A for effort I like going there for the haircuts but when it comes to trimming my beard or mustache I was in a really big fan but that doesnt mean that I wont be back I never give up on a barbershop I always give them a chances

After months without a cut, I came in today to get a trim. One of the barbers told me that he couldnt cut my hair because it was too long, and suggested I go elsewhere. I simply crossed the street and got a trim at your competitors, whom I am happy to say did a spectacular job.I dont own a business, much less a barber shop, and I just might be taking a wild shot in the dark here, but 1) people come to barber shops precisely *because* their hair is too long, by whatever estimation, and 2) businesses typically want to attract customers instead of alienating them or driving them away.Nevertheless, if you are hell-bent on driving your business into the ground, Ill be all too happy to help. To save you and your potential customers the aggravation, I can certainly oblige you by telling everyone I know not to patronize your establishment, on top of giving you a one-star review. Have gone to Duketts for years. Perfect military haircut everytime. Best thing he is fast, clean and uses a straight edge razor for a close shave. Go during the week! Avoid Fridays if you can because everyone seems to go during this time.

I tried going to Duketts Barber Shop instead of Beggs (the last time I went to Beggs it took two months for my hair to grow enough so that I didnt look bald). When I got there there were a couple of other people ahead of me and only one barber working. The one barber working was a younger guy and he was taking forever. After awhile, another barber came in, but he had to eat his McDonalds lunch first. The second barber seemed better and faster. When the young guy finished, a retired cop was next in line. However, he refused to go, so I got stuck with the younger guy. I told the kid that I really didnt want very much taken off. I just wanted to neaten up my hair. He took forever and keep spraying water on my head. I was getting a really bad headache by this time. The whole time I was in there, they were playing Blues music which got old really fast. It took 90 minutes from the time I got to the barber shop until I was able to leave. To add insult to injury, the kid cut my hair way too short. If you want to look like a cop or a marine go here. Otherwise, go somewhere else.
