have been getting filler and neurotoxins for two years now. I wanted to find a place closer to home and they were very unprofessional.Who injects their face at a new location without consulting the client and finding out their needs?

Melissa was amazing!! I had permanent eyebrows tattooed on and I was incredibly nervous about it beforehand. But the amount of time she put into making sure they were exactly how I wanted made all the nerves disappear. The actual experience was easy. Not necessarily pain free but definitely less painful than expected. I highly recommend her and this facility.

Marcy has been absolutely wonderful helping me even out hyperpigmentation and hair removal on my Indian/Asian skin! Not a huge population of Indian Americans in the Springfield, MO area, and so I did my own laser research first before going to DermaHealth. Marcy however is very well-educated on the use of the PICO Genesis laser that I was most interested in trying out and has done a wonderful job addressing the concerns I had regarding facial hyperpigmentation and hair removal (not PICO related but also available at DermaHealth)! She has always been very realistic from my first consultation about expected results and length of treatments potentially required to achieve those results. All of the staff Ive met so far have been very professional. Im immensely pleased with the visible progress my skin has made and I highly recommend this location!

I scheduled a consultation for ways to spruce up my skin, as Im about to turn 60 and my children have graciously offered to pay for some procedures. The consultation was amazing with Jessica. She explained things thoroughly and made recommendations. I also met briefly with a nurse who made recommendations on dysport injections, who was also professional and thorough. I asked about injections around my upper lip, to smooth out wrinkles, and about my upper lip itself for some fullness. She warned that it would make the area numb,, thus affecting my smile. I immediately said NO to that. On appointment day I had a microderabrasion w/Jessica, which was good, but I did not see any benefit from it. I then saw Nurse Melissa for dysport injections. She seemed very knowledgeable & experienced. I received numerous injections all at eye level & above. I purchased, upon recommendation, their skin care line - cleanser, toner, treatment & cream at a cost of over $200. after tax. - At first the only discomfort I had was irritation from the skin care products. I continued using them as directed because I was hopeful to see improvement. 1-2 weeks following my appointment I began noticing my eyelid drooping. It got worse as time went affecting my vision and appearance. I am 4 weeks in now, and no improvement on by droopy eyelids. I spoke with Nurse Melissa, and she said it is common & will eventually go away. I told her that had she have warned me of this side affect I would NOT have agreed to the procedure. I told her of the reaction I am having to the skin care products and she recommended I leave out the treatment cream, which I have done, but not making a difference. I asked her of a refund for products and she said they dont normally do that. THIS IS MY SUGGESTION: BE VERY, VERY CAREFUL WITH YOUR PROCEDURE CHOICES. THE CONSULT IS DONE SO WELL, AND THE FACILITY IS VERY INVITING. I FELT CONFIDENT AND EXCITED, EVEN CANCELLING MY 2ND CONSULT APPT WITH A BOARD CERTIFIED DERMOTOLOTIST. I WILL NOT RETURN TO DERMA HEALTH. I AM HOPEFUL THAT MY EYELIDS RETURN TO NORMAL, BUT NOT OVERLY OPTIMISTIC. AS FAR AS THE PRICEY SKIN CARE PRODUCTS, THEY ARE GOING IN THE TRASH.

I have tried 4 different treatments on 6 different areas on my body and have had a positive experience every single time. I even had a reaction one time to the sun (or sunscreen) after a procedure, and Cheryl had me come in and fixed me all up. Very calm and assuring. All of the ladies that work there are wonderful. I hate to say that I dont request any certain one to help me, but thats because I just love them all!! You cant go wrong no matter which procedure youre doing or which girl you get.

I had a good laser vein session with Tammy she was awesome and cared about how much pain you were in during the laser treatments and very nice.

I made an appointment to help correct a spot that was left on my face from a (CO2 laser) procedure. This was done at another well known Dermatology office here in Springfield. I was left with a very unusual white patch the size of a half dollar on my lower cheek. The ladies at Derma Health understood my concerns and were attentive to trying to make the area look better. After photos and test treatments we decided the IPL tx. was the best answer for me. I was very pleased with their service and commitment to make me feel better about my white patch that was left on my face. Its not about selling a procedure at this office but what is best for you and your situation. I even called 4 days after the IPL treatment and ask if they could relook the area. They worked me right in for another spot treatment. at NO charge. It was refreshing to find a clinic that takes care of you. Thanks Marcy! If I need any further cosmetic procedures I will be calling them!
