First stop when you walk into the shop you feel like youre at home. The decorations are enough to get you in, there is so much to look at!. Theyre great with kids and do an awesome job on Kids Cuts, I know my son loved talking with John about all the different animals. Theyve even got chess in the back if you want to play while you wait! This is one of the best barber shops in town and has very competitive prices. My barber was John and I believe hes the owner if you get the chance all of the gentleman there do a great job I just know that Ill be seeing John for the rest of my life as long as I live in town. Worth the drive 10 out of 10 excellent service

Went in last minute at the direction of a buddy due to my normal barber being closed for the holidays and me needing a haircut for my wedding. Im not a big fan of change when it comes to my barber considering it takes time to find one that can do a perfect fade. Calvin did an awesome job and hooked me up with that perfect fade. Its nice that they also still do the hot neck shave. These guys will deffinately be my new back up!

It’s time to go back. I’ll be headed over to Brentwood Barber Shop next week. I really enjoy this place. I have very fond memories of my grandfather taking me to the barber when I was a child. Brentwood takes me back there. It is a very manly place. Don’t care if that last statement is PC or not. Jon is my barber. He is also a veteran so that makes him my brother as well. I really enjoy setting and listening to everyone talk. Jon is a great barber, all the guys there are. I have seen each of them work with all ages. I can be in a bad mood but once I get into Jon’s chair my demeanor changes immediately. Not that I am always in a bad mood when I am there. So if you need a haircut go see them. They are a local shop, not a chain. Sometimes there might be a little bit of a wait but it is worth the time.

All I have to say is I’ve been going here for 9 years now. John the owner is a great guy and runs a good barbershop. Calvin has been cutting my hair for about 16 months and i highly recommend him to everyone. I’ve been to many different shops over the years in Springfield, but I keep going back to these boys month after month. Ive been going here for nearly a year and these have always been great, Ive only ever had Calvin cut both mine andy sons hair and hes always been awesome. My son is barely over a year old so he can be a little squirmy but Calvin has been very patient and great. Not mention he cuts an awesome fade and their price is hard to beat. I recommend their shop to everyone.

This is by far the best barber shop in town. Ive been to others, many of them good, but the attention to detail here is amazing! They take their time and strive for perfection. John and Calvin are excellent for skin fades (I just havent had Ray cut my hair yet). The conversation and atmosphere is very comfortable and welcoming for everyone. I dont know where a previous reviewer is getting her ideas regarding race. John has been my barber for MANY YEARS and I have seen nothing but love and respect shown to all of his clients regardless of skin color, sexual orientation or any other reason. Nothing but respect. It might be a good idea to actual be sure of the facts before publicly accusing someone of such a deplorable motive.

I loved it the way it was, and I will defend Doug tell the day I die, hes got the most experience there then anyone. So if you dont like him, your not a true customer of Brentwood barbershop. I think the shop was better when me and Doug ran it. No complaints and we were voted the best in the ozarks. Not the news leader were you have to pay for your rank vote, but by merchant circle, who voted by the quality of work, not how much you pay for rank.

Ive had multiple people go there. Ive recommended them for haircuts..the younger guy with a longer beard is an excellent barber. Great personality... Great barber... The older guy that works there..(possibly the owner) is not a good barber. This is 2019.. you need to learn how to fade correctly. .. I will still go there but will not recommend you. Also to the older man/owner when a black/African American customer walks in... Keep your opinions and non spoken attitude under control. It was very clear you didnt want to cut his hair. Again.. 2019... He did not offend you.. you judged him as soon as he walked in. You have the right as a person to have n opinion. But others still watch your ungrateful and biased attitude.

Im happy they took us in as walkins on short notice but I had one sideburn that was straight and the other at a 45° angle. Might give another shot because they were so friendly

Just left with a great, slick cut! Real cool shop that is nothing over-the-top, but has great service. I walked in around 9 oclock on a Saturday morning and was immediately seated in a barbers chair. Calvin was my barber and I would highly recommend! Ill be going back to Brentwood to get my next cut👍

I havent been there in over a year because I moved away, but I saw a picture of myself from a few years ago and I was really impressed. John, Doug and Jordan are a great bunch and theyll leave you satisfied. One time I was in a rush at the end of the day and I think it was John who got me taken care of in less than 10 minutes. Otherwise, I would have had to wait until the next day.Theyll usually have some old SciFi movie or something on the TV too.

I have been going to John at Brentwood since before he went to Brentwood. (3 years ago) John is hands down the best barber in Springfield, check his Instagram if you dont believe me. This is not a hipster barbershop in that they dont charge outrageous prices and they dont take appointments. However, if you bother to get to know the guys you will realize they are committed to their art! Bring cash, yeah it is that old school excellence, dont bring card. I cannot say enough about this barbershop, but regardless it is worth visiting before you spend a $30 at the trendy barbershop. Best Barbershop in Springfield!!!!

Looking threw the reviews they only respond to good reviews and ignore the negative ones rather than trying to fix it. Thats poor customer service! My hair cut here wasnt even sub par I had to have it fixed...If you want a good haircut go to Dillangers behind plaza towers! Brad and Doug know what they are doing!

I’m really not trying to bash this place, but I was horribly upset and disappointed with my haircut. I came here on a walk in to get a fade. I asked for a tapered fade, and to keep all the length on the top . Assuming this guy was a semi decent “barber,” I figured that he would fade my hair along the same fade lines as my last haircut. Unfortunately, I was wrong :/ I basically ended up with a Mohawk. The man who cut my hair started the fade way too high up on my head. Don’t touch the top means DO NOT TAKE ANY HAIR OFF THE TOP!!!!!!! Pretty self explanatory. The man who gave me my cut also seemed like he was in a rush, despite the fact that there was no one waiting in the shop. After I left I noticed a lot of sloppy spots where he obviously didn’t pay much attention to detail at all. I tried to come back and have them fix it, but they refused to since they were closing, despite the fact that their hours on the door said they were open for another hour. I ended up at a Supercuts, and even the lady there agreed that the fade looked sloppy and rushed. I had to take length off the top and get the sides done again just to make it look decent, which I’m not happy about at all :/ SAD when a Supercuts does better than a barbershop, really.......Pathetic. I should’ve know to run when I walked into a bunch of dead animals on the walls. The place looked more like a Bass Pro than a Barber Shop. I’d usually turn around and walk out upon entry to a place like that, but I was trying to have an open mind, should’ve listened to my gut. I would’ve been a lot happier spending 30$ at a “trendy “ barber shop to get some quality, or 10 at Supercuts 😂😂😂😂😂

I have been in here 4 times trying to give them a chance. I am bald and i like a straight razor cut. I will no longer be going here and here is why. 1st time perfect no complaints 2nd time same thing did what i asked 3rd time i asked for the samething and the bald guy in here started doing his thing. And next he said man i cant do it we r getting busy so he safety cut it. Ok ok he was busy fine. 4th thime i went in 3/7 first thing in the morning had big beard guy this time i said i want a straight razor shave. Well what do u know he used a wahls electric shaver and said man this is the best shave any body could ask for. Well buddy thats not what i asked for. Nobody was in there till the end and he started rushing. Long story short i will never go back to brentwoods barborshop. O and a straight razor shave is $25. Sry guys i dont recommend this place
