Gorgeous venue with wonderful staff. We had our wedding reception here and couldnt be happier with the way it turned out. Thank you again for everything.

It was a very nice place and the guy was supper nice and helpful. I loved the older type being it was warm and inviting.

Food and drinks were good. Burger was cooked amazingly and rib eye sandwich wad soooooo tender. Really enjoyed the appetizers. They had life music which was nice and not too loud.

Arlingtons made my husbands surprise birthday party amazing. They made sure everything was perfect. The food was fantastic and set up was just what we wanted.

Ebben and his staff were absolutely amazing to work with! Hosted a bridal shower here and Ebben made every detail flawless and totally stress free! All communication planning this was very simple and and collaborative! He and his team made my daughters’ Bridal shower more than she could have ever imagined! All our guests raved at how beautiful the venue was the food was delicious. I would 109% recommend using Arlingtons venue for any occasion.

An enjoyable quick bite to eat with the wife. Had the Philly cheesesteak and their hand cut chips. She had the avocado humus with pita wedges, celery and carrots. Great light dinner. This place is an upscale pub, very nice interior and a great place to enjoy a quiet evening. Food is always consistently good and priced reasonable.

Its one of those cool places you dont want other people to know about. Everything is great its a hidden gem. Service was top notch, love this joint. Never had anyrhing I didnt enjoy.

Ebben and the entire staff at Arlingtons were amazing. I had my wedding at Arlingtons and Ebben made the entire experience a great one. Aside from Ebben being the kindest person ever to work with, the venue was stately and beautiful! The staff remembered guests drinks orders and nobody was left waiting for a drink! The dinner was delicious and I had a filet wrapped in bacon that was cooked perfectly. I would encourage anyone contemplating using Arlingtons for any event to pursue their idea, and I would definitely use them again!

Awesome venue to host weddings and events, kinda nostalgic with a modern twist. Owner is great at helping make sure the event goes off without any trouble. Plus makes sure that all vendors are taken care of. Food is also great beef brisket and chicken is fully cooked and juicy, also very generous portions as well.

The place looks pretty but theyre terrible to work for the bathrooms upstairs are atrocious they dont have any walls separating so you get the added advantage of being able to poop in front of your friends and the people look a little run-down and shabby but the place looks nice they have some interesting artwork and they serve there they do their own catering theres absolutely no room for anybody to work as far as the DJ goes though and they make sure even if your contract States it that your help doesnt get to eat

We visited Arlingtons for a private function recently and had a good time. The space was nice and well appointed. However the meals served were less than stellar. I chose a vegetarian stir fry option and it was a disappointing pile of mushy rice with very few vegetables. I asked how the other dishes were and the prime rib and salmon also got mixed reviews amongst the group. Hopefully it was an off night because otherwise I really liked the place and the staff.

Definitely one of my favorites. The food is great and the prices arent bad at all. Ive always had good service here.

Very disappointed in the food and service. Came in from out of town and picked Arlingtons based on the high ratings. Atmosphere is super cool! Unfortunately, the food and service was not. Portion sizes are rather small. Ordered 3 meals and all 3 meals underwhelmed us. BLT with 2 strips of bacon...really? Buffalo chicken waffle sandwich had 2 soggy chicken strips with not much flavor. The philly cheese steak is tiny with very little meat. More bread than anything. They definitely werent generous with fries either. Sangria was all ice, very little sangria. Our server went MIA after dropping off our food and another server took over our table. Total bummer because the inside is unique, fun and corky.

Very nice, friendly staff but very nasty food. I don’t know how you can eat there and praise the food with a straight face, unless you like extra oil with your meal then I get it...

Excellent food, fast, professional service and in a relaxed atmosphere. Our group descended on them like a horde of Vikings and I thought they would be overwhelmed. But they handled the situation with style. Friendly, people and for such a small staff, truly outstanding service.Top Marks all the way around.

