This place really wants to be members only course. The staff and members treat the public like garbage. Apparently a 4 hour round is too slow. You’ll get hit into even before clearing the greens without even a whisper of “fore.” We played here once and will be our last. The course is tight and on many holes you’re hitting into other fairways and groups. We had a group of members hit into us on two separate occasions. They were trying to instigate a fight because they thought we were playing slow. The reality is the marshal said our pace was good and that the members were just anxious. We never received a warning for slow play. When we reacted after getting hit into we were threaten to fight. And when we complained to the Marshall they blew us off saying they’re members and the heat makes people anxious . We had to all be separated in the parking lot. Not a good look for the course snd members. I’ve never experienced such hostility while golfing. Again, from “members”. Just low class. We won’t be returning. They can keep their wannabe “members” course in the country to themselves.
Truly enjoy our time there. The course was in great shape. The restaurant was yummy and the staff was great. Johnny H, the course Marshall was a super awesome host and look forward to golfing again soon.
One of my favorite golf courses to go on with my husband. We love how beautiful it is here. It took my breath away how beautifully well taken care of this golf course was.You can really tell they care about detail here.we all had a wonderful time and everyone we saw and talked to there was just very kind and welcomeing.Looking forward to coming back :)
This is my local course. I could not be happier with the improvements and work that has gone into the course over the last year. Im excited to spend some long summer days looking for my errant drives in the woods. If you are looking for a great golf experience give this place a try!
I was looking forward to golfing here, but after my husband and 3 others played there two Sundays ago (who are members at Eugene Country Club plus two other private courses in Utah), they told me about the bad and embarrassing behavior of the members and marshals. The first 9, a group of public players hit into them, without an apology or a courteous “fore”. Their group let another group of members play through included a Marshal who was not working that day and then They hit into my husband’s group while they hadn’t cleared the greens on the back 9 even though their pace was good. They also did not apologize and were antagonizing. Once my husband’s group flagged the The Marshal at the 18th hole to let him know what time they started and the marshal confirmed they were playing at perfect pace (they played for 4 hours), he tried downplaying the issue. The group of members mad dogged their group in the parking lot and even yelled “don’t start something you can’t finish” after the 4th time they hit into my mother in law and it landed at her feet on the green. This is unacceptable behavior at any course and for the marshals and course to side with belligerent members is not going to be well for them in the long run if they want to also keep this course partially public. Very disappointed to hear this.
I have always enjoyed playing this course. The staff is always very friendly and genuinely care about the customer experience. The course is typically in excellent shape. I appreciate the work put into the course and the changes that have been made. It has been slower since COVID, but I can’t fault the course for the lack of other options to play. It’s the best course for the price BY FAR. Keep up the excellent work👍
Good food and golfing on the outskirts of Springfield out in the country.
Love this course. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. The bar has great food too.
I was disappointed with the grass...and ya know, its like kinda a big deal. Were playing golf here people. Not having a ho down Im uncle jims hayfield!
We went to the river away from the golf course. Lol
Wonderful Easter brunch experience courtesy of the course Mens League Champ! Thank you Pine Ridge for putting out a delicious holiday feast!
Beautiful course, great price, but very slow... Last couple rounds took about 5 hours to get around. Ive got stuck behind a couple groups of 5, I didnt think that was allowed...could use a Marshall keeping the pace of play up...I’m glad there will be some changes in the spring. I’ll head out there again soon.I actually started at 1225 (went out early there foursome before me let me tee off before them) finished up back nine plus 5 holes before 3 took 1:20 to finish because the group in front wouldn’t let me play through...
Wonderful place too golf
Had to play the back 9 and wasnt in the best shape for the price they charged.
The course is always in good shape and its a beautiful setting and backdrop. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work.
I go to the bridge across from the golf course, have yet to check this place out.
The course itself is great. Ive been playing here for years and I love it. But the last few rounds Ive played it took almost 3 hours to play 9 holes and we are on pace for a 5.5 hour round for 18. Itll be the last time Ill be out here for awhile. They need a marshal to speed things along.
Great host for our Fundraiser
I took my grandson for a private lesson from Steve. He learned new techniques & enjoyed the 1 hour. Said it went by fast. We have signed up for 5 1hr lessons. Restaurant is good but expensive, balcony is nice to watch golfers and the beautiful course.
Beautiful course and amazing staff in the pro shop!!
This is a hidden GEM. What a fun beautiful course. First time but already my favorite golf course. Awesome!
Pine Ridge is a great challenging course. Awesome staff and great clubhouse. We will be playing it more often
Fantastic course! First time playing there this past weekend. The front 9 is amazing. A ton of elevation changes with slight dog legs. And A plus staff working the golf shop. Out of state and wish we could go back....
Solid golf course. Greens are in very good condition. Amiable staff. Challenging lies on a lot of the holes on the front side. Good test of golf. Scenic.
Great layout.....
Great day in Springfield today. The course is in great shape. We had a lot of fun!
