We used them for our Airbnb property. The decline in the quality in remarkable. We had stopped using them after a broken picture frame and no mention of it which the owner apologized about after guests check in and complained about it. My husband decided we should give them another try because they do sheets laundry and we needed that.Our guests came to a filthy dishwasher with moldy plates and disgusting odor. They took pictures that put us to shame. The cleaning crew didn’t run the dishwasher!!!!! We lost our super host status because we got 2 bad reviews after the last 2 times we’ve used them to clean. And we’re expecting a third bad review after they cleaned or didn’t clean this time.The owner paid me back 30 or 50$ when they overcharged me by 20 mins. John is a good communicator but too busy to handle day to day business and his team isn’t trained to do so. I don’t call and try to solve issues anymore. We will go back to using Maid brigade.

This is my second time using them. They were prompt to return my call and set up my appointment. They confirmed the appointment with a text and then the day of they called to let me know they were about 25 minutes away. All very organized and professional. They did a great job on the rugs and then applied stain protector. I would definitely recommend them.

This company is phenomenal, I use them for cleaning upholstery for my company and they revive the ugliest couch to nearly brand new. Also used them for my carpet in my house and they were able to remove some very old soap stains, food stains and even raked out the carpet to make it fluffy. 100% recommended

I recently used this company to clean my sofa which had several stains on it and Im very happy with the result. The 2-person staff arrived called me ahead of time to expect their arrival, arrived on time and were professional and courteous. Since this is during the Covid-19 pandemic they wore masks the entire time and respected distancing. And they did a fantastic job on the sofa - all stains are gone and it looks like new. They were not the least expensive of the quotes I received, but Im pleased with the result.

After reading excellent reviews, I decided to use Smart Choice for move-in/move-out cleaning and their carpet cleaning services for our townhouse. I will say, the cleaning itself was great. Unfortunately, the CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS THE WORST I’ve ever experienced, and I will never use this company again. One of the maids accidentally messed up our coat closet door and shattered the glass from the bottom/main shelf of our refrigerator on the day we were moving out of state. I get it, accidents happen and luckily, the maid was not cut/hurt, but the way this company handled it was OUTRAGEOUS. I spoke with Elva (Smart Choice manager) on how to proceed. She tried to have someone replace the glass with plexiglass (which is far from glass) and it would not fit in our fridge properly. That’s a-whole-nother story that I won’t get into. Then, they charged us 30 minutes of additional time for what it took to clean up the glass that the maid broke?!?! When I asked Elva about the additional charge after the two huge inconveniences, she deceivingly told me that she already took off the charge for the third maid, but we only had two maids the entire time… We spent at least 30 minutes fixing the coat closet door ourselves, hours figuring out a solution for the fridge shelf, and spent almost $700 for the services we received. There was no discount for the mistakes/inconveniences they made, and instead we were charged extra. UNBELIEVABLE and completely unprofessional. Not a smart choice at all.

So after being a customer for 4 years and using their services over 8 times for carpet cleaning of 5 rooms and a stairwell. I’m very disappointed to say that when I used their upholstery cleaning services that it was far beyond awful. I contacted customer service and they informed me that they would give me a $25 credit towards my next cleaning services which I thought was absurd especially since I spent between $300-$400 to have a large three piece sectional cleaned. As a long time returning faithful customer I felt as though I should have received a bigger credit towards my next service or a free cleaning of my sectional the correct way. I sent them photos of the unclean sectional and it’s clear you can see that the job was half done and they’ve refused to make it right so they have lost a client, I will never use any of their services again.

I wanted to have my carpets cleaned before my grandchildren arrived and hired Smart Choice based on their reviews. My service was performed on 5/31/19 and I wasnt going to leave a review, but, since I chose them based on their reviews I wanted others to know of my experience. My husband and I are the only ones living in our home and generally clean the carpets ourselves. We thought wed hire professionals this time because our backs wouldnt stand up to doing the stairs.The job consisted of cleaning the carpets in my family room, dining room and two sets of stairs. We dont use our dining room so the carpet was pretty clean with the exception of an area where we cut through the dining room to get to the butlers pantry. They did a good job on the dining room and stairs, but, my family room looked horrible. There were dark streak marks in the carpet that the technician advised would disappear once it dried and would be easy to just vacuum out. I asked that he go over it again but the concern was there would be more water added and the carpet would take longer to dry. Besides, he said he didnt have time because he had to return to the job before mine to do some re-cleaning. Once the carpet dried it looked just as horrible as when wet! A few days later, I re-cleaned the carpet myself which in hindsight I should have done in the first place. I could have called the office and had them send someone out to re-clean the carpet, but, after such a poor job it wasnt worth removing all the furniture from the room again and I no longer had faith in their work. I believe they rushed to complete the job, which they were 30 minutes late for and completed in an hour and twenty five minutes, so they could go back to the previous job and still make it to their next appointment. I would not use them again and would not recommend them. I gave them 2 stars because they did a good job on my stairs and the walkway through my dining room.

Working with John and his team was a great pleasure! I had carpets washed in 3 bedrooms, and the technicians were done in no time. Additionally, they picked up 7 rugs for washing and returned them within few days. John personally delivered the rugs to ensure that I was happy with the work done. Our basement flooded twice in a matter of days in 2018 from rain, and Smart Choice Cleaning answered the phone in the middle of the night and showed up with extraction equipment, fans and everything else we needed -- both times. They even worked with our insurance company to ensure the damages were covered. Were now using SCC for routine cleaning and theyve been so easy to work with, reasonably priced, polite, professional and communicative. We highly recommend them!

I have used Smart Choice Cleaning for more than eight years now. Not only do their employees do an excellent job with regularly scheduled cleaning (and they are very friendly when I see them), but they do special jobs (stove, refrigerator, windows, hardwood floors, carpets, tile cleaning) periodically when I need these extra jobs at a reasonable price. I think it only took them 60-90 min to finish. The gentlemen were informative, friendly, and considerate while in my home and may carpets look fabulous. Used these folks for a move out cleaning...they committed to a smaller block of time than other big cleaners and offered both maid and professional carpet cleaning. The maids were awesome and the carpet guys were just as good! The apartment was clean, smelled great, and Im getting my deposit back! He worked on the sofas like he was cleaning the owner of the companys items. My items looked FANTASTIC when he was through.Yohance got ink and soot out of my items that lingured for years. I had a well known cleaning team clean the same sofas last year and Smart Choice is, hands down, head and shoulders above in its upholstery cleaning abilities. The owner came to my home and gave me a free estimate of what my job would cost via email within 1/3 of leaving. After I booked Smart Choice, I received a confirmation e-mail as soon as I scheduled them to come, a phone call the day before to confirm and their technician called me that morning and let me know he was on the way. He arrived just as promised, reviewed everything that he was going to do, answered any questions and went straight to work. He kept me informed of his timetable and finished right on time. He was a impressive young man and I couldnt be happier with the job that he did! I even booked their spring cleaning services I was so impressed with Smart Choice!