Our first time here. Great atmosphere, I love preserved old buildings, and this was grand. The service was fantastic and the food even better. I had the waiting on gouda burger and it was delicious! Recommend this to everyone!

Fun fun great place

I had an uber eats order from Arlingtons, and the food was perfect! It traveled well, my burger was soft, juice, moist, and tender. My onion rings were crisp, and fresh, and the pierogis were perfect!When quarantine is over I will definitely go there for the sit down experience, but until then I will definitely reccomend to all my friends and family.

My wife and I were in Springfield and I felt like being a little more adventurous than Olive Garden. I was impressed with the owners response to one of the negative reviews on here and decided to give it a try.We both loved the place. My wife loved their spicy ketchup, and my buffalo wings on waffles were great! The service was great and the atmosphere was fun. I wished we lived closer.

Just eaten at Arlington and as usual the food and service was great. My waiter was very nice and attentive to our group.

This is one of my favorite places to go for downtown eating. Great food, nice casual atmosphere, staff are excellent, place is always nest and clean, its not expensive at all for what you get; Ive never had a bad experience here. Im very glad this place continues to do well and I hope they do for a good long time. Ill be back real soon.

Highly recommend the gourmet grilled cheese sandwich, although a little less tomato reduction would have made it perfect. Also, well-done burger ordered by my friend arrived pink, but it was replaced with no qualms for a much more satisfactorily cooked burger fairly quickly. Within walking distance of the Abraham Lincoln Double Tree hotel.

Ive been to the place several times and Ive been impressed every time but the first time. (There was a waitress the first time that I think was just having a bad night.)I recommend Arlingtons to pretty much everybody I know and most people that try it end up loving it. This has become an often visited restaurant when we travel to Springfield. We had lunch there after 1pm and no one else was there. Must be because Congress was not in session. I had the chicken wrap and it was delicious. Of course, the chips were outstanding, as always.

Arlingtons is an excellent out-of-the-way spot for dinner and/or drinks. Its a mix of classy and fun with its Victorian-inspired decor, solid craft beer list, and unique menu. Its one of Springfields newest places and already one of my favorites. The craft beer list is solid, the food is really good, and the bartenders and patrons are friendly. What more could you want?

Awesome food. Make this a must do when in Springfield. Downside-no handicap accessibility. Limits patrons with disabilities and their loved ones. Historic building, nice staff.

Had a lovely lunch here today. Apple, pear, and crumbled gorgonzola with a fresh green salad topped with a delicious walnut raspberry dressing. I ordered it with a grilled chicken breast for some extra protein. The staff were all friendly and provided great service.

This is a different kind of restaurant. Located in what used to be a nightclub, this restaurant has literary inspiration. Food is decent and staff is awesome. The menu is small but can satisfy most of my taste. I also just love what theyve done with the place. Its beautiful and artistic. Just perfect for the downtown Springfield area

When they first opened Arlingtons was great, but weve really seen the quality go down in the past year or so. Sadly, this one is off our list now. A shame really, they had a lot going for them, great location, unique decor, good menu.

A quirky place, with live music and a strange atmosphere. It seems like the restaurant took parts of a few different restaurants/bars and put them together. Some of the decor is a bit weird, but that kind of adds to the charm. The food is good, and they have a good craft beer selection.

Had the 217 special burger. Very good. Nice place with lots of character. Nice staff.

Great service/hosting - I was here for a wedding reception and they managed everything in a friendly, timely and professional manner. The only issues I can imagine anyone having with this business is its exclusivity due to its very high demand and few openings. If anyone was on the fence in choosing this as a venue for an event, dont be discouraged.. just keep trying!

I was there for my first time with a large group. It was a unique atmosphere. The service was fine and the food was pretty good. I enjoyed myself, and would go again with my husband to take it all in and try different food.