First time playing at Pine Ridge. Wont be the last for sure. Challenging layout as a big hitter, you wont be able to hit driver off every tee. Definitely a shot makers course. My thanks to Brandon Duke for a fun round of golf. Very reasonably priced, $40 on Sunday morning. Great views on many of the holes. I recommend playing here to all interested.
Great course. Very challenging but offers high handicaps a place that is fun and rewarding.
This is a beautiful course and very challenging. You can play this course day after day and not get bored with it. The food is excellent in the clubhouse and the people are very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend Pine Ridge to anyone, experienced or novice.
Great, friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful course with some gorgeous views. Reasonable rates for membership or public play.
I dont golf but if you find a ball they buy it back.
Great course!
Just had Easter brunch here with my family in the Mohawk Grill/old Springfield Country Club club house. It overlooked much of the golf course. The buffet food was well stocked. The staff were all very nice .
Had a Cross Country race here. Scenery is very good. Grass is in great shape. Not too hilly so that was nice.
Pineridge lies on either side of the Mohawk River and is in a wonderful setting for a golf course. It started many years ago as the Springfield Country Club and became a public course a few years back. New owners took the course over this year have been doing a number of things to upgrade the course and facilties. There is a well stocked bar and restaurant with fresh and reasonably priced entries. Their steak salad is definitely worth ordering.
Always fun coming here and playing a round. Spring time golf here is awesome. Very thick grass around the greens to give you the challenge to hit the green or risk a stroke getting it close on your chip. Greens were a little bumpy when we were there last. It definitely effected the direction of the ball a few times. But they probably sanded a few weeks earlier, which would cause that. They are probably smooth by now.Ill definitely be back in the near future!
Course was in great shape.
Great course and restaurant
The course has good bones. If they can recover the greens it will be really nice. It was my first time there today, I can’t wait to see it with good greens.
Good golf. Extremely nice staff. Nice restaurant
Usually this course is great, but it seems something happened that really degraded the conditions of the fairways and ESPECIALLY the greens. My rating takes into account my collective experiences at this course.Cost is not terrible ($40 walking today), but a bit much for the condition. People are nice, and there is a drink cat that comes around occasionally. The course itself has a different feel for the front and the back 9s. The front is hilly with some water, the back is flat with only road and river trouble along a few holes. All in all a good course when it is in good condition.
Great group of guys that play out here. Beautiful setting. Well thought out course. Love it here.
Love to golf
Beautiful course, Steve was great unfortunately we got rained out but will be back on a nicer day
A surprise in the country, a neighborhood restaurant with beautiful views of the golf course from oversized windows.
Nice course. Greens are in recovery but the course still plays well. Several nice signature holes.
Love the old Springfield country club
Golfed 18 this afternoon. All the greens are completely fried down the dirt and covered in yellow jackets. Avoid this course
Continued decline in conditions. I have live in Lane county for years, and after many years of giving this course a chance to improve to join the club as a member, I have decided otherwise, because conditions have proven to worsen. It will take a lot to get me to spend my money here.
Loved the course..service was well above standard...I will play this course as much as I can..:)
Well... Tougher then is looks. Nice course, nice people. Nuff said
Recently played Pine Ridge, first time back since change of ownership. I’d say course was in better condition, would recommend playing here.
Great setting, service and food could use some fine tuning, food is average for a country club
Greens are pretty rough, fairways real tight and a lot of ways to lose balls if u get a little to far left or right. Restaurant and bar were good.
I dont golf but found some gem quality rocks and petrified wood beautiful pieces agates Jasper P Wood pet wood pit wood
Beautiful course! Great fun! Head pro is an awesome guy!
Great course great service
Had a great time! Fun course!
Sensational course. Breathtaking views.Service is always top notch, and the clientele is friendly.
I love this place! great course and very friendly staff!
Great time with my girls golfing today. Very nice staff.
It is a mud pit in the winter but still fun.
Fun course, friendly staff, easy to get a tee time
Great quality supplies and nice people, the course is also allways clean
Best, cleanest, friendliest and funnest club ever..... Go check them out !
This course is a joke. They require a dress code yet the greens are dead and the course is in overall horrible condition. Worst course I’ve ever played on. They are presumably going out of business.
Great place to golf. Great staff.
Beautiful course. Staff is wonderful
Greens just sanded, otherwise a very nice rxperiance.
Pretty rough cut through out greens were slow and not welll maintained. Poor maintenance all around . Im giving this course three stars because I see potential for it during the summer months. I wouldnt play here for 50 dollars during the spring or winter months
Great place.
Nice course. Only complaint was that the course is very poorly marked . Difficult to find holes sometimes.
We golfed Sunday March 19th and the course is a mess. They charged us full price yet the course is really muddy and the grass very long. We lost numerous golf balls in the first cut. Many traps are filled with water and several greens have significant winter damage. The cart was useless as we had to stay on the cart paths and again full price.
Nice to deal with. Nice greens
Good people great service and the greens are fast
Decent course for this time of year. Over priced, but not too out of range.
Great fun and warm friendly employees.
I worked there and it amazing
Course was in terrible shape! Most the greens were just bare dry dirt and not even grass
Nice place to golf
Great course.
The greens were in terrible shape
