I am adjusting my previous 5-star review to reflect my recent experiences with Boomer Town Studios. When I first became a resident, I was very pleased with the accommodations. However, in more recent months things have become progressively worse. Among my concerns...1. For several months now, the gates have not functioned properly. This should be a priority item for repair to help keep the complex safe and secure.2. As others have addressed in the reviews, the parking situation is particularly problematic. It wasnt as much of an issue when I first moved in, but when Entrust opened their office in the building, they reserved 5 spots that were formerly available to the tenants. This is in addition to the other spots reserved for the coffee shop and salon. Consequently, Ive had to circle the block for 15 to 30 minutes on several occasions waiting for a place to park. Bear in mind, there is a monthly parking fee, but that does not guarantee you a spot. If you want a reserved spot, youll have to pay double. When I did inquire about reserved parking, the management had to check if there were any reserved spaces left; and I never heard back. Perhaps a viable solution to the parking issue would be to require all tenants to have reserved parking -- none of this two-tiered approach.3. Lastly, as others have discussed, I am experiencing issues with my heating/AC unit. Ive heard others have had similar issues with these wall units. I submitted a maintenance request, but it hasnt been fulfilled. While I dont expect immediate service, I do think they should touch base and acknowledge that the maintenance request has been received and that theyre working towards a resolution. There is certainly potential here, but these are a few things that really need to be addressed.

**DO NOT LEASE FROM BOOMER TOWN OR ANY ENTRUST PROPERTY**What a disappointing experience we’ve had. We needed a short term lease for my daughter to finish out her last semester of college. We thought we found the right fit, but little did we know of the issues we would have. Here is a quick breakdown:1) Quoted a monthly rate, but when we received the contract it was $75 a month higher. They also had to resubmit the contract to us 3 times.2) Their air conditioners leak down the wall. This is a common issue with several of the units. My daughter had to wipe mold off the wall and floor from the buildup.3) Security is an issue. My daughter had a maintenance worker just walk into her apartment. The keyless entry allows them to enter at their will. Also, Boomer Town claims locked gates to gain access to the units, but 80% of the time they don’t lock.4) Parking! You need to purchase a spot or you will not have a place to park.5) MANAGEMENT!!! Where do I begin? They will not pick up the phone and call you. I’ve left several messages, but they won’t return a call. They charged me for 2 months of insurance when I provided them proof of coverage. They refused to refund the charges and told me they will start charging late fees if it wasn’t paid. When I asked to speak with management I was told they will call me. I asked for Entrusts Corp number, but they refused to provide it. I was then hung up on.Please stay away from this property and management company. They will leave you with nothing but a headache!!!

Communication is quite horrendous. There are more residents than there are parking spaces. There solution to this to have reserved parking spaces for $30 per month. This monthly fee is an addition to the $80 fee for obtaining a parking decal. If you lose the dice roll of finding a parking space after returning home during the midday or the late-night, your options are slim because the surrounding streets require a there own unique parking permits. The approach to monthly fees is similar to the tactics some airlines employ. There is a seemingly reasonable low cost to attract your attention, but youll soon learn that each checked bag will cost an amount that will surely make it your last time using this airline.

I do not recommend living here. The apartment itself is nice and convenient for MSU students. However, dealing with the property management and maintenance is absolutely ridiculous. They are incredibly hard to get a hold of for anything. When I moved in, there had apparently been a change in management and I was told I couldnt move in on my scheduled move in date and time, after driving 4 hours with all of my belongings to be there that morning. On top of that, the air was not working in my apartment for the first several days that I lived there (in mid August heat). And in winter, my heat wouldnt work. My smoke detector also died and was continuously beeping and maintenance basically told me that I had to deal with it myself or listen to it all weekend because they couldnt come replace the battery on a weekend. It took maintenance several days to get any major thing even looked at. The gates to the apartment dont work half of the time and you have to fight for parking with the businesses in the building. The management makes the apartment not worth it. Dont live here.

The management at this property is horrendous. First off, the parking situation is abhorrent. There is no space for occupants to park because of the coffee shop and salon. When asking management about this they informed me that there were no more reserved spaces available. There is more tenants than spots! I honestly felt unsafe at points because there was no parking at night and therefore I had to circle and sometimes park offsite! I also had my apartment AC broken for a week before they processed my request and fixed it. Upon move out I was charged $325 for excessive dirtiness, wall scratches, and 50$ a tree per nonadhesive REUSABLE decal on the wall. There is a picture attached of the decals I left in the apartment because they were so cute. They took 3 minutes to take down because I moved them several times myself without any damage to the wall. The excessive dirtiness is an absolute joke as you can tell in the pictures. This dirtiness meant some weird orange goo coming out of the seam of the shower AFTER I moved out and couldnt possible have put there. I thought it was fair to leave half of my deposit for them but instead they wanted to charge me 4x that amount.Due to the coronavirus pandemic I had to leave 6 weeks early and in a hurry but I made sure to clean the apartment. I have never had trouble moving out of any of my previous apartments. Honestly, this seems like the management trying to take advantage of a pandemic. I would never recommend this property and it was absolutely the worst apartment experience of my life.

When I toured here, I was only met with an amazing staff who were ready to help at any turn. Although my tour was short, I really enjoyed my time here and recommend any other people visit Boomer Town Studios.Sincerely,EA Sports, CEO of Boomerism

I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. The management here is HORRIBLE!! They are extremely rude, and not helpful. They ignore phone calls, emails, etc. The apartments themselves are not very nice, and parking is awful.

I didn’t have a chance to have a full experience with Boomertown. I wanted to take a tour but I had to call seven times before I had to look for another number, got in contact with someone and they had to put me in contact with management of Boomertown. Once the lady I actually got in contact with gave Boomertowns management a call, I decided to give a call of my own and leave a message. It’s four months later & I still haven’t heard a word back. They are hard to get in contact with and seem to not care about business.