(Update) Based on your response, I would inform your staff not to say they dont have an item because the owner doesnt like it. I will keep checking your menu and hopefully will return again. I did like your sweetie red wine. Changed rating from 3 to 4 stars. ;-)Good food but disappointed I couldnt get mushrooms on my burger. Apparently the owner doesnt like mushrooms so he doesnt serve them at his restaurant. Hmm...I guess you can only order what the owner likes.

We used Arlingtons as a wedding venue for both our reception and ceremony, and it was perfect! The food was great, the drinks were good, their sound system was easy to use, the space is already beautifully decorated with a wonderful layout so its simple to add your own details to make the space your own, and the prices were very reasonable. The owner was a joy to work with and made the entire process incredibly easy; whenever we had questions he was quick to respond with added feedback and tips. The entire staff did an amazing job and was incredibly accommodating to all of our guests. Throughout the early planning process we looked at venues from St. Louis to Chicago, but this gem in our own backyard was definitely the best choice.

Great craft beer selection, beautiful historic details with the right mix of modern atmosphere. The upstairs party room is great for showers or company parties. Food is delicious and moderately priced. Staff is friendly and dress code is casual.

Prime Rib shouldnt be chewy. Absolutely inedible.

As they put it, “A menu of burgers & American pub fare is served with a full bar in a chic, redecorated 1917 factory.” This is a fancy little hole in the wall, tucked away from the main road. With a couple of coworkers from my team, we tested the waters of Arlington’s. The service was, of course, friendly, but a little on the slow side considering the lack of lunchtime clientele (my only gripe).We started off our lunch with an appetizer of chips. You could tell these were house made – crunchy and delicious. Then, for the main entrée, we each tried one of their sandwiches/burgers; the pulled pork sandwich, grilled chicken sandwich, and the Flavor Explosion burger. Reportedly, the pulled pork and grilled chicken sandwiches were ‘on point’. As for mine (the Flavor Explosion), wow. Burger patty, pepper jack, bacon, and a fried egg, and yes, a whole jalapeño, with a pretzel bun. Let me just say – this belly is satisfied.This is one of many in a running list of downtown establishments that opens from 11am-2pm and then closes for a couple hours during the mid afternoon to then be open from 4pm to late. So, plan your time accordingly.Check this place out, you won’t regret it!

Stopped here to get a quick lunch before the Lincoln sites based on a discount coupon included with our hotel package. Really wasnt expecting much and ended up pleasantly surprised.Went with the special which was a cheese filled brat with grilled onions and spices. It was excellent on a soft roll. The server was friendly and very attentive. The décor was quirky and fun. Nice place. Would definitely go back.

I love a place that has a lot of community connections, and Arlingtons fits that bill. A great downtown establishment!

It was okay, but to be truthful didnt get to order off the menu. Just run of the mill bar food. Not foodie food. And $10 a glass for 14 hands was a bit steep for a low level red.

Good place to eat but the parking can be a challenge on the one way street. Finding the actual restaurant once you enter the doors can be challenging too. Its a tiny place with a bar and about 10 tables to eat. The food is good but portions tend to be small to medium sized.

Im vegan.Thats why I gave it 4 stars.....Not many choices for me.The ambience is great though, very artsy.The staff is friendly.....because we were a party of around 25, the wait time was significantly long.Some in our party were done eating when I got my plate....and I was one of the first to order.???

Arlington’s is fantastic!! Great food, full bar, and a wonderful venue upstairs for weddings, parties etc. I have attended and also DJed here many times, the staff is what gives this place that “it” factor; they are all very friendly and welcoming, would recommend to anyone wanting a great meal, a few drinks, or planning an event to give them a try!

I have had several salads and burgers from Arlington and Ive always been very pleased with the food and the service. the atmosphere is somewhat eclectic but thats a good thing its very interesting and a great place to sit and have a nice meal and conversation with your friends. the fact that it is not overly expensive and has a complete Liquor Bar adds to the excellent experience you will have here.

We accidentally found this place Saturday.And we are so glad we did.What a nice place.With good food and a cool atmosphere.Everyone should try!!
